Refund booking amount from TATA FPL Chennai

Booked my Tata Punch on 20/11/2023 at TATA FPL Chennai, but had to cancel booking on 28/11/2023 due to personal reasons, I have not received the booking amount from the dealer after repeated calls and not getting a positive response from the dealer....

5-Star Safety SO CALL BY TATA PROMOTING -TATA PUNCH.

HERE IS THE INCIDENT WITH ME 2 DAYS BACK.

Tata Punch is the only car in the segment that got 5 stars at the Global NCAP crash test rating. Other than this, Punch is equipped with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, a high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors, and more. The AMT version of the Punch also gets a traction control system.

Read the above caption and feedback from friends and family and walked around the market for 3 months finally bought my first car From TATA- Model TATA PUNCH ACCOMPLISHED DAZZLE (AMT) ON 24TH JUNE 2023 ON MY WIFE BIRTHDAY from Dealership -GO-Auto Private Ltd. Delhi -Okhla Phase -1

Very bad experience with Tata Motors service | PUNCH AMT

This is my first post on TATA PUNCH-AMT. Although I should have posted something positive to start with sharing my experience that I went with TML (thought a lot before posting as this is about the car I loved – Tata Punch). It might help others who are looking for such feedback before making decisions about Tata Punch or other Tata cars.

Issue Engine Mounting System:

I have had a Tata Punch-AMT for the past six months and fifteen days, with around 8, 000+ kilometers on the odometer. The car had been driving smoothly up to this point, save from a few small problems and typical fit and finish faults.

On December 14, 22 at around 7:45 a.m., I had a serious problem operating a vehicle while traveling from my home in Faridabad to my office in Gurgaon. I never imagined that when driving this car, something would occur. I'm still anxious and startled by what happened yesterday; trust me, I can't stop thinking about it.

1. Through my car's Bluetooth, I'm conversing with my sister. I suddenly hear a loud noise coming from the car, so I grab the handbrake and push, and at the same moment, the car breaks into oncoming traffic. The cars behind me also apply forceful brakes, and I get stuck in between them. People start yelling at me on the road where I am stuck. and using derogatory words, making it difficult for me to know exactly what to do. I feel like I'm blindfolded right now.

2. That my vehicle was in the center of a highway and that it was morning office hours, anything could have happened if a car had hit it from behind. Thankfully, we escaped unharmed, and after a mere twenty to thirty seconds, I succeeded in pressing the brake pad with my toes.

3. I pulled the car to the side of the road and waited for a while. After that, I went to a nearby car and checked all four tires because I thought one of them might burst or get punctured. When I started the car again, it ran for almost ten meters making a loud noise, and it began to shake violently.

This time, with this car in the middle of the road, I lost all control over what to do and how to do it. I felt really ashamed. Eventually, I had to write down the number of a service supervisor and give a call him. He helped me contact TATA to decipher the toll-free number. After much work, I phoned the register and waited on the IVR, all of which I did while sitting on the road for more than an hour. After waiting in the road for the following 1.5 hours for the toe VAN to arrive,

4. The incident with Service Supervisor Yogesh Pandit -Arya Motor

I made an auto reservation and arrived at the servicing center along with toe VAN. It is almost noon at this point, and I'm still wandering around the service center. Tata Motors Cars Service Centre - Arya Motors, Sector 52 GURGAON. Nobody is there to talk about what happened or to give this toe automobile onboard high priority.I continued requesting a security card and asked someone to assist but by bad luck, I had to wait and my TURN came and so called very genius supervisor Mr.Yogesh Pandit assigned by the service floor. I simply told them what happened on ROAD. He opened the JOB CARD WHICH IS ATTACHED.

After updating the incidents to Supervisor Yogesh PAANDIT now teaching me warranty terms and conditions i.e this broken bracket assembly (this part used to HOLD ENTIRE ENGINE AT BONNET) by me Rs.1400/- for the engine bracket mount and if any outside work is done that is also payable He is not checking on the ground of car where continue OIL Like something is leakage.

WHILE DRIVING CAR ON RAOD CAR ENGINE FALL DOWN ON ROAD- I STILL SHOKED THIS TATA VECHILE OR TOY.

The incident with Service Service Manager Amit Sharma---Arya Motor

The very next the Service center (Arya Motor), and explained about the incident & issue with the CAR ENGINE. The SC Manager simply pushed back & said that it was due to my driving style and that I must have driven and hit the car. They didn’t accept that it could be due to quality issues & a mechanical failure. The SC Manager just said it at my expense & didn’t make any effort to look more into the issue He was quite casual & mentioned that they keep getting such issues the oil change (bleeding) should fix it. At the height of their casual attitude, the concerned people at Arya Motor even suggested recording the video if the issue reoccurs in the future, in a way and providing evidence. Horrified SERVICE TEAM BELIEVE ME.

indicating that I was lying about the incident. Upset by their attitude, I told them I would surely take the video if I remained second time lucky.

