Dear sir/madam,

I have been using the tata photon plus connection for almost a year now.4000 rs advance rental plan was activated on my number in july 2012 till january 2013.on 6th january when i called on helpline number i was continously told that the server is down and call later.then next day when i called i was told that on my number a plan of 950 is activated as per the rule.i wanted a 1200 rs rental plan for which i was told that it is not possible as the plan of 950 is activated on this number.on the bill generation day i was shocked to see a bill of whopping Rs.4000 which was charged to me without my consent.When i called the customer care this time, i was told that now it has been activated and 2 emails were send to me (which i did not receive) for consent.I request you to activate the 1200(11 gb plan) or 950(5 gb as per the rule plan) as i do not want to use the 5gb unlimited plan.also i would like to bring to your notice that when i requested to speak to a senior person i was told that they are busy.i was put on hold for 10 minutes 3 times but still i was not able to get through with senior.request you to resolve the issue at the earliest.

    Hi ,

    With regards to my Photon Plus No [protected] , I have asked for the plan change in the month of July , but it was not done stating that there was an technical issue , again i got the same bill . When i called customer care again they were very rude to me and disconnected my connection and every time when i call CC they were not responding . But I used to get my bill . I really don't understand if i don't use i mean i connection was disconnected then how can i get bill.
    And again this collection people called me and Asked me to pay the bill for the 1st time , i told my concern with that fellow who called me .
    But next time onwards i used to get harassment calls and started saying " come out i will see u "(raudism ) .
    TATA PHOTON is not responding to me now .
    So thought of registering a complaint in the local police station on harassment calls and Also Consumer court

    my name is Amit, tata photon+ number is [protected] ....m not able to use my device from past 2 months ( that should be enough to open up your eyes) & regularly almost twice a week complaining to your customercare since then...from the past 2 weeks your stupid nodal office members are making false promises of JE visit....there has been not a single JE visit from your end since past 2 months & now m frustrated & writing this email to you guys ....

    i've tried the highest authorities i could talk to including Mr. mayank Jain, Veneet Bhatia & Sudesh & i found them too useless & irresponsinble as your other CC executives....

    these guys are simply ruining the reputition of a good brand name like TATA with this kind of lazy behaviour ...i mean a small issue that could be solved within hours is taking so long that it's been over 2 months & these all guys are still answerless .........

    still i[censored] are not able to resolve this issue ...i want my full money back i spent on purchasing your sluggish device , so that i can go with Reliance or MTS ......i chose TATA over reliance but i now guess i made a wrong choice & i want my full money back...........i don't want to hear more excuses from your end...just a straight answer...can u solve this issue now ?? or just take your device with you & pay me my 3500 bucks ....

      I have been using tata photon 3g dongle whose number is [protected] for past 3-4 months.Initially it worked just fine,but these days working with the dongle has become increasingly irritating.Connection is one issue,it takes a lot of time to connect and once connected it loses connection in a few minutes..Not sure what to do in the case..!!

        m using tata photon whiz modem from 2yrs...it is giving various problems...main pb is m always doing unlimited 333 recharge..then also they are deducting downloading recharges..first few months thet r nt doing such rediculous things..then what type of this is unlimited recharge???????????

          My self Suresh Dammalapati, 15 days back I have taken a Tata Photon plus (Net Card) from one of the Tata Representative
          And that time i was clearly Asked About all the Detail, and they said speed about 3.1 MBPS Unlimited Down load or Browsing Up To 60 days Without any terms and conditions And i was paid 1500/- net at that time And also they were not given any receipt to me

          After 10 Days On wards I am facing problem with that Couple of times i called to that representative but he is not picking my call,
          if i called him from New no he will answer and saying that i am in meeting like that,


          For this reason i also complained to his Supervisor he was also not answering, and also i called to customer care they were giving different no

            Hi,

            My friend bought a Tata Photon device on December 4th 2012. Its been 25 days of purchase. But still the device hasnt been activated. We are frustrated calling the customer care, sending mail and going to store directly. For the past 13 days, whenever we call, the only reply we get is "Local verification is Pending". Also false promises by the customer care that the local verification will be over by next 24Hrs or 48Hrs. I feel as if we are cheated. They are saying that they wont refund the amount we had paid. Also the device is useless in other networks(i.e i cant use the device for other network).

