The maximum power we received from the transformer is only 120- 180... It decreases when load increases some times 100voltage of power. Frequent failure of transformer.. No electricity for many nights.. Not maintaining it well... If we ask their the eb line man scolding us and they can't do anything... Please solve this...     Double payment –request for refund –[protected]

    The cc ccharges for the above connection was assessed on 23.05.2017 to be rs.2638/- and the due date was 12.08.2017. I paid an amount of 2668 on that day morning. As it was not updated till night i paid the amount again for the second time. Both were paid through hdfc bank netbanking.

    But later i found that the bank has debited both the payments from my account and says that it was credited to tanfedco.

    I lodged the online complaint in the web self service portal as following:
    Complaint id [protected] dated 1.08.2017 status “ to be processed”
    Complaint id [protected] dated 23.08.2017 status “ to be processed”
    Complaint id [protected] dated 16.09.2017 status “ to be processed”

    I enclose herewith the copy of the bank statement for your perusal and request you to kindly do the needful and get refund of the amount at your earliest.

      I am from cuddalore. The digital meter in shop got damaged an i had complained about it many a times still they are not working on it. We had shut down our shop long back due to some financial problem. So there is no way we using the power in the shop. Butill we are forced to pay the amount equals to the amount we paid last month but this month we are not using any power at all as the shop is shutted down. They are telling that they don't have digital meter stock so they can't replace it now. Its been a month

        My consumer no [protected]. My mail id [protected]@yahoo.co.in. My user id for bill payment is gurukrishna74 and password is poorani26. For the past two months i am not able to pay and also not able to see the bill history etc. Kindly rectify the same or delete my user id and password so that i can create new one and continue online payment. Or let me know how solve this problem. Iam having three more user id and password which are also not working.

            Power cut for more than 2 n half hours in midnight in our area (Rajaji street, ambethkar nagar, poonamallee) but no action was taken till 4 hours... We people struggled for more than 3 hours and we r very much irritated, till now v didn't get any response from our tneb poonamallee office... We have contacted so many times but still now we didn't get any response... Why there is so much irresponsible in our office... What to v do now or whom shall we contact now...??? We need an immediate response...

              My customer number is[protected] and i have paid bill of rs.2308 vide transaction number [protected] and receipt number pgdcan 1071405 on 09/09/17, where as you sent a message and email stating my payment rolled back and to pay the bill amount to avoid disconnection. I have paid again on 11/09/17 vide transaction number [protected] but the amount which i have paid on 09/09/17 is not returned. Please do the needful, as it is going to be one month. Reply soon.

                  Dear madam / sir,
                  A couple of weeks back, a private contractor had arranged a jcb to dig pit to construct storm water drain, unfortunately the jcb had pulled out the underground cable, but luckily the cable had not been damaged. Due to the jcb's force the material holding the cable gave way and now is dangling dangerously. Meanwhile while filling up the concrete mix i had arranged to lay a 2" pvc pipe under the concrete mix so that this cable can be inserted through it and fixed to the post properly. Kindly depute your technician to fix the same at the earliest as rain season is going to set in. Complained four days back, till now there is no action. Thanks

                    Am residing in anna pillai street sowcarpet, whenever rain comes normally power will shutdown, if we call to service to attending, mostly they will not attend the call. If we attend the call they will not come and attend the issues. A. E is also will not attend the call at night, we are the struggler. Some one should take knowledge to higher authority to solve the problem.

                        There is a high power transformer which was deployed a year back and the heavy power transmission cables are not completely packed inside the ground.
                        The cables are exposed so much outside posing high risk for kids who are playing on the roads. There is a ration shop opposite to the transformer due to which we see lot of big rats eating the power cables. Also, during the rainy seasons, if the water logging happens, there are chances for electrocution due to these cables. Kindly take necessary action.

                        May be if some child dies playing around that transformer cable or some power leaks happened during water logged rainy season, some one will die of electrocution and reaction will happen...

                          Don't know why the current has been gone in our building and next to us, it is 8pm yesterday when it was off and still now we can't even sleep properly and my one month niece is crying badly due to it. We have also ranged yu yesterday but it went answered lyk a hell, it's 4.40am am complaining abt it coz a human need sleep at night.. Plz look into it

                            Hi sir, i'm ramachandran residing at no. 32/1, palani andavar koil street, perambur-11. The three face power supply to my house is not available due to faulty cable. This had happened due to regular digging up of the road for many reasons. So now the electricity board has given a temporary single face connection, which needs to be regularised with three face connection through a new cable. We have raised this complaint many times but no action has a been taken. Kindly requesting you to replace the cable at the earliest.

