A representative (Akash) came to my house early August with a Sterling India membership. He promised many things including free RCI membership with two years validity and a minimal payment of 3000 for renewing the validity for 5 years. He also mentioned about the multiple 5 star properties that the hotel has and some 50 resorts that are operational. I made the advance payment of 20,000. He also committed that incase you do not like the membership you can cancel it within 10 days and your entire amount will be refunded.
Next day when I researched about properties, I realized they just have one property, which is a five star, and all others are three star to four star. In addition, the RCI renewal was completely wrong. I emailed them the same day to cancel my membership and process my refund. The representative called me saying that he had booked my membership in some group discount and it cannot be cancelled. After he realized that I would not entertain this stupidity, he said fine I would cancel it. Later after multiple complaints, we realized that the membership was not canceled. When one calls their customer care number (based in Chennai), after holding the phone, for anywhere between 15 to 20 min they answer that it is the Mumbai branch responsible for this and we have no information. Meanwhile when we were chasing this person, he bluntly told my wife “Do whatever you want you will not get a penny back”. I had no option but to visit their Mumbai office. A person named Mahipal gave us in writing that we will receive the money in 60 working days. So money blocked for 60 working days. After not receiving the refund in the next 60 working days, I started chasing them again in November when I realized that Mahipal was out on a leave for 3 months and there is no back up. After multiple phone calls and they finally told me, it was processed and will reach you in 7 working days. Even today, I have not received it. Mumbai branch says it with head office and head office says there is no information from the Mumbai Branch. I have spent a bomb on my STD bill and plus not sure when I will receive the money.

My issue was resolved after 4 months and around 100 calls to your Mumbai and Chennai office. Also I must have drafted around 10 emails and finally when I threatened to take Police action. It could have been resolved long back. But you remain a unethical organization with no respect for your customers. Just try calling your Mumbai office and see if you get through anyone in the first attempt. I lost interest for 4 months and must have spend a bomb amount on these calls and invested a lot of time in mails.
Whoever is reading this, I would advice do not buy anything from Sterling Holidays. I have written my story above and you can very well make out from the responses on how much they care for their customers. There are many Holiday membership available for similar prices with much better customer service and better hotel properties. If you still wish to stay in Sterling Hotels just seach on OLX and other websites there are people ready to rent Sterling Hotel rooms for less than 1.5 thousand as against 3.5k for Mahindra. So do not fall in trap, else you will take ages to get your refund like I did.
I agree with you Mr Shinde. Sterling Holidays are filled with fraudsters and do not care for their customers. I had to threaten to lodge a police complaint against them to get the refund.

My membership no is 1208689. Your representative Akash contacted me for membership in December 2012 and told about the plan and offers. I agreed and deposited the downpayment. He said that membership will be finalised after receiving the call from Chennai office . He also told that during discussion with Chennai office if any difference is found (whatever told by him i.e Akash ) then you can refuse for membership and your downpayment will be refunded.
As Chennai office stated stated entire different condition and therefore I wrote him on 28th december that I don't accept the membership and you return my money.
Till then i.e 28th dec i am continuously following up your Mumbai branch and customer care. One Namrata Shirke from Mumbai office told that my membership has been processed for cancellation and no EMI will be withdrawn.EMI was not withdrawn in march.
But on 9th April again EMI of Rs 15176 has been withdrawn and my declaration form was also forged by Sterling.
Unfortunate to be the part of you organisation.Hope you will reply and resolve my issue at the earliest.
Sterling people have no ethics to behave with customers. I am been chasing with sterling people for 1 year and i am not getting my refund back. Sales Guy (Kailash) has given us all false information, promises and took money from us and no good service is been provided till date. I had also told him to stop my ECS account, he informed me that he has sent a mail to the team to stop ECS account, but then too for nearly 3 - 4 months my money was withdrawn from my account, this is really cheap and not at all acceptable from sales guy. Then the senior person visited my place and we explained to him all our problems and concerns that we faced with Sales person (Kailash) and we wanted our refund back. Till date we haven't received our refund back.

