sterling holidays just give false promises are going on duping thousands of people like us.they misguide and after we pay 30000 to 50000 they just do a vanishing act. i have purchase membership (id no 1218368) and paid rs 57349 on promise that i would get a confirmed booking for nainital and corbett resorts .i was also promised one way flight tickets.but once my all cheques got cleared they havent sent me any receipt, welcome kit.also turned down my vacation booking saying that you have to pay more, is there no law to punish them. first of all they should not be allowed to take any such closed room meetings with customers. after asking for termination without using any of their facilities they have not answered to date.

    I have mailed on [protected]@sterlingholidays.com, 4-5 times about the cancellation, no one re replying. The benefits and other facilites are totally different from what the Sterling executive told . This company is a fraud company, No one is replying, I am sending mails since april, 15. I have only one option left, to file FIR against the people who called me at hotel and entice me by telling wrong benefits. They tried to take Rs.195000/ as membership fees, but I gave 24414/- as down payment. Now i am asking to cancel it and refund back the amount, no one is replying my mails. This is cheating,

      (CUST ID[protected]: FRAUD AND CHEAP MARKETING TACTICS BY STERLING HOLIDAYS

      Dear Sir / Madam,

      I wish to highlight the fraudelent and cheap marketing tactics employed by STERLING HOLIDAYS. I availed the white membership plan in April 2015 (details can be traced from my Cust Id 1221050) with a down payment of 27043/- (cheque) and opted to pay the remaining membership fee in 12 equal EMIs after of 22, 000. The names of sales representatives were Mr. Yogesh Jain, Mr. Yogesh Kasurde and one more lady having Mob No[protected].

      The following benefits were promised: (all of which is mentioned on the explanatory note obtained at the time of booking)
      1) 10 reference credits (9x8000 + 1x5000 = Rs 77, 000/-) to be credited to my account after 4th EMI
      2) 2 year RCI Membership
      3) Complimentary additional holiday package of (6N/7D) during the first year
      4) Normal benefits such as disounts, food vouchers etc

      I kept on asking for an email confirmation and receipt which was promised to be delivered within 10 working days which however was received after 2 months from date of booking.

      Thereafter, on contact after paying the 4th EMI, Sterling staff (Vinita Singh, Poonam S) flatly refused promise of 10 reference credits to which I expressed complete disappointment and requested them to cancel my membership. To my utter surprise, the reply given was - NO REFUNDS AFTER 10 DAYS AS PER COMPANY POLICY !!! Mails have been sent to the following addreses - [protected]@sterlingholidays.com, [protected]@sterlingholidays.com, poonam.[protected]@sterlingholidays.com, online.[protected]@sterlingholidays.com to no avail.

      I have since filed a complaint with local police station and also intend to pursue the matter with consumer court to expose this fraudulent and unethical company.

                I had taken Sterling Holidays package in the Name of my Husband Mr.Atul Kadam and we paid Rs.26, 856.00 made on SBI Credit Card XX0461 at STERLING HOLIDAY on 27 Jan 15 . However, within 20 days by realizing that the Company is fufilling there promises, We had send a mail on 16.2.2015 for Cancellation of membership and refund the amount paid on 27.1.2015. As, I am going through there Cancellation Policy, it clearly Mentioned that any Cancellation of Policy between11-60 days from the date of Policy taken, 25% of the amount will be deducted and balance 75% will be Refeunded with 60 days. Howver, when we send the Mail for Cancellation we got following reply from them; From: Sterling Holidays Date: Fri, Mar 13, 2015 at 12:32 PM Subject: Re: Reference to your Customer ID:1218723 [ ref:_00D301GMTQ._500a0quhy5:ref ] To: "[protected]@gmail.com" Dear Mr. Kadam, Greetings from Sterling Holidays! We have received your letter for cancellation of your membership and are concerned that you wish to opt out of your membership. We regret to inform you that as per the terms of your membership there would be no refund towards cancellation of your membership. In view of the large amount you stand to lose, we once again urge you to reconsider your decision to cancel the membership. Should you at any time in future, reconsider your decision, we shall be happy to welcome you back to the Sterling family. In case of any further queries, please do not hesitate to get back to us.                       I had purchased a policy Id. 1220109 on 27/03/2015 from Sterling Holidays Lucknow Branch from their Volkswagen Counter Gwalior under certain Understanding signed between the above mentioned parties (between myself and Sterling Holidays). Due to certain financial constraints I found in the first week of April itself that it is not feasible for me to honour the same.I contacted SH to cancel the same as per the clause 12 which assures 75% refund of admission fee/Down Payment (as per clause 1 and 12 o[censored]nderstating) on cancellation within 11-60 days of cancellation. Following points are noteworthy:1. I filed for cancellation in about 02 weeks’ time where the policy itself has not commenced as well as I have received no confirmation or policy documents from the company.2. The cancellation filed is as per the agreement/understanding signed.3. I was told at the time of signing the same that the policy can be cancelled at any time with refund carrying the amount that has not been used… my policy has not yet started forget the use. Now after three weeks the company has still not come out of their summer hibernation is not answering whether they intend to cancel the policy or what is the decision that they have taken. Early today when I called them they turned me around with one number. When i called the number I was turned around again that Shashank Mishra dealing with my case is out of station. Now what the service a company will provide which a customer has to find out first and then keep reminding and asking about his issues.
                      I am also a member of Sterling holidays since 2012 my experience with Sterling Holidays is very Nice and the Customer Relation department Staff is very Helpful Specially I am thank full to Mr Shashank Mishra Lucknow Branch, we are the member we shoud understand the Situation Because most of the time we take decision in Hurry .

