Nexon xza+ bought on june 22nd, 2019 at venkataramana motors, gachibowli, hyderabad.
1. As soon as i took the vehicle for delivery, in 5 minutes, in peak traffic, the vehicle voice command said low fuel level and the vehicle stopped suddenly. This caused a traffic jam. I called the sales person and they sent staff who said the vehicle does not have petrol. How can a new vehicle be delivered to the customer without petrol? This caused severe stress to me and my family, having the car stop 5 mins after taking delivery. The showroom staff apologized, pushed the vehicle to the side and brought petrol to fill the tank.
2. 6 days after purchase, on june 28th, 2019, while i was driving on the highway, high coolant temperature indicator and check engine indicator blinked along with alarm. I parked road side and called the showroom. The sales man contacted the technician on conference call. The technician asked me not to start the car, and came personally to fix the problem. He showed me that the coolant pipe is dislodged and the coolant has leaked. He fixed the pipe and refilled the coolant tank to max with water and told me to report it to the service engineer during first service.
3. First service at 1100 km, given to venkataramana service center at kondapur, hyderabad on july 11th, 2019. I informed service engineer vijay about the coolant leakage issue. He checked the coolant tank and said that he will refill the coolant tank (Which was showing low) and take care of the issue.
Car returned to me on july 15th, 2019 at 7 pm. I was driving home from tata service centre in peak traffic and suddenly after 10 km, high coolant indicator and check engine signal displayed with alarm. By the time i could park the vehicle on the side, the car stopped in the middle of traffic and did not start. This caused a traffic jam and a lot of mental stress to me.
I took help and pushed the vehicle to the side of the road, checked the coolant and it was empty. The coolant pipe was also dislodged. I called the service center and he said he 'fixed' the issue and does not know what happened. I called the toll free number and they sent a technician and towing vehicle to take the vehicle away.
This issue has cost me my time, given me and my family mental stress and even put my life at risk (Vehicle suddenly stopping in traffic twice, thankfully no other vehicle hit me from behind). The response of the servicing staff was unsatisfactory, the issues are not being addressed properly.
Not even a month and so many issues with the car. Tata, i am disappointed. I must be financially compensated for the time lost, mental stress and vehicle must be replaced if this is a manufacturing defect. If necessary action is not taken immediately, i plan to go to consumer court. I spent rs.11.7 lakhs on this and horrible month because of this brand new car. This is my first car.

I was choosing Tata Harrier with pleasure after experiencing ride on Creta, Seltos, Hector, etc. I’m still satisfied in its great appearance and performance, but I got totally disappointed with its painting perfection.
I have no issues with Rotana Motors’ dealership. As a dealer, they gave me all support. So, to conclude, I expect you either to replace my vehicle or to give compensation for using a damaged vehicle. I expect a response at the earliest; otherwise I will proceed legally via consumer court.
I am already getting a lot of enquiries from doctors group about the vehicle and till now I gave good feedback. I expect all the support from Tata Motors as you are much concerned on Covid warriors. Photos of damaged parts have been attached for your referance.