I went to hundai showroom for enquiry about car price.. after some day i go a message if i ll book the car on 24th or 25th december i ll get 20000 sterling holiday package free. when i reached at 2th i met a person named kaushik who was selling the sterling membership . I booked the memebrship that after he forced so much. but after 15 day i realised that i have invested my money in wrong place. and aclled kaushik told please cancell my membership. then suddenly he told mam please dont do that.. i said i dont want then after reading the document for cancellation procedure i send mail to sterling to cancellation of my membership.Koushik told that mam till now nobody cancel the membership. I said please check in google how many memebr cancell apply for membrship and complined in consumer court. when called banglore branch people they told, they will not return money..they told why you are calling here. call kaushik who sold membership to you. give him to police do what ever you want against him.. they i called hundia show room customer care service manager and told all the complined. she sharted follow the sterling manager mr santosh.. as per mr santosh they will return all money except processing charge. But nobody contacted me till now.. now kaushil also not recieving calls. branch manager is telling we ll not return your money..they are asking me to get approval from mr santosh for cancellation. after consulting with hundaishow room customer care maager ..when she called also mr santosh not recieving any call.. i got fed off now..still my membership is not cancelled..please helip.

It seems that dissatisfied customers are more with Sterling Holidays. They are handling customer grievances in a very unprofessionally.

Myself S Vishwanathan having a Member ship ID 1210376 has requested several times to their chennai office for cancellation of membership.
Also sent mail at [protected]@sterlingholidays.com. So far no response received.

I have paid a sum of Rs. 24255 (as down payment) Rs. 6412 as monthly instalements (for 5 months) total amounting to Rs. 56, 315.00.

Now that I am worried whether I will get the re-fund or not. Even local representative in Mumbai, Mr. Akhilesh Singh has also left the job.

Can any one help me.

It is a foolish offer given by these time share holiday, whatever it be.

1.in total they have 100 rooms and 100, 000 custmers ans still they keep on adding new customers...whea ever we make a booking they will say it is not available. We have to plan our holiday as per room availaility not as per our requirements.
2.The offer by them is if we pay 3 Lakh in advance they will give 10 days hodilay (based on worst seasone point requirements) for 25 years...is it worth.?? Also approximate 7000 INR per year is required for maintaining it. After all this we wait for room too...they are making us fool. If deposite (10%) interest, annually we will have 30000+7000 (annual fee), for 40, 000 INR you will have a wonderful staying at anywhere you want at any time you need.after 25 years you amount that deposite also you will get back. If you miss a year you can enjoy your vacation for 80, 000 INR in the next year.

So plz workout before you fell in trap with website, rep and offers...!!!

I am also one of the victim of the Sterling holidays . Same as you all are suffered. I am continuously writing them/ Calling them at Mumbai & Chennai office. but they are refusing to pay my Refund of membership fees of Rs. 25000/-

Sterling Holiday is a cheater company. Pls don't buy any package. They explained something regarding holiday packages & when you come to know actual fact that you were cheated. They will not refund money.
Don't know how govt has left them to cheat people & every day they are making customer & cheating them.
We all have to take steps to ban this company & also should ask to punish merchants though whom they contacted us.
hi I just join yesterday but now I wanna cancel my membership so do I gt refund back? I paid 19k so please help me
Applied and paid 80% for a resort in 1996 - = 80, 000
No Resort till 2012... 16 years Value of 80, 000 @ 18% (going rate in 1996) = 16 lakh
Resort built will not provide accomodation - pay rs 20, 000
I say pay rs 16 Lakh No response
Now 2018 16 Lakh is 24 lakh and still pay rs 20, 000 to get a week of hotel use ..

Interest on 24 lakh in savings account @ 4% = 96, 000

Can i get a good room for 96, 000 for one week ...

