I have received the Tata Photon Datacard in 2010 along with laptop accessory in an offer. The agent activated in my laptop with free package and he informed that it will be deactivated after 30min usage. Actually i didn't activate and use any plan by that device. But i received a legal notice from [email protected] that the due of the plan. I have given a complaint that as i didn't use the device/ active ,, how it is possible...AND
Why they come up with legal notice after one year...So they have taken the complaint positively and finalised., I have taken written document that
they have been with drawn legal notice and also informed that there would not get such complaints. But now i am getting same complaint by phone

So i have decided to return the device and never want to use in future also

Request you to not to arise such wrong bills without using the data card For every one

    sir, i have photon no [protected] iam using this connection since more than 02 years, previously this connection was postpaid more but one year back i converted this connection to prepaid now recently i reacharged this connection and i was using since 3 days after that my connection is blocket without any reason , even without infroming me , then i call up 4 -5 times to customer care but every time i called they just reply that it is block due to some fault and it will restore after 03 hours , since two days iam listeing this but till time it is not fuctioning , then i visited to reliance outlet residency road jammu , but without giving me any positive feedback i have been told that do whatever you want to do and it will not restore and also submit document again ,

    this was very bad response i got from tata outlet ,. please sir i request you to kindly take a legal and strong action so that they ll not do this again to another customer .

    Tata Docomo — Service is blocked

    Tata Docomo service is too bad ,
    My mobile service both incoming and out coming calling is blocked
    and informed me that my identity proof is not complete
    but i ready given my identity proof so many times
    I am using this number more than three year (when i brought it was tata indicom 2008)
    also there customer care service is too bad
    They don't want customer satisfaction but they want only money
    cheating customer like me

    Dear Sir,

    I am using tata docomo prepaid connection([protected]) since last 20 months. This number was registered for all my banking transactions. Now this service got stopped without any intimation. I inquired at a tata outlet. They are saying it was registered with some other person name. I purchesd the SIM in one shop. I produced all supported document. The sim has the balance of Rs.500/-.

    How can I get my money and connection back. Please help me in this.

      Dear sir,

      1. Reference is made to my email request on the above subject matter since 21/09/2012 and
      Corresponding customer care replies (Enclosed below this mail).

      2. It is once again intimated that i have initially opted tataphoton post paid service
      Having tata photon number [protected] in july 2011 under photon plus 1 gb/rs 650 plan.
      Since post paid plan has been changed as per tatadoco notification given to trai on
      30/06/2012 that "postpaid tariff plans are rs. 250 for 1gb (Which earlier was priced at rs.
      650) and rs.450 for 2gb (Which earlier cost rs. 750). Applicable date : 01/07/2012 onwards�

      However tata photon is charging me still rs 650+taxes+late payment charges
      For 1gb/month aginst photon plus 1 [protected]@rs 650 since july 2012 to till date.

      3. When i have raised the request for the above anomaly to tatphoton. Customer service replied
      That� i regret to inform you that we are unable process your request of plan change effective
      From 3rd july as there is no automated bill change policy until and unless there is a request
      From customer side to change his/her bill plan hence your bill change is not changed from
      [protected]@650/- to updated one.�

      Now here doubt arises???

      It is intimated that tataphoton has state of start of technology for the billing/plan
      Change/bill metering and automated communication system.

      Tata photon has never sent mail /post to post paid customer including me, for the reduction
      In bill rated since 3 july 2012. I have also not received any mails/phone call for the
      Reduction of plan.
      When plan has been changed by the tata photon for the benefit for the existing and new
      User, then responsibility lies on tataphoton for change the bill plan accorginly but tataphoton
      Has intentionally not done. And tata photon is still charging old rate for all the post paid
      Customer natinalwide.
      Here doubt arises for scam national that although old plans (Rs650/1gb & rs 750/2gb) is not
      Existing in the database for tataphoton and still tataphoton charging higher old rate allover
      India where customer is ignorant or unaware or nor requested. However 60%2g rate has been
      Fallen down by tata himself.