As I had been through the incident & I consider myself lucky to be still out there and I lost confidence in driving the car with family anymore and thus I was not in the mood to take any chances. I told them that they should investigate more & if needed.

SC Manager and supervisor cautioned rudely that if I am willing to pay the price of any replacement he will get it opened. How could they decide on future courses without finding the fault? It also showed a total lack of empathy & understanding and, a lack of concern for customer safety on the Service center’s part & they have been infamous for that, and I witnessed it. They didn’t even explain how the Engine got OFF the ROAD WHILE DRIVING the car steering got locked & if there was any other problem in the vehicle. They just told me that it might be due to an air bubble & it wouldn’t happen again. By that time I lost hope of getting any kind of help or fix there at SC.

Discussion With Tata Customer Care Executive (Ankur Customer)

After being turned over to the service center, I called customer service and asked them to put me in touch with a TATA higher authority. Ankur Sharma, a Tata Customer Care Executive, answered the phone, and I told him everything that had happened on ROAD. He then said he had called the service manager at Arya Motors and would get back to me in two hours.

Ankur was able to assist me in two days, and after much debate, the automobile was fixed. We will now cover it under warranty, and Ankur is prepared to drop the car off at my house. However, I remained silent until I received Tata's complete service test report, which explained why HPPENS occurred and how the vehicle engine malfunctioned.car engine falls on ROAD WHILE DRIVING...

Plan Ahead for MY TATA PUNCH

I plan to sell the TATA PUNCH now to avoid any such future nightmares & risk my family, but to go for a trusted Maruti or Hyundai car, where there are lesser chances of such issues arising & better after sales.

Thought to share my experience with all so that it helps others who can learn from my experience.

If someone still wants to go ahead with TATA PUNCH there is a very high likelihood of one or the other similar bad experience that might make you repent of your decision to buy a Tata car despite so many real experiences of customers being shared. If someone is adamant, like I was, to go ahead then I suggest that they can look at the Manual option - but be ready for such after-sales shockers there as well.

Still car at the service center at ARYA MOTOR AND ASK ANKUR SHARMA TATA REPRESENTATIVE WANT no cover for service advisor and service center, please.
We are not going to tolerate any nonsense.

Share the comprehensive report maximum by Monday.

I had been a very avid supporter of TML from the time I purchased the car & even promoted TATA PUNCH in my circle & some of my friends brought TATA PUNCH after that.

I am utterly regretful of the decision to spend 10L on a car that broke down within 6 MONTH (at 8000 K Kms). I never had such an experience with my earlier with cars.

With this conversation, I asked TATA SERVICE TEAM AND HIGHER AUTHORITY ME AND MY FAMILY why I DRIVE a TATA CAR ANYMORE ON THE ROAD???

    TATA Nexon new car issue while charging

    Address: SGA MOTORS INDIA PVT LTD

    I bought TATA NEXON EV car thru SGA dealers in Coimbatore on November 20, 2023 - TN66AQ2865. I GOT an error warning message on the display board while charging. i have contacted tata service center immediatly on Dec 6, 2023. Till now they didnt tell anything and didnt give proper response .
    I would like to cancel my vehicle registration and refund my vehicle amount . Really really WORST WORST service and response from Coimbatore TATA...

    I bought a brand new Tata Punch hoping one of the best in class. But all the legacy they talked about is realised by me today. It has been 6 and a half months since buying a car and the battery drained out after 10 days of non-operation of the car. I called the toll-free no. for roadside assistance. They registered a complaint as CSR No. ATATA[protected], and said mechincs would reach me out in 2 hours but everything went vein. I again called the roadside assistant but again the same thing was being repeated mechanics were being arranged . I am still hoping for the best after 5 hrs. Now no one is going to attendant. Very pathetic services by Tata Motors and its alliance group.

        Date of registration & Warranty date are in correct for Nexon in TMSC app have already informed cargo motors dealer but they aren't doing anything.

          I purchased my car Tata punch 5 months ago but when I went for a long drive approx 150 Km the vehicle got starting problem then I pushed several times then it got started and I return and visited Motogen Service center Ranchi from where I bought the same then supervisor told that there is no problem after that incidence again I went for long drive yesterday and same problem was repeated and I was with my family with 2 little children and the car was not starting from 12 noon till midnight 12 am Iwas facing lastly my car was towed and now the car in in motogen till now they couldn't solved my problem.

