I've a corporate post paid connection with DOCOMO. Since I've moved out of country I've been trying to cancel the account for the past two weeks. Sent 3-4 emails to '[protected]@tatatel.co.in' and '[protected]@tatadocomo.com'. Contacted them in Face book and twitter. In Face book, I got a reply once asking me to send email to [protected]@tatadocomo.com that I have already done. Also tried contact the customer service [protected]. After trying around 4-5 time, one guy picked up and told me that he can't help me as his computer is not working. Next billing cycle starts on 11-Aug. I need to get this account cancelled before that.

    I was a lont term user of tata photon but when I seen their speed is slow than I switch to airtel and try to find out the customer care number to tell them to disconnect my number but after 5 to 7 minutea no one conneconnected with me to lisen me this happened 5 to 6 time after the long term calling I dexided I will not use the device so that they will disconnect it, yes they disconnected but bill still coming for every month my tata photon number is [protected], I suggest its easy to buy a new connection but Its very hard to disconnect it...they frustrated you too much by their ivr syatem...so be careful when you are buying tata photon

      I have purchased tata photon wifi last fortnight and for last1 week there is no network at all. I have been calling customer care for last 4 days and they say technician will call you but there is no call from them. This is the worst network one can buy..

        I am really appalled to see the way your company has fleeced me twice. 1) About one month back I received a call from your caller tune department to get caller tune with my name (Anand Mahajan). I agreed and I was charged Rs. 270/ for one year. After a while I got an SMS that a Hindi song has been set as caller tune on my number and a process to deactivate it. As I didn't want a hindi number to be my caller tune, I instantly deactivated it.Moreover I never requested it, instead I was promised caller tune with my name and that was read to me like "Thanks for calling Anand Mahajan". I was never provided the "Call me" Caller tune facility. Later when I got my bill I was aghast to see I was charged with Rs. 270/- . Actually showing me a song as my caller tune I was deliberately prompted to cancel the caller tune the same day only. 2) Today itself ( 05/08/2014 ) again I was put into the same trap and debited Rs. 150/- for a period of Six month. I opted for the caller tune "Thanks for calling Mahajan Computers". But I got an SMS thereafter that Junoon anthem song has been set to be my caller tune. I called 121 help line thrice but the response was totally non co-operative. Each time I was told by the call centre guys that if I got the caller tune (Junoon song) cancelled Rs. 150/- would still be levied. The best part of the whole story is call centre guys told me they didn't know any numbers of the caller tune department. Totally Unbelievable !!! When I tried to call at[protected] from where I got the "trapping call", number was invalid. I want my money back for both the occasions. I am not going to take the things lying down this time over and raise this issue at every possible forum. This is a fit case to be taken to consumer court and media.               Hi Team, I have been using Tata Docomo 3G postpaid Corporate connection since Aug 2013. My Photon No : [protected] and Account No[protected]. In the month of April 2014, I was willing to migrate from Post paid to prepaid. Hence, submitted an application with Valid documents for processing the same on April 29th. But to my surprise they have rejected it saying the address proof is not valid. Hence, I submitted the application again with Aadhar Card as Address Proof. But they were processing the application lesiurely and again rejected the request saying address proof is not valid. Purposely, the back-end team/retention team is doing this to enforce the customers with post paid connection and earn money. For the third time on July 11th I submitted the application and provided Election Card/Voter's Card as Address proof and PAN Card as Identity Proof. As expected again processing of the application leisurely done and on asking for status update they came up saying that we need some more time to process your request whereas the deadline was 16th July. Again they rejected the request saying documents are not submitted. Crap!!! Whom are they trying to fool. Each time they are coming up with one or the other reason to retain and gallop money. Even after writing to Appellate desk, I didn't receive appropriate response. They seems to be very inefficient here.Even after multiple reminders they are mum. Customer Representative available at below link is also not able to help http://bit.ly/24x7LiveChatSupport. They keep on saying that as it is a Corporate A/c we can't fetch details and asking me to send a mail to [protected]@tatatel.co.in. But even they have stopped replying now. They are literally harassing me by rejecting my application even though documents are proper. I don't think they have professional ethics, only concerned about money. TRAI should take a strict action against TATA and should either impose hefty fine or cancel their license.

I had recharged of rs 500 to get benefits of Rs. 500 talktime & 2GB 3G data for 2 months. but I got only Rs. 500 talktime & not get any data balance so I call to customer care on line [protected] but & didn't get any information about 3G data balance. Please solve this issue immediately...

