tiago xz petrol model pickup problem

I brought tiago xzo petrol in june but after taking it to ghat road and normal road it is not taking pick up as most of other car taking take... Really there's is problem in tata petrol fule pump... Taigo is it giving pick o road as their may be problem in fuel pump as it short. For fuel... I have reviewed all complaint on consumer forum about tata toiago is of fuel pump... Rectify the issue as early a possible......

Hi,
I own Tata Nexon XM diesel model, i am facing frequent acceleration drop issues while driving and i am facing this issue from the beginning and it has increased a lot recently.. I have been reported the issue in service center 3 times till date.. they are not able to find the issue or rectify it. This issue is making my drive very risky as it suddenly drops the acceleration while overtaking. Please help me in getting the car repaired, Thank you.

Hi,

My Vehicle has been picked today morning and they are still unable to find the issue. Not sure how should i show the issue i am facing on long drives, Please compare the similar issue which is faced by other Tata nexon diesel cars and try to resolve or at least find what is causing the issue.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Please read the below content and address my concern as soon as possible.

    TATA NEXON 5 star rating safest car in india .. Is it so????????????????

    For me, it is not at all a safest car. 4 days New car having engine problem!!!
    Everyday it was giving different problem and within 5 mins of driving, engine get stopped and displaying TEMP alert in dashboard as well as producing burn smell with smoke from engine.

    Let me explain my problem in more detailed. I hope, people won't have interest to read this big paragraph. But my concern is, if we are buying our INDIAN make car, what kind of issues we will face it and all listed it here.

    Bought my car on 3rd August 2019 at 4.30 pm in Lakshmi Tata Motors, OMR, Chennai. On 6th August only, i got the number plate(TN 14 U 2071). Until that, we haven't used the car due to traffic rules.

    On 9th August, we started travelling from chennai to salem.
    Problem what we faced and what kind of response received from dealership and service center are listed below,

    1) On 10th August 11am, we started our travelling from Salem to Yercaud - Salem District. Within 5 mins of driving, engine suddenly get stopped at middle of the traffic road(5 road area) and displayed the temp alert in dashboard. Immediately, We made a call to nearby service center, i.e TATA True Sai at selam. They came after 2 hours and they said radiator hose has been removed. So that the liquid was leaked it out.They have taken my vehicle and return back my car at around 6.45 pm. TATA True Sai replied us "Reloaded the coolant liquid and replaced the hose. No problem in your vehicle. So you can use it now.

    Great Response from Service center for my first issue:
    You people travelled in rough and tough road. So that the radiator hose may get damaged and leaked it out. Is this the proper reason?

    2) Based on their statement, we have taken the vehicle to Yercaud - Salem District around 9.30 pm. Next day 11th august at 2.30 pm, again within 5 mins of driving, engine suddenly get stopped and produced burn smell with smoke from engine. As per TATA True Sai advice, We opened the bannet and we could see the radiator liquid was fully loaded upto the end of the lid.

    Great Response from Service center for second issue:
    Again we made a call to service center and simply telling, in hill station we could get this kind of smoke. Open the bonnet and make it cool for 40 mins and then start driving. Is this the proper reason from service center?
    - We can't able to breath that smoke smell. Along with us, 1.5 years baby also travelling with me. How could they say like this? Even, we have driven
    ~4 kms only. For that itself producing, this much burning and smoking smell. How could i continue my travel with this vehicle.
    - Finally 7 pm, service person came and collected my vehicle and kept it in a unknown petrol bunk. Whether is it correct way to keep the customer vehicle in unknown places instead of keeping it in service center. So, i had lodged one complaint no.[protected] dated 11th August.
    - On 12th August morning 11am itself, i got a call from TATA True sai and again simply telling, no issues in your vehicle. Please come and collect your vehicle. This time, i don't have hope on them.
    I won't collect my vehicle and return back vehicle to chennai dealer. Let me come and speak with chennai showroom dealer like that i said and dropped my call.