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE CHEAT YOU OFF YOUR MONEY...

    I was mis-sold a holiday package from STERLING HOLIDAYS in MAY' 2012. Since I forecasted a financial at the time of signing up, I proactively asked what will be the options if I have a financial situation unexpectedly. The sales person told me that I can get a refund of all payments made or I can downgrade, since I am signing up for a highest package.
    When I contact STERLING HOLIDAYS - ANDHERI MUMBAI & CHENNAI by phone calls, they told they have any options of downgrade in their terms & conditions. after I told them about the mis-selling, they further added that all payments I have paid till date i.e. 60,000/- nothing will be refunded.
    I have contacted the ANDHERI MUMBAI & CHENNAI OFFICES by letters and emails, post which I got a response on 25th Sept that I will be contacted on / before 3 working days from that day. After that I have made numerous phone calls & sent many letters, but no one is getting back to me. The customer care helpline @ CHENNAI tells me that the matter is looked by the BRANCH OFFICE - ANDHERI, MUMBAI & the BRANCH OFFICE tells me that the CHENNAI OFFICE is looking into the matter. After 25th Sept' 12, I havent received any update / acknowkledgement / update to my complaint of mis-selling.
    Out of no options left, I will be seeking legal guidance & actions now.

    Respected Sir / Madam,
    Even after my repeated requests, I havent got any update from your organisation after the one received as a email acknowledgement about my concern & complaint, dated 25th Sept' 12. Shockingly, you have gone ahead & attempted to debit my bank account on the 14th Oct'12 even though I have made repeated communications with confirmations via email & registered post in Sept' 12, to not debit my bank account.


    I had a call from Mahipal Yadav last FRIDAY 2nd Nov' 12 who claimed to be in your "disputes team". After a detailed discussion & he promising he would send me a email in 24 hours about my refund, I haven received any update by email or a phone call till today - FRIDAY 9th Nov' 12. Moreover, when I tried repeatedly calling the number he phoned me from i.e. +91 [protected] the number isnt answered. Again a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT FROM YOUR COMPANY! !


    This hence a last reminder & request to help me resolve my pending matter by refunding my payments back. Failing to which, I will have no further options but to pursue this matter ahead.

      Hi,
      Back in 1997, my parents became a member of Sterling Holiday Resorts and paid Rs 38K for a holiday plan for 99 years.
      Then this Sterling tree Magnum fraud happened(where also we invested 80K) and we stopped receiving all communication from Sterling companies.
      In 2008, we received a letter from Sterling Holidays that they are operational and they are charging an amenities fee since 1999 due to which we have outstanding dues of 13K. So my parents ignored the huge amount they are charging.
      A week back I called Sterling Holidays asking that I want to continue with the plan and as we did not avail any vacation all these year, so kindly reverse the charges and I will continue paying the amenity fee from now onwards as will avail the vacation. And they said they can't.
      Now I request to refund the money back to my parents for the plan they had taken in '97 . Or they reverse the outstanding amount and we can continue with this plan.

      I am facing te similar issue. Even my parents bought the membership and didnt use it at all. now i want to use it however there are 13K pending ameneties charges pending for last 10 years when we didnt use the membership.
      I would really like to start paying the fees from now on and avail the membership but would not like to pay for the time when it wasnt used. I even spoke to the customer care team today for 35 - 45 minutes but there was nothing that they could do.

