Hi, Address: 1242, ayyanar kovil street, vadaseri 614905, thanjavur district service no:[protected] &[protected] I am Arul Prakash and currently staying in chennai. Two months once I used to come to native. Six month before I have seen a damaged electricity post near my house. I have written a complaint and given to AE (Assistant Engineer) of our EB office. They have kept lay down a post near that damaged post which is not changed with old one. So please someone help us to resolve this issue. Thank you, Arul Prakash

    My name is Refaideen, residing in Madukkur, Thanjavur Dt. I have applied for a 3 Phase connection for my house (phase change from single to 3 phase) during the month of June, 2014. The authorities has advised that it is a long procedure & will take couple of months. So I have waited & was following closely with Madukkur EB Office...after 3 months the officers visited my house & they disconnected the line & given a temporary connection from our nearby house. They said that this is the part of the procedure...don't worry, we will finish within a month. Now another 2 months went...still we are getting power from our neighbour for which they are unhappy now. The beauty is...yesterday (09.11.2014) the EB staff visited my home to take the meter reading & said..."Oh!! you are getting power from neighbour house...this is illegal...you & your neighbour will be fined INR 1, 000, 00/- (1 lakh)". [protected] What is this...???? the connection was given by EB staff only (with the knowledge of AE)...now another EB staff is coming home & saying this is illegal...it will be fined. Now really we are in a Mess...around 35, 000 INR has been paid...5 months gone...we are getting power from neighbour house...3 phase connection is still in queue (this is wat they said).       Dear sir,

      SUB:-Tamilnadu Electricity Board (TNEB) - To Put Side Arm in Electric Pole/Post
      TNEB SNPURAM, SVAKASI -626130


      I am M.SENDURPANDI, Constructing my Residence house at PasumponNagar, S.N.PURAM, sivakasi-626130, viruthunagar dist
      (My Mobile no: [protected])
      When I have bought the plot electric pole *was* not available in front of my Plot,
      When I'm returned from abroad found the LT electrical wire installed in front of my plot.
      Now, I have started to construct my house and *found the pole and electrical lines* are very near to the wall due to which the electric may flow to the house. Also, due to the wires, we are not able *to complete the front side of the building.* If we build further it would touch the Low Tension wires.
      So i visited TNEB office at SN Puram, as per instruction I applied for fixing side ARM, they took more than 3 months for put their estimation,
      and finally the included wire for 3 X 66 meters(actually its only 125 feet, ie less than 40 meters).
      they wire already laying in U shape and swinging by winds. Even-though i paid the full amount Rs. 14500/-.as per their estimation.

      still after 45 days they didn't start any work. i visited AD office at Parapatti,
      he said it will be completed this week. still they wont do. i met with AE of SNPURAM Mr. VijayaKumar at SNPuram, he said that it will not be done in this year it may take one or two years to complete.
      He have failed in their duties towards their esteemed customer and are accused of harassing, humiliating, mistreating me. They have failed in their duties to guide, direct, suggest, resolve my concern in any way possible with the dearth of knowledge and resource available to them.
      I've been made to make number of visits to the branch but with no results.

      I request you to take this into consideration and take quick action to shift/put side arm in Electricity pole.

        Sir, I am Rajamony from kanyakumari dist.My home situvated at below address Kinervetty vilai, Kuzhicode PO.Pin: 629167. Our EB office is at Kattathurai.(Kaduvetty Line). A branch of the tamarind tree is about fall down on the 3 phase line going near the road. It is very dangerous.So kindly take immediate steps to cut the branch. Please provide the top priority for this complaint. Thanks, Rajamony.

            I have taken a flat on Rent in 'Shyam Durbar' in Srinagar Colony Saidapet Chennai accupied same from 1st of September 2014 and the same was vacant for past two months, the meter reading was taken in the beginning of this month I was checking on the net after one week I saw the reading and shocked to see that the reading shows as 1725 units for ten days i.e. Rs.8884/- I went to meet AE in the IIT office he /she is not in seat and I was not able to meet and nobody to help I request the concerned authority to take necessary action as soon as possible RGDS Sultan Mohideen

              Yesterday afternoon, a line man did some work in the electric post for my neighbor and he did loosened our line wire. Unfortunately we wasn'tt in home that time, but after understanding the problem we called four to five times, simply they are replying we will come and when i call again they asking again the details for the complaint...simply they just ignored all my previous complaints, we are without current for more than 2 days now for a simple problem...see how much the EB person is responding...My address is 7/1, raja shanmugam nagar 11th street, tiruvottriyur, chennai-19.