                        Hi,

                        The purpose of this email is to share my experience with you till now, which has not been good at all. Following are my experiences with your organization, Sterlings Group :
                        1. Your sales representative, Gagan & Rishu, sold the membership on False promises and commitments.They informed that the holidays locations are expanding and the resorts will increase by 4 to 5 more, in 5 to 6 months .They also promised me that the service quality in your resorts, will be better than 3 star. None of these promises were met and I am very disappointed (check email dated 26/6/2013 1:12 PM ).
                        2. The service quality of "4 night welcome holiday" in Dharmshaala, was not up to standards .I was dissatisfied with the overall experience of this trip. When I complaint about the above experience, you gave me an excuse that it was because, Dharmshala's property was a leased one and not Sterlings group owned prope(check email from your records )
                        3. After all this, you gave another "4 night Welcome holiday" and this time I decided to go to a place where the property was Sterlings group owned.And I decided for Puri.The Rooms condition was quite disappointing during check-in, But since I had already paid for the rooms, I have to stay there.Otherwise, If I was a normal customer and not a member, I would have never taken those rooms.(see all pic from my feed back mail )
                        Stated the above 3 disappointing and annoying experiences, I am now completely dis-satisfied with your Holiday membership. Of all these experiences, my worst experience was with Ratnakar (in Puri), because of which I have to deal with lot of embarrassment in front of the
                        guests who came with me to Puri. I am sure, Ratnakar has commission with the travel agency and that's why when I hired the taxi for Railway station, personally and not via resort, he threatened the driver not to take us to the railway station and drop us back to the resort.This spoiled my entire trip experience and is now one of the most pathetic and unforgettable experience of my life till
                        now. I am also sure, that its not only Ratnakar, but all the entire resort management is involved in this.Other guests in that resort, have had almost the same kind of experience(Please see the image, which has feedback from other guests).
                        Now, even after complaining and sending emails about my experience (in Puri), I did not receive any apology phone call, neither from your Chennai nor from the Delhi office. Only Mr. Paul called me to know about the incident. Its such a shame, that when it comes to collection of payment, I get calls from all your offices for reminders, but for apology, nobody even bothered to call even once.When ever I complain, I always get the same kind of reply in email.The reply states that my complain has been forwarded to the upper management with the promise that I will not face those issues next time.This drama has been going on for 2 years now and still I see no change and have gone though 3 bad experiences already. I think you will continue to perform like this for the next 25 years and therefore I don't see any point in continuing with your membership.

                        Now take your own decision...that membership is usefull or not

                          Hi, I am Vijayakumar V and my mobile number is [protected]. I booked through Sterling online site for Kodai - Valley resort for 26th and 27th April 2015. I booked a Privilege Suite (Privilege suite was INR 4750 and Classic suite was INR 2750 per nite excluding tax). I have been allocated with a classic room which I complained to the resort people immediately without any response. Also I had complained during checkout also. Now I am not getting any response either from Sterling or the resort people. Both are asking me to contact each other and I am tired of calling both resort and Sterling customer care. Also there is no response for the mail I sent (only I received a automated acknowledgement mail as a response till now).

                            Sterling holidays i am Dr ANEESH with sterling holidays I'd 1218455 and application id of[protected]...it's one kind of cheating company with one of the worst service from the costumer care centre both at chennai and Cochin...their sales people wash off their hands after putting you into this membership...after taking of membership I had asked for cancellation of my membership after 15days of entrollment and they were not ready to pay back the specified refund of downpayment...and even they tried to withdraw with first emi cheque in spite of repeated request for cancellation of membership by mail and phone calls...it's clearly mentioned in the undersigned application that cancellation between 11-60 days deducting 25% cancellation fee remaining full downpayment has to be refunded...I had paid 22193INR as down payment...so there is a real fowl play in this regard and Shivkumar and Manu sales excecutives from Kerala had not helped in this regard and just washed off their hands...it's purely cheating company with curled trained staffs in office to deal with the coustomer service lounge.never opt for their holiday packages .inorder to understand their service quality u should ask for cancellation.then they will make you walk behind them without giving back the specified amount in application form.from January 16th am behind them for cancellation.till now they have not cancelled my application...what is there so much for one month waiting to cancel an application...service is atrocious...