                  My no. [protected] Belgaum city Karnataka state My 3G connection is too slow. ..connection is not constant, once it's show 2g, next time show H, another time show 3G. I clear all cookies and manually selected 3G And I am using Lenovo smart phone and Docomo SIM in 1st slote...please slow this problem quickly..yesterday I chatted with customer executive and told about this he jusjust stop chatting

                    Postaid outgoing facility block from many days. i submitted all documents which is asked for. Please help me to make outgoing calls. Facing a lot of problem. i visited Tata Docomo office in Kormangla, Bangalore. They asked me to submit all document which I did. After that also they dint helped me.                       I am using Tata Docomo - 3G e-stick facility. Since last 15 days I am facing problems that I am not able to connect to device using 3G network. I have plan of 10 GB and have used only 2 GB as of date.
                      I called to raise complaint on 21 July but they refused to take the complaint citing reasons that this is the server issue they are facing and would be resolved in 1 day.
                      Finally they took complaint on 25 July and noted my wrong number (which I got corrected after calling them 9-10 times on subsequent days). On each day after I called them to mark my correct number they say repeatedly that you would get a call back in next 24 hours which never happened and they closed the complaint.
                      I called them again on 2 Aug for a new complaint, just to hear that in your area there are a lot of 3G stick user and you would face this problem as they do not have necessary infrastructure for this and refused to take my complaint. They told that the problem would be there till company installs new tower or server.
                      If you do not have necessary infrastructure then why did you sale all these e-sticks without taking cognizance of your own infrastructure.
                      Now I am in a situation like, I am paying rs 1011- without even getting the services that I should get from this. And customer care also not taking the complaint.
                      I have been facing network issue since last 3 months and it never got corrected.
                      I would never recommend this service to anyone.

I had activated net of rs 126 from number *141# to get benefits of 1GB data+300 mb facebook+unlimited whats app. but I got only 1GB data so I call to custumer care on line [protected] then he told me that extra benefits will be added within 48 hrs but I didn't get it so I call custumer care at 3:40 but he told that offer is closed on 31st july but on *141# it shows that offer open. And the senior of customer care talk with me very rudely. Please solve this issue immediatly.

                          Hello, I'm just another customer for Tata Docomo where I'm holding a Photon+ post paid connection (Id: [protected]) with them. I took the connection in the month of May 2014 as I was on the move and need internet for my needs. When I'm at home, I use my cabled internet with Wi-Fi and don't use Tata photon. After 2 months o[censored]se, I realized I'm paying more for post paid and wanted to migrate it to pre-paid. I registered a request with them on 25th July 2014 and the customer care person told me that I need to submit the id and address proof going to the outlet. He informed that the request would be valid till 31st July 2014 for 7 days and I need to submit the documents before that. I suggested him to improve the process to have a coordination among themselves for document sharing as I already submitted them while taking the post paid connection. But that is what the current process is and I was fine to go to the outlet for once. On 26th July 2014, I received a call from a person who identified himself that he is calling from the head office of Tata docomo located at Khan Latif Khan estate Basheerbagh, Hyderabad. He said that the pre-paid migration request is going to expire in 24hours and I need to run immediately to the outlet for document submission or else raise another request when I'm ready to go. I asked him, whom should I believe as the customer care guy told it would be valid for 7 days. He said that as he is from the head office, I need to believe him and not the customer care where himself is admitting that customer care is not up to the mark. THIS IS WHERE MY PROBLEMS STARTED. I opened an online chat with the customer care immediately to validate what the head office guy said as I know the company personnel are not trained well enough. My intention is to close the current migration request and open a new one so that in case the head office guy is right, the new request would be valid for another 24 hours from the time it is raised. I spoke to a customer care guy on 26th July 2014 over online chat so that I can hold the evidences when needed. He said, the current request cannot be closed and asked me to ignore the words of the head office and proceed with document submission. I told him that I lost trust on whom to believe and so want a new request to be in place. But he said, he cannot do because of the system limitation and ignore the head office's words. After a while, he closed my chat abruptly which was not polite. I then called a customer care person directly over phone and again the same story continues. She cannot close the current one and she said, she would place another request that I'm having issue in migrating to pre-paid and raised the one with reference number #[protected] on 26th July 2014. A day after on 27th July 2014 if I remember correctly, I received a call from the complaints department asking for my issue and I told them that I'm not ready to continue the tata photon relationship anymore and proceed with the closure formalities. Same answer was repeated that someone would get in touch with me after validating my details on the current requests that are open. She asked me to wait until 31st July 2014 as that is the closure SLA dates and post that I can raise a request for cancellation. I waited till today that is 4th August 2014 and these 2 open request crossed their SLAs and none contacted me yet. I opened a chat today with the customer care again for opening a cancellation request and once again the same answer. The guy named Somayajulu said that the previous requests are open and a new cancellation request can't be raised. Below are the problems I faced from Tata Docomo as a company and I want help in filing a complaint against them in the consumer court. Multiple reminders and no help received. Customer is running behind the Tata Docomo team and each time a new customer care guy comes in and provides the standard answers. No coordination within the company to escalate and follow up on the issue with a single person. I need to pay my photon bill during this phase as well as there is a delay in closing my post-paid internet connection. Spoke to 6 different people till date and all of them says a different process and asks me to believe them and ignore the rest. System limitation of not able to cancel a previous request that was raised by the customer all though he provides approval over phone or chat from his side to close it. I'm losing the amount I paid for the device as I'm cancelling the connection soon because of the dissatisfaction levels they caused. I have a limitation that I can't even go to the outlet for cancelling the connection as that is not the process as informed by the customer care and the outlet personnel and it should only be routed through customer care who is not really caring about the customer. I need a single person to get in touch with me with a defined mobile nummber so I can call back and don't want to waste time in explaining a new guy each and every time. With no further questions, I want to end this chaos to end my Tata Photon connection once and for all. While writing the above case statement, I tried and controlled myself not to be rude as that is not the way of expressing a problem. But the frustration I'm holding now is lot more. I'm now having thoughts of ignoring my photon bill, as the company is dragging me in that direction by delaying and not closing my connection when asked in a normal regular way.                           Day 1 Update (5th Aug 2014): Got a call yesterday evening from the escalation department of Tata Docomo. The lady assured that the problem will be resolved in 24 hours. 24 hours passed, but still waiting for the call. It would be a wonder if this will be resolved SOON as updated by Tata Docomo in the previous comment. Will post the daily update.
                          Day 2 Update (6th Aug 2014): Received a follow up call today from Tata Docomo and they closed the previous 2 open requests. They asked if I can rethink on continuing with them in pre-paid mode. I don't want to continue after all this and asked them to raise a request for closing my connection for good. A new request #[protected] has been raised now and it should be addressed in 7 days. Will wait for it and post the final outcome.
                          Final Update (24th Aug 2014): I'm happy now that I got rid of Tata Docomo 3G connection. It was closed on 18th Aug 2014 and I got my final bill on prorata basis. I had to pay some extra amount because of the delay they did in the cancellation, but anyway that is better than dealing with a team who don't have any kind of coordination among themselves if I continue. Surprisingly, today I received a call at 11:45 AM from a person who stated himself belonging to Tata Docomo. Can you guess what question he asked me? "Seems he came to know that I'm going for cancellation and he want to know the reason". He doesn't even know that my cancellation was already done on 18th Aug being in Tata Docomo. So, no more comments now on the way they work and train their employees as in my case they created a lot of mess. Unfortunately, there is no easy way where they can pay me in some fashion for all the trouble they caused to me all these days. Came here to provide an update finally to let others know.