      Hence tataphon intentinaly not passing this benefit to the customer and enjoying higher
      Revenue nationalwide.

      4. Hence it is requested that

      (I) compensate the extra amount charged from 01 july to till date first intentionally. Customer has already paid the higher charger however charge was already fallen down from rs
      650 to rs 250/ gb from the month of july, august& september 2012 bills. Kindly pass the all
      Benfit from 1st july 2012 to me immediately or compensate for the same.

      (Ii) then only, change my plan for 01 gb.
      (Iii) why should not tataphoton to be charged for penalty against excess charges for all his
      Post paid 2g/3g customer national wide???
      (Iv) why this is not a case of cheating for all his national post paid 2g/3g customer???.
      (V) where fair policy of tatadoco gone in this??? Where there is profit, tata keep mum.
      (Vi) why should not i close this connection???
      (Vii) why tata not passing the benefit to customer automatically as other operator has done?
      (Viii) why this matter is not to be reported to trai immediately??

      This is a official letter.In case of arbitration for non payment of extra charges, this letter
      Will be submitted as proff.

      Kindly do the through investigation, then reply. Please donot reply just for the sake of
      Reply.

        I have a tata photon plus device and i am very unsatisfied with this service. It barely connect with the network. And whenever it get connect, the internet does not work. It is shame from them that they call this a broadband service but the fact is, its like a slowest network in the world. I frequently recharge this device due my work. But my all the recharged data go in vain due unavailability of network and internet speed. Now tell what to do with this.

        whomever it is concerned i am very sorry to say that i have never see such a WORST Service as TATA photon plus. its been 10 days i raised a request and the request number is[protected]. but till now i hav'nt recieved a single response from your side. After me calling continuously your executives come up saying they will send the executive after 2 hr, 3 hr and its been 10 days. Also truely speaking my photo plus is not working from 1 month and without usage i got the bill for this month along with payment due how funny!!. Its truely on my word my company started using this service and im planning to switch to other network. also i will make sure that i will raise this issue with Consumer forum.

        TATA PHOTON PLUS LOOTING CUSTOMERS

        I bought tata photon plus from chandigarh on 29.07.2010 I was told by the customer care that I would be given 200 Rs discount for 12 months on purchase of tata photon plus on my postpaid bill but when I purchased I was told that this offer is not applicable in chandigarh. Had I been told that before buying I would not have purchased tata photon connection.
        Not only that when I got my second month bill i.e of September my bill was inflated by 384 Rs under the name HSIA usage charge, my bill was supposed to be 950 as I have opted for 5gb plan for Rs 950 and I have used only 3 gb but I was charged 1474 Rs . I cant understand why they are looting customers. When I analyzed my bill I found that my 1st bill was also inflated by 200 Rs, again in the name of HSIA usage name, when I called up the customer care the response was also not very positive I was supposed to get the refund of total 384+200 = 584 but was given only 500 Rs refund that too after calling them thrice and explaining them the tedious details of the bill .I was told by the customer care representative that it is not under his control to refund more than 500 Rs Have I not looked upon my 2nd bill they would continue charging and inflating my bill . I feel that there are many such innocent customers who are already in trap and are not aware of over billing .This post is to AWARE the TATA PHOTON PLUS customers to get aware of the over billing and fraud ness of tata photon billing and business strategy to loot INDIANS.

        Tata Photon Plus — Worst network and worst service

        Dear Sir,

        I have purchased a Tata Photon Plus device on 3rd Sep 2010. Tata Photon Plus claims that this device has the speed up to 3.1 mbps but I did not get speed beyond 10kbps - 20kbps. Also customer care of tata frustrates the consumers a lot. We have to keep waiting for 10-20 mins just to get the call picked up on customer care.

