Hi,

My name is Sayantan Manna and I was recently being misguided by one of the Tata photon representative. After using the connection for 3 months, I thought I should change my bill plan. I called the customer care number and since I was looking for an Annual based plan, they said that I should go for Rs950 plan where I will be getting 5 GB using throughtout the month. Now the problem is, the representative told me that it is a yearly based plan where I will be getting the benefit of 12 month by paying only for 9 month. The total amount will be 950*9+ Taxes. It was okay till then, but the representative clearly told me that I have to pay the money after 12 months o[censored]sing the service. The payment due date was supposed to be on or after May 2013. Hence I was using the plan comfortably until I got my next bill. I was shocked to see that the total bill amount was approximately Rs 12000, which was probably including my previous due of Rs 3000 approx. I called the Customer Care number immediately and imformed them that I was being told that I have to pay the money after using the services for 1 year, they said that this was not correct and I am supposed to pay them in advance in order to use this plan. They misguided me totally and now they are sending me legal notices as well. This is something which is very harassing. This is a big fraud and shouldn't have happened. I don't know what to do as it is not possible for me to pay them the full amount right now which was supposed to be paid at the end of 12 months. They also terminated my connection and now if I pay them I will be paying them the money for 12 months where I only used the services for 1 month. Please help.

    Inspite of my registering several complaints with the service Provider, my issue of slow speed is not yet resolved. A Person had come one day to check my laptop for the same but just checked and gave a complaint receipt and went away. I am still facing this issue.

        I was misguided and induced into buying a TATA Photon High Speed USB dongle with a purchase of an Acer product by paying Rs. 750(cost of device) + Rs. 100(activation cost) + Rs. 50(agent's commission at Docomo outlet). A complain was registered with the docket no :[protected] on 18th Aug regarding poor broadband speed. A service engineer paid visit and ran diagnostics (Speedtest.net) and found that speed was hovering b/w 25-35 kbps. Said he would take up the matter with the network engineers to determine the cause of the problem. According to him the bandwidth is less due to user overload. Uptil now nobody has turned up yet. Customer care ppl do not attend to the call. I am fed up. I was tricked into buying the device and end up being made a scapegoat. A mail was escalated to the Nodal officer and the Appellate desk but no action has been taken yet.
        Pls help.

          Recently I purchased on Tata Photon plus Datacard based on an offer which was communicated by Krishna Impex[[protected]@krishna.in] a service associate of Tata[as described by them].The offer was stated by Krishna Impex was Unlimited usage for 1 month with Rs.500.00 per month with continuous broadband speed.As I found the offer was a little suspicious and confirmed several times whether there will be a speed degrade after certain limit o[censored]sage and every time I was told that there will be continuous broadband speed by Mr.Debraj Chatterjee and his team from Krishna Impex.I was charged Rs 1300 for the device.After a few days o[censored]sage I found that the speed degraded drastically and now it is almost impossible to browse.Regarding this I received one sms that since certain limit o[censored]sage has passed there will be low speed.When I communicated to customer care they told me that high speed is upto 1 GB and then there will be degrade in speed and offered some cheap apology for the same[SR:[protected]].
          At present the purchase of the Data card looks totally useless to me.

          It is very shocking that Tata is using such mean tricks for selling their product.Being cheated Now I feel necessary to switch to some other operators who are at least clean with their market plans not similar to Cheapness of Tata.

          Right Now I want to return the device and want my money back and close association with such cheap service provider.

            My tata photon is not working for past 3 days.I have complained about 7 times they say it will be done,then other executive says a complaint has been lodged and they will call soon,the grievance has also been mailed to the head on the official website but no reply from there aswell ,one of the executive cut the phone on my face and told me to use someone else's device..i want to file a law suit please guide..

                I got a call from Photon Call Centre (Shop Name - Krisha Impex) regarding purchase of New Photon Connection. I was promised unlimited plan at upto 3.2 Mbps speed at a rental of Rs. 500/-. Impressed with the offer, I took the connection.
                After few days i just called customer care for confirmation. To my utter surprise, i found out that everything was fake. Now that Krisha Impex guys are not receiving the call only.
                So in short i have been fooled by Tata Company.