              I have purchased a Tata photon 3G dongle. Sometimes, I have to work from home and I need high speed internet speed to do my office tasks from home. For about a week, it worked fine without any issue. After that I never got the 3G network. I always have to connect to 2G network om which I am getting the maximum speed 10-20kbps. My work includes voice and video calls, which are not possible on this low speed. I have called them a lot of times. I have sent them emails, but they have not provided me any resolution. I have escalated this to their higher authorities, but it seems like they do not want to help their customers. I have informed them enormous times about this issue, but they had not provided any clear response. Despite of all these things, they generated my bill and calling me to make the payment. Please help me in solving this problem or give me a guidance to do further proceedings against TATA DOCOMO 3G Customer Care which cant help their Customers in a simple request whereas they boasts of providing best customer services from all telecom providers.

              Even they have updated my phone number in Tata photon plus instead of 3G. Every time I called them, I connected to photon plus and the representative informed me to dial using a different phone number. I have only one personal number. Whenever, i need to speak to their customer care, I have dial using a different phone which I have borrow from my friends.

              I can provide mail replies from customer care executives from tata docomo if required for further proceedings.

              Also, I am attaching the screenshots as well. In one of the screenshot, I am not getting any 3G signal. The screenshot shows the speed that I am getting at 2G.

              This issue is still not resolved. Its the best Tata DOCOMO can do (not providing the service).

              I am using tata docomo 3G dongle post paid connection.I am also having the same problem. Frequent disconnection is there and the speed is 4kb to 20 kbps only.

              My work includes voice and video calls, which are not possible on this low speed. I have called them a lot of times.               My issue was not resolved. Finally, I gave up and switched to a different ISP. I am using Airtel now. They are good. Atleast they listen to their customers, not like Tata Docomo, who don't really care about their customers.

                I am 'Ajit Verma' has taken the Tata Photon+ dongle from Tata TeleService -Sales Executive 'Rishabh' mobile : ([protected]), Satyender Yadav([protected]) on 20 dec 2012. Promised to be activate the Dongle on Next day.

                Now the sales executive is not picking the call or calling back at all. Frustrating ......
                Is it how you treat the customers, just sell them , take the money and thats all...

                  TATA Photon Whiz

                  I migrated to a prepaid Tata Photon Whiz from a postpaid account. I recharged the connection for INR 199 on December 14, 2012 and even after 15 days of running around to solve the problem, all I get after the modem activation process is :your call reference number-149 is blocked,please contact customer care. Customer Care asks me to go to the service center and the service center redirects me to customer care.

                  Hyderabad support centers are absolutely useless!

                  i got new tata photon whiz free for my HP laptop but after using it for one month now its not at all working its showing errors from last 3months plantey of times i contacted customer care but not getting any solution i am fed up of it. so friends i request you that please dont buy tata photon.
                  We have purchased 4 PHOTON-WHIZ cards. out of which 2 are activated & 2 are not.
                  I dont have any customer care number.
                  Please guide me.

                  Iam a reserch scholar from University of Kerala. My complaint is that though my photon whiz covering the dept. its not connecting when Iam in the Research Hostel. That meanse in short Im nable to use my device after 4pm till 10 am

THEY CONNECTED ME WITH THE LOCAL REP BUT FOR TECHNICAL ISSUES THE CONVERSATION WAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO ESTABLISHED.I TRIED AGAIN AFTER FEW WEEK, FINALLY I GOT REPLY THAT THEIR ONLY REP IS NOT AVAILABLE.IT SINCE 6 WEEK, NO ONE HAS VISITED MY PLACE YET.PRESENTLY MY DEVICE IS NOT IN THE STATE OF SERVICE BUT I AM PAYING THE MONTHLY RENTAL.

