I am a tenant, living in rented house. Last month, i paid the bill rs.180 (March). With same consumption, now my bill amount is rs.800. And there they mention cc charge 590.00, cc deposit 210.00. This cc deposit will be paid by tenant or house owner to whom the meter is belongs. I am staying in rent. Hw do i pat cc deposit? What exactly it cover in electric bill. Please explain

    I called vadasery eb many times to get power supply after 2 hours of shut down. But they told there is no one to do night duty for the first time. When i called second time they told they are looking into that. When i tried from my mom's number they told no night duty person to look into this issue. Since 11.45 pm we are suffering. Whole night we suffering. Please take care of this issue. Very worst response from eb.

      Even fan struggles to run continually from 8 pm to 3 am,
      Very struggling after elections,
      Every summer facing the same issues.
      Not plans in eb to correct.

      There is no proper complaint contacts to electricity board.

      Whom to contact and what is the process to complaint for eb, does it has any customer care to record complaints, plz help

        Hi.. We are residing at padmavathy nagar, rajeswari street, jalladian pet, chennai -600100. There is a frequent current disruption in our area everyday midnight. Tried to contact the eb board, no one took responsibility to attend the call...in case if power supply is present it's of low voltage.. Facing this problem in summer. Because of frequent electricity disruption adults and children's are sleepless who is residing here. Kindly take proper actions to resolve asap... Requesting to do not cut power in midnights...

          We r residing in perumalpattu near sriram college vepampattu, tiruvallur district.. It's been 24 hrs since we have no power due to heavy wind blowing, we checked with in our eb office but haven't got any proper response, we have kids and elders at our home who r struggling alot and moreover this month we r fasting as well.. I would request you to look after it as soon as possible.

          On the EB card the Date, Reading and consumption units have been entered but the CC Charge is not entered even in when try to pay through online there is no CC Charge entered why is there a miss on this card number[protected] if I go to EB office I have to wait for 4 hours to update the card why its been handled careless from the person
          Hi sir/mam, from indhra nagar paruthipattu avadi we have been under severe low voltage of continous episodes during night time around from 8pm and even now we have experiencing low voltages on noon time. Kindly requesting you to view the reason for complaint and take necessary action as per requirement.

            I've been asked for additional deposit of 12, 790/- for the month may 2019. There was a problem with the meter and hence no bill was generated even online for quite some time. However, last feb, tneb asked me to pay 20, 000/- as due amount including penalty and fine. I have paid the same amount and the whole consumption for the due period as marked as single month consumption and hence additional deposit has been added.

            Given that whole due amount is paid already and the additional deposit is wrongly calculated, i request you to kindly revert the deposit amount of 12, 790/-

              Till now i have made several complaints but of no avail. I am a resident of nilamangai nagat, adambakkam, chennai. Every year it has become customary for the eb to enforce unannounced powercuts especially after 9 pm giving sleepless nights to the residents during peak summer. The voltage also is very low. Last week only there was powercut from 9 am to 5 pm for maintenance. But from the next day itself every night there is unannounced powercut for hours together which go unattended. It is a nightmare and mental agony for those who have to wakeup and go for jobs every morning because of sleepless nights. Eb being a service provider is answerable to the consumer for unannounced powercuts and deficiency in service. I request the eb higher authorities to take action and ensure power supply especially at night with optimum voltage as college exams or on now.

                Near my house a live wire is passing. Trees branch are touching the live wire. Due to powerful air flow live wire are touching and it's creating a sparkle. It's creating damage to household fuse. It's government duty to maintain and cut down the branche. It may cause to dead. We complaint to your employees and their response is pathetic. His response is very very bad. Please take action.

                I complaint on thane city. But by mistake it ended up in city called Tiruppur

                I'm from Chennai vasantham Nagar Avadi. The voltage is fluctuating at night after 9pm and in three phase line only two phase is coming. Look into the issue as soon as possible and help me with this problem.

                    May 6 2019 my bill payment last date. I didn’t remember that date, so i open google pay to pay electricity bill, while it opened it shows bill due date expired, i shocked then i try open in phonepe also reflecting same, then i login to tneb to pay it shows sum of 400 extra - actual cost to pay 2374 but i paid for 2792, what the hell goes to government took late fee charge like rocket interest. What to do now, shall i raise the complaint - mobile no-[protected]

                      Sir, we are facing low voltage issue for past 5 years. There are 200 families who are affected due to this low voltage problem during summer. Everyday night due to overload the voltage drops to 120v.
                      Children and elder people are suffering a lot. We have given complaint and petition to selaiyur eb about this problem but no action taken so far. Everyday it takes 1am to get proper power supply. This problem is only in madambakkam, padmavathy nagar 1, 2, 3 &4th street, selaiyur eb circle.

He is crying and no sleeping still now no one bother but me. Take action to concern department. This is not good. Every time i call the concern ae person. She is told i will come half hour. But still now one comes. I really do tied to call. This type of attitude so bad from chennai government officers.

                                I am living in (Thenneri village pin 631604 kanchipuram district) there are more than 80 houses in our area and still there is no proper stable supply of power at night. Even in morning also heavy voltage fluctuation occurs. Voltage fluctuates for every 2 min.ac is not at all running due to low voltage and fluctuations. Lights are so dim & fans are useless due to low voltage. Please help installing a transformer to regulate the power in my area.

                                Please help us to resolve this problem as soon as possible.

                                  Summer started, we are facing big trouble because of low voltage in nights... We cannot run ac... Half speed fans...in our area we need additional transformer.. As the current capacity is not withstanding the load... Even we could witness street lights (Led) will dim a second because of load. If any of them turned ac on... So pls help in providing additional transformer for our area...

                                    03.05.2019, power shutdown in our area, from 9 am to 5pm. But we received our power only after 7pm. When enquired regarding this to eb cc 1912, they said some maintenance provbem.

                                    Now at 10 pm low voltage for all the 3 phase and we started to call 1912, who said transformer burnt and within 45 min it will be resolved

                                    But after that 1912 is not responding to our calls. Always busy tone only.

                                    I usually pay rs.500-800 and consume around 300-400 units bi-monthly for eb. But, last reading shows consumption at 1320 units asking me to pay rs. 7120/-. I have contacted the local eb office in person and also raised an online complaint on tneb website, but there has been no action so far. My bill is due in a few days and i dont know what to do in this case. Should i pay rs.7120/- and wait for them to correct the issue or can i wait until they fix the problem and then make the payment? One of the lineman at eb has also taken rs.500/- bribe stating he would let the ae know about the problem and that he would do everything possible to correct the outstanding due amount so we can make the payment. This is the issue that middle class families like mine face everyday. If we had money or other influence, then this would be a non-issue. But, it has been a week now and no action has been taken. I am worried that, if i dont pay now, my eb will be disconnected. I also tried calling the customer care numbers but no response. What should i do? Thank you for your help and support.

                                      Hello all,
                                      We are living in pattanam coimbatore 641016. I am really very sorry to say this.in my area there is a power problem. If we call to eb office they told it will come within one hour. Daily we are facing power problem. We have kids and young people's. They are not sleeping at all.. How many days we can tolerate?. It is very ridiculous and i am feeling very bad. Its happening frequently and nearly 10 to 15 times per day. Every day we are facing power supply is very bad and low voltage.
