Sir, I am a resident of Nehru Nagar, Kajamalai, Tiruchirappalli-23.For the past 1 month from evening 6pm till morning 10am there is serious low and high voltage power fluctuation in our area. All the electric equipments are getting damaged and during night, even fan could not run due to very low and high voltage supply.This happens especially in the evenings and stays throughout night. The situation continues. This has led to faults in many of household appliances. In some instances the appliances have even burnt out. Before something worse happens please take immediate action.     This complain is in regards to regular electricity failure in sanyassipuram 1st street medavakkam tank area, kilpauk, every day there is either cable fault or cut down of electricity for hours( 12 -13 hrs) no response from the electricity board to sort the problem repeated calling and informing also has no result i have a family old mother in house every night we cant sleep because of electric failure what is the govt of tamil nadu.doing sleeping or having inefficient people in the board Pathetic condition never seen in any city worst electricity board and govt is sleeping i request the chief Minister to take a step to stop this issue and help the local public to have a peacefull life to live

      I m a resident of mgr nagar, velachery. We are facing very frequent power cuts that too during night times when compared to day. As per the confirmation from our CM, we are not going to have any power cuts further more. But we can see the situation getting worse every day. As you know velachery is located near IT parks and most of them residing here are working class of people. It is very difficult to manage work at office after sleepless nights. Please help to resolve the issue on power cuts during night times at the earliest

        Misuse of common EB connection in the apartment - Reg

And we all the flat owners proportionately divide and share the EB charges against this common connection. But unfortunately we have recently noticed that this common EB connection is being misused by one of the flat owner for long time as the name of the EB connection is in his father's name ( earlier he was the land owner).         Sir, My consumer details are consumer name M.Thirunavukkarasu NO.12, Silambani south street Devakottai-630302 contact no[protected]..Our meter is not working properly sine the new electronic meter has been fixed from my house since october2013..I Wish to inform you that i am newly construct my house Ist floor.At that time i have changed my tariff No I To TARIFF No V .Due to my mistake i have not changed from tariff no V to tariff no I From February 2014 I had changed the tariff no V.to tariff no.I . I had remit the EB charges Rs.3494. We gave the complaint to the AE of our area.But he refused .Next time April 2014 reading medam told the meter was not functioning, Immediately i came to EB office and contact the concerned clerk he says please pay the amount Rs.2071. I was remit the amount on7.5.2014.Next again the June month 2014 reading Rs.3450.Again i was met the AE of our area .He says please pay the amount Rs.3450/.I was remit the amount Rs.3450 on 04.07.2014 Till date the matter was not solved for the past four months. I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM IF NECESSARY CHANGE THE METER IMMEDIATELY. Thank you with regards M.Thirunavukkarasu

            Hi, I am gunasekaran residing in No.23/30, vellala street, villivakkam, chennai-49 . we have 3 phase connection.there's is no power in one phase out of three phases.i think the power line is disconnected from the post. We have already lodged complaint with the local eb office. But nothing happened.. Please advise the local eb men to check on this. Regards, Gopinath

              Dear sir/ Madam, I am Gopinath.D working as a sales manager in Health care company, and am living in below adress from last 25 years, my adress is v.kaikatti, pirampatty post, manapparai taluk, trichy district - 621305.( comes under the Thuvarankurichy EB circle) here i mention the problem of my area Electric post was very poor condition. In my area there are 10 families are living and more childrens are playing in that place. In the year between[protected] the NH -45 process was undergone that time the EB work also gone, but the process is not performed as well as, bcoz the officers are doing a iilegal work and put the transforms in a normal land and put some amount sand to stand that the transforms that time our people's are given the warning the officers, this transform post was a not good condition so please do the work in proper condition, but the officers are not heard our words and do a careless work. Now a days we are given more complaints to the local AO officers but they are not show the interest. But they are ask about the money for changing the transform. Is there any fees need to pay for that changing the transform, if it present in road side. Long time we noticed its very damage condition, in the raining season it will cause the very sever problem, its also a childrens playing area. if any death caused by that transform, the Electricity board only full on full responsible for that. please do the needfull reply to me and take severe action also otherwise it will cause more death. p[lease take action.                   Our EB connection Service No::[protected] have been used for past 11 dues but the maximum units consumed by the service in this duration is 510 units but current due for the month of august is showing as 1260 units which is logically impossible.Since we have only 1 A/C 3 star, 5 star fridge, water heater, LED Tv, 5 star washing machine, 6 fans, 6 lamps, inverter, mixer grinder and both us were working hence only minimum consumption of power during day time.The meter reading was logically impossible.Hence please take necessary steps to repair the meter and to provide excemption for current month bill

Officials Are lethargic ... they told they will rectify today ... but today They are telling they cant work on sunday ... We will be without power for 48 hours ...we are struggling ..                       There is a huge power problem here since monday 11.8.14
                      We have place telephonic complaint at 1912
                      First they gave complaint number as 788
                      Today 16.8.14 they gave another complaint number 464.
                      The matter is not rectified abd complaints are being closed automatically
                      The person does not respond here at choolai office.
                      Please look into this matter seriously as we are running medical wholesale
                      And medicine needs to be stored at certain temperature to maintain efficacy,
                      An immediate response in this regard shall be appreciated.

