I Jawahar Lal Mehta purchased two teak tree from STM in the year Sept.1994 worth Rs.1450/- each. The Maturity date was Sept.2014 and my application no is G107299 and certificate no is D1382. The company committed after 20 years shall be paid Rs.144000/- But no any reply nor response from Company side. Please any body guide me what I do.

    My family member had taken membership of Sterling Holiday Resorts in 2001. In the last few years only we availed this membership a few times. At the time of taking this membership, we were told that this was a lifetime membership. In our subsequent communications and correspondences with Sterling, we were never indicated otherwise. In fact in 2015 when I spoke to Sterling with relation to planning another vacation at their resorts as a member, the customer associate spoke of how I should use in 2016 some of the unused membership days which had accumulated.
    In Jan 2016 when I called Sterling, to plan a holiday in the coming months, I was most unexpectedly told how my "membership had expired"! When asked to explain what they meant, I was told that my membership was only for 15 years.
    This is in complete contradiction to how this membership was sold to me in 2001 by their sales agent. Never before by phone or mail did they ever mention this being a 15 year membership, it was always a lifetime membership.
    I strongly feel that this sudden curtailment of my membership is very fishy on the part of Sterling Resorts. After reading the numerous consumer complaints against them on this forum and other forums, it appears that Sterling Holiday Resorts indulges in a lot o[censored]nethical practices of cheating. Very very disappointed!
    Can Sterling Resorts sort this issue for me? I will be posting the followup of how or what Sterling does in my case over here as other consumers deserve to be aware of all this. Buyer beware!

    Whatever your followup response in terms of concrete actionoj to my complaint posted here, I will be sure to follow up with a description. If you try and reach an amicable resolution to the above posted issue with Sterling, that I now face, I will certainly let consumers here know about that.

    If on the other hand, Sterling does not try and make any amends to my grievance, that shall be reported here as well since consumers out there surely deserve to know!

      My mother and father received a call from the sterling holidays offering a 2days free stay at resort and asked to attend a meeting at hotel. In the meeting the tried to convince us by offering membership. They kept offering us packages at declining rates and at last we were fooled by them and the managed to give us 25 years membership. We paid a down payment of Rs.27, 000 aprox through debit card. Later next day we realised that the offer seems to be fishy and when we went to the executive for a refund of the down payment as according to clause we would get it within 10 days. But they refused to give us refund and said that you were customer under special offer and refund of down payment is not applicable for special offer customers. I would be now going to the consumer forum to seek my refund. So guyz please be aware and don't fall to the fraudsters

      After requesting for refund on the consumer complaints website, the company person called us asking the reason why we want back the refund. When we answered them they said that it will be done shortly. Within 15 days, we got back our refund of down payment amounting to Rs.27, 105. The company has a good after sales service. And also the company executive attended us in very good manner, and helped us to get back the refund. The company is trustworthy and also the employees too.

          As a Sterling resort member from past 15years i would like to share my experience with people who might be planning to buy a new membership with STERLING HOLIDAY RESORTS. We are a regular traveller but everytime we plan our holidays we need to beg sterling to confirm our bookings. Whether its a peak season or OFF season sterling executive will give its members only one answer SORRY SIR ALL ROOMS ARE FULL ON THE PREFERRED HOLIDAYS THAT TOO CALLING THEM BEFORE A WEEK OF CHECK IN DATE. AND ASK TO CALL BACK LATER IF YOU CALL THEM AGAIN STILL SAME ANSWER ITS LIKE THEY ARE SAYING YOU ARE A FOOOOLLLLL FOR OWNING A MEMBERSHIP. But you call up the local property where you want to travel they always have rooms available. why ?? because non membership tariff is 500% more than the price of members tariff. Being a member also you dont have any rights to plan your holidays on your dates, you need to reschedule your plans to off season where the resort will have 90% availability in that case even if you ask for guest room or studio they will not give you. They will tell you to take 1 bhk or 2 bhk because that will fetch them more money then a standard rooms. WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP ACCORDING TO STERLING- YOU PAY US TO GROW AND GIVE US RIGHTS TO PLAN YOUR STAY AS PER OUR LIKING.

