The service of tata photan plus is pathetic. It takes 15 mins to even open a home page. But anyways I was trying to call the customer care service. I have tried their toll free no.s ([protected])repeatedly from morning to evening for last one week.But i only wasted my time. Nobody responded from the company's side. The post sales service is very poor 7 pathetic.I am a very unhappy customer of Tata indiconma(Photan +) and will never recommend anyone about this.

    On May 13th one girl and a boy came to my home saying they are from Tata Photon. They are marketing people, they take the details, check and documents and then do not respond. Money deducted from my account. Now more than 20 days passed but they have not responded to me and neither picking up the call so please be aware of them. It seems they are fraud.Girl name is Vanita Chatla and her phone number is [protected], so people be aware of this these marketing persons. Its good to go personally and get photon instead of giving details to these fraud marketing people, they may use your details for wrong purpose.

      My siginal strength always remains below 75% and im getting a slow speed of around 1.5 mbps im not getting a speed of 3.1mbps.

      TATA PHOTON PLUS — LOW SPEED

      Hi,
      I have a tata photon+ device([protected]), , I purchased this device around 3 months back at the time of purchasing the executive told me that this plan is unlimited plan, I will get speed upto 3.1 MBPS till usage (1GB)after that speed will be..decreas to 128 kbps....but it not gives such of speed...now it gives only 10 to 15 kbps....in this way TATA company cheat us..........

        sir,
        i use Tata photon plus postpaid Internet connection.I got thee bill in march.thee due date was 18the march,2012.i paid thee amount of rs.1112/- on 17the march,2012 in thee tata office.thee receiver didn't give thee receipt of thee payment i made.i made many complaints.i got a call from tata customer care that i didn't made my payment in march.but i had already done it.thee receiver didn't registered my payment value in thee account.till then my connection was cut off.in April i received another bill.i had to pay thee previous bill as well withe thee April's amount.my connection started.thee employee who took my march payment accepts that he took thee money without giving me thee receipt.i went in thee office to get back thee amount of 1112/- which i paid on 17the march.as i had paid it second time withe thee receipt in April.now its thee end of may.i still didn't get that amount back from thee office even after complaining many times.kindly look upon thee matter.

          I was using tata photons number-[protected]. when I asked for details then details was seems wrong when i made question that you have charged 125 mb for 125 seconds(which speed i never got). Then next time they did modify and remove the column which was showing that which looks wrong...

          Overall, they had charged wrong bill .

          I have all communication in my email.

          Please take action else give some advise what step should i take next.

              SUB: I got bill for first 6 days usage on corporate connection where I had first 2months absolute free usage as for my plan…

              This is Hari, I took Tata docomo photon plus (NO: [protected]) from New Tippasandra Photon collection center, as corporate connection on 26th April, and this dangle activated on May 9th after a long discussions and couple of complaints on consumer forum. But I got bill on May 14th for 534.00.

              As for the discussions while taking the corporate connection from you the plan details as follows: the photon plus dangle casts 1200/-, two month absolute free usage and 750/- monthly rental for 5GB+unlimited. I took the connection after your promise of the plan details.

              I struggled a lot to activate my Photon plus connection for 15 days… I made couple of complaints with Tatatel customer care and also I made compliant on consumer forum which made my connection activated finally on May 9th.

              A day before activating my connection I met Saravanan (his contact no:[protected]) (who is managing new Tippasandra Tata Photon collection center) and I spoke with him more than an hour about the activation issues. Saravanan asked me to accepts the connection as the normal one (not corporate connection) and I clearly mention with him that, I don’t want this connection if it is not corporate connection and I am happy if I get my money back, that Saravanan accepted to give my money back if the connection not activates in a day or also if its not corporate connection. Also he asked me to bring all the accessories to get money back if it is not activated in next day.

              The same day evening I got call regarding Activation of my dangle from[protected], and they said the connection activated. I asked them whether it is corporate connection or normal connection, they confirmed that it is corporate connection.

              I don’t understand why the TATATEL peoples are not stick in their business rules, if they are quite following them why I got bill now?

              I visited Tippsandra office and they asked about this cheating/harassment and they asked me to write an email…. I don’t understand why Tatatel peoples cheating customers like this. still there is no reply for the email.

              Someone please help me to close this issue or let me get my money back.

                Sir I have Tata Photon Plus and its number is [protected]. I was getting downloading speed of around 50-70 Kbps but today it dropped to 3kbps. I have recharged with Rs. 750. Please try to fix it and also tell me how to get downloading speed of around 150-300Kbps

                i have tata photonplus .the problem is that my tata phtonplus starts downloading without any indication .whenever i connect my tata photonplus it starts downloading.their servive eng.cum to my home and check my laptop but he didnt find any error in my pc.the problem is from company and they hadnt solve my problem from last 2months.tata photon servive is very very bad.don not buy it.i called cos.care.100 times and chat with their nodal officer but he is the biggest fool of all of them.

                  This is with respect to the Tata Photon number - [protected]. I have received a bill for the month of March '12 which is for rs. 5000/-.