            I am tired of waiting for their useless service center to call back after emails also no response from the seller or customer care
            My car is giving milage of 8 and they have sold a defective piece and ignoring my emails.

              I Teena Kumawat have Purchased Tata Safari XZA+O Dark addition, from Sugandh Automotive Ratlam on dated 21.07.2023, after one month of Purchase i was facing issue with The vehicle, on 7000 Km Thali was damaged, than i visited to showroom and changed this by my own cost than after one day Staring started vibrating, than i again sent vehicle to showroom and i told them that this should not be happened with new vehicle, but they done temporary servicing and returned vehicle to me again, i always face problem in speed and gear when vehicle Cross 100 KM running, i faced that vehicle engine stopped automatically this happed with me four times in last 4 Month, Tyre got damaged in 9000 Km only that has been changed by me at my own cost. Breakpad has been changed by me two times.
              This is totally defective product given to me.
              I believed that TATA maintain highest quality standard but this time really disappointed to me.

                Ever since I have purchased this vehicle, there has been an issue with the entertainment system connecting with Apple CarPlay. Issue of fluctuating connectivity with my mobile iPhone 14 Pro existed and still remains, This could not be corrected despite several visits to your service center and them updating the software.

                Now, of late the Steering Buttons for music system stops operating intermittently. At times it works and many times it doesn't work. These issues are lingering since the time I purchased this car.

                Your service center is least bothered about resolving this, they just update the system and hope the issue will be resolved. It is so annoying to have such issues in a 28 lakh plus car.

                Why isn't the company trying to resolve these?

                My car is nearing completion of One year., I would request your intervention and arrange to replace the music system and its controls which seems to be the fault.

                It is requested that the issue be taken on importance and music system and its steering controls be REPLACED IMMEDIATELY under Warranty.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I would like to make this formal complaint to your esteemed self regarding a horrible experience of mine at Race Course Tata Tafe Access Coimbatore. The sales person responsible for this horrific experience is one Mr.Manikandan.
                  I had made an inquiry through online portals and received a call from a sales person from Race Course Tata Tafe Access, Manikandan. I informed Manikandan about my requirement for a test drive of Nexon which he did not provide immediately giving some excuse.
                  I took the test drive elsewhere and informed Manikandan on the 3rd of November
                  That i would like to purchase a mid variant SM S NEXON.
                  At this time I expressed my urgency informing him that I DID NOT WISH TO BE PAY EXTRA ROAD TAX OF 3% which would kick in anytime if government passed the GO. Manikandan told me that they had no stock of this vehicle but that i could come to tafe office on Race Course road to take a look at SM S that they had stick of.

                  My daughter and I visited the TATA TAFE office on Race Course Road on the 3rd of nov . At this time also Manikandan did not show us the variant we wanted to purchase. He showed us the one with sun roof but when we told him we wanted the SM -S variant and also wanted it in the next day or two ( to avoid paying extra road tax ). Manikandan denied having this but told us he would get back the next day after checking with availability in other cities.

                  The next morning at 11 AM on Saturday the 4th of November Manikandan called me informing me that a vehicle was available in Erode and that he would get it for me immediately.

                  He then demanded I pay Rs.21000/- immediately and sent me bank account details and code to pay using gpay which i paid immediately. Screen shot sent as attachment. He told me he was not available in office that day but
                  He took my pan and aadhaar details along with my email account details but did not send me any confirmation of amount paid towards advance.

                  Manikandan promised to meet me in the tafe office on Sunday and hand over receipts etc. And promised to give me a confirmation of booking made for the vehicle available in Erode on the same day as he said he was on leave on Saturday the 4th and took the money alone without furnishing any receipt. I requested him to send me an email confirmation of receipt of payment which also he said was not possible since he said "tata had stopped sending emails" . This statement was indeed strage !

                  On Sunday he did not take my calls
                  On Monday when I called to ask if the vehicle had come from erode he told me they would drive it down. At this point I told him I would not take any vehicle that was driven down from any place. I now instructed him to bring the vehicle in a truck in new condition if he wanted me to buy it.