        The issue has not been resolved yet and Tata customer care says it will take 3-4 months to resolve this issue. You people say can you go with this tired, slow and poor service.

        The service has really made me into a deep stress and frustration as I have suffer with a lot of loss of time/work and money just due to Tata Teleservices Ltd. Do you also know Tata teleservices made many consumers of our great India in deep stress and frustration just because of its worst service in India.

        tataphoton plus — worst service

        hello readers
        before i write my compliant to you , i sincerely advice never think in dream to buy tata photon plus. worst is connectivity and sevices . their call centers and the Apex help desk team headed by Mrs sugna shetty is another wonders of the world . she is not less than a worst PM of some country . she is not bothered listening the customers problem . after i lost the patience in one year , t requested them to terminate the services and refund the cost of the device which is around Rs 3000/ they shamelessly say that they do not refund even if the termination of the services are for not providing the services from their end . one can imagine the extent of DADAGIRI by them.
        with above . i request the regulatory authority to intervene in the matter to protect the interest of Innocent consumers . my broad band photon card no was [protected] . after 4 months of the complaint one Mrs savita working undr Mrs saguna shetty says they do not have any plan in hand to improve the signal strength and the connectivity. earlier the same lady was begging for time to install a new plant in one month time in succession . bu tall lies

        Tata Photo plus sucks. I bought a tata photon plus 5 months back in univercel, The guys says that you will get up 1mps speed around the city area where I located but when I check it is around 10kbps to 256kbps max.When I call customer service they say 256kpbs if you are getting you don't have any problem and they say that it is mentioned the website and when I say why do I purchase if I'm getting 256kbps they say it is left to you. we never promised you will get this speed or that speed. Even they say they that can't rise any complaint on speed issues i should visit nearest service center if i want to get speed. Customer service representative lack of product knowledge, one is even try to call my tataphoton number and say you are not reachable. They are least bothered about customer complaints and they never get back to you with any resolution but they will start defending that, we never promised and you are getting what is the website. They never look into the problem and they will give a call to me and say you complaint is resolved when I asked what was my complaint they say give me a min. when I talk to team lead or floor supervisor he even don't know what was my complaint and he picks the call and had some script to say to me.
        Each CSR I spoke they have different views on speed and not sure where to raise the complaint or not, some even gave me fake information saying that our engg will come and check and fix it but no one till now turned up. I raised the complaint regarding this on website and also by sending email till now no response given and they are least bothered about it. What type of customer service is this cheating customer with fake information.

        Finally, I decide that I spent lot of money and lets stop this service.

        The above number[protected] is not reachable always I get number is busy and the email clearly says that is they are least bothered to paste the script.

        BSNL service is best compare to this at-least they tried they best to solve the problem and they value customers.

        don't ever go for tataphoton plus. They are miserable and pathetic.

          I had purchased a micromax funbook on sep 01 st 2012 for intenet connectivity only Tata Photon is compatible with the device , I had purchased a Photon device for 1000 Rupees and it is almost a month and i am never getting signal in chennai ,and even if get conectivity it is very slow , It takes me atleast a minute to download 1 MB , I called and spoke to their customer care which was an horrible experiance by itself every time they say i will get a call within 24 hours but no one seems to be responding to the calls and never does a manager pick up thephone and speak and they place you on hold for more than 45 Mins ,

          I would like it to bring it to your notice that service or customer support after sales of this product is very bad, When i Inisisted in speaking to thier manager they terminated my service stating ID was not submitted the vendor nor the customer care could explain as to what was the problem with the ID proof that i submitted , and my service was terminated for an entire week , and after i provided the documents again there is no signal , I called them and reaised a complaint and no response from theier end now i notice that they have totally disconnected my service ,

          Please look into this matter and help me get a refund from them for the product ,


          I have no problem if the device is working fine , But they are just not bothered they are happy as i bought the product but they dont want to give me proper service

          My name is Harishankar. v.I am using tata photon plus prepaid for last 6 months.I used to do unlimited plans and last time i did a limited plan two weeks ago, which assured to give me 3.2 mbps speed of internet. Now my device is showing photon plus network (which is the faster connection)but when i am trying to connect to internet it will get connected into photon whiz connection(slower connection). i compliant to the customer service center but they make me call them for many times .When ever i am calling they are telling me to wait and they ll contact me .After 2 days i got a call, and they advice me to go to a service center, they gave me vague address of their service centers. but i somehow managed to reach there and got very bad responses from the service centers none of them have technicians to attend and they are keep on telling me to come another day.

