I want to deactivate my account with swiggy, but when i contacted them about this, they are saying the account is deactivated from their end. When i run the app, i can see my account is still active. I want them to deactivate my account and delete all my personal information because i don't want any identity theft to take place.in times like this, we all have to be very careful with who has our information because they can really cause serious damage to us.
I have the same issue, I have been sending them multiple emails. They say its done, I check after 2 months, my account data is still there. Such negligence and unethical practice.
Same experience here. They have the worst business practices. Their tactics is to keep the account active and one fine day you will be lured into using it. There is also a risk of your personal data being sold to Data Analytics companies to influence your browsing habits. Ask your family and friends to avoid using Swiggy.
I have had the same experience. Is there anything we can do? Maybe from a legal perspective? They are conveniently agreeing to deactivate the account but delaying it. I want to remove my information from swiggy as well ASAP.
Yup they don't delete the account... If they do they will face marketing loss. Im having the same experience.
I say we should search for call center and pick up a guy and beat him to agree his boss or manager to such pathetic policy.

    I ordered a meal from 'burger king' of ₹555 on 25 march 2018 through swiggy app. My phonepe balance was deducted but my order was not placed.
    I did chat with swiggy customer executives and they told me to wait for 24hrs to get refund. But its almost 3 days are passed but i still not get my refund.
    Kindly resolve my problem as soon as possible.

        Hi, this is kiran suvarna. I placed an order tonight (March 25, 2018) at around 10:10 pm. I got a call at around 10:15 pm by the delivery boy and he was very rude to me confirming the address.

        And then two guys came to the address and they delivered the package. Then they were forcing me to pay them 10rs tips. I just denied them.

        Then i came home and when i see the package it was already opened. I ordered 4 chicken mc-wings but there were only three. And the coke pack was leaking.

        This was my first order on swiggy and the impression was very bad. Now, i need to think twice before placing the order on swiggy again.

        I tried to raise this complaint on Swiggy contact-us, but that link was broken. So i'm trying here.
        I have been ordering from here for ages and it's something or other with these guys. They don't notify at the earliest that they cannot deliver and delivery executives are always rude. Such a scamming business these people run.
        I am Biswajit Das, ordered food today, August 5, 2018, from a restaurant about 2 kms from my house and followed up with the concerned boy when even after 1.5 hours my order did not arrive. The delivery boy, Mithun Pan started abusing me in the filthiest of languages and I was shell shocked at his behavior.

        Such kind of delivery boys should be immediately terminated to save Swiggy's goodwill. Mithun is only a temporary staff of Swiggy and look at his audacity in dealing with customers.
        Hi, this is Biswajit Das again. The delivery boy's name per Swiggy App is Akash Singh.

        But when I called him, the true caller showed his name as Mithun Pan. I guess he must be Akash Singh, as Swiggy mentions to be or Pan.

        Very dubious the whole matter is

          swiggy customer care support

          This is in reference with order number [protected].
          I was chating with customer care executive if i can add any extra item in my order. She instead of confirming it ordered it and i tried to cancel it but she did not did. Than i asked if i can make payment online as i already did for my remaining order she told not possible and also told me that if i cancel my order i have to pay for rest five order online as my cash on delivery will...

          Order id#[protected] i ordered food from swiggy for amount ₹2580. It was a waste of money. I got rotten chicken curry and found a paste in it. It was my cousins birthday and my guest couldn't eat anything. I called swiggy to take the food back but nobody came and nobody gave me any solution. It was my worst day i paid a lot of money to have food but couldn't eat a single item as all of them were worst quality. I charted with many but nobody helped me. Everyone lied to me that you will get a call but i got none.

          I will never ever order anything from swiggy in my life.

          I'm still waiting for a call from swiggy. Still waiting for a response.
          I had ordered Two Thali...one veg and one Non Veg from swiggy with order no.[protected]... However, the food delivered was rotten. The dal was smelling like hell. The sweet which was provided in Thali was also smelling. Further, the food provided was cold. I guess there is no prior check of quality been done by Swiggy before getting tied up with any vendor restaurant. When I made a complaint they offered me Rs.75 coupon and denied for full refund. I am no more ordering from swiggy and warn others not to order from swiggy...!!..