            Membership ID:1221815 Sterlings, I expected much better experience from the ‘Brand name’ but it turns out that all the offers are being set up like a trap. Its been over 5 months since my father initiated a request for full refund but it looks like that your are actually not interested in catering any such requests. Soon after the first meeting when we took the membership we checked for the feedback about the “offers” and after realizing the corporate level fraud mechanism practiced by Sterlings, we initiated the refund process through your agents Mr. R. K. Shukla and Mr. Ankit Bajpai. When we asked to cancel the membership they pleaded with teary eyes that they would lose their jobs and hence we should initiate the refund only after getting the welcome kit. This is the first step towards fraud. TRAINED FRAUDSTERS in the name of Agents. Even after initiating the request for cancellation/refund the subsequent EMIs were automatically deducted from the Bank Accounts. SECOND STEP towards FRAUD. Multiple calls/emails to the [protected]@sterlings.com appear to be going in an AUTO-REPLY box as all the responses are scripted and add no value the process. THIRD STEP towards FRAUD. Before posting here I did check the response and here too the response is scripted “Kindly share your contact details with us at [protected]@sterlingholidays.com so that our executives can directly assist you with your query.”, so even before you respond with this, please go through the mail chains already exchanged by easily searching for Member ID, provided this ID means something and complaints are not just dumped but actually looked into OR please contact me directly.

              My membership ID is 1222938. I sent many emails to company to cancel my membership and refund money of Rs 27000 paid to their Representative Dinesh. They wrote that my complaint will be addressed in few days. The representative of compnay Mr Vishal talked to me and promised refund in few days with approval of their finance dept of Mumbai Branch, but now it is more than four months since i paid money but I have not received the money Back, The company is not genuine, pathetic and very poor service. No respond till the date. Many phone calls made by me but no result. Everytime this people have new story to tell.

                This company doesn't have any ethics in doing business. they don't need a good customer base .all they need s your initial down payment amount after which you will be ditched. I paid the initial amount and found that all the information given by the executives are false and now I'm made to make numerous calls and emails to get my money back from them . Guys, please make sure that not even your enemies join Sterling Holidays in future. To know more about my experience please call [protected]. I wish to move to consumer court to get my money back. Please guide me regarding the same and lets prevent many other innocent people from getting conned by this worst company.

                    Dear Sir / Mam, I joined the company at Jaipur Location on 1st June 2015. I was on the tour where I had some misunderstanding with one of my colleague. So after that my manager asked me to resign. So I had word with the HR Mrs. Jaya Jha about my salary for 16 days That I had worked for then she make me assure that I will get my salary with full and final. Even my manager Mr. Deepak also said that be asure you will get your salary for the no. Of days you have worked for. Then after few days I asked my HR about the payment, then she said that as per the company policy you will the f&f amount after 45 days. Then about 50 days after I called her and asked about the same then she said that first I gave to get the no dues clear from my manager then only they will release the payment. I was not in town but still I managed and came especially for get the thing done.Then she said it will next more 10 days. Then after 10 days when I called her and asked about the payment then she said you will not get the payment. Since then she is even not answering my call not even replying on my messages. Thanks.

                      30.05.2015, I undersigned has taken your membership bearing ID No.: 1220609 on dated 02.05.2015. In that time I was not given any chance to think about pros & cons of this holiday package. I was horribly taken decision in that room Yes or No. Accordingly I was paid Rs. 24, 414.00 from my Credit card immediately at 9pm on dated 02.05.2015.                             We had initially paid money for membership of Sterling holidays of Rs 24770. We were not sure whether we want there membership or not, as we were confused btwn mahindra and sterling. But sterling fellow- Mr Pravin Dubey convinced us that if we give him down payment and then cancel the request in next 2 days, we will get our money back in 10 days. Its been now two months we have regularly followed up with Pravin, his boss Mr Amit, and sevaral mails on Feedback site of Sterling Holidays, but till date no reply has been received from their end.