                        Dear Sir, This is from M/S V.J.Industries, No:36, Kumarapuram, Jameen Royapet, Chrompet, Chennai-600044.Our is a MICRO industry.The electricity supplied to us fluctuates and we are not getting proper power to run our machines.We are getting less power from the transformer and hence our machines do no work.Even our fans do not work properly.The transformer was damaged on 11/08/2014 and the same has not been repaired till today.                           We are residing at Nethaji Avenue, Balavinayagar Koil Street, Vinayagapuram, Chennai.600099. An Electrical Post standing sencond in the street from east, which is posing danger to the local residents. It is standing as of now with two to three iron rods. It may fall at any point time. Despite several representation to TNEB no attention were made so far. May be TNEB is awaiting to witness some untoward incident to take place, then only they may take up this work to replace the pole. We hope after finding this, the TNEB may take swift action to change the electrical post at war footing action.

                            Respected sir, Living in Valliammai stree, Vijayalakshminagar, Chrompet, chennai 600044. Street post near to my house is in very damaged stage. Our street people given complain to the respective EB officer but no action taken. The post may fall at any point of time due to rain or wind. Lot of children's used to play in our street. Could you pls look into this.

                              Hello Sir, We have the interrupted Power supply and frequent long duration power cuts are happening no announcements for the past 3 weeks in Sarathy Nagar / Balamurugan Nagar area in Velachery. The worst experience is that the power gone by 3.40PM on 12th August and again supplied only by mid night. The situation continues that the power had again gone by 10.15 AM today (13th August). This has put everyone in jeopardy's situation and couldnt plan anything. Please get us informed on when this issue will be resolved. Regards, Madhan M

                                Sir, I am staying B4-Staff quarters, Government college of Engineering, Salem-636011. This month EB consumer unit is given as 1520 unit. Normally it comes around 200 to 600 unit. I contacted near by EB office . They told that this might be due to fault in the meter. They asked me to give a complaint. Really I am shocked to see the EB reading and bill. Also for the past three months maximum days no body has stayed at home. Only few electrical items are used by me. Kindly take immediate steps to check and replace the meter and adjust the excessive amount paid by me. P.Thamarai Associate Professor in Civil Engg B4-staff quarters GCE Salem-11.

                                  My name is Sankar and our residence address is 21, Nagammal colony, K.R. Nagar, Korattur Chennai. Myy TNEB Meter number is[protected]. My bill amount is actually Rs. 260. The linesman has updated the card with Rs.260/- whereas we have received a computer generated bill which shows the bill amount as Rs. 16, 790/-. We have already made several oral complaints to the Engineers at Korattur EB office. Please consider this as a formal complaint and reverse the bill amount in the system. Our bill payment due date is[protected]. We will be making a payment of Rs.260/- and we are not expecting any penality. Please take note of the complaint and do the needful at the earliest.                                   My name is Varsha and my house address is #3 Pari Street Kalakshetra Colony, Besant Nagar, Chennai-90.
                                  My TNEB consumer number is [protected].

                                  Please take note of the following complaints and do the needful at the earliest.

                                  1. I did NOT receive the bill in advance on email or on my phone. After the due date for payment passed, someone is standing outside my house saying I DINT PAY. How am I supposed to know a bill was generated without any intimation?

                                  2. HOW DID YOU GENERATE THE BILL WITHOUT TAKING AN ACCURATE READING??
                                  No one ever comes home to take the reading. My actual bill amount is Rs. 590 and I have consumed only 320 units between October and December (2018). But the computer generated bill amount was generated by blindly using the same reading from OCTOBER that shows 890 units of consumption and my bill was Rs. 4447/-. This is not accurate. and moreover, it includes delay penalty charges because of non intimation from TNEB.

                                  We have already made several complaints, online and directly to the Engineers at Besant Nagar EB office about this but in vain. Here I am, yet again, being a victim of their unsystematic and disorganized approach. This is not the first time i am facing this issue. Last time I had to take the reading myself and go show it to EB to get a bill generated. NO one comes to take a reading and the bill amount generated is random.

                                  Since my payment date has passed, I went ahead and paid the full amount. But kindly consider my complaint and reverse the excess bill amount to my system.

                                  Looking forward to a proper resolve to this issue. Kindly assist.