            Dear respected sir,

            I order a food via swiggy mobile app today #[protected] amount 2335/- and this order was assigned and choose to domino's and we tried reaching dominos customer they denied to answer the status of order and later contact swiggy team and we asked to contact domino's but domino's people are not ready to cancel or delivery the order and asked us to contact swiggy and swiggy customer care manager respond we can't help you and free to launc a police complaint.

            Now my food, time, money and trust lost over the transaction.

            Kindly look into this.

              Hello people, be alert always.

              Like to share a very bad expereince with swiggy.

              I recently ordered food from swiggy for the 1st time, i did my online payment but i didnt get any bank dedcution messege, and i got my orders, then the delivery boy started asking money he hurried me like anything and took my money since this was my 1st service i though it was cash on home delivery, after a day i got deduction messege from bank, i got to know that swiggy delivery boy has cheated and robbed me, then i tried to reach customer support, these customer support people were very very unprofessional they didint answer any of questions. I tried to reach the number which i got a call from that delivery boy, people who answered my calls spoke so rudely and threatened me almost like 3rd grade rowdies, where are we? What did i do wrong? Even i didnt know how or i dint get deduction messege how can a delivery ask money? Something fishy i never got deduction messege so lately for any order!!! Also i dont know with how many people this kind swiggy delivery boys cheated!!! How swiggy is so irresponsible, food panda is far more better than swiggy, food panda delivery people came though so much rain with 5-10 minutes delay, very poor customer support, customer support people are highly unprofessional. Delivery boys are highly indiscplined, still i didnt my money.

                no response for an issue of changing my phone number

                I tried to change my old phone number to a new number as the previous one is no longer valid. I tried through the app but everytime I entered the OTP, it said - "the OTP has expired." When I tried on their website it said the same thing. Later when I tried again, it said- "Maximum tries for mobile number change exceeded. Please contact customer care." So I called the customer care. But it was of no use as in Swiggy, our call is attended only...

                On march 8th i had placed a food order for 681/- inr and the amount was immediately debited to my account but the order could not be tracked. On calling the swiggy chat, i was informed that the transaction failed and the amount would be credited in 2-3 days. However despite more than 10 days, i have not received the amount and now they are informing that the amount has not been received saying there was some miscommunication and that the bank has to be approached. The bank has given details of the payment transaction number, date and amount made to swiggy.

                  I ordered Paneer Butter Masala and roti accompany with Fruit Raita (80 Rs)
                  First they served mixed raita (60Rs) and charged 80 Rs.
                  Then the cherry to cake was i received plastic in my Paneer Butter Masala.
                  and the CUSTOMER CARE executive M jyothi says that they can refund me for Rs 50.
                  against the total bill of Rs 278.
                  Do i look like a beggar to them ### app making people fool and ill with their food.

                    Signed up to swiggy to place my 1st ever order... Verified otp promptly on my phone and received an order confirmation.. Meanwhile received an urgent call which went on for 10 min to only realise later that my order got cancelled!! Swiggy didnt bother to try contact and verify later... Dont understand double verifications when otp verification was already done.. Had already lost 40 min in this mess.. So tried placing a reorder only to find out my coupon code was no longer allowed and cod got blocked as well.. Pathetic company.. Aint be using it again

                      I placed order for kfc food. Though very regular but swiggy is not professional. This company will not have good rapport for their unprofessional approach. Very rude their customer care. I ordered from kfc menu but kfc cancelled the order saying thats wednesday special. But no where it was mention 10 pcs of hot and crispy chicken is wednesday special. If that was the case then why swiggy charged me. They never had courtesy to inform that kfc has refused the order.
                      Its pathetic and disgusting about swiggy and kfc to have such behaviour.

                        I am ordering through swiggy regularly... The delivery boy who came earlier came again today so obviously he should know this address.. Moreover u have route guide... I saw him and kept my phone in home and asked my son to go down to get the order... That guy behave rudely to my small kid saying i didn't pick the phone.. He called after reaching here by the time i came out he left too...