    Today is 18th August, as of now, am not getting any calls/responses from True sai, salem and Lakshmi tata motors, chennai. Even am not getting response from Tata motors, customer care.
    Is this correct way of treating the customer in TATA motors?

    Continuously we have waited on the road with our 1.5 year baby two days more than 3 hours and we don't know how to stop his crying. If he is a grown up boy we can find alternative to fulfill his expectation but we don't know what to get and where to get to fulfill my baby expectation.

    Doctor advised my husband not to use two wheeler because he have some medical issues due to that he undergone two major surgeries, We have planned to purchase a car. But due to this issue, he is traveling in a cab for a week even though we spent money to own a car.

    Past two weeks my husband worried a lot on the lack of response from the service station, show room & customer care because of the stress, if he again get affected means, who will be the responsible person for this.

    After purchasing this car from TATA Motors we have felt frustration, stress, illness, tension instead of happiness. Till now no one from customer care or service station or show room are thinking in our perspective. If so then they will call us frequently to update the status and taking the steps to replace their bug car which was delivered to me. As of now nothing was happened due to that we can confirm that their primary motive to sell their car not to maintain the relationship with the customer who own the same.

    Our Government and social media are motivating people to purchase a INDIAN make product, if the situation happen like this then how the people as like me
    from middle class family will think about to purchase a INDIAN product.

    Initially I planned to take a car from Toyota but due to patriotism I purchased a car from TATA. Now am suffering with the decision which I made after seeing the enjoyment of my friends who purchased the car of i20 from Hyundai and Glanza from Toyota.

    Our final hope, this comment will reach out to any higher official of TATA Motors Group and they will consider our request and fulfill our expectation
    by replacing the car which cause continuous breakdown with new one within the stipulated time as per citizen chart. Please do meaningful on the money 11+ Lakhs which we spent on your TATA organization.

    Am expecting very good solution from TATA Motors as early (replacement of my 4 days new car).

      I have bought my car on 13th march 2019 from concorde baker, after 1 month two problem arised, bubbles came inside coating and plastic material between bonnet and viper getting faded.
      I have logged four complaints regarding this.
      First problem gets resolved but second one gets resolved but for second one they are just avoiding don't know why.
      I got tired calling concorde and tatamotors. They are very unprofessional. Just saying they will solve it but doing nothing.

        I have purchased nexon new car on april 2019, from (Kvr dream vehicles, kannur) tata a reputed and my favourite company. Upon driving discovered many problems. When i brought to notice to the dealer and they never care about then find some good service provider at my native coimbatore sr tranzcars, and still the vehicle is there only for service. I’m very disappointed and shocked from what happened and i find a situation very irritating. A new car shouldn’t be like this...
        While i do understand that manufacturing errors do happen still i cannot comprehend that the fact that the car was not properly tested before handover.

        We felt waste of money, time and lost peace. I will be happy if you replace or fixing the problems permanently.

          1. Accessories was not fitted properly it came off within 2 days checked with sales they said it will be fixed on 1st service. Gave for service yesterday informing the same, it wasn't fixed?
          2. I am a tcs employee l enquired about platinum service membership i was told by sale that it all will be taken care on 1st service by the rep. Again i asked on giving for 1st service and no one cared to get back.
          3. I took tata motor finance i got a reminder msg on 14 aug for emi till 16th aug no amount got deducted, i took initiative to get tata finance spoc and talked to veera they said my cheque is applied and probably will take a day or so as 15th aug was holiday. And today morning i get a call from tata motors service or call center asking me why i didn't pay my due.
          Such a worse experience all throught out with all departments no one really takes care of customer.
          Being a tcs er /tata employee i came to buy a car from tata motors completely stunned by the customer service. Will think twice to step into tata motors again? Or even recommend to others.

          Just thought i should register this concern, not sure even this will be attended to or left aloof.

