This is a public welfare complaint

With the failure of the electricity department to hammer out a solution to the illegal, arbitrary and unauthorized use of the department's poles by cable television operators at killiyanallur, manachanallur taluk, tiruchirappalli (Dt) - 621213, the overhanging wires continue to create the public nuisance, besides posing threat to life and property. The danger to life on account of the haphazard pulling of wires over electric poles,

The danger arises when the television cable and the live electricity, cable, which run simultaneously over the pole, come in contact with each other. Our village cable operators do not comply with safety standards. They should make use of insulated messenger wires.

Instead, they lay gi or metallic wires which are good conductors of electricity. The danger is aggravated especially when high tension conductors snap. Snapping of power lines may be at a far distance, but since the television, cable runs on the particular line which has snapped, the person handling the gadget at home may be electrocuted due to transmission of direct supply. And sometimes, such as electric shocks are fatal in nature.

The higher electricity officials opine that the government needs to formulate a policy to restrict the use of poles by cable tv operators in the interest of the safety of the public. Thanks

I am able to login to my tneb payment website, but it shows as no records found. when I click add number it says "invalid service no". It says no records found for all the available links on that page. but when I click delete number, it shows my service number and name correctly.
I am from aambattur (chennai), I have paid my EB bill through online using HDFC bank netbanking on 25.11.2017. There was problem in e- receipt genearation. While paying the amount I got a message your transaction failed.but amount devoted from my account so please refund my amount rs .1130. I am attached my bank statement.

    Dear sir/madam,
    When i try to look at account summary or bill history using www.tnebnet.org website, it is showing me the below error.
    "services are temporarily not available"

    My consumer number is[protected]. Please get is solved at the earliest.

    Note: i have two other eb connections enrolled under my userid. I am able to access all links under these two connections.

    This no.[protected]. not for my electricity service.

    so pls deactivate my mobile your tangedgo services.

Rajendran my sc number is[protected], near by my home four domestic line is crossing inside my compound wall, since ive decided extend my building so i requested to near by concerned person to shift the line but they refused to shift. Regarding this i have given a written complaint to concerned ae but there is no any response. I request u to make further arrangements to transfer those lines.

        Sir, we are from vandalur-mannivakkam - ram nagar 10th street, the employees of eb posted the earth wire inside our home without our permission. We told to not post the earth inside.. So, please take the cable and change the post.. Its our right to keep our home safe. Please take the wire out of the home... They are talking unneccessary to us.. The employees are worst talking... Thanking you.

          Sir/madam. For past few days all the houses in my apartment getting flash. Today it is getting worse in night.. Please check this out. Everything is getting off for a second and getting back.. Definitely it continues it may cause damage for all electronic devices. We don't know whether it in our boxes or in a main line. Please ask your staffs to check this out

          Complaint reg the damaged main cable during rains which need to be replaced as it is exposed and children in our area keep playing around that place. we have shared photographs in this regard to thiruvanmiyur tneb & action so far. as we are not in a position to monitor children playing request AE tneb to address this on priority.

              We were 4 families around here. Yesterday (14/11/17) night their was a spark in our eb line outside to our building and from then power supply is very low and we couldn't even run fan, light. Soon after we seen the spark we complained to eb person to check. Till now (15/11/17) 10.00 am no one responded to our complaint. Please arrange this issue immediately and solve asap.

              I called the MES office on 15th nov 2017 around 6:00 pm at[protected]. I mentioned there is no power supply, sriram nagar, peerkankaranai. The lady who attended the call cooly says it will be attended tomorrow morning only. So till then you want us stay the whole night without power. Is this how the tamilnadu government works.

                We have a abandoned push cart from tneb outside our gate
                This has become a collection point for all the rain water and breeds mosquitoes. Also this is being used as garbage bin by the people on the road.