                ON 25.02.2013 i got a call from a Tata docomo dealer m/s KRISHA IMPEX, 21J PRINCE BAKTIAR SHAH ROAD, KOLKATA-700033, the person offered me a internet connection for rs.650 per month, with a constant Speed of 3.1 mbps and unlimited download.He said the speed wont drop and i will get a constant speed of 3.1 mbps throughout the month.When I asked him 5 times will the speed be upto or constant, he said constant speed of 3.1 mbps.
                So on Tuesday the representative of there company Mr.Aryan Roy ([protected]) came to deliver the Dongle, he said i will get my money refunded if the speed drops. i paid him Rs.1300 for the same :
                Bill no .65 Tax Invoice no 22 Dt:26/02/2013 Vat no [protected]
                It got activated on 28/02/2013, and i was getting a speed of 0.10 mbps or 0.20 mbps.Since then i have been trying to contact Krisha Impex and tata photon. I am not getting through any of there number, and tata photon call center have said they are helpless in it.
                Where do i stand now i don't understand. And who will help me with my money and harassment.

                  I have been using TATA Photon+ since one and a half year. But since last 8 months its speed is pathetic, don't buy it. Even their customer care executives talk like and they don't have enough product knowledge to solve your problems. Sometimes even website like google doesn't open from TATA photon+..... I'll sabotage the image of Photon+ online so that nobody ever buy it. Already i have posted the same on many forums and facebook. Its speed barely goes up from 30 KBps. Photon+ is a fraud.

                    What it the problem with Tata Photn Whiz ? I am staying in Ratnagiri Maharashtra. I have made the payment of Rs. 1499 on 14.08.12 & returned back the amount on 17.08.2099. Again I made payment on 22.08.12 for Rs. 1499 . Still Photon is not activated. The technology is so advanced & I am not expecting such delay from Tata companies . In you were to charge Tata Sky onlne, If your TV is on.. Recharge icon gets vanished as soon as you make online payment. That Worst IRCTC also takes payment & issue ticket. What is wwong with Tata Photon ? Why it is not geting charged immediately. That call center does not know the status of your Photon charge. This is just disgust.

                      I am using tata photon whiz Connection no. [protected] since December 2010. I purchased this photon from M/S Computer Home, Near Jamalpur Chowk, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana-141010, Ph. No. [protected] on 05/12/10. Photon whiz S/N is KT7NAB[protected]. I also submitted my id proof and residence proof on the same time to the above said vendor. Now few days back my connection has been blocked by tata photon, when I contacted customer care, I got the reply that your Id and residence proof has not been received and I came to know that this photon has been registered on some other person’s name. Sir this is a case of fake registration and harrasment to me. They disconnected my services after aproximately two years of smooth run without any prior notice to me. Kindly look into the matter as the fault is either on the part of tata photon or on the part of the company's dealer.

                      I am using tata photon whiz Connection no. [protected] since December 2010.                         I subscribed to tata photon plus Prepaid by a dealer on 16-jul-12 with number [protected], he submitted my documents as per my knowledge. But on
                        9th-aug-12 in the night my connection was not going to make showing "Remote Computer did not respond", as I have tried the C-Care no 1800
                        266 0000 mentioned on the subscription for this concern, but dat was not working after entering the tata docomo number & switch again for giving me the menu option for language choosing. I then Recharge my account worth Rs. 700 from the same Dealer. Even after recharging it shows me the same while connecting the internet. I then go to the dealer regarding the same but it dint worked, finally I took[protected] may b, through which I got to know that my the reason for disconnection is "Documents Rejected". I then go for nearest Service Center at Pimpri(Pune, Maharashtra). There at that time they were not responding n nobody to serve me properly then I ask one service-man, he told me that ur documents may get rejected and u can submit it here but told me that we are off on 15-aug, so I left they gave me wrong information the shop was open n in the evening when I just passed by I saw the center is open I was telling to submit my doc. But they again told me its time for closing, today was half day..THIS IS HOW U SERVE YOUR CUSTOMER. I submitted my documents on 16-aug,Thursday then & on the next day they called me like ur Number([protected]) has been disconnected, please come here for new number. And they told me like u will issued by a new number
                        ([protected]) and for that I have to pay Rs.400(100 - issuing new no, 300
                        - recharge), YOUR SERVICES TO MAKE N CREDIT YOUR MONEY THIS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE I GUESS. I don't know about my Recharge yet which is on Old Number ([protected]) which I had done from the dealer, I cant imagine that ur service will b so BAD...it is Depressing and I will definitely give this feedback whoever ask me about TATA DOCOMO. About the Recharge thing I would like to say if I got Trasaction ID then I request you to revert back my Recharge amount.



                        The 1st improvement of yours should be - Make the Care numbers available statewise atleast, bcoz my enquiry delayed of dat.

                        2nd - if any document rejected or you r disconnecting any NUMBER, atleast inform the person - becoz he/she may need not know the reason n they have imp. Work on net.