            Kindly check and let me know what actions you had taken, all the payments were made and myself was kept in dark vehicle is about to deliver. This could not take more than two months in delivering a vehicle if we had all the system in place.

              Hi tata motors,

              I trust in your dealers. However, i am having a tough time in dealing with aly tata palakkad dealers. They have not delivered tata tiago which i have ordered in may.

              They promised to deliver a car in 15 days after i have given them the full amount. Now my 2 months emi has been deducted but no car.

              They are not giving a proper response and delaying it. They keep on giving hopes that it will be delivered in 1 week but keep on extending.

              Please do something about this. It's better if you cancel their dealership itself.

                Full description:

                So i bought a new car which is a tata tigor xz+ from concorde motors khairatabad branch on 22nd of march. After 7 days of purchase, i had problem with the suspension which was recitified by the servicing centre. After running the car for about 1300 kms, the car started making a lot of noise, sounded like a tractor. The gear knob starts vibrating.in bumper to bumper traffic, releasing the clutch makes terrible mechanical noise. I have raised multiple complaints to tata motors, but everytime they have failed to rectify the issue. The last they did was clutch plate was replaced and sound proofing inside the cabin was done which was of no use. They are not fixing the root cause, which is the gear box in itself. I have recorded videos as proof as everytime i go to the workshop, the technicians do not acknowledge my problem at all. They have been been making me run around for over 5 months now. Currently these are the following issues i have in my car:
                1.in lower revs 800-1500 rpm the car makes a rattling noise. As if the gear is not placed.
                2. The noise level. The car feels very harsh and noisy inside the cabin. I told the sales executive about it and he mentioned that as i keep driving the car, the noise levels will go lower.in my case the noise levels went higher and even the vibrations kicked in. The engine on higher rev's makes that growling noise and even the gear lever starts vibrating.
                3. The car feels jerky around 2nd, 3rd & 4th gear.
                4. Above 100 speed the streering and car starts vibrating like anything.
                5. Press and unpress the clutch it will make a huge noise. As if a hammer is being hit on a metal.
                6. Above 100 speed theres a burning smell inside the cabin.

                I am attaching all the videos about the car problem and email threads that i had sent along with the complaint numbers.

                Desirable resolution: i want a full refund or replace the car.

                Yes! The Car has been picked up on Friday i.e 16th August 2019. I am not sure if my problem will be resolved because the technical team doesn't seem very keen on replacing the gear box & Air filter assembly.

                No update from Concorder Motors Sanath nagar on th car till now. Called the Service manager of Concorde motors and was told that CSM Mr. Krishnakanth will get back to me with the Plan of Action. Have not heard from him till now.

                No updates from neither Concorde Motors nor from Tata Motors Customer Service Manager Mr. Krishnakanth.
                Heights o[censored]nprofessionalism. Have tried to reach out to Mr. Krishnakanth multiple times but his phone is not reachable. Car has been in the workshop for 7 days without any update.

                Lodged a Consumer Grievance in Department of Consumer Affairs India.

                No Reply from the representative of Tata Motors CSM Mr. Krishnakanth Cheripelly. I have called him multiple times, Disconnects my calls. Messaged him as well but in vain. No response. Screenshots are attached for reference.

                I got in touch with Mr. Ragesh Nair, The Service Manager Concorde Motors Sanath nagar. He has been asked to tell me that the car doesn't have any issue. I asked them to give it to me in writing.

                I am surprised with the level of incompetency of Tata Motors. My car has been lying in the workshop for over a week now.

                As expected, Concorde Motors have denied that there is any problem with the car. I am not surprised with their response. This has been going on for over 6 months now. They have mentioned that the sound in the video is an "operational noise."

                  Dear sir/ madam,

                  I am herewith giving my harrowing experience after buying a Tata Nexon. I am looking for a permanenet fox for the problems listed below:

                  Vehicle: Tata Nexon, XZ+ Diesel

                  Registration Number: KA 04 MV 5125

                  Purchased at Prerana Motors, WOC, Rajajinagar, Bangalore.