                    I purchase a TATA Photon device which no is [protected]. and i lost it than 15 december i block it and renew second device which have same number([protected]), and i visit many time in tata photon service center but they did not given any positive response, i call also customer care but they always said please visit our outlets or service center, my device is also not active now i am also an employee and i am not able to contact or visit daily in their office.
                    kindly help me as soon as possible to activate my device.

Tata Account no[protected]... but my net speed is too low it will comes up to 32-40kpbs.... plz increase my speed... i cant able to open a web page and i cant able to download anything quicker... i am searching for the place where i get more air and i too generating a air through paper, note etc... plz help me.. otherwise plz refund my amount.. i change the another net connection...i takes more time even to open a webpage....

                        Dear Sir,

                        I, Mr.Joaquim Alemeo had ordered Photon (form no. 3130997) from Tata Photon on 4th August 2010. I had paid the full amount of Rs.2299 + 99 cheque no.415647 and 415648 dated on 4 August 2010 drawn on Central Bank of India.

                        In spite of all the requirements fulfilled according them I have still not received the instrument nor are they ready to refund the amount.

                        I have been continuously complaining and informing for the needful to be done. There is no response from them hence taking this step of putting the complaint at the consumer court. Hoping to get a prompt reply

                          My name is NOOR MOHAMMAD and I am using TATA PHOTON WHIZ from more than past 1 year and It was working properly till few days.On 17/Dec/2012,My unlimited internet plan for Rs-199 in homezone had expired and I recharged it again on 18/Dec/2012 for Rs-199. I was using the internet normally in homezone and on next day I found that It was not connecting,then I checked the Inbox and found that there were several Messages showing the balance deductions I contacted the costumer care.First of all I was shocked to find that My number is registered on wrong I.D.He is someone with name RASHID,H.No.196,Devi Das ,Khatauli,Muzaffarnagar-251001,then the costumer care told me that you are not using the device in home zone that is why the balance is deducting .I want to ask the company that I am using this device on same city,even on same computer since more than 1 year then where the homezone had gone till yet.After that they told me that you have no core balance in your account and you must recharge it.I recharged it for Rs.50 and again I found that balance was deducting from core balance.Till then I am calling customer care repeatedly and I am not getting satisfactory answer.I am using TATA services since several years and I am very unsatisfied with company's service.I request the company to restore my services and also to change my I.D to my original I.D as early as possible other wise I will be forced to switch to some other company.I have deposited it to nearest centre.

                          TATA Photon Whiz — Internet Issue & Speed difference

                          As per the email from bestteleservices vendor of Photon connection, the Photo Wizz is supposed to be working at 230Kbps but when I connect it give no more than 153.6 kbps, which is false & wrong committment given by Tataphoton team as per the email attached to me.

                          Hence I am been cheated with wrong commitment & kept in dark with actual & offered speed of Tata Photo Wizz.

                          Hence I would request TATA Photon team to refund my Amount of 1500+ 500 ( Rs.1500 for Tataphoton wizz modem device & Rs.500 for inconvenience caused to me)

                          I have logged 2 complaints since 10 days, but no proper resolution to the complain, & now the device stopped working.

                            Tata Photon Plus — Excessive amount in Bill

                            Hello Sir/Mam,

                            I am the customer of TATA Photon plus Internet Data card and I am using it since last 1 year. My Account number for TATA photon plus is [protected] under My name Praful Karambelkar. My complaint is about Billing. I received SMS from TATA Tele service saying that my June 2011 month bill is generated and Amount of RS 1088. Actually my above account is under 400 per month Unlimited plan and according to this plan my bill should be not more than 450 rs P/M including taxes. I did my last payment of rs 541 on 1st June 2011 which was for Month of May. It was delayed to due date so I paid rs 100 Extra Total is 641 rs. Now I called TATA photon customer care/Nodal office and they said that your bill is not yet refereeing on system to check if there is nay issue. My bill generation date is 5th of every month and today is 9th June but still bill is not yet reflected on Online system. HARD copy I receive every month 15th date. Which is again concern if bill is generated on 5th of Every Month then why this much of time. I got very bad service from customer care and my issue not resolved up to satisfaction. Nodal office asked me to call back in another 24 hours which is again frustrating point for customer.I would request consumer forum to help me to get my billing issue resolved. And Warn Tata Photon dept to dispatch bill on time.

