I HAD ON 27nth September 2016 sent a mail to Sterling holidays to cancell my membership no.1225980 .Sterling ack. no.is 02281800.though I was assured that I will be contacted by someone within 02 working days, no body has done that.I TRIED CUSTOMER CARE AND OTHER OPTIONS. no response. Its clear this organisation is fooling people.I being a retired defense officer have taken it as a chalange to expose them. pls help me

No, I had requested for cancellatipn of my membership, which has not yet happened.I have been getting routine mails with false promises however the core issue is yet to be resolved.Sterling holidays are indulging in delay tactics / buying time hoping like hell that I may change my mind.

      On 17th Sept, 2016, i had shown interest in taking Sterling Membership (Application number:[protected] and have also paid 35% of the Total membership fee i.e Rs. 1, 06, 362 (30, 236 + 76, 056). I understand my membership code has also not been generated as yet. Hence, due to some personal circumstances, request you to Cancel my membership request and process the refund. As i understand from Company's policy document any cancellation of membership within 10 days from the date of DP relaization 100% of the amount will be refunded. Please treat my decision as final and process my refund.I have not been contacted by any executive and 2 days have already elapsed. Infact, I have also tried to contact the Customer acquisition Manager Anurag Sharma, but he is not accepting calls. As I had already informed, please treat my decision of cancellation of membership as final and process my refund immediately. Thanks.

        I filed a complain on September 02, 2016 and since then Sterling has not been even responding to my emails. I have been sending emails to them every single day but they are not responding.
        I have also been calling their toll free number and they ask me to call the local branch, when I call the local branch I am being told that I need to call on the toll free number.
        One day they say that my refund of INR 105826 has been processed and the other day they say that it has not been processed and they don't even know when will it be processed.
        Somebody from the media, newspaper, news channel please contact me as I need to get these people on news paper for such a fraud.
        Can someone please help me in filing a complaint in the consumer court against this fraud company that is not even refunding my INR 105826.00

          I have already filed a complaint against Sterling regarding my refund but nobody has contacted me even after 10 days.
          Every time I call Sterling they are telling me that that refund will only happen after 3 months and not before that.
          Who will pay the interest for these 3 months??
          Can someone please call me at [protected] and help me in taking a strict action against Sterling holidays so that I can get a refund.
          Their sales representatives are even threatening me that they will not take any action on my request and will stop answering my calls.

            Hi,
            I have already logged a complaint against sterling that i need a refund of the full amount. Its been 5-7 days that i raised the initial complain.
            I have been calling sterling every single day to check the status but they are still saying that the refund process will take 60-90 days.
            My question is who will pay the credit card emi and interest for these 90 days? When i am not wrong and the information given to me was misleading and misguiding when can they not refund the money back in my credit card account.
            Can someone please assist me in filing a court case against sterling holidays.
            I am sick of calling them everyday and they don't seem to be serious enough to refund the money.

              Even after my 2 days of discussion with the sales executives Kunal Kumar and his supervisor, there is no result.
              I need a full refund ASAP in my bank account.
              I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I WILL GET THE REFUND IN 45-90 DAYS... WHO WILL PAY THE EMI'S FOR THESE 90 DAYS???
              I WILL NOT PAY EVEN A SINGLE RUPEE BECAUSE OF FALSE COMMITTMENTS BEING MADE BY STERLING.
              I need a full refund in my Credit Card ASAP else I will post this on Sterling's social media pages and will also go to the Consumer Court.

              I was committed the below mentioned things with Sterling Membership:
              25 Years of Sterling Membership
              25 Years of Free RCI Membership
              Around INR 8000 for both the memberships annually
              14 Free international nights with RCI
              10 Free domestic nights with Sterling
              INR 5000 food vouchers
              INR 7000 HDFC Debit Gift Card
              Today on the welcome call I got to know that I have to pay additionally around INR 8000 for RCI membership annually.
              I was never told about this as everything was discussed with me and my wife and both o[censored]s never heard anything about RCI membership fees. It was committed free for 25 years.
              I don't want to proceed with this membership and I want the entire amount of INR 105826 to be refunded back to my Credit Card Account ASAP.