                  I've been given a peach of a vehicle which has had problems from Day one.

                  1. A car manufactured in Feb 2018 was delivered in end October, 2018. It must have been gathering dust and rust in some open yard.

                  2. The car was delivered with water logging in the spare wheel well. The water logging must have been for a very long time as the spare wheel was rusted. After multiple appeals, the wheel was finally replaced.

                  3. From day one, have been having problem of gear shifts. The third gear slips very often and I am caught unawares. I accelerate and realize its in neutral and have to downshift to second gear and attempt reshifting to the third. It fails many times or is very hard.

                  4. The fifth gear vibrates a bit and after slotting the gear, the gear knob readjusts or falls back a bit on its own.

                  5. The sixth gear keeps vibrating with a nagging sound and I feel the vibration on the gear knob and the unbearable sound near the dashboard. The sound remains as long as I am accelerating. Its really troublesome and impedes my lsitening to music and also have to fend with lots of questions from fellow passengers.

                  6. The reverse gear is hard to engage sometimes and gives a 'krrrr' sound some other times. Its rare to see the reverse gear shift smoothly when engaged.

                  7. The rear parcel tray hinge on one side (right) has broken and Prerana Motors, Peenya service center never has the right spare part to replace the unit.

                  8. When the steering is completely turned to one side, sometimes, its very hard to move it back. Almost feels like its locked and have to struggle to turn it.

                  The car is now more than eight months old and repeated complaints to Prerana Motors, Peenya service center has not helped. they have tried to solve the probelm but to no avail.

                  Out of frustration, I am taking the car to COncorde Motors, Kudlu gate, Bangalore for 22, 500 kms service. I hope they can addres all these concerns more efficiently. With so many niggles, its getting more and more annoying to drive the car and am getting exasperated.

                  I am looking for a permanent fix for all these irritating niggles mentioned. Please let the service team at Concorde Motors, Kudlu gate, Bangalore know the problems so that it can be rectified at the earliest.

                    This is Sunil Khurana from Delhi, Mukherjee Nagar. For service, a serviceman named Kuldeep came from Wazirpur Hemkund, who has damaged the car. Its festive session and due to their driver, I can not even go anywhere and also not attend my meetings. The car has been picked up by the company for servicing purpose but I am not satisfied with their terms and services as they are not working effectively. And also my car has now become an accidental car.

                      निवेदन है कि प्रार्थी ने 26 जून 2019 को tata tiago xm जिसका chasis no. Mat626241kkc28455 है जो कि r. A. Motors pvt. Ltd. Farrukhabad (U. P. Pincode – 209625) से खरीदी थी। उपरोक्त डीलर द्वारा अभी तक प्रार्थी को r. C नहीं दी गयी है जब कि प्रार्थी ने उपरोक्त डीलर के कार्यालय में जाकर कई बार r. C. की मांग की लेकिन न तो r. C. दी गयी और न ही कोई संतोषजनक जबाव दिया और कहा कि हमने आपकी कार से इतनी कमाई नहीं की है जो कि हम आपकी r. C. मे समय नष्ट करें एवं यह भी कहा कि हम आपकी r. C. अभी नहीं दे पायेंगे।
                      उपरोक्त संबंध में कई बार r. A. Motors head office etah (U. P - 207001) को भी सूचित किया गया लेकिन वहां से भी कोई संतोषजनक जबाव नहीं दिया गया। इस विलम्ब प्रकिया से प्रार्थी को समय एंव धन की भी हानी हुई है।
                      अतः आपसे निवेदन हैं कि प्रार्थी की कार की r. C. को जल्द से जल्द दी जावे एवं पत्र के माध्यम से यह भी सूचित किया जाये कि प्रार्थी की कार की r. C. में इतना विलम्ब क्यों किया गया। अन्यथी प्रार्थी को मजबूरन अदालत की शरण लेनी पडेगी।

                        faulty car. need a replacement or refund

                        The car that i have received has too many issues with it, mentioning a few which are o[censored]tmost concern below:
                        1. My brand new car leaks. Not exaggerating but it water seeps in from every other side in the car.
                        2. The gearbox is faulty.
                        3. Wheel cap pops out automatically. 4. Door light does not work.
                        5. The hand brake works on its own will

                        I do not wish to risk my life with such a faulty product...