                              I received one bill for the month ending 27.11.2012 for Rs.1718.55 comprising of Rs.255.62 for walky No.65002475 & Rs.1462.93 for photon plus No.[protected]. My account No. is[protected]. The bill of photon plus was exorbitantly high since i had surrendered photon plus w.e.f. 18.11.2012 and did not use it 7 days prior to that. I lodged complaint and demanded details o[censored]sage of photon since i am sure i am being harassed simply because i have surrendered the photon. Continuous harassing mails producing nothing of value or substance followed. Finally i was sent a mail on 21.12.2012 that my outstanding against photon plus is nil. I checked the account and found outstanding continues to show there. I enquired and was told matter is being looked into. On 21.12.2012 I received one call from your office that my oustanding dues against walky is Rs.752/- I asked why? Your bill says it is only rs.255.62. I was assured the matter is being looked into and details will be sent to me. I enquired through mail and received one mail today that my outstanding continues to be Rs.1718.55. That is extremely humiliating. I am neither being provided with details o[censored]sage of photon nor being provided with correct outstanding amount. Please correct your bill and advise me the correct outstanding so that i may clear it. Enough is enough. If I do not receive any satisfactory response from you I shall resort to other legal recourse for harassing & humiliating me for the last 15 days and putting me & my family into extreme harassing situation.

                                I am tata photon internet service holder and I asked to changes my plan of 990 unlimited to 250 ( on 29 July ), He said he will change plan.
                                Now in August they charging me Data Usage Charges : 500.00 and I DON'T LOGIN FOR SINGLE TIME EVEN AS I LOST MY DONGLE WHILE SHIFTING !!!

                                Bill Period : 09/08/12 to 08/09/12
                                Amount : Rs. 842.70, ( Monthly Rentals : 250.00)

                                I got call from
                                1. vision.[protected]@yahoo.com - On 2 Nov, To settled issue and I asked him to send my login session as i am sure that i dont login for single time even but later they dont respond.

                                2. Mr. Nilima from store - on 15 Nov , To settle issue, I explained entire case and asked her to give solution , she said she will talk to main boss and will call again, still I am waiting for call, I called to store for asking , why Nilim not calling, lady on call said, she is on leave.

                                3. Mr. Pooja from Shivajinagar consumer court : on 19 Dec, I again explained entire case, she said she will call again in 5 min , conversation is of 10 am, its 2 pm now, still waiting for call.

                                Please please don't buy Tata photon get, they almost touch your feet to take plan but later we come to know, we are just adding fund for photon account, NO responsible person for solving issue, Customer care closed ticket by just giving reply that your problem is solved!!!!

                                  I had a tata photon connection[protected]. However, few months back, it stopped working and whenever I tried to connect, it was very slow and the desired pages would not open. I called the representatives several times and every time they say that something or the other is wrong. Finally I requested for disconnection as it was not working at all.However the representative tried selling it back to me. I refused and even said I wont pay any more bills. And I stopped using it completely.
                                  But then I continued receiving bills and calls. Every time they called I requested to have it disconnected and said I have done it long back but to no avail. Now I have started getting legal emails and continuous calls from delhi court with someone talking quiet rudely and asking me to appear in court. This is a total harassment when I have stopped using the service and have requested for cancellation. I have never been a non-paying customer. As long I had the connection working, I paid my bills on time and never kept any dues.