                              We are living in kundrathur (Nandhambakkam). People living here are facing low voltage problem for about one month. We have complained about this problem through phone and directly to officers but no action were taken till now. We people are not getting basic needs like water supply for bathroom use and for drinking too for past three days. We need immediate action on this. Children are suffering lot. Kindly solve this problem as soon as possible.

                                Sub : unjustified clubbing of the 4 months reading to wive the subsidy

                                I am tenant of the above mention address, i would like to bring your notice that there was unjustified clubbing of 4 months reading and difference in meter reading as per the eb card & online eb records maintain by tneb.

                                Please note that the following points

                                During the month of july, 2017, there was 460 unit consumption but when i reported on[protected] to the eb office for payment of the dues, i was asked that your accounts has been disconnected due to non payment of may, 2017 bill, which was nil as per eb card, and also asked to pay the amount to reconnect it. I then paid the same as per there record, but at that time they did not ask me anything of july month bill, which was 460 units however, now they clubbed the same unit including the unit for the july, 2017 in sep, 2017 bill and waived the subsidy for both the consecutive months.

                                Therefore, i request your good office kindly bifurcate the above two consecutive bi-monthly bill and allow me the subsidy as per the tneb rules.

                                  Sir, i am a senior citizen ngo retd., residing at chennai,
                                  My consumer no. Is[protected] of tmilnadu electicity board - region 09-chennai-south - circle 400 - south1 - section 264 - moovarasampet - distribution 671 - teachers colony.

                                  My meter assessment date is 15/3/2017 - rs.35/- due date is 03/04/2017, when i approached to pay the bill they (Eb staff) told me to pay next month, but they have disconnected on 7/4/2017 only by computer record not in the field.

                                  On the next assessment the meter reading staff came to my house at that time the card was missing, when i asked for the eb card they told me compliant to a. E to get new card, but unfortunetly he is not available in the office mostly, i am unable catch him. Finally i got the card through a eletrician.
                                  On 24/08/2017with the new card i approached to pay the arrears, the counter staff ask me to get the present meter reading, and i went home and given the present reading as 2695 as on 24/8/2017, for this they told me to pay rs.828/- to teriminate the disconnection status from the system, i have paid it they had given a recipect no. Chs264iais85 (3/2017 to 8/2017). Next according to the last assessment reading 1750 (14/3/2017), meter reading taken by me on 24/08/2017 is 2695 units, now the consumption unit is 945. The counter staff made an entry on the card cc. Charges to be paid is rs. 4717/-, i had given a sum of rupees 5000/- in a denomination of 10 x 500rupees notes, he told me that no tender is with me, so, we will keep the balance rs. 283/- as adv payment for next cc charges. Without knowing this trick behind this, i left the office that day.

                                  Later, on the next assessment date (15/9/2017) the staff came to my house and assessed from closing reading as 3210units (Cc units – 515 units) and charges is 3912/- at that time i am not in the house.
                                  The next day i asked explanation for the excess billing, but the reason they told was not satisfied, so, kindly make a correct bill for this month (Sep 2017).
                                  The same day i tried to meet a. E regarding this issue, but not available. Finally i met him with the compliant, but the answer is not satisfied.

                                  My question is - on system disconnected is dt. 7/4/2017 till now they not disconnected in the feild.

                                  Without paying my full dues how they cleared in the system status as connected.

                                  Those peoples in the offices are not giving the clear details, and breaking rules and regulation of board.
                                  So, kindly take action immediately without fail and please do the needful for me.

                                  sir, this second update of my compliant, 30days had crossed for this compliant, Till now NO ACTION taken, I think this CONSUMER COMPLIANTS web page is not in live, so, no use of posting compliants in this.
                                  Street light is not working last 7 days in Mazhayur village. Please do the needful

                                  Note : if we ask authority person in mazhayur village the people react irresponsibility.

                                    Dear sir, i am arputharaj. D my address 64, periyar nagar, kanagam road, tharamani, chennai - 113. There is consistently low voltage in our area, kindly arrange for correct / normal voltage. Most of the time we are facing low voltage, even the fan is working in very low speed that there is now air we could feel. Frequently there are power interruptions in the night hours affecting our sleep, in our family both elderly & small kids are there, please solve this problem as soon as possible.

                                        I made my payment online and it was debited twice. Kindly refund the excess amount available in my A/c. Tried reaching them @ 28520131 for the last 15 days. Ringing. No response. Very poor Customer Service. If we don't pay on time, they come & disconnect the line. If they don't refund it on time, can we disconnect their power supply?