                        Sadly i am one of your bulk buyers of commercial and passenger vehicle and sadly i am one of the customers who is suffering i would just give you a brief of what mental agony and torture i have been through since the day i have bought a tata nexon nearly 12 months back and you check for your records with my car there are atleast 5 complaints sent to various head of department and customer care team

                        40 days back on july 2nd 2019 i tata nexon vehicle broke down on the road and my vehicle was towed to the nearest workshop after 2 days i was told water has been found in my fuel pump and injector it needs a complete replacment after keeping the car for 28 days wasan motors tata dealers tell me that tata motors has agreed to pay 50 percent of the cost of your part replacement and I shall bear the remaining which i didnt want too i wanted to go to court and pay my entire bill and take delivery of the vehicle which everyone at wasan requested me saying i am a loyal customer a tata fan and i shouldn't be doing this which I agreed i was given the car and was told that all is sorted and I thought it was a happy ending but not to be until I drove the car and after 10kms the car started taking jerks now after this i call the wasan motors team they ask me to get the car back whenener i have the time suprisingly after 29 days alsoni recieve my car with a dent, horn not blowing/working and my wiper blades changed and my own wiper blade set kept in the boot suprising!!! I was tild by wasan rhat the dent will be repaired which i didnt take the favour and repaired the horn wiper blades and dent on my own pictures are attached. This is not the end of the nightmare after this vehicle breaks down does not start on the flyover the diesel supply is not reaching the engine after calling the tata helpline number a custodian was arranged and he says the wire was bitten by a rat and next morning i am told some timer has gone and vehicle will take 2 more days and they say that its not the injector and furl pump some timing belt and need not worry its under warranty. Warranty are you kidding me.

                        I need a few answer now from TATA mr CEO sir please this is just not one another customer complaint i am a geniune Tata fan or was and i am the next door neighbor of ratan tata sir and due to my trust in him i trust his brand TATA which I believe is not in the right hands.

                        Please give me answers for my query below.

                        1. How on earth do i trust the dealer who has given me car damaged with dent wiper blades changed and after 29days of wear and tear my vehicle is not fit.

                        2. When my vehicle was damged why was not i informed and when the entire fuel pump and injectors were changed why was fuel not reaching the engine and when there were jerks in the car why was not i informed and a thru check was done and why was the car handed over when it was not perfect

                        3. Lastly when the fuel pump and injectors are changed and still the problem persists why and how on earth can i trust you at that the same things which were changed are not the cause and its something else as i have heard 3 stories rat bite, less fuel lucas changed it lucas checked it for god sake be real sir i bought a tata car if food is bad a hotel cannot blame the chicken or paneer vendor now timing belt or something latest.

                        I need answers please else i have no option but to reach court.

                          I had bought my tata zest xt in 2016. Now since jan 2018, i was having a problem of back wheel getting jammed if i don't drive the car for 2 to 3 days. The vehicle will move only after a thud noise as if some lock is released and then for some km's the wheels will make some noise. I had complained this to tafe service center at greams road but even after multiple services, the problem is not solved. They are saying that the hub and drum are rusted which is true as i saw that last time at the service center, photos enclosed. I am pretty sure that it is because of defective material or else how is it possible that in three years the hub and drum are getting rested. I need the hub and drum of my car to be replaced immediately free of cost.

