Please please can you deal with my complaint….. It seems my tata dealership in cape town are not doing enough and as for tata they are a disgrace… i have explained in this email my complaint… i will be taking this further and will not rest until this matter is dealt with..

I brought myself a brand new tata super ace for my landscape business in january 2016... I brought it from tata motors, paarden island, cape town. The same month the alarm did not work, then the clutch was riding, then the canopy was loose on 1 side. After telling tata this information they eventually took my vehicle in. They gave me a courtesy van another tata super ace... Guess what happened... Well this hire tata broke down on me. Basically the fuel light was not working and i ran out of fuel. Tata sent someone to help me and i was on my way. I get my tata super ace back... So the next month the same petrol light problem happened on my tata super ace... Again off she goes back into her second home (Being the tata work shop) and again fixed. So there’s me thinking these were teething problems!!! How wrong was i... The worse is yet to come and you will not believe what i have to tell you!!

Then from here onwards i inform the tata dealer in paarden island that my clutch is riding… they come out say oh it’s a small problem… the van goes back to the dealership and they strip the clutch and tell me it just needed “tweaking”. So of course i believe what they say as they are the experts…. Literally a few weeks later i a single female am in atlantis, cape town getting stock for my business when suddenly i can’t put the gears in… the clutch has now broken it seems. I have to wait 3 hours for tow truck.. Oh by the way this is after i phone my dealer to speak to ronnie phipps and tell him that i am so disgusted in the tata and i need a vehicle… he tells me tata do not supply vehicles!! Even though my brand new vehicle i brought from them has been in their workshop more times than i have had hot dinners!! Ronnie phipps and their manager whom i spoke to both treated me with complete rudeness and distain… the attitude and rudeness was just an absolute joke.. For a manager to shout at the client is unacceptable. They tow my van back and hey ho now this time my clutch did not need tweaking it needed to be replaced!! I have only done around 8000km so far on my new van. Again no car was loaned to me so lucky for me there was a head manager visiting paarden island branch and he gave me ronnie phipps own demo car to use… if it wasnt for this director chap i would never of got a loan vehicle.

Now it continues, my passenger door is snapping whenever it is opened, i email the dealership in paarden island to book my bakkie in and request i get a loan vehicle… this was around 6 weeks ago and to date i still have not been helped in this matter. Now for the final insult… friday 15th 2016 i and my team of landscapers are driving to cape town to do a garden design, as we are driving up a hill my van stops.. Complete engine failure. Again i phone to get my tata taken back to dealership… all day i request what is happening… i get absolute no answer. I then phone jodie the manager and me being the customer have not only lost my van, but my job that day and now arranging payment for staff and lifts home… a complete nightmare.. I am gutted, upset and damn miserable.. I get upset with jodie as i just get absolutely no empathy at all back.… then jodie shouts at me… me the customer i get shouted at by the manager jodie!!! I hang up the phone in tears… i don’t know where to turn or what to do. Then i get an email at 4pm that day from admin at tata dealership in paarden island saying “your engine has to go to india to be fixed”!! That is the email!! After lots of emails by myself to the dealership and me apologizing for being upset!! I then get told it’s not the engine it’s the turbo and i need a new one?? I am still awaiting mechanics report. I have had no van now for 10 days, tata warranty will not pay because i missed my 10000km service and now i am on 12000km … i honestly have missed the service because i believe shear stress… plus as my emails from january to ronnie have stated.. Please send me all relevant paperwork inc service book which i never received. Look i know i must keep on top of the service but i would of thought with only 2000km over and all the problems i have had there would be some leniency. It seems not and now tata are charging me r12, 000 for new turbo and i still have no idea when i will get my van back. I have had to hire a trailer since which is costing me a fortune… please please help me… my business is suffering, i am on my nerves with this and as for the tata super ace i just have no words and the tata warranty department really have no heart.

Please help me i am begging you….

      Dear team,

      Please refer to the above car reg no and note that the car was given for first service at schakralaya motors at pondicherry on 14.07.2016. the car is yet to be delivered to me after the service. i was informed that the clutch disc assembly has to be replaced and promised that the car would be delivered to me by 16.07.2016.