            Hello Tata Photon,
            I am a recent user of the Tata photon + service. My recharge number for the device is [protected]. I have been having problems on accessing to the internet. Whenever I start the process of connecting to the device it either states the remote computer did not respond or the process was terminated by the remote computer before it could be completed.

              i purchased a postpaid tata docomo photon plus modem on 18th sep 2012 and till date my conection has not been activated.i called up tata docomo outlet in channi himmat, jammu.they told me that they gave me wrong modem by mistake and to collect right one from their outlet.i am a govt employee and my hometown is far away from jammu so i dont have much time to go to their outlet and collect right modem.the place where i am located i.e KATHUA, there is also tata docomo photon outlet.I requested them that can i collect or replace my modem from nearest outlet in kathua.they refused to provide me that facility.i already paid the activation charges to them and all the documents required.so this is my humble request to you to do some necessary action against them.

                i am sorry to come here and write, but tata has really drawn me so far,first thing they have shameless rules and the funniest is their staff says the customers they they follow rules stringently.

                you know what tata, get some shame and stop sucking the blood of middle class, in the name of internet, by giving no service and still sending bills.

                for which 100 of your executives calls the person day in and day out.

                get some sense tata...i am confident, even you won't pay a single rupee if you don't get anything in return.

                this is what tata is disgusting and awful.

                change your rules and teach your staff some ethics, if at all you have any.

                this a challenge to each member of tata family.

                if you have guts, get some good name.

                you cheat people and take money, in the name of business, you will also pay for that big time.

                sick you are tata family.

                  Dear Sir,
                  I have made request to disconnect TATA Photon services on 21st March 2012 and paid the last bill by April 2012. But they have sent the bill again on May 2012 stating that my connection not disconnceted and in the process of disconnection!!. I have tried their customer care number mentioned in the bill for a week later i came to know that mentioned number is wrong!!.
                  01. Customer care number itself wrong means just imagine their customer care
                  02. Customer requested for disconnect the services, not disconnected till July 2012
                  03. Rude handling by customer care staff, talking singularly

                  So kindly take this injustice to the customer and protect such attracities should not happend to any other indian citizens. Thanks

                    i was using photon plus dongal for the last 1 year and i never faced speed problems.....on 17 sep 2012 i converted plan from prepaid to postpaid and recharched it for rs. 750 unlimited plan.according to the plan i was abt to get 5 gb with the speed 3.1 Mbps and then rest of month with 153.6Kbps....it has been 4 days since the recharge..i havent got any balance ....nor m getting any kind of speed and my network name below the signal is showing as tata photon whiz instead of tata photon plus...when i try to contact customer care no one answers the call rather they put me on a hold tune...help me..

                        It has been 25 days since I purchased the photon plus bundle pack and still not activated. After my previous complain I was given a new num [protected] (original - [protected]) which was activated and worked for 1 day and again stopped working. When I called customer care, I was told I havnt paid the bill of Rs.900.
                        My connection is new and it is applicable for 6months unlimited. I called back the respective Docomo outlet(Visakapatnam - Dwaraka lane1) only to recive assurances(since past 5 days) yet nothing is done.
                        The worse part they do not even pick up my call now. The concerned outlet is in Viskhapatnam Dwarkanagar lane1,
                        My patience is being tested to the max. I am in Bhopal now so could not go directly to shop.
                        I dont understand, why I am being harassed for these many days after paying my bill, submitting documents twice(because of stupid service done in the outlet).
                        Please, tell me what should I do. Do I need to forget that I paid the money?.
                        I guess they are selling customer harassment in TATA Docomo shops, wrongly spelt as TATA photon plus and I am the latest victim.