                            Hi i am use last 6 months tiago i am very happy to see mileage in odometer showing 18 to 20 km/l
                            But practically actual it's consumption is 14 to 16 km/l
                            It very wrong & i am complaint in service center also but no results is coming they are check full to full tank on highway for 30 km
                            But this time milage is 22 -24 km /l & showing
                            Same
                            But after this we continue check 4-5 times its showing 19-22 km/l but actual is 14 to 16 km/l
                            Am check so many times with different - different fuel pump
                            But results is same
                            Practically mileage is very low
                            In odometer its showing good
                            I am very tired
                            So if no solution comes i sell this car
                            & request to all never purchase tata car because showing good mileage but practically not good

                              Hi i am rajasekhar from hyderabad.

                              This is really worst service i didn't expect. I am getting a question, that i purchased a new car or scrap? Not even completed 7 month to 8 months, getting multiple issues.

                              1. Getting break issue (Not working properly) informed to service center people at the time of giving car for (1st servicing, 2nd service, 3rd service also).
                              Service centre people saying that it will be the same for all the cars. I hope, we are not using the bullock carts to stop the vehicle easily?

                              2. Engine oil is ejecting drop by drop and sprinkling over the other parts. Which is a major problem. Even if we turn on the a. C, temperature is not stable. If the engine is not correct, then how the car is certified by quality analyst and by the service engineers?

                              3. Best funny part of another issue is, accelator will not works suddenly. Informed same to service center people, saying that car is working fine, you don't know how to drive. Without knowing anything government (Rto) issued license for me? And also i am having 2 more cars.

                              Providing answers is not a solution to any problem?

                                I purchased the car on 17-04-18 from berkely motors rsa). During purchase whatever commitments done by sales team not complied after payment rather ignored the calls & others. I had to pay extra charges for change of address wrongly input by them. Since then harrasement started.

                                Then the ecm of the new car malfunctioned, engine was stopped, car was towed but no effective & permanent rectification done. As a result 3 more times the same problem continued and the last problem occurred today[protected] at 18 hrs. Accordingly intimated but not rectified yet.

                                It seems the car has mfg. Defects and the authority does not pay any serious attention and not bother about customer sufferings, road safety issues etc. And it is very common for any person with this continuous problem to suspect defective car has been sold.

                                As the the problem persists & appears repeatedly the defective part or ecm system should have been replaced by the co for permanent solution. But both the co. And distributor are indifferent which is not expected.

                                In this circumstances my earnest request to the management to have permanent solution of malfunctioning of the car else car would not be accepted. Already mailed and talked to customer care explaining the concern.

                                Tata motors and it's distributor are solely responsible for this.

                                  Dear tata customer care service team,

                                  I purchased tata tiago xz petrol version last (2018) year may.

                                  During delivery dealership doesn't give the chance to select car
                                  Car is delivered with dent on body and scratches in console.

                                  From the 1st service itself i raised complaint about cluster meter issue. At the time of delivery service center said it was corrected but it is not working properly, the same concern i raised in 2nd service and also i got the issue in rh side head light adjustment, this 2 complaints are not resolved in 2nd service. Before 3rd service i went again for head light correction. Finally i went 3rd service i got safety concern fuel leakage from the fuel tank (It wasn't even dripping, it was flowing).

                                  After inquired i come to know that there is the problem in fuel pump, and service person committed to change the pump, it tooks 2 weeks.

                                  After changing of fuel pump i got worst mileage in my car. (Max 14km/liter in highway) regarding this issue i asked in service center,
                                  They convincing me that 14km/ltr is good only the other customers are getting only 9km/ltr.

                                  Due to this many issue i very fad up on my expectation of tata tiago.
                                  If want 18 to 20km/ltr want i have to do can you suggest or else change the quote in your specification.

                                    engine oil leakage,

                                    Hello all, i have purchased tata nexon on april 2018 and on my 3rd service the service engineer said that there is a leakage in the engine oil doorway, i went through the net, there is lot of complaint on the same issue. New buyers please check in this issue with the sales. Now i am waiting for my service team to get some parts from some other state i guess i don't know why. Also i am not aware if my warranty is going to cover this. Hope...
