I have bought the Tata photon max wifi this month. I am extremely disappointed by the speed it is offering. My data card number is [protected]. In the site (http://www.tatadocomo.com/photon-max-wifi.aspx) it is said that it will provide speed upto 9.8 mbps. I stay in mumbai at Borivali east. I am attaching a proof of the speed.

    I needed a Data Card for my work since i am travelling and went to Tata Docomo Store at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan in Secunderabad and purchased a Tata Photon Plus Data Card. on 27/5/2014. I explained to the sales person that i am not a resident of Secunderabad and that i am from Chennai but i need a Data Card for my work. I mentioned that it is urgent otherwise i will lose a day's work and will be answerable to my manager. He told me to send him all the necessary documents by email and that the Data card would be activated by noon on 28/5/2014. I emailed him all the documents on 27/5/2014 by 8:30 pm. On 28/5/2014 i called him in the morning at 9.30 am to check if the processing has started to activate my data card and he was not picking my call at all. I kept trying and trying and either he would disconnect my call on seeing my number flash or it was coming as busy. Then at around 12 noon, some other person picked up my call and i asked him when my data card would be activated. He just kept giving me excuses saying power cut or something. I just asked him to tell me what time my data card would be activated or to call his manager and that i want to speak to him. Then only things started moving. Then at 1 pm i received a call from a person in the main office who does the processing. He said they are processing it and in some time i will get a call from the verification department to verify my details. But nothing happened for almost 1 hour. Then again i called the person in the main office and asked him why i did not get a call for verification. He told me he will check and get back. But he did not call me back. SO i called him again after 1/2 hour and then he is telling me that they need a local cell number for verification. I had given him my cell number which is outstation and that is why it is taking a long time. I told him that the sales person did not tell me that a local number is needed for verification. He told me that the sales person may not know. So then i gave him my father's cell number which is a local number and asked him to give it to the verification department. He said they will call me in sometime in the local cell number. But even then for one hour i did not get any call. I again called the person in the main office and he said now only they are updating the system, once it gets updated in the system, then only verification department will call me. Finally i received a call from the verification department at 5.15pm in the evening and then my data card was activated at 6pm on 28/5/2014. But though my data card was activated on 28/5/2014, i lost one full day's work and had to work the whole night on 28/5/2014 to complete whatever was pending. I would like to make a complaint against Tata Docomo for all the trauma, trouble and anxiety they caused to me for activating one Data card. Few other complaints against them: None of their sales persons or people at the main office speak English. They all speak only the local language. I know Telugu so i could handle them but what about customers who do not know Telugu. I am sure they are taking them for a ride. Why do they keep sales person who do not know the process of activating a Data card and what information is required? Why do they have a separate process for prepaid data card and postpaid data card? Why do they need a local cell phone number to activate a data card? What if someone does not have a local cell phone number so they cannot buy a Data Card outside the place where they reside? Everywhere ads say that Customer is King, it is very easy to get a cell phone activated or a data card activated. But it is nothing like that. The company or sales people make the customer run here and there to buy something or get something activated. Very poor Customer service and no professionalism at all from Tata DoCoMo.

      Dear Sir, My account number is[protected]. This account is already deactivated. I am continuously receiving mails and SMS regarding activation since we had purchased those connections. We are daily receiving 7 mails and same number of SMS for activation. This is daily happening. Please stop those SMS and mails. There is no proper action taken from your side. There were many commitments from your customer care side regarding mentioned issue. Still that is not resolved and no response from your side. We have cancelled all those connections and same has been communicated to your [protected]@tatadocomo.com mail id. Those connections were already deactivated on 4th May 2014. At least now stop those daily unwanted mails and SMS.

          4 months back I purchased TataDocomo card. I sent all the document to abhijit.[protected]@tatatel.co.in While purchasing card I paid 3 months advance that is around 450 rs. But card was not activated for 2 months. For this I sent mail to Same person, [protected]@tatadocomo.com also register complain on tatadocomo site but no one from tatadocomo tried to contact me. (Received one call from sell team and they promise new sim) After 4 months company send me bill for 4th month ? this is how tata docomo is working. Worst thing is, yesterday I called to helpdesk 1st person refused to take complaint by giving me excuse is system is down.I called again after one minute and asked first question about system and I got reply it is working .then I raised complaint