                            Application clearly states that they should refund the 75perc of downpayment...and now they are telling its applicable for people who pays full amount which is not at all mentioned in their application...it shows their other side of coin...service is pathetic...we need to wander around them to just cancel our membership...I have asked for not to refund the downpayment lets them grow with cheating attitude...at least cancel my membership...till now no response...I will never refer or prefer any of my friends or colleagues off family members to take membership in such companies...

                              22/ppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp 22/11/2014 I received a call from sterling holidays that they have organised a session in Hotal Clark in Gorakhpur and they asked me to come with wife.they forced me to buy membership but I refused to buy immediate and say that I want to some time.They started creating pressure on me to buy and say that if you do not want membership, your amount willbe refunded.In last I bought membership by paying a partpayment of Rs.5000 from HDFC BANK debit card.Next day I canceled membership and given a written letter for refund of deposited amount but this amount wouldnot refunded tilldays. Your end kolkata office miss nitya ph no [protected]/[protected] is called yesterday and arrange company offer meeting today and she commit on phone free gift voucher for your resort 2n3days within 6 months free acomodation she will tell these coupon valid peak season not only for off season.but totally wrong my 2 hours time will waste. I am very fed up your commitment and your ccompany aactivities.

                                    Please Help myself Dolly Naqvi, I wanted to complain against Sterling Holiday it’s a clear cut cheating by Sterling Holiday, Sterling Holiday team had kept a seminar in Mira Road in the month of Dec-2013 the team members who had called us for seminar, Vacation plan which they were offering was quite expensive therefore we said no but starting members forcing us to take some or the other plan nothing fitting our budget then they offered us a special Plan for 20 Nights (mail confirmation from Sterling Manager ) where they had told us that it’s a special offer and you don’t have to pay anything else apart from 24000 /- Rs and you will not be a member with sterling holiday you will get a voucher which can be redeem against 24000/- Rs (Which we had paid from our ICICI credit card)it will be a plan just for 20 nights stay Pan India and for formality purpose we will get a call from sterling holiday and you just have to confirm that you are member, they had assured us that it will be a formality call and Plan which they had offered will be no extra charges apart from 2400/-Rs but still they had auto dabit 5500/-Rs aprox from my credit card without any intimation, I spoke to ICICI to stop transaction with Sterling Holiday, (Total Amt paid to sterling 2900/-Rs) now when i tried to contact there office seniors to get my vacation voucher they don’t respond, now it’s been 14 Months I am running pillar to post but nobody seems interested to solve, now I want a HELP from your end to end this issue . Please take serious action against these people so that they cannot cheat any other . Regards Dolly Naqvi

                                      Dear All, ' I have made request for cancellation because of your representatives not followed her commitments which is given by her while enrolling for this membership. Name of her Miss Sonali Sarkar, assisted to her by Miss Geeta Bali. While paying of Down payment she asked to me to pay 4 more EMI so that i can avail 4 night holiday from Sterling also committed to give free food vouchers for the holiday.So i paid total 35000 on that day. When i went to Holiday at Kodai by lake, i come to know that there is no booking made by Sonali or Pune branch, so i called Pune branch and then they booked me a resort that time i have to wait for 2 hours, but i already mail to miss Sonali sarkar about my holiday plan on 31 31 Dec only. She didn't reply on mail but called me & assured that you will get that you may proceed for a holiday, with her confirmation i have cancelled my other hotel booking because she committed me so. While having holiday i was taking continuous follow up from Miss SOnali Sarkar, but she switched off her cell so tried on Miss Geeta Mali's Number so she sent me mesage on 9 Jan that your all booking is done just talk with manager, but when i went hotel there is no booking was made which is made after by Pune Team. I paid whole money because i don't want any trouble on my Honeymoon, but i got lots of trouble, so i request to you kindly refund my money. I mail above to sterling but still there is no actions on those employee also still not giving my money.

                                        In the month of December 21, sunday, I received a call from sterling holiday that they have organized a session at daman and they asked me to come with wife During session They forced me to buy membership but I refused to buy immediate, but then they started creating pressure on me and froced me to buy, and in last I bought membership by paying approx 22000 from hdfc credit card. While paying fee I confirmed multiple times that I will cancel membership if my parents dont agree I called him for more then 20times but he did not respoded me Hence I have decided to comaplin against sterling holidays for not reverting me, delay in refund. and mentally harracing me please help to get my refund
