This is to inform that the recording of eb reading by tneb staff is very much delaying by them and due to this we are getting higher units and some time the slabs are also moving to next 500+ units.     Last 5 times o[censored]sage reading under 150 units, this month meter shows 1360 units, the meter is defective, i complain to concern department ae mam,
    Foreman came check meter, he remove fuse from meter, the meter will run, so kindly change that defective meter, and re correct usage units,

        Residing @ washer varadappa street, new washermanpet, chennai 600 081... There is no power supply since last night from 10 pm.. (Comes under tolgate eb office)

        Did inform the issue in the chairman cell last night but response wasn’t great..

        And not to our surprise concerned turned up to arrest the issue only this evening but seemed disinterested in work from the beginning.. And left saying it can be fixed only by tomorrow..

        Escalated issue to a. E for prompt action but failure... And trying his number again for follow up but no response.. Again not to my surprise

        Time & again these government organisations fail to perform their duties and most often that affects common man...
        At least top officials should reiterate their responsibilities on regular basis.

        We highly appreciate if public servants show some care to the people & do justice to their jobs!

            But the billing seems to have got generated in excess. The current bill amount mentioned as 4156/- in compared to the previous bill amount of 2704/-.

            I have paid my EB bill Rs. 2902/- through iob net banking on 5th January 2018. The amount was detected from my account. but the transaction was failed. Please consider and do the needful

              Hi i'm karthik from thoothukudi. My eb no is[protected]/[protected]. I'm running computer center. There is frequent power cut to only my eb line from post. There is power supply to others. When checked the neutral line gets cut from post line man says.. I complained many times but this problem occurs repeatedly. As i'm running business i need proper power supply. Kindly take proper action.

                The mentioned Sc.No meter was changed from analog to digital and since from then the reading shown is faulty. it is serviced for a 5 hp bore motor which runs for a maximum of an hour with average consumption of 5 units daily but the consumption amount shown at the time of bill payment is too high. It's almost doubled everytime and we even complained many times to the E.B office and they don't respond properly and speak awkwardly. They confessed that it's their mistake and this won't happen surely for next time and requested us to pay 16, 000 as they do all the time or it will be set as due amount. But I can't bare the pay and insist you to look up at this issue and solve it as soon as possible. Also I request to speak regarding changing the meter to avoid this problem further.

                    I k saravanan am working in the army. Presently my bettalion is in chennai my native is krishnagiri district, bargur taluk, sigaralapalli village my home is located there only.
                    Few month ago bargur electric board staffs single phase wire connected to another street pole without our permission when we are in chennai it's over on my valuable plot. Now plan to built home there, now that area few people do not allow to few feet move pole from there. Them relative also working in bargur eb department with strong support lineman&few staffs.

                    What can i do?

                        Im from urambu village, near by mettala, rasipuram TALUK, nammakal DISTRICT, here a person taking illegal power for home more than 15 years.till now no one take action.so plz take action oh him..his name is karupannan s/o ramasamy..
                        Supply of electricity has been unavailable for the past 1 hr. Please avail the supply immediately . despite all my neighbours have their power supply help us to get the power as early as possible.

                          I had a made a payment of rs.155 towards tangedco via online on dec 8th and i got a mail stated tha payment not approved from tangedco. So i made repayment of rs.155 towards tangedco via online and it was successful. When i contacted the bank for the refund amount for the rejected transaction they have provided the details that the payment was successful for the rejected transaction from the bank towards merchant and provided prn number and asked to communicate with the merchant. Kindly provide me further details regarding the transaction.

                            I constructed new house. I have a temporary connection 07 [protected]. My house occupied my plot layout perfectly.in lt line passes very nearest to my house and it will very dangerous and hazardous for human life. I submit one application and one stampduty document for the expense of shifting line by sidearm fixation 45 days before. Till then office not take any action to rectify the problem.
                            It's very dangerous human life.

                              In my house tneb people fixed digital meter around 1 year before. Now recently tneb people asking deposit of rs.1800 for that digital meter. Is it true or fake or something else? Kindly please reply for my doubt?

So far no action has been taken by the Department. Since I have to pay the Bill amount I want to know the exact amount to be paid.                                 The transformer no: ss-ii, thandhavilai, pole# knr-40, moolachal, kanyakumari dist, during the recent storm, the electric pole f-ii, 3 became bent and service wires have come too low, it is severe hazard for vehicles and pedestrian/ children moving below, recently one live wire broken, complaint was already registered, no enough action taken so far. Please take necessary action before any incidents.

                                  Iam kuravi bhikari staying in mohan nagar, vepampattu do here by complaining that with out coming to customer home taking wrong readings & after that they are disconnecting the line from the home. It's very painful that my 20/9/2017 reading was 9350 units as of now is (4/1/2018) is 9911 units so total 561 consumed in 100 days. But they billed 600 units as of on[protected]. How can it possible. Pls explain. I have no current in my home. Secondly iam paying every time through online. The bill is updating after due date, how can i pay with out online reading neither they coming to home to mention the reading in home.

                                    Because of wrong meter reading taken by eb officials bill produced with the huge amount.in the online tamilnadu eb website after registered complaint on 20/12/2.17 till now not corrected. Date of dealing is crossing shortly. Action not taken till date correct meter reading. By comparing previous summary. Needs to be changed for payment process within the deadline.

                                      On january 3rd around 1:20 pm a female meter reader visited the home where my parents both above 70 years, and with physical challenges reside. The street she was at was avvaiyar st, gandhi nagar, oragadam, chennai 600053

                                      She spent exactly two minutes at the house.in that time, she wouldn't wait for my aged father who is bent over from back pain to get back into the house and fetch her the eb card. She waltzed off to the house across the street leaving my father anxious that now either him or my mother has to drop everything they were doing and run after her who is about 1/3 rd their age to help her finish her job. She didn't indicate if she will be back or not, or what her intent was when she left without filling out that damn card.

                                      I'm visiting from out of state, and it took me a minute to realize what all the commotion was about. My mother is beside herself because she couldn't see where the meter reader went. My dad is getting anxious because he thinks that it was our fault that we didn't act fast enough to her pace - 2 minutes! She gave my aging parents 2 minutes to get their act together.

                                      I ask you, are meter readers required to spend less than 3 minutes at each residence? She was there for not even that time. Do your employees get trained to communicate with customers? Do they know that the elderly if not treated with respect then they should be at least be treated with humanity?

                                      I'm livid, is an understatement.