                  I applied for your holiday membership and a number was allotted[protected]. Immediately. I have cancelled the membership and duly informed through mail and phone. No service accorded or kit was issued to me.
                  Even after my repeated requests you didnt even mind to respond or to to pay back the money i have remitted. As requested i have contacted the trivandrum branch.. He says he cant help and asked to contact kochi office. They also turn down the request saying it is from chennai office. With great dismay i have to inform you this is cheating. Not even the receipt was not accorded to me. For about five months i am repeating the same business. Please suggest how to reimburse the money that i have paid.

                    This is regarding the cancellation and full refund of our sterling membership no:1224730. Please refer to the recent telephonic conversation my daughter fareeda salam had with your sales executive mr. Seby toms on 24.06.2016 and 25.06 2016 and also the trailing emails below and to the previous telephonic conversations we have had with mr. Seby toms and mr. Sivakumar.

                    1. We have been verbally assured by mr seby toms on the telephonic conversation dated 25.06.2016 that our full refund of membership amount paid, has been initiated and the refund amount will be credited to our bank account by july 15th, 2016. As per his instructions, below are our bank account details.

                    2. The following is our bank account detail:

                    Kindly deposit the amount of rs.2, 37, 032. (Rupees two lakh thirty seven thousand and thirty two only) to the above account number.

                    Please note that we had initiated the request for refund since january 2016. Unfortunately the response from your side has been dismal. As a doctor and a member of sterling for many years now i have always been happy with the sterling hospitality and goodwill. I hope that sterling will live up to its reputation of high standards and enduring commitment to its members. Kindly look into the matter urgently as we have been requesting and making repeated phone calls. Other than verbal assurances we have not seen any solid action from your side. This has affected our trust in sterling adversely, a trust that has taken years to build. I sincerely hope that our matter will be resolved at the earliest and we can continue to take this mutually beneficial relationship forward in an amicable manner. I hope to hear from you at least by this coming wednesday (28.06.2016). Please refer the trailing mails for further clarifications. Please feel free to contact me in this regard if you have any doubts or require further clarifications in this regard.                       I purchased my membership in end of january and after that i am not able to pay more so i requested to cancel my membership in fab. To mr. Sagar bhandari, he promised that all amount refunded but still not coming they just doing promise just not giving back. They said me that you cant get because there is no rule to give back in month. What is this?

                      no they are saying we cant give as per rules but in company and his employ is doing fraud with me. his employ should tell me that you should do like this. why he spent time that is not my fault why i have to suffer because of this kind of employ

                        I have been a blue studio member and when i try to book a room in the same blue period, i get a reply that rooms are not available. At the same time i was shocked to see that rooms are available for sale to outsiders on make my trip and other websites at the same resorts in which i was not given a room.

                        After having paid lakhs as upfront membership fee, we get only rejection mails and offers to shift to sub-standard hotels. This is highly unethical and illegal practice from sterling. I would take this legally.

                        Suggest not to become members in this.

                          With ref. To my conference call today with your mr. Vishal of ahmadabad office & mr. Rameshwar of mumbai office i am raising this formal written request at [protected]@sterlingholidays.com for cancellation of vacation my membership as directed by them.

                          As promised while closing the deal, i was promised to get my all membership related documents within a week time, but till date i have received nothing, except false hope, i was repeatedly asking my membership data / pakka receipt / contract / certificate etc. On hard copy, and made tiresome repeated frequent calls at your chennai, mumbai, surat and ahmadabad offices, as well to sales rep. Mr. Rameshwar, and in response to that, i got email dated: 8 dec 2015, attached with useless ekit (Which is totally faulty, as it showing "zero down payment"), after paying handsome down payment of rs: 38, 461/on 10th, november 2015 by credit card, and remaining rs: 83, 420/on 15th, november 15 totaling : rs : 1, 21, 881/ =

                          Seeing that i asked to attend and rectify the issue or else make cancellation of my membership, which i was asking since last 2 weeks, due to that negligence and non professional attitude of your company, i and my family got very disturbed and even spoiled pre approved leaves from our respective professions, and completely vested our whole last week, which was planned for holidays.