                                  Why should I go through this, when I didn't even use it and have done my part clearly. I love Tata Photon. But at this rate. I don't think I would advise anyone to keep it.

                                  Tata Photon Plus — Unnecessary harassing

                                  My bill is not yet generated. In website it is showing wrong amount, it is showing bill of two months together. When i'm contacting to the coco shop, they are doing nothing everyday they ask me to come over there. When i reach there they are telling me that we send it to some official but he cant do anything come tomorrow we will send to some other official. This thing happens last 1 week everyday.
                                  Nobody is giving me a correct solution nor they solve my problem.
                                  The official name is Mr. Mahmood and the coco shop representative is Mr. Amrit
                                  Dear friends,

                                  I regret my decison to go for Tata Photon card. (not one three)

                                  I was using Tata photon card and no issues with the speed as this was sued for general browsing only. I misplaced my card (firsttime) and when i approached the Customer care center near by my house they suggested to go for new temporary card (cheaper one with slow speed) and keep this on Hold for three months. However i found my old card in weeks time and approached the same centre to cancel my new temporary card. also i had called up the customer care center regarding request for cancellation of new temporarily card. Please note that i never had chance to use the new card since i found my old card. however temporary card was not cancelled for unknown reasons and i was getting bills for five months and finally i had to pay five months bills to cancel my temporary card.

                                  Agin I had lost my Tata Photon card and when i approached their customer center which is nearby to my house they had asked me to buy new Tata photon card and cancel the previous number. I had requested them to cancel the old card after making payment for all balance and brought new one after paying full equipment charges. My package was for 950.

                                  But unfortunately the new Tata Photon equipment stopped working within one week and this was informed to customer care center as well their office near by to our house. However, when i received my bill i noticed that they had charged for entire month even thou my new card was damaged and they had acknowledged my complaint. Also another shock to see that instead of canceling my old card they had put my old card on Hold. I was informed by them that i had pay the balance payment including Hold charges to allow them to make cancellation. with no option i paid the entire bill and requested them to cancel the cards (both)

                                  I had another shock after three months when one lady called me and informed me that three months Hold period is over and now from next month onwards they will start charging for entire amount. I tried in vain to explain that i had never made any request for Hold and instead requested them to cancel the service for Old card for which i have already made payments twice even thou i had not used their service and also made request for cancellation by telephone/ email and in person at their center nearby to my house.

                                  In spite of my request i had received another bill including HOLD period charges plus full month charges. When i approached their customer care center on phone i was informed that unfortunately my requests for cancellation was not registered in their system and only option would be to pay the Bill amount to cancel the service. Since i have busy schedule and would not like them call my home in my absence. I opted to make payment for entire period even thou the service was not used for six months. I sent the scanned copy of payment along with request for cancellation. I received acknowledgement that my request is received and my card is canceled.

                                  However now after two months, I am receiving another Bill from them. I was informed that it takes three to four days to cancel and 15 days payment had to be made after making cancellation. Now i have decided to go legally since it appears that their greed for money and also no gurantee that they will send one more bill. Trust me i have recived one more mail saying that my services are being restored thou I have not made any request.

                                  Altogether, After making my first request for cancellation i would have paid more then rs 5000 as payment without using their service. this apart from making payment (35000 old card and 2700 new card)for new Photon card equipment.

                                  I have great respect for Mr.Tata and this was one of the reson i use tata products, alos I had no issue with speed and would have gone for another card for my use but with my above experience with their Tata Photon cards, I decided not to go for tata product any more.

                                  Conclusion : Tata Photon Hyderbad has no Business ethics.
                                  Tata Photon in Hyderabad has no facility for cancellation of services. They will keep sending the bills even after cancellation and their Bill department which is filled with CRIMINALS try to collect payments even thou you have made balance payments for cancellation and they will keep sending bills/ emails/ calls as you see in news about Credit card payments collection agents.
                                  Their customer care will reply with greetings but will make no effort to solve your issue and instead will leave the issue with criminals to collect the payments any possible way.