      But the car is still in the service station and there is no proper response from there. when contacted the only answer i get is the car will delivered tomorrow. i am totally disappointed with the service given to me at your schakralaya motors (pondicherry) - your authorized dealer. also i was informed that mr. pradeep. shanmugam will delivered the damage part in the car and the reason for delay in service is because of the part not received at the service station. my next point of contact was ms. subhu lakshmi at tata motors ltd, south regional branch where i was promised that immediate action will be effected. but this was also not productive.


      Below is the mail correspondence dated today which was sent to me after repeatedly following up with your people for the past ten days.


      I opted for tata motors believing that the customer service will be up to the mark but i am made to regret my decision with this kind of service.

      Please look up on this issue and resolve this at the earliest

          I had purchased zest car from j. P. Motors, solan, h. P. Wide their invoice no jp motr[protected] dated 31.03.16.

          The first free service was due on 4500 kms or three months whichever earlier.

          I visited their service center at nalagarh branch on the 15th july at about 2.30 pm.

          In the name of free service, that too first the following was only done :
          A) air filter cleaning by blowing compressed air.
          B) checking of the level of the engine oil.
          C) road trial of the car by the service person.

          The car was not lifted up to check any nuts and bolts loose, any clamps loose, alignment etc etc,

          I am not satisfied with the service provided against what was explained in this matter while selling.

            This is to inform you that u have created a life threat by a defective product you have given. My car no is tn 11 k 8526. It was towed to my tvs in porur chennai on 18.6.16. The vehicle was not attended for 18, 19, 20 after my repeted complaints the rsm of tml informed me that wiring harness was burnt and and alternator fault. For alternator issue already vehicle was attended by tafe reach earlier. Again same issue repeated. My question is u have delivered a defective product and ur sevice didnt attend the vehicle for 3 days. My business got spoilt because of you and mental agony was created.
            Till now no one from tml has called me in this regard and is this the response u give to customers?
            I m not going to take the vehicle back without tml person speaking to me if not legal action will be taken against tml for creating a life threat for me by your defective product

              L have faced lots of problem to get my tata manza car get repaired from some of your service station. We never get any parts of car on time in your service station, we have to provided material from outside. So i was unsatisfied with the service you provide to us, very poor service provide from you so i was thinking for sell the car and never by tata motors in future if they keep providing services to us like this, i will tell my all friend's about this

                While travelling from pondicherry to bangalore on nh my vehicle had some noise, i dont wanted to take any risk for the long drive so i called to tata road service help line, then they have sent one person of the nearest tata service center name is called sri dharam automative and the person who has recived the vehicle (He is the unit head of sri dharam automative). After taken the vehicle i recived the call from tata customer care and from the service center they said to me it will cost rs. 1800 and they said come after 1 day and take your vehicle. While i came next day they said, your vehicle is repaired and you have to pay 24000 but still the vehicle is not working, to get it to working condition they asked me to spend additional amount after paying 24000 rupees. How can they do like this? This is a cler trap by the service centre. They could have taken my permission for such a big amount before repairing. I left from there and have given complaint to tata motors. After giving complaint i recived a call from dharam automobile and they said your bill is 25800, please pay and take the vehicle. I got shocked and without my intimation they are increasing the expense and after giving one more complaint again they increased to rs.33986.

                So thay are cheating people where we do not have any option. They are just doing harasment.

                Now they are asking me rs. 33986 and i am not agree to pay this amount. As they said to me and i will pay rs.1800. If it is a matter of few more rupees then its fine but how can you give a bill of 33986 against a 1800 rupees quotation?

                Main concern is that, sri dharam automative is one of the cheater company. He is now threatening and saying that he will not give my vehicle quoting "do what ever you want to do"

                Request you to please look into this matter and help me to to get back my vehicle.

                  I have recently purchased "Tata Tiago XZ Petrol" on date 16th June 2016. Which have following problems.
                  1 Steering tilt in left side . Which has aligned after several attempt.
                  2 On above 80 Kmph speed front tyres bubbling & humming sound with acceleration and some other noise distortion in car. So dealer Changed "Gear Shifting Cable" from another TATA Tiago
                  3 In first gear car having jerk not pick up smoothly.
                  4 In another TATA Tiago XZ Petrol having "EXIDE Battery" but in mine car "TATA Green Battery" while I received EXIDE warranty card. Dealer give me "TATA Green Battery" warranty card butI am still not sure which brand of battery installed by TATA MOTOR in TATA Tiago Car.