              Hi, I have Called Tata doco mo customer care and requested them to change my Post paid plan to GSM Dual benefit 199 from Freedom 749. They sad that there is a caller tune active and please deactivate it and call us again. I have deactivated Call me tunes and the IVR said it will deactivate in 120Hours(My God). On 21st I have called Customer service again and the guy said that corporate connections can only be changed through mail so please mail to [protected]@tatateleservices.co.in. I have did that but till date (27th may) i wrote multiple mails but i never got a satisfied reply. My billing cycle is from 22nd of every month and one of the customer care guy said that it will only change in next billing cycle. Till date neither my callme tunes got deactivated nor my plan changed. Every time i get different answers from customer care executives.I am completely frustrated by the poor service.                 As per our discussion over the call, we would like to inform you that we have already registered your request of cancellation on 28-May-2014 02:50PM and initiated the process of disconnection with the docket number[protected].
                We would like to inform you that ?
                i. The outgoing services of this number will be barred within 72 hours.
                ii. Temporary disconnection will happen on the 7th day and the billing on the above mentioned connection would stop on the 7th day from the date of cancellation request registered.
                iii. The number will get permanently disconnected within 15 days.
                iv. Your current outstanding is Rs. 1385/- and due date is[protected].
                v. Your billing cycle is 25th of every month, hence, you will receive final bill on prorate basis post disconnection.

                  I have DND activated on my number. I have emailed and complained many times but nobody is bothered. Nobody understands english. On the contrary, incompetent fools who recieve mails directed to the nodal office respond back with english worthy of primates and apes. Your customer care people out right say that these flash sms alerts offering various packs for Rs 45 come by themselves under the "Dive in now" name. Besides I am a gold customer and I am treated like a fool from your company. About 3 times when i unlocked the phone the "ok" button has been pressed while taking a call and balance has been cut. And when I complain to the customer care all I get is a "saaaar you have actovated the monthly sms pacck" in some incomprehensible language. It takes more than a week for your nodal officer of Karnataka Ms Sunita geroges retard appellate advisors to reply back and say that "we have taken note of your complaint" and after that there is no reply In between i stil get flash sms alerts even though I have blocked the SMS push alerts in my mobile phone.                     I was asked to pay Rs 1650 as churn out fee for discontinuing my Tata Docomo 3G dongle (number [protected] ). No information was provided by company during my purchase of the connection. Also, it is no where mentioned in my Bill Plan. I received a call from their retention department who gave me an offer, so that I continue with Tata Docomo services. The offer is as follows: The Unlimited 5GB plan which would have cost me at a rental of Rs 750 per month was offered at Rs. 600 per month and that too with an additional discount of Rs. 200 for this month. Also, he assured me that I could give cancellation request again, if not satisfied. The offer effectively meant that my current bill should have been between Rs 400 and 500 including service tax. However, this is not the case. My bill actually shows monthly rental of Rs. 675 (charges from 23/04/14 to 19/05/14…not even complete 1 month) and total bill of Rs. 758.43 I sent multiple emails to Tata Docomo customer care and also escalated to Level 4, but failed to earn any response from them. Can you please help me against this harrassment. Thanks in advance.

                        I had taken a wifi doongle from tata docomo in the month of jan 2014 and i had paid a advance of rs 4500 for three months which included the cost of the device and 3 months of 15 gb rent and now when the three months are over i have shifted to other plan and want to discontinue their services for wrong bills and bad words used on line by their executive and also tata executive is demanding more money for closing the account as i have paid all the dues and nothing is in balance on my post paid photon device, i wnt to take a legal action on tata docomo for mainly three reasons
                        First use of bad word from the executive on line chat
                        Second wrong bill and excess amount and no network even after my several complaints

                        Third even after paying for the device in advance how the company can again ask me for paying for the device

                        Pls help me or i will give this to the media

                          My name is pintu garai. I took a docomo postpaid connection on 24th september 2013.
                          My taken plan is rs.999/-, in which i got 5 sim and unlimited free in 5 sim besides others calls free 3000 mins, free 3000 sms and free 1 gb internet. My account no.[protected]. My docomo five sim numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected].

                          In first month i got bill rs.828/- which i paid.
                          In second month i got bill rs. 1115/- which i paid.
                          In third month they started cheating on my bill. They billed me rs. 2397/-. That is ridiculous.

                          When i saw the bill on 17th january 2014, i call customer care immediately and they told me that i used internet more than 1 gb which effected on the bill.

                          But i checked my account in the official site of tata docomo on the same day and their website still showing that i used only 960 mb out of 1gb. Even it was showing the next month usage also that is 29 mb out of 1gb.

                          After that i mailed them and they called me. I told the whole matter clearly but they didnot want to understand rather than to adjust of rs.250/- from rs.2397/-. I did not agree with them. Because i knew that is their fault.

                          After 10 to 15 days. They closed my outgoing calls, sms and internet. Then i paid rs.1000+500 (Extra) and told them to adjust. But they did not.

                          And i stopped using my 5 sim.
                          After that
                          On third month they billed me rs.1116+898(Previous bill balance)= rs.2013/-
                          On fourth month billed me rs.2117/-
                          On fifth month billed me rs.2931/-

                          But i did not use those 5 sim for this 3 months.

