As a customer of TATA motors, after purchasing a new TATA Safari Storme, I am having a bitter experience with TATA customer service by dealer around. I would like to share this information and feedback from you.
I have purchased a new Tata Safari Storme recently in the month of June 2014. I really enjoying the car. But I am totally disappointed with the dealers,
1. Tafe Motors - Coimbatore
2. Kumaran Auto - Tirunelveli
I purchased the car from Tafe motors Coimbatore, When they approach me for the insurance before registering the car, I advised them to insure in United India Insurance with full cover, that is bumper to bumper including every part of the car and I advised them that I am not interested in any free insurance offers from your Tafe motors. But In the first year itself, they forced me to take up an insurance for some individuals own profit, that if I pay Rs 28500, and their insurance is covered for 3 years!!. Initially I surprised but later by their sweet cunning talks, I have agreed for that, with the condition of that my car should be covered for every part of the car. They agreed.
I have paid 28500 Rs, but they paid 19000 Rs to an insurance company and cheated me. Someone from Tafe Motors eaten my money.
Now, My car had an accident in July, I have taken the car to Kumaran Auto Tirunelveli, They denied to take up the Job and forced me to take the car to the dealer in coimbatore, I have taken to coimbatore, But the same TATA dealer Tafe Motors told me that my insurance is a very basic insurance and I had to pay from my pocket a huge amount for the repair. I was shocked . Finally after 25 days of repair I was forced myself to take the car out without completing the repair work 100%. As a customer of TATA, I have been cheated by your coimbatore dealer Tafe Motors. I kindly request you to enquire Tafe about my car dealings and reply to me.
My next bad experience is, Now my car second free service time, I have taken to Kumaran Auto, Palayamkottai for second free service, They said they cant do the free service and they will charge me for that service. Its just because I have taken the car from different dealer and my car completed 8000KM. This was surprised me. I have brought the car back home without done the free service. So I am in a position to drive my car from tirunelveli to Coimbatore for the service about 1000 KM up and down. This is ridicules from TATA customer service.
I expecting an investigation from your side and make me clear, what the dealers done to me was correct or wrong. I am mentally verymuch disturbed about these TATA dealers behaviour against me. Otherwise I have no option other than filing a complaint and criminal case against both of these dealers, Will also file a case in consumer court. I lost more than 3 Laks of Rupees and mentally tortured because of this bad and cunning behaviour of these two TATA dealers.

person Mr.Vinod (Not sure about his designation as a sales executive) informed me that the manufacturing month of the above mentioned vehicle was on September-2013.
I enquired Mr.vinod about the manufacturing month 2 to 3 times since I
like to get a recent vehicle from the stock. I also clearly informed in
that i dont like to get an old stocked vehicle (more than two months
before the delivery).When I received the RC book I came to realise that the manufacturing month was July -2013. In that time I came to a conclusion that I was cheated by the TATA dealer (Mohandas motors) regarding the manufacturing month.At
this moment an informing you these all things because my vehicle is now
facing number of complaints these would not be incurred during this
period.(Personal use just 12800 km)
Hope that will do the necessary action and give me a acknowledgement.
What is the point in promoting the product so much when the existing bookings are not being fulfilled by the dealers promptly and transparently. I feel that there is a serious concern regarding how the pre launch online bookings are being dealt by the dealerships. As the customers who are booking directly at the dealers much later, very recently and even currently are either been given the delivery already or given a good delivery commitment timeframe.
This is already doing some damage, as i see already a couple of complaints being raised on the web, on teambhp, theautomotiveindia websites etc., regarding such issues.

Please do address this at the earliest for the sake of those who took pride in entrusting tata motors even before the launch of products.
Sadly, there has been no benefits offered to those who did pre-launch booking? Sorry, this is not done right, not zestified at all.