        I had take the membership with a clear condition of planing my trip for coming month and was assured and agreed upon ever condition of mine by their representative but that was all till my down payment was done
        The executive Mr. Aniruddh has made fake promises and after complaining to him he has gone down to the extent of saying do what ever u can do and don’t call me. Also Mr. Parmindar under whose supervision the deal was done has stopped responding to my calls and when I contact him from other numbers he makes some excuse and hangs up. The last reply I got from him was he is no more responsible and I should directly deal with the company
        More over I was assured by them both that the EMI will be deducted only if I agree to go ahead, I was reluctant to sing on the EMI acknowledgment form because I wanted some assurance first and I didn’t want any more payment from that card but they said it’s just a formality to speed up the process and also i have been mailing from May that I don’t want to continue the membership as I was cheated but still Two EMI’s were deducted from my card. I came to know when the second one got deducted as I was out of country when the first one got debited
        I have been in continuous contact with [protected]@sterlingholidays.com/[protected]@sterlingholidays.com and have called several times on their customer care number but my problem has not been resolved more over no one from your side has even bothered to contact. I have narrated this so many times on the phone and mail and every time I am assured someone from the Mumbai office will contact but there is no response from any responsible personnel of sterling

        I got a call from them, saying i should attend their seminar and if i dont like the product i can walk away with 4 movie tickets and holiday voucher. The executive gave us 90 minutes of some boring lecture and coxing us to signup in their fradulent holiday scheme where by if we sign today the price is 1,25,000 and if we come next day then price will be Rs 1,70,000. We did not buy their product and decided to leave, and the company executives started getting edgy because no one was buying their fradulent scheme. They did not give us movie tickets and they are still calling hundreds of people everyday and wasting their precious time with false promises.

          My self Mayuresh Kulkarni offered holiday package (Blue Season ) on 16th July 2012 at cost of Rs.154000/- was explained by Mr. Amit Karmarakar and his teammates ( Manager – Mr. DEEPAK ) . Insisted to take the holiday on same date you will get the RCL membership free , this is only one day offer . But when I saw the website , the same membership is always there for all member .

          Also the RCL member ship is avilible for RED Season only. this information not given at the time of booking.

          Also I had visited to Lonawala property on 19th July 2012 , Mayur Sterling resort. This property not only star rated but also not having basic facilities . At the time of booking Mr. Amit Explained about Mayur Properties is 4 star rated .

          This is a example of sterling holidays.same thing will happen in future also.

          I don’t want to continue with Sterling Holiday plan ( Blue season ) . Demanded to return the money , Mr. Amit and Mr. Deepak telling me that they will not return the maount but they will give me the holiday package of worth 23000/-

          later on i send cancellation letter to [protected]@sterlingholiday.com mail ID , Received the message to give the Membaership ID . so i contacted and repeatedly follow-up with both , till date they are not abel to give the Membership ID no .

          i don'y know how to handly this issue.

            Dear Sir / Madam,
            I request you to kindly through the events I have been passing throgh

            • We were contacted by STERLING HOLIDAYS on 29th Feb 2012 which was the last day of certain offer and we took the membership on the same
            day at around 2200 / 2300 hrs through Mr. Prabal Saxena
            • Our cheque (768201) of Rs 7934/- to Sterling holidays was cleared on 2nd Mar 2012
            • Our cheque (768202) of Rs 2985/- to Sterling holidays was cleared on 20th Mar 2012
            • We received the WELCOME CALL probably on 16th March 2012, where we came to know about so many other things which
            were not told to us by the executive at the time of enrolling.
            • Since then we tried to contact at all their telephone numbers at Chennai as well as in Mumbai as shown in their webbsite and Mr.Prabal Sexena.
            We were kept on hold for long time at Chhenai number and the Mumbai numbers were either wrong or invalid.
            • Mr. Prabal Saxena also did not pick our call and used to disconnect and keep his phone in switched off mode. So we had no option to contact the
            Sterling except keep on calling Mr. Prabal Sexena so as to clear the facts.
            • Finally, since 16th March 2012 we were able to contact Mr. Prabal Saxena on 25th Mar 2012 (again delay from their end) where he promised to
            meet us soon which he never did.
            • Again from 26th March 2012 till 1st April 2012 we kept on calling him. He finally sent another executive Mr. Satish Pujari at our residence who
            cleared all our doubts. We then decided to cancel our membereship
            • On 2nd 2012 April an e-mail was sent to Sterling Holiday regrding our confirmation about cancelling the membership.
            • Since there was no response till a week, another reminder was sent to you on 9th April 2012 on their feedback mail id.
            • Again there was no response. So my wife went to the Mumbai office at Vile Parle and explained each and everything there. The customer
            executive there informed us that non of their land line number given on the web site were working also the id "[protected]@sterlingholidays.com" was
            not responding. He then told us to contact on [protected]@sterlingholidays.com, so my wife intimated on the same and we receive an autogenerated
            response with an id
            • Then finally we received an e-mail on 14th April 2012 asking us to re-conside rour decision of withdrawing it
            • Our last communication through e-mail was on 18th April 2012 where we have clearly mentioned that we would go ahead in cancelling our
            membership
            • Since then we have been waiting for our money to be refunded back
            • When we again visited Mumbai office at Vile Parle on 12th May 2012, we learnt that our refund has been kept on hold about which we
            were neither intimated nor informed by any of their executive.
            • We were told there to again re-consider it, to which I have alredy replied through mail dated 18th April. if that was the case, why nobody from
            STERLING contacted us? Why should we contact them all the time or we visit your centre?
            • so if you see there was negligence in responding from your side everytime and there was negligence in communicating with us whenever it was
            required. And this is the reason why we want to cancel our membership from STERLING HOLIDAYS.