                  All these conversations were only on call. On Monday my vehicle had not arrived and Manikandan now became a big vague about delivery dates.
                  Attaching whatsapp message proof of conversations exchanged to prove the flippant and disrespectful manner in which the transaction was treated till date.
                  I received no more news from Manikandan and my calls went unanswered. Screen shots of calls attached.
                  I then asked for a refund of my money and also told that since delivery was not happening I may end up paying extra road tax. Manikandan responded by calling me and saying he was hospitalized ( obviously a big lie to get away with the horrible service provided) stating he would arrange for my car delivery the next day. That day also there was no news from him and on calls he once again said he was unwell and that the car was on its way from Erode. I told him it would hardly take any time for vehicle to come from erode and even offered to get it myself from erode to see if he was genuine.
                  And then I realised that Manikandan was not interested in delivering the car before increase in road tax. I continue to ask Manikandan on call if he would give me the refund but Manikandan finally told me that I could go to the tafe office and that someone would contact me and show me the car which he said he had arrived. The next day when I went to the tafe office on Race Course road one person whose number I am attaching ( +[protected] called me and showed us a car which was parked in the yard which he claimed had been there for a very long time and that it was the car that Manikandan had ear marked for me. This car had already run a few kilometres and was in a very bad condition and the person who showed us the vehicle then informed us that road tax had increased by 3% from the day. The fact that the car had been in the yard and that because of Manikandan's negligence I had to pay 30000 more tax show does the negligent terrible attitude of the sales person and at this point I did not want to have anything to do with tafe access worried that future transactions with them will also be as terrible and causing me more mental strain. I also did not want to pay the additional road tax which had kicked in because of delays caused by Manikandan negligence.
                  When I requested that I should be given a refund the person who was co ordinating with me with me on behalf of Manikandan brought out a yellow form with the receipt which should have been given to me my Manikandan at the time of taking my advance from me I have. I am sharing that yellow receipt which I was asked to sign ' pre dated ' attaching the same in this email for us proof that this particular yellow chit or receipt was never given to me by Manikandan done and when I request it for a refund of the 21000 that I had already paid I was asked to sign on receipt predated so that money contain would not face any problems inside the organisation. Was not given to me by Manikandan but a signature alone was demanded for me to be able to get the refund I refuse to sign this paper and I still demanded that I received the refund to which the manager try to pacify me by offering reduction in price which anyway did not meet what Manikandan had promised. Delivery of the vehicle at the price of 10 lakh which is also seen in this WhatsApp message that I attached here with. The manager offered a reduction but I still had to pay extra road tax which I was not willing to do.

                  The below is my claim and request and this should be considered as a legal claim from a begruntled customer and made immediately

                  1. I would like to get my deposit money refunded to me at the earliest to my bank account. I would like immediate action to be taken and against Manikandan based on this complaint and with no further delay I would like my 21000 to be refunded
                  2. This procedure of simply taking money from customers promising to book a particular vehicle and not delivering it and requesting and requesting customers to sign on papers predated is indeed illegal and should be considered as illegal by companies of repute such as Tata motors.
                  I would really like appreciated if the amount is refunded at the earliest if I am kept in formed of what action is taken against Manikandan. One miss Lakshmi the customer relationship manager was the person who tried to get a signature from me on receipt which was originally not even shown to me. After I have met her and I had been refuse the refund she has try it to send me emails as if I was customer it and informing me that road tax increased which was one more way of showing the lack of integrity as well as lack of customer service next
                  the manager you had inform me that the vehicle that was your mark for me by Manikandan had been lying in the yard for many many days. If that was the case Manikandan should have simply handed it over to me helping me avoid the extra road tax which I had clearly informed him I wanted to avoid.
                  I am hoping that this email would be considered in the right spirit as a request for refund with every proof provided here along with the payment proof also and all chat screenshots added for additional proof. The receipt on which I would ask to sign post five days after the amount was received my Manikandan is also attached here with.
                  I would very much appreciate a response to this email at the earliest along with your contact numbers to enable me to feel at ease and feel confident that the amount that is due to me by Tata motors will surely reach me at the earliest.

                  Kindly send me address for us to take this up through proper legal channels and consumer protection council since it's been 18 days since amount has been paid and there has been no effort to repay the amount. Since this has caused grave mental agony and loss of amount Mr Manikandan would be liable to civil legal action for negligence in duty.
                  I don't see any address or number provided in your email nor any progress in sending me the refund.