                  It's been annoying that no one in EB center at valasaravakkam care to answer the call while power is down for about 3 hours now as I'm filing this complaint. We understand that there would difficulties to correct the falut during rain. Though some should response the customers call. Worst administration and customer service!

                      Respected Sir, Good Morning. EB reading will be taken late. Oct.2014 is a reading month. But still the EB reading didn't taken(31.10.2014). So, we are suffer to pay too much EB reading charges. So please take necessary steps to EB. Thanking you.

                      Bt meter reading was taken on 12 11 15 as a result my unit consumption exceeds 500 I e 580 units I will hv to pay 480 rupees for extra 80 units Will d authority will tk action against d staff concerned ad to refund d excess amt of 80 units cost This is due to belated taking reading though 9th ad 11th of this month is working day I hope the authority shd tk action ad to send his reply for this belated reading ad to wave exceed reading cost

                              am a resident of Nanmangalam lives in door.no1/257 ponniamman koil 2nd St., I have registered a complaint on 24th oct night by calling 1912 from my mob.[protected]. When I checked there was power supply in neighbourhood and found supply issue in our main board. When we have enquired we were told it could be because of cable fault which has laid under ground. Until Saturday there was no response to my calls or follow up with 1912. Then I somehow got Kovilambakkam Eb office contact and registered one more complaint and they had sent Line inspector on Monday afternoon after so many follow up calls. That person was demanding 10k to lay the new cable and labour charges for digging and laying. Kindly let us know as a consumer should we bear the cost as the damage due to rain and it occurred outside of my house. If at all if I have to bear the expenses what would be the cost. That line inspector refuse to share his name and he was very rude.

                                Sir, For about one year the number o[censored]nits consumed is 970 units, 1040 units, 1000 units, 720 units, 550 units and 760 units. We complained and we were asked to change the meter. The meter was changed in Sep 2013. Even after changing the meter, the number o[censored]nits consumed increased more. We r paying around Rs.5000 bimonthly. This month we are asked to pay additionally Rs.1523 as Cc Arrears. We have registered the complaint in www.tneb.in Kindly do take necessary action to check our meter and rectify this problem immediately.

                                Sir, the electrical calculation was put on top, they did not take leading in the meter though the House was closed for 2 months, but the bill was Rs:2440 for 3 units!! Being a middle class people we can't afford to pay that much amount that too in this pandemic period plz kindly go through our problem we are expecting a favorable action from u.

I have noticed Electricity wire severely damaged infront of my house and it is about to fell down. Before any unfortunate incidents happen, I request to replace with new electricity wire.

                                    Respected sir/madam,
                                    I Am a resident of BBC apartments, 89, Adyar Gandhi Nagar, 2nd main road, Chennai.There is a thick wire passing beneath the road which can actually be seen from outside.The wire has short-circuit or earthing due to rain.As it is a common area and many residents find it difficult to park vehicles and to pass through that area.They might get a severe shock which may lead to severe injury.We even informed the EB persons(BESANT NAGAR BRANCH- phone no.[protected] and they have temporarily covered it with stones.We are finding it very difficult to pass through the area.And our flat residents are also not accepting to repair it as the workers are charging a lot to repair this issue.Therefore i request your department to immediately fix this issue as soon as possible.please inform me when you find this complaint.Thank you.

                                        my consumer number is 153: 002: 283 The meter reading in my house is not taken regularly. Even if it is taken, the details are not entered in the card which is kept there all the time. I than have to go to the collection centre near Kilpauk Police station, find out the bill amount and then pay. Thrice, the meter reading has not been taken at all and the bill has been paid based on the reading I took when there was no sign of the meter reading even after the 15th of the month.I checked on line, but the meter reading was not there either. Then, the entry in the card was pre-dated 10th. This has happened a few times. Kindly see that I, a senior citizen am not put to such trouble just to my dues.