                        3rd - don't underestimate ur customers, and don't try to make go rounds on service centers as they are also busy

                        4th - make proper tracking of revert transaction id if we insert the number in which we have done any recharge in case of RECHARGE THROUGH DEALER,so it will revert back to customer as early as possible.

                        5th- Do individual messages/call on any transaction n cancellation, including don't swallow the money of customers as u got any reason for commissioning not in policies or terms n conditions. Make people aware o[censored]r T&C. Make proper brochure or info pages.

                        6th- Before closing any number or disconnecting any number atleast inform the customer that your number will be near by closing date whether the customer had took it from service center or dealer. And don't close their online account abruptly, if they do all the details as a transaction statement u shld avail to the customer in the email id.

                        7th - The revert back procedure u say in the customer care call, but it actually didn't happen. It shld be as quick as possible with being acknowledge to the customer too.

                          Tata company cheated us and have collected Rs 951 bill from us unethical way.
                          We have used Tataphoton internet with the no: [protected].
                          I have called customer care and raised the request for 3 Months safecustody on 20th October, 2012.
                          But customer care person has taken it as 3 days , they sent me Rs 951 without any usage.
                          They cheated customer unethical way.
                          Now I want them to prove thru

                                The download speed of TATA Photon Plus never goes beyond 0.4Mbps where as what they promise is 3 Mbps. Also, it goes to a low speed mode of 150 Kbps without any reason. On contacting the customer care, we are told to change the mode to "Hybrid" - which means that the device will switch to one of the mode automatically. But this is just a way of fooling the customer. Reaching the customer care is pain too. The number given initially ([protected]) simply redirects you to another number - [protected]. After thousands of options, this one asks you to call another number, after you type in your TATA Indicom number. On calling the third number and typing in the options for language etc, the customer care person asks you to call [protected].

                                  I am a TATA group employee, working for Tata Consultancy Services Limited. I am sorry to say this, but I had always experienced hard times with Tata Photon+ Service. I don't believe Tata Tele Services train their Customer Service Representatives. This complaint is with respect to the account number[protected] and Tata Photon number [protected]. I had subscribed to TN-PHOTON PLUS [protected]@250 Plan. I had an outstanding balance of Rs.804 on June 18th. I paid it in full on 18th June 2012 at a local Tata Docomo Store (Sholinganallur Branch) and also requested for a disconnection of the Service. The request was taken and registered in their System. I was told that it'll take 3 business days for the disconnection request to be completed and I will receive a final bill after that. But, I am receiving bills continuously till date and I had sent to the store couple of times later to verify if the account is still active or not. Unfortunately, the account was active all the time. I haven't even connected the Tata Photon+ device even once after that. I am not willing to pay this amount.
                                  I sincerely advise people to not to take Tata Photon+ service hereafter.

                                    I bought my tata photon plus postpaid connection one week ago..but still iam getting speed upto 16-25 kbps.....
                                    what is that, they promises speed of 3.1 mb.
                                    And what we are getting, tata services runnig this market openly, and what you are doing incase of thousand complaints,,,so sad I s india is a country of cheater...

                                      My tata photon plus number is [protected]. I had been having problems with its connectivity for last two years. The speed was slow with frequent disconnections. I had complaint a lot but they took no action always saying we will send you the executive at your address but nobody came ever. Finally, I asked them to disconnect but they didnot. Still they are not disconnecting. They call too much regarding bill payements but never address my issue. They say we will forward your requests but next time I call there is no request and I keep on getting bills. Now they even threat me by saying there will be a court case if you dont pay the bills. Some body tel me why should I, when I haven't used the connection for past several months. Please help me......

                                      kindly disconnect the connection, because authoriser say to us use this one month free after one month automaticaly it will disconnect. there for we use but after one month connection will not cut but this month bill 561/- we going to paid after this month bill is come we will not respond

                                      Tata Photon+ — disconnecting connecting

                                      My name is jeevan kumar. i am living in goregaon est mumbai.
                                      on 26 July 2011 i purchase a TATA photon+ broadband connection from TATA croma center Oberio mall goregaon mumbai.
                                      as per the requirment i fill the form and submit the photocopy of my passport with passport size photo for id and resi proof.
                                      but after few day means 3,4 days they disconnect my connection on the ground that they dint receive the documents.
                                      i call to TATA croma customer care they told me that your connection will be activated within two day.
                                      after that i call to croma and tata photon+ customer care then they told me u have to submit your documents again.i went again to croma center and again i submit all documents..after waiting two days i call to croma then they told me that u have to submit red background photo otherwise your connection will not be activated.
                                      i again went to croma and submit my red background photo but still my broadband connection is not activated.
                                      i am working with polaris soft.they giving me salary for work not for these type of work,bcz of that my work effected so much and i paid money for phone calls and taxi fare.
                                      please let me know who is responsible for that and who will pay my inconvenience cost.