                  If I do not receive the refund in the next 24 hours I will be proceeding in the consumer protection council in Coimbatore where the cause of action arose

                    Before the time of First Service I started having troubles with wiper. During First Service I have requested them to correct the same. They assured they will check and correct them. During second service also I faced the same issue and inform them to correct. Last week, on a rainy night when I drive the car the wiper was not functioning properly. As wiper was not functioning properly, I was unable to see the vehicles coming opposite to me.
                    Today my wife visited the Muthoot Tata service centre to raise the issue and they told her the wiper fixed in the car is damaged and need to replace the wiper with Bosh Company wiper. She informed the same to me over the phone. Then I told her to handover the phone to the concerned person. I have talked with the concerned person then he told that cost of wiper replacement at their service centre is Rs.1600. He advised me to go for wiper replacement with local mechanic, which will cost to me Rs.700 only. I asked why the wiper is damaged within a year of purchase where we haven’t used much. They replied that they can only replace the wiper with Bosch Company wiper. I told them that I will raise the issue with Tata Motors then they replied that Tata Motors will merely transfer the complaint to Muthoot Tata, Kollam Only. Even they are not bothered whether the complaint is for wiper hand or wiper blade. They rudely told that I don’t have any other option rather than accepting their demands. The same issue is faced by my friends

                      My father had booked a car but he passed away a few days later, so I applied to the GM of the showroom demanding a refund of the deposited amount along with all the original receipts.
                      They had said that the money will be returned in 1 to 2 days but today it has been almost one and a half month but my money is not being returned to me and the original documents submitted by me have also been lost and now they are saying that You take an oath from the court that the receipt has been lost and I will not claim it again in future, but sir, it is their fault, they have lost the papers, so why should I do all this.

                      I have already complained to your company but there is no hearing.

                        I purchased Tiago XT car on 28/07/2023 from Shyam Tata motors Jaipur. I got my first service under workshop service manager Anil Kumar on 21/10/2023. I got very good service and felt pleasure with his attitude during this service. Then he asked to extended warranty of my vehicle. As he said that with current discount it's amount is 11800. I checked and found that it is really necessary for vehicle in future. I said okay. He told me on 25/10/2023 that send money today itself and it last day of discount service. As he sent QR code for money to punch this service. I paid aforesaid amount on that QR code. I put my all faith towards Shyam Motors workshop employee.

                        Later he informed me his brother accident and death that's why he couldn't punch this service completely from his system and he informed that he will do once come back. As I also informed to workshop team about this because due to death his brother he switched off his mobile, and didn't respond for two days.

                        Later he called and told he has come back and have some issue in his joining. He pleaded to talk his GM at workshop. I considered that may it geniune issue because he told that after joining I will complete this warranty document from myside. I didn't consider that he was misleading me with this matter. As I am working in kendriya vidyalaya as a teacher in Uttrakhand. My wife is at home with my 7 months baby. Due to all, I reported to GM that he has paid me and resolved. Kindly call him back. Now I didn't get my warranty document as well as money too from this employee.

                        I hope you may take necessary action regarding this on your employee and help me in my trouble.

He advised to take extended warranty for my car. I gave money for extended service 11800 as he provided QR code. But didn't finish my extended warranty service process.

                          Your employee was misleading with family emotional problems. Sir I am working in kendriya vidyalaya as a teacher in Uttrakhand. My wife is in Jaipur with my 7 months baby. So I considered he is good employee of Shyam Tata motors and having problem. As he asked to say that he has done mistake and paid me money and there is no matter between us to start his service without trouble. I talked same matter to GM that please call him back on service.

                          Now he is not responding me and I am helpless. Kindly take necessary action regarding this matter and come forward to resolve my problem.

                            I took delivery of My safari brand new on Oct 16 2023 [ TR was on Ocy 15 2023 ]
                            From Oct 17 onwards I have been trying to register for IRA but I keep getting an error that user is already registered.
                            When I contacted tata IRA support via service number they told me that this vehicle was previous registered on a different customer name on June 29, 2023 and was directed to contact dealership for which dealership replied that it was previously allocated to a different customer who backed off at the last moment and also there was mistake from someone that they also registered in IRA with this vehicles Chasis number and not only that I found that the 1 service interval was also claimed back in June for this chasis number safari by another customer.

                            Up until now I have been contacting both TATA motors customer care, iRA SUPPORT and Dealer ship ( Venkataramana Motors in Hyderabad) for the kyc and resolution on IRA registration to no avail.

                            the only email that ira support sends is a ticket number and after that nothing. I feel Tata motors is cheating customers with non working features and registering vehicles before the actual sale for numbers.

                              I bought my Tata Harrier on November 9, 2021. They have promised a 2-year warranty on paper. On October 23, 2023, I visited SRM Motors Lucknow. They are saying your warranty already expired on October 23, 2023, so we cannot extend your warranty. So how is this possible? On record, my warranty expiry date is November 9, 2023. but I don't understand why this is happening with your servers and manpower. So please provide me with the solution. I am waiting to extend my warranty period. and This is really unprofessional.