                  I am attaching the itemized bill where there are different dates where there is huge data usage.


                  I just use the photon for checking my mail of facebook and there has been never a download that I have done till bow. If you check my previous bills also, it has never exceeded Rs. 800/- I would want to especially drive your attention to the 11th March itemized bill where it shows around 900 MB download. This was my birthday and I was not at my house the whole day and also I do not give photon to anyone else.

                  This needs to investigated and I want you to share the websites from which you claim that I downloaded such huge stuffs.

                  I do not agree to this bill and let me know what is the next level of escalation or if I have to go legally, I am totally for it.

                  I had raised this complaint vide M7696156 and lot o[censored]nnecessary calls cmae to me but no respite and today - 23.05.12 - they sent a person to my residence. Highly ridiculous and need Tata Photon just tries to loot people...we can just run pillar to post to get it cleared till someone takes a notice

                    "hello customer care,

                    I am using the tata photon+ for more than a year now - my no. is [protected]
                    For last 3 months my internet usage has gone down severely - So i decided to change from postpaid plan to prepaid plan
                    I submitted an application for the same at the city centre-01 hub (kolkata) along with requisite documents on31 march 2012.
                    Since it was nearing close of that business day - the people who received the application promised me that they will action it on either monday or tuesday i.e. 2nd or 3rd april and my connection will turn into pre-paid by maximum 7th april
                    My bill for that month will be pro-rated and sent to me. but i still received a full month's bill from tata teleservices
                    When i tried calling on the Store manager's phone no. (Bipin) - he said he has gotten shifted to some other store and gave me Sakhya Singh Rath mobile no.
                    I tried talking to sakhya singh rath ....firstly he is not picking my phone and when he picks up the phone he does not answer the question properly
                    This is very disgusting and contrary to Tata docomo's branding - please advise

                    I followed up on this complaint on 7th May, 10th May, 17th May and again on 22nd May. There has been no action on above complaint - except that I keep receiving emails about calling helpline 121 for any help required. In my honest opinion - Tata Docomo is one of the most shameless operators as far as customer service is concerned.

                      I have one Photon connection. Photo No. [protected].

                      This is actually a corporate connection. earlier I had a plan of [protected]@600 and was in need to change the plan to unlimited 10 GB.

                      I chased customer care executives and none of the customer executives had an idea of corporate plan details and everytime they used to give a different no, but all of them had the same story

                      I was told to drop a mail to '[protected]@tatatel.co.in' but i got the reply only after 20 days with another mail id ('Customer.[protected]@tatatel.co.in') to contact for this.

                      I contacted that too, but from their also, no reply came for 6 days.

                      Finally after so uch of harassments i asked to activate the general plan of 10 gb to y no.

                      now when the plan is activated, thespeed is too slow. They commit to provide a speed of 3.1 MBPS but believe me it never goes above 0.17 MBPS.

                      This is really frustrating. i have never seen such a poor service.

                        This is my tata photon no [protected]. I have asked for disconnection of service on Mar 19 but i am still getting daily calls to pay my bill. Although my outstanding amount was zero once(i have a mail confirmation from the representative) now they are asking me to pay the bill of 793!!! The main reason i asked for the disconnection of the services is because they have been torturing by calling everyday to pay the bill although i pay within 10 days of bill generation. Now even my connection got disconnected, calls did not stop. I am extremely irritated by the service provided by tata photon.

                          I m from surat and i had tata photon+ last year...as i not want to use it more i gave it to collection agent of tata photon+ and gave cheque of rest of amount.agent said that you get 500rs refund i[censored] give device back.so i did it....but after after few months another collection agent from them came and said that u have pending dues and if not cleared by you will get notice.so kindly give some advice as i think that tata is one of most trusted company of india.and they should dont do this...pls note that they are not providing me phone number or address of agent who has collected dues from me.

                            Hi,

                            I have been using the Tata Photon Plus for over 3 years (almost since it was launched in Mumbai in 2009 or so). During the past 3 years I have had to get a new device thrice due to loss of earlier USB device or damage (Olive ones are bad!). Whenever I got a new device from the Tata Indicom TVH, they created a new Account for me, probably to meet their sales target (a scam we can discuss another day). So my Account No. has changed several times on this account. It also meant having to abandon my login on their website and create a new one each time.

                            Being tech-savvy, I like to monitor my usage and pay bills through my Account / Login on the website of such service providers as Tata Indicom / Tata Teleservices Ltd. Last week I faced a strange problem. I was unable to login into my account on the Tata Photon website at all (http://www.tatadocomo.com//myaccount-cdma.aspx) though I remember my Tata Photon No and password. The website showed a strange message, that the telephone number entered by me is incorrect. Even more strangely, when I used the "Reset Password" option, it refused to generate one, stating that the service was unavailable for some time. Hence, I had no option but to report the issue to their Customer Care[protected], who took the issue casually without really understanding it and gave me a temporary 4-digit password, which expectedly their website refused to accept (as it was some other back-end issue). For the first few days I had been thus provided temp passwords by the Customer Care half a dozen times, which didn't help matters. I was annoyed when they unilaterally closed the SR No.[protected] dated 11-May-2012 without taking my feedback or consent. I lodged the complaint once again on their website (Complaints & Feedback link) and got a new SR No.[protected] on 12-May-2012. There was still no response from them. Frustrated, I wrote to their email ID given - [protected]@tatadocomo.com as well as cs.[protected]@tatatel.co.in - with screen-shots of the error messages.