                          Thanks to this forum for any direct/in-direct help it did for resolving my issue as I'm not sure whether the Tata Docomo team acted based on my concern here. I'll now wait for some days and will buy a 3G dongle which will provide me the flexibility to recharge my SIM directly and use internet whenever I need.

                            My photon plus network setting was in hybrid mode. Six months back I started getting low speed and network team informed me the network setting to be change to photon plus. Three weeks back I started getting low speed again and instead of photon plus network now I am receiving photon whiz network. When I called customer care they are asking me to change my home. I also told them I am facing this issue from all the places. I don't understand what kind of ridiculous service provider they are. Am so irritated with such services and most funniest part is there customer support is asking to change the service provider or home.                               Hi, I have bought Tataphoton Max with 750 plan and I tried using tataphoton data card in my village. But I only TataPhoton whiz connection is available in my area. My question is how much speed I will get in whiz network? Foe me only 4 KB/s also its not stable but in same area I used TATADOCOMO 2G pack in prepaid SIM but it gives 30 KB/s.Both are in same location but I don't know why speed is varying. So TataPhoton whiz and Tatadocomo edge are different? pls suggest If I am not getting good speed I have to deactivate my postpaid connection.

                                    I'm using 2g internet on my tata docomo prepaid sim and it's too slow...i can't use 3g as tata isn't providing us with 3g services here in our village...I'm very disappointed with tata docomo because it's speed when compared to other service providers, is miserably slow...I've tried contacting customer care but for no use...tata itself has provided with better speed some time ago but now they're just cheating customers with vulnerable services

                                      I requested for service pack activation in july worth rs.136 providing unlimited whatsapp for 180 days but there onwards i'm being charged from my balance instead of pack. I called customer care executive several times but no action was taken that could resolve the problem. Kindly see to it.                                         I am customer of tata docomo no:[protected]& [protected] . i had paid the bill of my number on due date vide receipt no:66334141 & 66336914 but still the company has barred my mobile number for the reason that i had not paid the bill in time. I am calling on the customer care 121 & 198 again and again but they are not listen at all.Even after paying them my no are barred . GUY calles RAJU spoke like ... 3rd class cm support..