                                  We have been getting this kind of harrassment call alot, I have joined with more then 100 people who got the same problem from tata telecom and photon services. We are building network so that we can jointly put harrassment case against this service and sue them and put a stay against them. We have already spoken to the best lawyer.

                                    I had a corporate connection and asked for bill plan change in March 2012. The plan never got changed inspite of numerous email reminders. Finally I asked for cancellation of services and till date I have no confirmation that the connection has been cancelled. I keep receiving E Bills and this is super frustrating how I have been ill-treated and harassed. The ref number of my service request for cancellation of services was taken in after a few months!                                       This was my complaint mail to Tata Docomo-

                                      Dear Sir/Mam,

                                      On 1st December 2012, I recharged my 3G dongle# [protected] with Rs.850 to
                                      get 5GB data balance. The bank transaction snapshot is attached along with
                                      this mail (850recharge.jpg).

                                      I did not get this 5GB balance. On speaking to 4 different executives on
                                      the phone and online chat, there has been no solution to this. No one seems
                                      to understand the problem. Some executive says that I did a normal recharge
                                      instead of special recharge, another says I recharged with Rs.753 (Taha-
                                      online chat) which was not valid. On tata docomo website there is no option
                                      to choose the type of recharge when I enter my number, since this is a 3G
                                      dongle.

                                      I recharge through citibank net banking, as I have been doing since the
                                      past few months. I have attached snapshots of only Oct-Nov (1month) bank
                                      statement. You can not only see that I recharge over Rs.2500 for my
                                      internet in a month, but also that I have done all these recharges through
                                      Citibank Net Banking and all have gone through successful everytime,
                                      including Rs.850 recharge. If you want, I can send you previous months bank
                                      statements showing more recharges for the same 3G dongle number done
                                      directly through Citibank Net Banking.

                                      Also, there is no option for Citibank Debit Card or Citibank Net Banking
                                      payment gateways through Tata Docomo website. So please do not tell me that
                                      I have done these recharges through Docomo website earlier and hence the
                                      current recharge was a failure. This is only the debit card, I have also
                                      recharged more times through my credit card. If you want I will send you
                                      snapshots for that as well.

                                      Please put an option in 3G dongle software to check usage so that we can be
                                      alerted once balance is about to finish. When suddenly there is no data
                                      balance, there is no way to recharge immediately also and the work gets
                                      hampered. Everytime calling [protected] to keep a track of the data balance
                                      is not feasible. Some kind of alert for low balance should be given. Also,
                                      if a new recharge is done, then it should be added to the previous balance,
                                      instead of completely wiping out what was left. Everytime otherwise I will
                                      wait for balance to come to 10 or 20MB so that I do not waste the remaining
                                      balance when doing new recharge! Please consider these 2 suggestions!

                                      I hope you understand how valuable a customer I am for Docomo 3G. I hence
                                      request you to credit (add) the 5GB data balance to my current usage. I did
                                      this recharge on 1st December and have given you all proofs for the same.

                                      Another recharge on 8th December of Rs.255 went wrong. It was debited but I did not get internet balance. Mr. Rahul from [protected] called today and said "That recharge of Rs.850 went wrong and now it is wasted, nothing can be done about it" and sent me a message that the service request PSMR12046867 has been resolved.

                                      Overall I have lost Rs.1105 and there has been no resolution. Now even through the Docomo website the recharge does not happen. Any denomination I choose, it says that it is not valid for my number.

                                        My prepaid Tata Photon No. is [protected], last month on date 03-nov-2012, 1.5 gb (1500 rs.) has deducted from my account, I opened many complaints on my missed balance, all my complaints has been closed without any action & not informing to me. And I have done recharging with in the validity. I called many times on this, the tech support person always says that as I am going to get my balance soon. How many days should I wait for my balance. Irritating me on this, they are closing my complaints without my intimation. Why they are cheating like this. Should take action on it.