                          Apart from that, there is no membership login id facility on your website, which was shown by your sales rep. While demonstration, even after that there are lot of cost related inadequacies in written (Ekit) and verbal explanation of the vacation membership package, which are undisclosed by your sales rep. Mr. Rameshwar from mumbai office, while closing the deal.

                          Looking to above situation, pls. Cancel my membership with immediate effect, and return my whole amount of rs.1, 21, 881/ = within a week, or else 18% interest will be charged.

                            About six months back their sales manager ashish sharma visited my home and after lot of pestering and pep talk he gave me false promises and used my credit cards to making payments. i got fooled and misled by him and i paid rs 82000/-. since then this man is absconding, he has discontinued his mobile number [protected]. therefore i have registered my complained and i have asked for refund. to get the refund i have called so many time to their thane branch as well as their call center but no result at all.

                            I request you to publicize and spin this story and also confront them for this fraud. this is the only hope that this will reach their ceo or md and i will get refund.

                              Respected sir,
                              We want to complaint against company and specially two persons named mr lucky verma and mr. Gagan ghai who are company"s representatives. They misguided us and after alot of e-mails and phone calls they are not refunding our money even after cancellation of membership. According to company rules we made cancellation with in 20 days. Its going to be one year. Now they are not receiving our calls. Whenever we called them up they either transferred our call to another person or gave us phone numbers of another person of the company
                              We want our full money back with in this month and written sorry note. From both mr. Lucky verma & mr. Gagan ghai. If they dont refund our money back we will make case against them for misguiding people for memberships, cheating public and doing fraud on behalf of company. Thanks.

                                I had invested with sterling holidays for timeshare vide membership no 215502. I had originally invested in sterling tree magnum scheme in 1995 for a sum of rs 21, 300/- for 12 trees and the company was defunct after committing fraud. After several rounds of followup with the concerned officials, one of the officials committed to convert the investment proceeds to a holiday timeshare with an additional payment of rs 10, 000/- which was also done in oct 2003.
                                Thereafter they had been collecting amc charges until 2014 with regular communications.
                                In 2015, i had approached them to avail holidays and the same was initially accepted but denied later saying that the membership is not valid. Despite several rounds to communications with all the staff and the management, they simply refused the holidays and they were not giving any reason in writing but only over telephonic conversations, they were denying the membership.

                                  Seeing that i asked to attend and rectify the issue or else make cancellation of my membership, which i was asking since last 2 weeks, due to that negligence and non professional attitude of your company, i and my family got very disturbed and even spoiled preapproved leaves from our respective professions, and completely vested our whole last week, which was planned for holidays.

Back I Received call from Sterling Holiday Corporate Office - Chennai, and the calling person said that... when you raised the complaint of Refund? ... where as my all above communication with the enough proofs tell all the reality completely, but he has to still confirm with their other offices ... and again he will get back to me...!!!

                                  I am also having the same problem. I have paid 20, 000 Rs and since last 15 days haven;t got any revert from Sterling team about the refund. All their mail and call replies state that they will get back in 2 days, but then after there is no revert.. I am thinking of raising a case in consumer court.                                   Horrible response from fern hill resorts. 2nd time we are facing same problem. More over they do not value members. It is like loss of investment. No detail will be updated to members . We need to beg them after paying our money. It seem this company is looting people . Eye wash company.

                                  I need change in my relationship manager, no support. Many time i have changed my plans because of no rooms.

                                  If possible pay back our money we do not want to continue any more.
                                  Sterling holidays is making fool of innocent people and have looted money of lot of old age people by making promises. Everyone here should file a complain with all consumer rights related organisation and have this company shut down so that atleast other people save there hard earned money.

                                    Here i am sangeeta pokharkar, i have taken membership, on 12/03/2016 if you join by taking instant decision today then you will be able to get special package commitment given by your representative. and if you will find any problem within 10days then you can leave by getting 100% refund within 10days. but i applied for cancellation on (19/04/2016) at same place and still today i didn't get my money. i have joined on the base and surety of his officer to cancel the membership within week and i will get the refund same time but now they say that it is not in our hand, it will be done by account dept.
                                    Also after telling by your representative (mr kishor nimbolkar) that you accept welcome call then i will transfer your membership to another member
                                    I am disappoint with your service because i have not get
                                    Proper response from your team.