                            This is to inform you that I am feeling regretted by purchasing Tata Photon+ device. I have bought it on 31-Aug-12 from outlet(Settled in Infosys PUNE phase II). But today is 10-Sep-12, and it is not activated yet. Daily they are making fool by saying "it would be activated by today" but now its height. People has stopped responding from last 3 days. Made 100+ calls to them, the guy in office not responding, his manager is not responding. I have bought plan 1537 device + cover plan for 2 months and then normal rental. But days are passing, I am willing to drop it now or provide some proper respond. Also, manage the usage of 10 days. Its really shamefull. Manager's no. is - [protected]. Take an action soon. Ideally it should be activated by 4-Sep-12, but today is 10-Sep. Why should I pay extra for no reason. Its ridiculous.

                              I am a student of Kirorimal Mal College, DU and I had bought a photon + postpaid connection 1 year back. Presently I sent my device to my home town Bokaro Stell City, Jharkhand where my brother was supposed to use it.My photon no. [protected] and a/c no.[protected]new) [protected]old) with 950 5 GB unlimited plan but my brother told me to get an economical plan so I thought to convert it to prepaid with 250 1GB plan so I applied for the same On 21 august 2012.But the same day in evening I received a call from photon team , they said that postpaidis better than prepaid and the same 250 1 GB plan is also there in postpaid.So I said him not to change tp prepaid but later on I came to know that it was migrated to prepaid. So I talked to customer care regarding this but they said me to apply for postpaid. So I went to the indicom office at lajpat nagar and I gave them my documents but I didn't have an delhi's address proof so I said that I am a college student and I dont have my house in delhi so they said we accept ID cards of JNU and Delhi University when I presented them the ID card they said we can't accept it and said me to present the rent agreement I didn't have it so they charged Rs.200 for it when asked for the bill they didn't give it to me and ignored it so I applied for conversion on the same day 23th Aug. 2012. They said me to come after 2 days and said me to collect the rent agreement and the conversion will be processed by that time.I went there on 25th or 26th and they said that it is not done. then I waited a lot and everyday I called the Photon customer care to know the status they said that there is no such request regarding migration to postpaid.I registered a complaint with them request no.[protected].So I finally decided to visit once again on 1st september I was shocked to know that I was not done yet.So I talked to the sales representative Zeeenat to whom I had applied earlier.She said that there is some back hand fault.When I asked for the rent agreement she said that we have attached it with your other documents and we can't give it to you.So I got really angry then in place of her Mr. Bipin came and dealt with me.They had given me their contact number but none of them responded when I called them.He said due to lot of rush in the office we don't pick the phone.I reched the office at 2:30p.m and waited for more than an hour for the procedure and I left in the half way because I had Income Tax tutions at hudson lanes at 3:00 to 4:30 p.m but still I missed my tutions.In the morning I got a call of Mr. bipin telling me how to activate the device and At that time I was in college so I came home and called my brother to do the same activation was successful but due to some problem there was connection failure so I called him back but he said there would be some minor problem.so I called customer care and gave a complaint reference number[protected].finally every thing was resolved but the net was slow.
                              So I suffered a lot due to this and I had to run from G.T.B Nagar to Lajpat Nagar missing my tutions wasting money, efforts, energy, time.So a filea case under mental agony and harassment.
                              I request youto kindly help me as this I my first approachto the consumer forum.

                              Tata Photon Plus — pathetic service

                              hi Guys,

                              i have never imagined company of TATA stature will give such a pathetic service to the customer. my connection was disconnected without even informing me which caused major damage to my work.