                          I used to order food from swiggy regularly. But since 3-4 weeks in my area cash on delivery is not availaible. I dont know why because almost my orders always had cash on delivery before that. The restaurant i used to order, now it shows that its unservicable. I need to know the reason behind it. How can suddenly a restaurant can become unservicale in my area as from that resaturant i have ordered many a time?? I seriously want to know to the reason behind closing cash on delivery and restaurant problem. We dont have much access to our credit cards, but whenever we have access to our card we do it from the card.

                            I have couple of complaints where i really faced worse with swiggy.
                            I have ordered food on swiggy order id [protected]
                            First delivery person called and said he had problem with address and asked me to come to particular place and collect order. After swiggy executive conferenced call with me and delivery person, it took 50 min for that person to reach the address where usually it should be 25 min.
                            After receiving order, i was shocked to see one of the item is unpacked. It's open and quantity is less. And when i opened other item, it contains egg. I'm pure vegetarian and i ordered veg item. How can something like this can happen in one of the popular food delivering app. And i'm victim of it suffered from beginning of the order. When i was trying to customer care, they are not even connecting call to executive person. I had no choice than complaining here
                            Same happened with me I ordered Kadai paneer and they delivered Kadai chicken pathetic Swiggy

                              Your order #[protected] has been cancelled. A cancellation fee of rs. 75.0 will be charged.

                              We have initiated a refund of rs. 595.0 to your paytm wallet after deducting a cancellation fee of rs.75.0.

                              The app has a bug as i was able to order foot from far off area just bcos the eatery had a similar name to the one nearby.
                              The delivery boy called me and requested me to cancel the order as he can't do it.

                              I requested cancellation and then requested another order from nearby but the cancellation was levied, on confronting the swiggy support told me the money will come back in 24 hours, but it didn't

                                I have been cheated by the team they said if delivery is delayed they will provide refund but when i chat they replied very rude, stating you have been received so many refunds from our end we cannot provide more.

                                Do you this getting refund is my hobby? Do to you site member you have been forced to provide refund etc as compensation.

                                How dare you blame to me, and chatting with me in rude manner is not correct.
                                Hey this is Sriram and I have placed an order using Swiggy on 5th of May and I paid using my UPI. The money (343 rs) was debited from my account but then I received a message like the order (#[protected]) wasn't placed and if any amount debited will be refunded within 2-4 business days to my account. Then again I placed the same order and paid using my debit card. But today is 23rd of May and still there is no sign of my refund. I had a conversation with three of its support executives and all the three brags a lot except refunding my amount and when I ask them for reference number, they are saying like its against their policy for sharing the reference number. I'm not sure who isn't upto their morals in refunding customer's money for failed transactions and I don't know what they are going to gain by cheating people. I think I will need to file a lawsuit with all my evidences. Any suggestions? Swiggy?

                                  i ordered a rajugaru kodi palav family combo worth rupees 499 and after using refer and earn coupon i got discount of 100 and item subtotal 359/- i paid using paytm. after 40 minutes i received the order and when i opened the order biryani rice got foam like thing that smells stinky and chicken pieces added also stinks lot. i contacted the swiggy team right away with the pictures of the order . but they say we take feedback but we could not compensate or refund .. no matter how i request with photo proofs they given the same answer..

                                    Today i made an order from mcdonalds, through swiggy bangalore.
                                    They showed in their system that time was resturant is available.
                                    After i made the payment for the order and waited for item to deliver.
                                    Few minutes later, i got call from their customer service and informing that "sorry for the technical problem, kindly cancel my order, and reorder it back".
                                    I asked for whats the reason, they informed that due to technical reason.
                                    The same time, i got call from delivery boy and notifying that resturant is closed, so not able to get the food items. I spoke back to customer care, they still stick with their lies that food ordering not completed due to technical issue, i have to cancel my self and re-order it. Very precisely informed that, not possible that we got the information that restuarant is closed, if you want to cancel it, cancel it through your end. After that i asked for my payment return to be done to my swiggy account instead of credit card, they refuse that option also and cut the phone. Then they give me two missed calls, and send a text message that "for confirming the order, we are not able to contact you, so they were cancelling the order id." this is the way swigyy is treating customers.