                                      Tata Photon — WRONG BILL AND CONNECTION DISCONNECT

                                      I am having a tata photon which is having really bad servise as they have disconected my conetion without any information as i have made my payment as well as i have no due and i called to the customer care regarding the same then they were abusing as well as shouting on customer they are saying you can complaint about me as said by Riya Sharma form this no[protected] i have complaint the same to the nodel officer as not received any reply from last 10Days i have lost my 05 lac arround due to disconection of my conection as they have sent a wrong bill as well as disconect.

                                      Tata Photon — Speed Issue and Disconnection

                                      Hi,

                                      I had purchase Tata Photon for 1200 Rs a year back and the sales person said my area had excellent connectivity. My plan was 750 ( with 3 MBPS for first 5GB and then 512 KBPS after that unlimited). For first few days, though the usage was below 5GB, speed always used to be around 150 KBPS. Sometimes the net would simply not load the page though usage was below 5GB. I had raised complaints many times, but the Engineer would come say my area has high traffic and so they would see what can be done.

                                      After 2/3 months, the issue was not sorted and I was paying the bills regularly. Then they said that the as area has high traffic, they would not be able to guarantee the speed. Which means I had to close the connection. To close the connection I had to pay the remaining bill. However this means I lose my 1200 for the device, for 4/5 months, I am paying for 3MBPS and not even able to browse at times and still need to pay the bill. I told the call center that they should settle the payment against the 1200 I paid for the device and take the device back. They said that is not possible and I have to settle the bill.

                                      So this complete cheating form Tata Photon part - first they say we would give you the best speed and service, after 4/5 months they can not sort out the issue and due to their speed problem I have to close the connection. So the total loss I had to bear 1200 + 4/5 months with low speed = around 2/3 K. So I defaulted on their payment and have not been using the device.

                                      Now they said they are raising a legal complaint. Now I want to know, if I can raise a complaint against them - "Failing to fulfil the promise of good service and reclaim the amount".

                                      Tata Photon Plus — no not disconnected

                                      I have call to customer care for three times to disconnect a no. which was misplaced. The no is [protected] .i request them to disconnect the no. immediately. but it is not disconnected till now.
                                      please tell me who is responsible for payments and misuse?

                                      As per the discuss with the TATA customer care for the no. [protected] ‏(My TATA connection no.) they are not ready to disconnect my connection from past 2- 3 months that's why I have to pay the rental money every month and they are forcing me to use otherwise they will send me the legal notice against the outstanding bill amount pls provide me the solution and take the legal action against them.

                                        I BOUGHT TATA PHOTON PLUS DONGLE FROM AMRITSAR WITH A POST PAID PLAN.I REQUESTED THEM TO CONVERT IT TO PREPAID LATER. BUT DESPITE SEVERAL FORMS OF COMMUNICATION THEY DIDN'T DO IT.
                                        I WILL REQUEST ALL MY FRIENDS NEVER TO BUY A POST PAID PLAN OF TATA PHOTON AS IT IS EXPENSIVE WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.........
                                        I Purchased Tata Photon Plus on 4th of November and collected the device and submit the documents, dealer commits to use the preactivation coupon for 1hr for and device will be activated with in 24 hrs but its not been done, when i contacted the dealer again they asked to submit the one more Address proof, i submitted the Ration card and present address proof of our BSNL Telephone bill copy to them on saturday and dealer said it will be activated by today or monday, but its not been done. When i contacted the customer care two of the executives while transferring the call the disconnected, i tried once at 10th of november around 10 o'colck, i spoke with the agent "RAMAKRISHANA" for around 45mins and finally he took my complaint and commited for a call back within a hour and gave a complaint number[protected] but there is no call back received then i contacted the customer care once at 1.45 am (midnight) and spoke to "RAMAN" asked the status of my device activation they said this complaint was raised 3hrs ago and it will be resolved by today before 12 PM. I informed them i was waiting for 4 days but they are telling the same it will be resolved by 12PM noon nothing we can help and i asked to transfer the call to Escalation department he said they are busy with some other call and finally i asked their email address and informed if its not been activated i am going to submit the device the dealer by evening and i need a refund, they said we will mention the same.
                                        Few questions that i still not understand:-
                                        1. Why customer suffer as he submit the all the documents and payments
                                        2. Why Tata indicom is taking this much time to take for a activating the internet connection and respond the customer
                                        3. If customer faces this much problem before activating the connection how many problems customer has to face after the activation.