                              and the sales agency who sold the connection is least bothered.
                              tried calling customer care no response.......helpless.
                              because i have already paid the money for the device.
                              I bought this Tata photon Plus of 3.1 Mbps and they said its a new model/type/updated version. So, I was really happy and proud to have bought one. BUT that happiness last only for 10-15 minutes journey ( From Center where I bought to my home). when I connect it to my PC with windows 7 it shows the speed 10 Bits. WOW incredible. After calling C/Care and making some changes in the system I got about 15Kbps. I call the C/Care again 2-3 times I all the time I got to listen to this Beautiful voice of their machine. Till today there is no improvement. may be its better to spend some fare and fill a form in consumer court.. I'm thinking

                              So my advice to people out there who plan to buy THE Tata Photon Plus 3.1 Mbps, go for it. Be happy for half or one hour. after all happyness matters..

                                Unable to install the application on MAC

                                Logged a complaint on tata photon website, got the respose from their executive
                                asking for snapshot, which I am unable to provide, as I have issue in print screen, for which support person said, they cant help..... Infact have explained the crash report..., but without snapshot they cant help at all.....

                                CRAZY.....and soo insensible....

                                Am unable to use internet at home, but they cant help!!!!!

                                If we delay the pay by a day also there is penalty, but no discount due to their problems....

                                MAILED information:

                                Have complained long time before regarding the issue, for which no action was taken but complaint was moved to resolve without actually resolving.
                                Hence I have called/mentioned in the complaint to close the account, no longer interested (that too when demanded for money for which no service is given).

                                And on top of this do you expect for me to wait till the issue gets resolved, so as to be so called "VALUED CUSTOMER"???

                                Everything is insensible.

                                I was using this device for such a long time, have never missed payments, but the response to my complaint is ridiculous...
                                ONE TOUCH device is delivered, but for disconnection, you harrase people/customers, its really intolerable.

                                I DONT NOT WANT MAILS/CALLS/MESSAGES FROM YOU.
                                Paid the amount 1581 Rs, due to harassment/irritation from Photon+

                                If at all you have considered customers valued, stop doing this nonsense. This money is taken from me without providing service, to avoid more problems from Tata Photon, am paying this. This is the money which has to refunded, I paid to stop IRRITATION. NOT WORTH GETTING IRRITATED TO IDIOTIC, INSENSIBLE things!

                                I will never ever be tata customer in life time.
                                I do not want any more mails/calls FROM YOU. Being your CUSTOMER IS DISASTROUS
                                Same situation, the flow which is becoming worst and worst.
                                Even speedtest do not catch anymore signal...
                                Answer from customer service or even ingeneers coming at home is just a big joke trying to let you think that some action are taken...
                                at the end it is just a totally saturated system in which Tata continue to sell this service when there is no more place for a long long time.
                                Shame on them !

                                      I had applied for a tata photon plus postpaid connection with a 950 plan. I was said i would get 3.1 Mbps for first 6 gb and 155 kbps beyond 6gb. When i started using it, the speed was no where close to the range promised. And worst thing is after my download limit exceeded, i am getting a speed of less than 10 kbps almost throughout. I know it is not possible for me to get a speed of close to 100 kbps but what i expected was atleast a consistent speed of 30kbps.

                                      I had already raised two complaints and provided with screenshots. One of the times they had autoclosed the case saying, the resolution will be ready by september 1st at maximum.. But it has not improved even one bit.. Worse i am getting download speeds of close to 1 or 2 kbps. My airtel 2G connection delivers better speed than that. When i got a call from the customer care executive, he says i cant get speed and i have to put an extra booster pack to get good speed. The company isnt even providing .1 times the speed which they had promised and they dont care about the complaint that is being lodged.

                                        i did an online recharge of my tata photon plus netcard. The amount of rs1000 has been deducted from union bank debit card but the recharge has not been succesful. The customercare executive toka me to wait for 2 hrs but it is still not succesfull.