            THE ABOVE MENTIONED MAIL WAS SENT BY ME TO "STERLING HOLIDAY" ON 17th MAY 2012

            After this there was no response from Sterling Holiday.
            Then I gave them a call on around 5th or 6th June 2012 and I received a mail on 6th Jun 2012 stating :

            "Dear Mr. Senapati,

            Greetings from Sterling Holidays!

            This is regarding your membership cancelation request that we have received on 03/04/2012. We have tried to contact you on your mobile number today on 4.45pm but it was ringing.
            As per T&C you are eligible for 75% refund of your paid amount that will reach you at your registered address with us.

            Warm Regards,
            Mahipal Yadav
            Sr. Executive, Customer Relations
            Sterling Holidays Resorts India Limited"

            If see the above mail carefully, they have not mentioned that within how much time we will get the refund. And they will be retaining 25% of money as there is policy which states that " 100% will be refunded only if canncellation is requested within 10 days of enrollment, and the money will be refunded within 30 days" In my case the request has been for more than 150 days has passed and I have not got the refund yet.

            My final conversation with Sterling Holiday was on 17th July 2012 at Chennai office on phone with Mr. Gouse Senior Executive where I learnt that my account was still "ACTIVE". Then immediately I contacted Mr. Vinay, Head Executive at Mumbai. He said that I will be getting the refund 21st July 2012

            I am stiil wating for the refund to get.

            I humbly request you to kindly help me in getting the refund.

              Specifically I'm writing ur name becoz we had brief discussion on Friday evening. right?
              now i got the vouchers by courier
              but no diamond gift voucher is there. See i called at ur custemor care no.some imran is there.i said see i ve only these vouchers.then he said its my mistake that talking with u i va to say what i want?
              again same tone of language and all
              Then i said just check my complaint.he said his desktop is noit working.Simple sense go to otherrs but no he said he cannt.i said can i again has ti complaint.he said yes as u wish. Wow sbest travel company of india.good proof
              So i suggest everyone dont just give response to their any activity
              So what to do now?

                Sterling and employees are incorrigible. After confirming the booking after so much of shout . Now they come up with new demands of payment inspite of all dues paid upto 2012. It looks they have mastered the art of torturing customers or checking patience of its customers. I am unable to find right words. Only advise to others is that never buy a timeshare, better to pay for Hotel.

                  dear freinds,
                  please dont be member of sterling holidays...it has been worst experience i ever had.there are lots of cockroaches,insects on our beds. no a/cs working,no remote of television .after that worst thing was that we complain ti their higher authority ,but no response from them.we also contact manager of sterling holidays (mr.rajeevkumar) but neither he pick up our calls nor reply via email.he was very rude.
                  we want to become a member of sterling holidays ,but now i dont want to be.