                              Dear Sir /Mam I got a call from Sterling Holidays for some meeting on 24th april 2015. i met them on 25th april 2015 at Lazeej Restaurant Hisar . They convince me to pay them 25000 for some vacation plan. I gave them 10000 Rupees at that time via debit card. they told me that they can refund if i will not use their service and refuse in few days. I request them to cancel my plan and refund my money via email and phone on 28th april. They demad then another 15000 to refund my previous money. But i refuse. I requested them many a times but they did not refund my money. Please resolve the problem as soon as possible.                                 So many follow up i have not received my membership REFUND AMOUNT ( Pramit patel memership no 1213060 )and I have waste this holiday because of your holiday consultant Mr. Shanawaz Qureshi ( [protected]), kindly pl. refund by membership and give me amount of RS = 20644 + 12735 for this, I also inform you to don't detect any EMI now on ward from my ICICI Credit card account, but they have detected 03 EMI of rs= 5687 .

                                Your officer Mr. Shanawaz Qureshi ( [protected]) does not clear membership terms and conditions during agreements, He was hidden so many thinks and committed for free members holidays with in few days .

                                I paid Total Interest amount for 4 Pending EMI’s :- Rs, 7, 852/- for 04 months. I have all ready HOLD my membership from last 04 months because of wrong commitment from your executive side during membership agreements.


                                Pl. see details as below, and

                                Member ship cost = 165000 /-

                                Down Payment = 20, 644/-

                                EMI Payment = 5687 * 3 = 17061.

                                I NEED MY REFUND AMOUNT WITH.

                                  Hi All, This company is a big time cheat. It holds conferences and entices people into their ponzy scheme by playing with their emotions. The promise the moon to you. However, once you have paid up the initial capital, you are a useless liability to them. The same people are of no help as they shrug you off to the customer care which is again horrible. They have enticed me into their scheme. And once I realised that it was a grave mistake, I asked for a refund, that too within a couple of months. All they said that I [censored]ed up as I could get the money back only within 15 days as if after 15 days I took some benefit out of this money. I have not used even a single hour of their service. I escalated this matter to their HO. But All of them are Money eaters. If these posts don't then God will definitely take them to task some day.

                                    I was given a gift voucher of complimentary 3 day holiday by sterling through a draw.. I called the helpline and umpteen times they told me that their resort in dharamshala is free for booking in July.when I sent a mail for booking, there was no reply or call for 5 days..i sent a scanned copy of my options, noone contacted us and when I called the helpline, they said there are no bookings in dharamshala for the whole July.. My voucher no. Is 84465 issued in name of pawan kumar kudyar, and my mail reference no. is 01339170.. If the company isn't willing to give the free stay then they should stop giving out these bluff and FALSE vouchers.. There is no fun wasting time and peace of people busy in their routine.. This caused huge mental tension, diappointment and trouble to me and my family.. DR.PALVI KUDYAR

                                      My membership ID is 1220289 .I sent many emails to company to cancel my membership and refund money of Rs 27000 paid to their Representative Gagan They wrote that my complaint will be addressed in few days. The representative of comp nay Ms Rupinder talked to me and promised refund in few days but now it is more than two months since i paid money but I have not received the money Back, The company is not genuine and it fleeces customers in the name of providing y free holidays

                                        I had applied for the membership of Sterling Holidays ( form no :[protected] on 26/05/2015 at Mumbai after the presentation by Marketing Executive Mr. Aamir who first swiped my credit card for sum of 24, 414 before filling membership form . I sent first email to the company for cancellation of membership on 01/06/2015 and I also sent by registered post on 02/06/2015. Since I had applied for cancellation within stipulated 10 days as the condition mentioned in the membership form, I am entitled to full refund of my money upon cancellation, So far I haven't received any confirmation mail/ email of cancellation of membership and also I want to know when & how the company is going to refund my money.