                  We are facing low voltage and frequently power off in metro star city, manikandan nagar, kundrathur 69. When try to call eb office phone is busy or not reached. Here almost 200+ families are residing and many of the homes have kids with 0-5 years old. Kindly help to solve this problem. Please put transformer over here and check all the connections are have sufficient voltage or not.

                    Sir my service no[protected] october month reading not taken regarding i went to eb office sithalapakkam chennai they told we will check and inform you. I am staying flats there are 5 houses and 1 company available eb all meters are open places only anybody can see the meter.2 days back i check eb reading online for my service number they are mentioned door lock amount should be paid as for the last month bill that was rs.3760 but last month the company which one available in my flat that amount is 3760 because of connection problems. Eb man told last month problem solved here after it will not happen so i am waiting for october month bill but this month for my flat s2 reading not taken remained 4 houses and 1 company reading taken how can they enter with out take the reading they mentioned door lock another one for all others reading date 13 the october for my number 20 the october so they are not working properly they forget to take the reading for my house so kindly rectify my problem. Can i go consumer court please tell me solution.

                    I'm trying to pay my eb bill but i'm getting service is not live error. Please enable the link to pay my eb payment.

                      Dear Sir/Madam

                      I had paid Rs. 860 in the month of July 2017 when the recorded usage showed zero. The reading go added up to 1000 unit in Sept 2017 and I was double billed again for Rs. 1400. I paid it online. The current month usage is only 830 but the bill is Rs. 3958 !! I am completely shattered to see this huge mistake in the calculation unbearably excessive billing.

                      The due date to pay is 20th Nov. When i checked the details o[censored]sage the data says 'no records found'

                      Please resolve this repeated issue and save me from being punished as the scapegoat for the official mistake of the electricity board.

                          Consumer no.[protected]... The last bill which i paid for the period from 19.06.17 -19.08.17 for 910 units was 4486. This time i reduce my consumption to the barest minimum by puting lot of care and effort as my assessment date was 19.10.17. My meter reading was 470 units on 19.10.17 for assessment period of two months i. E 19.08.17-19.10.17 thereby in lower rate per unit slab but to my sheer dismay the meter reading was done on 23.10.17 i. E delay of 4 days resulting in the jump of my total units to 530 units from 470 units thereby putting me in higher slab. Therefore my bill stand for rs 1978 instead of around rs 900. I am unable to understand why should a consumer suffers this loss for the negligent delay on the part of tneb staff. You are requested to make good the loss done to me by adjusting my electricity bill accordingly. Thanks

We are in big trouble with this power cut. For the past few days it was even more difficult for us, when there were powered cuts a the middle of the night.                               There is no power in 15 pillayar koil st maduvankarai guindy from morning.. Secondly i was unable to reach any of customer care until around 3.30pm. The phone numbers provided for raj bhavan telephone exchange and other number 22355000 is not functional. Nobody picks up or it's always busy. Other number 1912 it is quoted that non bsnl users should use 044 1912 which also did not work

Eb personnel came in the morning around 8.45 hrs and disconnected the power supply and went of saying that somebody from eb department will come and switch on the line.                                       It shows the bill amount. But, on clicking pay bill, i have been getting following error "services temporarily not available. Will be resumed soon" for the past three days. :- (

                                      Please resolve this and improve the performance of the website.

                                      It's the only website used by 67m+ people. During the rainy season, it's really painful to reach the eb station to pay in person. Please maintain the website.

                                        We are a unit situated at ambattur indl estate sp99, southern avenue road.
                                        We are facing a problem of severe fluctuations and in turn have lost 3 computers in the process despite having ups and other systems in place. We have made several complaints to ambattur estate eb office and they too have deputed line men on 3 -4 times and still the problem persists. The issue here is that these line men come and do something in the transformer and dont bother coming and checking if everything is alright, but instead just walk away when our men are frantically calling for them. Absolute negligence and not sincere to their work. The problem still persists and we are now afraid to run our unit in the fear that many more machines would get affected. Kindly resolve immediately