                  They are fraud company.
                  I was mis-sold a package by a sales person of STERLING HOLIDAYS, I specifically asked him if I have a finacial situation can I downgrade ? he told me "yes" but only after 4 EMIs. When I contacted STERLING HOLIDAYS in the mid of Sept' 2012, they told me that they dont have option of downgrading their packages but only "UPGRADES".
                  I honestly told them that my 4 EMIs are over & I have a financial situation & hence requested them to downgrade. They refused the same & to add to it they told me that if I cancel my membership, all the money I have paid so far - 60, 000/- as per their policy they will not refund.
                  After repeated emails & letters, they havent got back to me. Only 1 response I received on 25th Sept' 12 where they told me they will get back on / before 3 working days. Its is more then 3 weeks now & no acknowledgement / response to my mis-selling complaint put forth.
                  I will be moving this matter to the consumer court, out of no options left.

                    Hi,

                    I stayed at Sterling's Valley View resort. I checked in on 5th of February and checked out on 6th of February. My total bill was 1703 Rs. which I payed through my RBS debit card. However, when I came back home and checked my account statement, the amount had been deducted twice from my card. I tried calling Sterling Holidays customer care and the resort itself but no positive response has been received yet from their side. Kindly help me regarding the same.

                      my name is Ronak Shah from mumbai have booked 3 rooms at ur hotel from 26th jan 2012 to 29th jan 2012 check out along with my friends.
                      from day one we had problems in our rooms
                      1 A/C NOT WORKING IN ONE ROOM WHOLE DAY
                      2 NO A/C AND TV REMOTES.
                      3 NO PROPER LIGHTS IN OUR ROOMS
                      4 DOOR WAS LOCKED FROM OUTSIDE.
                      5 LOTS OF CROCKROACH WERE THERE ON BED.
                      6 BED WAS NOT PROPER.
                      7 DIRTY SMELL IN ROOMS DURING OUR WHOLE STAY.
                      8 LOCKS OF WINDOWS WAS NOT THEIR AND WAS NOT PROPER.

                      AFTER TELLING TO STAFF MANY TIMES SOME ISSUE WERE NOT SOLVED.I WILL NOT GIVE UR REFERENCE TO ANY ONE.IT WAS HORRIBLE STAY AT UR HOTEL.
                      Mr Rajiv - Manager - Central Reservations WHO HAD DONE OUR BOOKING WAS NOT PICKING UP OUR CALL
                      FOR SEVERAL DAYS ,THEN HE SWITCHED OFF HIS CELL.WE ALSO TRIED TO PLACE COMPLAINT AT THEIR HELPLINE NUMBER STILL NO RESPONCE FROM THEIR SIDE.PLEASE DONT BECOME MEMBER OF STERLING RESORTS. ITS PATHETIC .

                      these (sterling) people speak soft but over all their only intentions to cheat as they have now started
                      sailing in the form o[censored]nits without constructing any new property and to fool people they are just
                      adding leased property and we all know lease can be revoked
                      one thing is very good about these people that they know very well that individual can not fight and there for
                      they are doing any thing and every thing
                      unless a good team of advocate in few metros come forward and fight unitedly nothing will happen
                      god bless us ( all old time share members and new members holding units needs more blessings)
                      even i am also trying to withdraw my membership since march'12 and to get my refund
                      these people only lie and cheat people
                      i appeal to every individual, not to take their membership

                        I had bad experience when my wife was called by sterling holidays saying that we have won lucky coupon for Seven Nights and Eight days free stay all we have to is just collect voucher, later they called up again saying that we have sit there for atleast 45 mins enalbing them to share their product and later we can collect the voucher, once we reached there we were asked whether we want to listen the holiday package and we said fine lets listen to it, later we were forced to buy or else we dont get any coupon for holidays.. how insulting is that..