                      I made a booking of tata tiago revotron xz (petrol) at concorde motors, omr, chennai on 07-may-2016. the order number is so-ccdche-rct[protected]. i made an advance payment of rs.10000 also while booking. i was told by the dealers that, the car will be delivered within 4-5 weeks. but it is more than 10 weeks now, but the car is not yet delivered. i have raised a complaint at tata motors, but they were not able to say when will my car get delivered. they just said "your car will be delivered soon", which i am hearing for over 10weeks but no action has been taken yet.

                        I had purchased a new car tiago petrol zx from your dealer at lakhimpur rena motors on 17.7.16 and taken delivery at lucknow. This is top model and what i received is car without alloy wheels. The details of the car is following engine no. Revtron02ftyk10132. Is this is company's fault or dealers cheat. Waiting for the early reply. I am attaching the photo of car insurance cover note and gate pass.

                        Yes, now top end comes with steel rim, because of the demand for the alloy wheel. I too purchased XZ with steel rim, but TML has reduced the invoice price by 10, 000 plus.

                          Safari clutch problem

                          Hi sir

                          I purchased the tata safari in 2014 and hardly droved it 40 k in past 2 year and since purchase i had changed the below parts :

                          Fuel injector
                          Brake assembly
                          Again fuel injector
                          Busch rods

                          And after my warranty period was over the clutch failed completely i got it changed from service centre and within 2 day it failed again and they are now asking to change clutch...

                          I took delivery of Bolt XMS(April 2016) model on June 2 2016. I decided on the car based on the specifications in website and I paid visit to Concorde OMR Chennai to check the XMS model.I later booked the car from Tafe reach pallikaranai chennai due to better offers. But only after I have taken the delivery if the car, I found that the specifications of the xms model has changed from what is being displayed on the website. Currently I see that my car does not have

                          1. Co driver under seat tray
                          2.No rear adjustable head rest
                          3.No 60:40 rear split seats.

                          I could have selected XT if I had known that the above features are not available in XMS variant. I dont know what other features has been removed.

                          I have not been given any brochure that has the bolt specifications. It looks like I have been misguided to select this model.I would like to hear what tata motors has to say regarding this case.

                            We had given our vehicle tata indica for repair to your goa tata motors authorized service centre near madgaon, in mid august 2015. The car bang to a tree while taking reverse, hence there was damage on the rear side and inside since the car came down with speed of 60km. As we had just shifted from mumbai due to my transfer to goa, we were not aware of the service centre hence called up the tata aig to inform about the accident and they guided us to the madgaon service centre. The vehicle was towed to the service centre and we were informed that they will update us, as we were not technical experts we said we can visually see some damages like the rare side damaged, clutch box, seat were damaged, car was starting hence you please check and let us know what are damages and the cost.

                            We followed up with the executive mr. Viraj who was looking after our case, he said we are waiting for tata aig people to inspect the vehicle, once they inspect then we will update you on the cost and damages. At the same time we were getting calls from tata aig saying they have visited the service centre but there is no such vehicle, finally we gave mr. Viraj no directly to the tata aig guy so that they speak and locate each other. There was response from the team till december, then we started following up they said the rare body is not available here hence we are waiting for the parts from bangalore. But we were asking for the amount they said we will let you know once we get input from bangalore and tata aig executive will visit again, post we will update you the amount. We waited expecting call from the team but no response, they our driver was going madgaon, so he visited the service centre, to get an update they said the parts will coming and it will take 2 weeks and we will give the best rate since service is expensive in goa and your car is here for more 6 months we will get it fixed. We were shocked that without sharing the estimate they have started working on the damages, then we thought any ways we need to get it fixed and its authorized centre hence not to worry.
                            Finally the day arrived when we got call from viraj to pick-up the vehicle as its ready and the amount was also informed. When we settled the amount and was taking the vehicle we realized the basic checks were not done by the team to take the vehicle outside the premises and following are the observations:
                            1. The car was stopped just in front of the tata motors office. It was not starting, but have to push the car to start, showing that the battery was uncharged, since the vehicle was there for more than 6 months
                            2. While driving the car we experience the wheel alignment was not done after the repair and hence it was not moving smoothly
                            3. The dike was not fixed properly there were gaps on both sides
                            4. The tail lights were not fixed properly, there were gaps between the tail light and dike
                            5. There were stains / spots of primer and other colors seen on the car
                            6. The seat belts cannot be pulled or fixed for both the front seats, as it was shortened, which was a very dangerous negligence.
                            7. Some noise occurs, while sitting or getting up from the seat, something was not fixed properly
                            8. Looks like the door was forcefully opened by inserting some metal strip from the window, which has damaged the rubber strip on the door
                            9. Mr. Viraj was absent and upon calling he took this lightly and asked us to get the vehicle next time whenever we visit madgon.
                            The poor supervision and inspection after the repair done at tata motor authorized centre, would have caused our family life since the vehicle was not in control.
                            We called viraj again to make him understand the seriousness and after repeated follow ups, he send his mechanic to take the vehicle to service centre in april. The mechanic mr. Uttam who had been brief to pick up vehicle with the entire above problems, fails to carry any tool kit inspite o[censored]s explaining all the above problems. Since the battery was not charged he had to remove the battery, while removing he had broken the clamp since he didn’t have any tool kit, hence we had to stop him and bought tool kits from my office.
                            Now another 2 months passed the vehicle is with tata motors, we started following up and now we are informed the battery is dead hence battery needs to be replaced. The receptor was broken hence the receptor got repaired and we need to pay additional 12k for receptor repair and 5k for battery.
                            We fail to understand how the hell this team work do they have any ethics or disciple or process of functioning or its just repair when customer follow ups and just fix whatever they feel and again if customer do something and ask for money.