                          Now they threat me and send me legal notice to pay bill.

                          I never know that like a big company treated like this for taking the money from people.
                          That is samefull.

                          I can pay the bill, it's not a matter. But in future, i will never trust or go for any product of this company and never suggest anyone.

                          Even if anyone can easily verify that this company do cheating with every postapaid holders on third month's bill by servey to any of this company's hub, guaranteed.
                          In a day, 2 to 3 person are comming to solve their problem for excess billing in these hubs. But customer care executive can't do any thing. Because they are for just showpice.

                          I attached some documents which proof i am true.

                            I had purchased a TATA Docomo Wifi max dongel and took the plan for 5000 rupees where I got the dongel free with 3 months of free wifi internet. The service had started in January 2014 and I had free internet till April 2014. I had cancelled my subscription by the end of March 2014. In May 2014, I received a bill for the amount 1124 which was listed as a Churn fees. Apparently churn fees is charged to consumers if they cancel the account within 6 months o[censored]sage. At the time of purchase and at the time of cancellation, I had not received any oral or written communication about this churn fees. I refused to pay the amount and had been getting constant calls during working hours from the collection agency asking for the payment. I had sent an email to the company's complaint redressal email ID post which I got a call from them accepting their mistake and reducing 250 rupees from the total bill. Even after acknowledging that they as a company are obliged to inform the customers of all the fees involved and after accepting that they had failed to inform me about the fees, they still did not waive off the entire amount. This is equivalent to cheating the customer by charging amounts that had never been mentioned. I hope suitable action is taken against this issue and other customers do not fall prey to this.

                              I bought tata photon WiFi on 23/05/2014 and submitted documents on same day. After repeated request to the dealer, customer care told me they have received all docs but I have to wait for another 48 hours for activation.this is oon 26/5/2014.I was told it would become active in 24 hours poor service.                                 My Tata Docomo Number is ([protected]).Previously I have used this no in airtel and then i have ported out to docomo after my due amount and then i used in TATA DOCOMO service for more than one month.Suddenly my incoming was aborted and then i have contacted docomo customer care service then they told me that my previous airtel bill was not paid.so they aborted my incoming calls.And immediately i made my bill payment..I want to know that why the airtel interviened during my TATA DOCOMO usage after cleared my pending payments also why airtel and docomo hesitated to activate my service.If you given such kind of poor service then why you are conveyancing other network uses to TATA DOCOMO.If i have not recieved solution of activation of sim for the same number([protected]) within 24 hours then i wil take it up legally and will forward my experience with TATA DOCOMO in social networks...

                                  Sir, My name is Ayush Chaudhary. I am a Tata Docomo Postpaid customer. Tata Docomo has charged extra Rs 230/- on my mobile bill for the month of may. It has been charged extra for internet usage. My no. had internet pack but still they have charged me for internet usage. And now when i am complaining I am not getting any support from tata docomo. I joined this company with lots of expectations but now i think its all in vain. i am not at all happy with the type of service they are providing to the cust so i want to get rid of them but when ever i m trying to port my number i m not getting any kind of help or support from them. This is a very shame thing for them.

And after 7 years i have not received refundable amount to me.

                                    My complaint is yet to be resolved. When i raised my complaint on this forum that time i received call from Tata Docomo representative and she assured me that my refundable amount would be adjusted in my upcoimg photon pluse bills. But that actullay not happened and my complaint is still un resolved..

                                      yesterday, after using the internet there is deduction of 150 rs from my account.I talk to customer care executive they told the reason it was due to multitasking.i am not aware of deduction of multitasking.The company not even make me awre of that.i ask for such raduction rate they cut off the line.my experience of talking to customer care executive is very bad.i talked to nitesh tiwari and pankaj kumar of noida.I am using tata docomo since 9 years and has more than 8 connections of tata docomo in family members hand.kindly make refund of my money otherwise i have no option other than portability

                                        Hi, I have recharged a 3G data pack for Rs. 499, which has a 2 GB of 3G data.Talktime : Rs. 500. Validity : 60 Days. Its nowhere mentioned that "Post Free Data Usage Charges - 10p/10Kb", so can you start charging me once my free data got over. You should have stopped my internet data service instead. I called Tata Docomo customer care executive, who told me that my free data got over yesterday (7 May 1979) at 9.52 pm and then after I was charged Rs. 328/- for using 32MB data, which is 10p/10kb. I want to know, if your online recharge voucher of Rs. 499/- does not mention post free data usage charges, then how can you deduct my balance? This has happened thrice since my past recharges of Rs 499. I am attaching a screenshot of online recharge options for your reference. I have been following up with Tata docomo customer care over emails, but every time they are saying it's correctly charged. I am filing this complaint because they have not mentioned the post free data usage charges on their official site, but still how can they deduct from my account balance.