                        it was not just in thousands.. they asked me to pay about 1 and half lacs with down payment of 15% bal emi within today.

                        JUST NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT STERLING HOLIDAYS IS FOOLING AROUND PEOPLE.

                          i had paid rs.10000/- for sterling holiday and resorts p.ltd by credit card as per the commitment given by them for a vacatation. as per the commitment they had not fulll fill.

                          i asked so many times for my payment of rs.10000/-. they are not giving me back eventhough they had not given me a receipt for the same.

                          Once they have taken money they are not responding my email also. i called so many times at call centre at chennai no one is picking up the phone. even i called at mumbai office they are not giving me a proper reply.

                              We are travel agent in mumbai - balaji tours.

                              We booked 2 groups rooms for our customers with sterling resort - darjeeling as follows:
                              chk in : 24/05/2011
                              chk out: 27/05/2011 - 9 rooms

                              chk in : 25/05/2011
                              chk out: 28/05/2011 - 9 rooms + 9 extra bed.

                              On 23/05/2011 we were told by their sales executive that due to their internal software error they have overbooked their rooms, hence they cannot give us.

                              They provided an alternate lodge against, sterling resort, which were in very bad conditions, and our guest who were jain customers who could not eat outside food, for which we had brought seperate kitchen could not eat along with their children, as there were no facilities to prepare it there.

                              Also we had to send men via flight from mumbai to explain to our guest that this was not our mistake, and had to incur seperate expences regarding the transporation, as it is far away from the main road approx 2 kms.

                                I have purchased two membership for a period of 25 years from 2006,

                                the complaint right now is i have taken a vacation to Kodaikanal Lake View Resort on the day of 4th September 2009 to 6th, i have got the confirmation voucher by mail on my Blackberry Phone (CV No931620), but when i arrived the resort after a long drive from Coimbatore with my family i.e my wife & a kid of 3 years old, by around 1.45 to 2Pm, the front office receptionist lady told me that there is no rooms available, than i called up coimbatore office but they told me that the room is confirmed, but the particular lady doesnt even have the humanity to ask us wheather we need any kind of refreshment in the mean while so that they can co-operate with their office & get me the accomodation, without any hindrence she told me another guy named Chandrasekar is on Lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & he will come after half an hour & then you can get accomodated if required.

                                He came out by 3 & after very much frustration we got accomodated by 3.15

                                They dont even have the courtesy to ask wheather im in need of any help than i asked them i want to meet the RESORT MANAGER, but uptill my checkout i was not able to meet them, i think she must be the MLA of KODAIKANAL, so i might not be able to see her.

                                Even i called up them by phone, contacted by mail, yet uptill this time there is no response.

                                The conclusion is that

                                Dont take membership programme from any Resort like this

                                They are all money oriented people

                                They dont know what is Hospitality & how to behave with customers

                                When u plan for any vacation directly book to resort exept STERLING

                                  I own Timeshare properties of Sterling Holiday Resorts India Ltd for their Mahahabaleshwar, Mussorie and Goa property.The company has till date not constructed properties at few locations like Mahabaleshwar.The company have closed down their goa resort property without informing the Customers.The company is nowhere bothered to reply to customer complaints and provide them service.I would strictly recommend people to not deal with this company.

                                  Just to inform you that the Experience at the STERLING RESORT, YERCAUD was unimaginable.

                                  The Room was full of spiders, cockroaches and other insects ..

                                  The 1st night went in trying keep the insects away and my child got so scared by the Spider Bites and creatures that the 2nd night we had to stay at another hotel. (we checked out on day 3 but stayed for a night only).

                                  If this is what we get from a Resort Then I have no words to express the Trauma we went thru ... the holiday was a disaster thanks to the management of the resort.