                            We had great faith tatas and its service but this pathetic service and the way it has handled, almost 12 months the vehicle still in madgaon centre and they are experimenting and maybe learning mechanical engineering on our vehicle.

                            I have lost my patience hence need someone to look into this matter and get back to me with a proper response on the following:
                            • isnt it responsibility of an authorized centre to share the estimate with their customer and explain and give time frame for repairs
                            • if they had fixed all the problems, had anyone drove the car to check if its fixed and if yes then why all the points we noted that person didn’t notice
                            • isnt it tata motors responsibility to charge the battery before giving to their customer when it was there for 6-7 months
                            • don’t they charge the battery or atleast start the vehicle once a week, since the repair going for 6-7 months
                            • when the executive to informing to collect the vehicle post repair, has anyone signed off the vehicle is in condition to be taken on road, without wheel alignment, battery not charged, seat belt shorten, the mechanic who came to pickup the vehicle had to pay fine to cops while taking the vehicle back to service centre and he called to tell us the vehicle is giving problem, we didn’t understand then for what he had come to pickup the vehicle

                                In my MANZA car continues clutch complaint, the are not proper response in tafe coimbatore, as soon as slove the problem.ph no.[protected]
                                Now my idea change, i our tafe show room my cousin booking 2zest car, but these complaints are not yet proper wort.so cancel zest car

                                  There is delay in delivery of a new tata tiago revotron xz booked at concorde motor dealership, silk board, bangalore karnataka. the order number is - so-ccbblr[protected]. booking date was[protected].

                                  They promised me to deliver the car within 1 month with a written expected delivery date... but it's about to be 3 months now... still no news about my car... now they are not allowing me to cancel the booking as well by threatening me to deduct 2 thousands for cancellation... may i please request your help for justice... either they deliver my car within next 1 week or compensate me for the mental and financial harassment they have given me for last months...

                                    I have booked tata tiago xz in white colour today only from concorde motors south extn new delhi. Delivery of my car will take two months now
                                    I just requested them to kindly change my ac vents covers to sunburst orange but they simply said no and refused me without even trying
                                    They said that's its not stall possible
                                    Plz help me as i have booked a top end version xz

                                      Delay in servicing of vehicle and general lack of concern. my vehicle had an engine problem and i to to tata africa holding nairobi for service. it took two week to diagnose the problem and after approval it took a total of three weeks to repair the vehicle by doing an engine overhaul. the vehicle was out for two days and failed again. i towed it back and it took two days to diagnose an injector problem which i suspect was the problem at first and the overhaul was not necessary. i chose to service the injector myself at an pointed dealer within 4 hours and returned the injector pump. the tata team went on holiday on thursday 7th july and promised to completed the re-installation on monday 11th in the mean time i have down time. this is totally inconsiderate and lazy.
                                      For this reason it has become hard for me to maintain and use a tata vehicle and a will not buy a tata vehicle again as well as not recommend to anyone.