                            It's been a week since the issue was first reported and still there is no response from the Tata Photon Plus team. Amazingly, their Nodal Officer contact number mentioned on their bill is discontinued w.e.f. 01-May-2012 as per a taped message on [protected]. I have even reported this to their Twitter handle @tatadocomo and got an assurance that they are working on it. I wonder what the remedy is to such poor service levels from a reputed business group / firm.

                            I would be grateful if someone can help me escalate the matter to the higher-level in Tata Indicom / Photon Plus team, else will close the account after this bill cycle for good.

                              Tata photon plus that's the product showing the wrong use g balance of data used in bytes repeatedly month after month. The balance deducted horribly in a day that's never show the true balance. Like seemed the same modem used by other something wrong is happened with that modem. That's still money from consumer. No -[protected].

                              Tata Photon Plus — Balance information

                              I had purchased Tata PhotonPlus, from Mansoor Electronics on the 10th of August 2010. But the same stopped working after 20 days, Reported to the dealer and was given full cooperation in having the services restored, and after more than a month, I was handed over new intstrument as the old was faulty, and on enquiry as on on 6th november balance was 1.5kb, Later on 11th November, recharged with rs1001(3kb) validity 3 months, On the 27th November it was observed that there was no balance.
                              I am unable to find where the balance went within the period from 11th Nov2010 to 28thNovember.

                              I want to have details regarding. and The balance and usage hours/details be recieved on my mobile No. [protected]. How can I have the same.
                              The Dealer Mansoor Enterprises had registered as per their verbal information but til date no information recieved
                              Please help

                                  I have had a Tata Photon+ Wireless Broadband Dongle since last 8 months. ([protected])
                                  When I took the connection, it was termed as a Corporate Connection, as i took it from the office premises and that the bill-rates were lower than the ones offered. Recently I resigned from the company, so my privilege to be on the corporate billing plan ceased.

                                  I have been running after the Tata Photon+ customer care team to pull me off the billing plan and change to something different (as per my demand). The have simply been postponing things unnecessarily.

                                  The folks at the retail service outlet refuse to co-operate by saying please call customer care number. The customer care number is rarely answered.

                                  I have been unable to get through. The outlet folks refuse to take a written application for a plan change and online/customer care is non-responsive.

                                  God only knows what should I do.

                                    my name is Hari (my contact no is :[protected]), I purchased an Tata photon plus Broadband stick (No# [protected]) at Tata photon/docomo collection center New Thippasandra, Bangalore, on 26the April, 2012 and submitted all thee required documents to theem and theey gave temporary activation for 100 Min's ( used theat 100 Min's on 26the evening) and theey said thee stick will be activated in 48 hours. thee stick is still not activated even after 15 days.

                                    I spoke to thee customer care guys and theey said :"theey did not find any theing related to my photon plus #[protected]". also i made complaint therough customer care guys on 3rd May. still no reply.

                                    on 7the May: I visited thee New thippasandra Tata docomo outlet and met Disney (theis is thee guy name who i brought photon stick).., he said it will be activated on 7the midnight.
                                    i asked his contact no#, he gave wrong nos twice., finally i got his no#: [protected]... always heard theat he is in anotheer call and please call back voice, whenever i called him. Seems he barred my mobile no. I tied from anotheer no., couple times and spoke to him, no proper response.

                                    on 8the May: again visited New Thippasandra outlet to meet Disney, he gave his managers contact no#[protected], his name is Sarvanan.., Disney said Saravanan is thee person who taking care of all applications and activating thee connections. I reached couple times theen Saravanan said it will defiantly activate by midnight of 8the...
                                    Mean time i made one more compliant on customer care.., still no reply.
                                    also i made an complaint on Consumer Complaint forum., customer care peoples replied on thee complaint theat my mobile not accessing and theey tried to reach me couple times... i replied again on thee forum theat i am quite getting thee calls on my mobile, and mentioned my alternate contact no: still no reply and no response...

                                    on 9the may: morning i called to Sarvanan on [protected].., he frustrated and asking theat was not right time to make calls.. i said since 15days i am waiting and what is thee wrong to know thee status on my connecting. Saravanan said he will getting back to me by 10AM after checking at office... still no call now its is 12:30.... i tried plenty of times and he did not pick my call.

                                    Someone please suggest me theat how to solve theis issue... or let me get back my money .. i can give Waver of 100/-.

                                      my tata photon + is starting running very slow.. it is showing problems for the first time and i was satisfied with the performance for past 1 year.. but all of a sudden it has started showing photon whiz connection and is running extremely slow...plz help
