I am Rajib Saha live in Jamshedpur. My set top box is damaged after using 7-8 months within 1 year warranty period. That mean my Tatasky settyop box is under warranty. I lodge a complain. Please note down my WO No: I3XFE2S. As per company norms this set top box has to be replaced.TataSky came to replace but with a old (older the age than my existing one). More importantly, how many times it was damaged & repaired was not mentioned or provided to me. In this situation I have not accepted the settop box. I asked Tatasky provide either new settop box or set top box having similar age to my set top box or take back my damaged set top box & give me back after repair. Unfortunately, they are not doing anything. Again and again they are forcing me to receive the old repaired settop box which is quite older than my current one. Without solving the problem TataSky intentionally deducting the charge from my existing paid balance . They are simply cheating me. Making foolish and forcing to accept whatever they want. They kept the system in such a manner that no customer will be able to reach to their executives directly and explain the problem for better solution. What I am feeling is that I have to accept what ever they will do. Therefore, I am putting the fact in your website with the aim to get justice. Thank you very much

    My Tata Sky Id is [protected] registered with the name of Mr. Sajjan KumarSharma. Tata sky people has activated an unwanted pack i.e. active vedic maths for three months in my account. Their customer care excutive has told me that they called us on our phone about the the pack and we have told him to activate this pack. Now this pack cannot be dropped for three months and charges will get deducted every month. But we have not give any confirmation to activate this pack. Since tata sky records every call for quality control, either they give the proof that we have said yes to activate this pack other wise drop this pack with immediate effect. The people are making unnecessary nonsense to earn money by wrong means. please take necessary actions also so that these people can learn some lesson.

      I have been told by the Tatasky sales rep that i could simply switch to HD Mega Pack (South) by recharging the account with about Rs 7910/-. I asked him specifically if the set top box that i already have would work, he mentioned that is not an issue and that as soon as i recharge with the above amount i will be able to see the HD channels (as part of the annual HD mega pack - south). I recharged my subscriber account [protected] immediately to make my total balance amount more than Rs 7900/-. I also got the SMS message that my mega-pack-HD (south) subscription is activated. But, i am not able to watch the HD channels as the message says that I need to upgrade the set top box also. When I called the customer service helpdesk, they are now saying that I do need to upgrade my set top box and that it costs something like Rs 990/- for a standard one and Rs 5990/- if I want the recording feature. I should have been told earlier that i need to spend additional money for getting the upgraded set top box as well. This is unfair in my view.Also, the customer service rep asked me to stay on the line and finally disconnected the call. I think my call is recorded. all the conversation details must be stored I guess for audit purposes. I would like to formally complaint for (a) misleading sales information and (b) for being rude enough to disconnect the call after keeping me waited on the call for some time.

          Few days back I received an SMS from Tata Sky to update its customer care nos. to [protected], [protected] & [protected] without any mention to the applicable call rates to the seemingly tollfree nos. On 24 May 15, I made an attempt to speak to too busy Tata Sky customer care at [protected] that went in vein. I had to keep waiting for 5 mins 42 secs during which I was periodically informed by the IVRS to hold for a never ending 3 mins waiting time. After getting sufficiently irritated, I decided to end the call only to discover that I was charged Rs 42 for that duration. My concern is that as a customer of MTNL and Tata Sky for years, how on the earth do I come to know about the abnormally high applicable call rates on the seemingly tollfree no. Moreover I received an SMS from Tata Sky to call on the said number without any statutory warning of the call rates if any.

            Dear Sir, I like to report that, I am using Tata sky for last 5yrs. one with RMN-[protected], and one with RMN-[protected], now I never had any problem with tata sky ever till this month, i called tatasky on 14th of may 2015, while I was charging my set top box for a month, as i was doing this for more two years with set top box for RMN [protected], I was being charged for rupees 359/- every month for last eight months and didn't notice why it was, I thought maybe to earn bonus of rs.15/- TATAsky has upped the limit, but when I call tata sky to confirm about a plan for one year and confirm about why I was being charged every month for rs.359/-, to my surprise I was told that you have Active cooking channel activated on your box since 2nd september 2014, I told them I never activated anything and confirm the same from my wife as well she said no to it, the person said it cannot be activated till I GIVE MY consent, which I never did, so I asked them to give me a copy of my consent or refund the amount, that person put my call on hold for 18 minutes, it was so rude i felt humiliated, I had to disconnect the call and call back again, and this time i asked for a senior person, i was connected and was told you will get a reply up till 17th may 2015, nobody called, so i called again on 19th may 2015, same reply you will get a call from concerning department, no reply, then i called again, and then I was told i will get a call the same day, did not happen, but the next day I got a called from tata sky, but person was in too much hurry, all he said was it was done from your side so no refund will happen if you want to see tatasky you need to recharge in a very rude manner, i asked him copy of the audio, to it he said can't give you copy of audio will give a description of talk, and it happened with your wife, I requested again you have to give me audio copy if I or my wife have given you the consent, I will not accept a written description, as your company keeps a record for the calls made to you, on this the phone was disconnected very rudely and no call have came afterwards, though I did receive a mail which is as follows:- Service Request No: 1-[protected] Hello Mr. Kumar, We regret to inform that we will not be able to process your credit request for Active Cooking Package since it was added in your account after taking proper consent on call. Hence charges are applicable and will not be refunded. It is always a good time to know your account balance. Your account balance is Rs. 5.11 available as on 22/05/2015 and account is inactive. Thanks! Vaibhav S. Tata Sky Customer Care tatasky.com / [protected]@tatasky.com and till now I have not receive any audio proof for the same and told to recharge, for your information in market if I go for a cable connection they charge only 250/- per month and give more channels then you do, and they are there at the doorstep at one call, and listen to us without charging for the visit, that is called service, and tata sky promptly go out and say we our best in customer service you will see all the ads coming on tv channels and tatasky channels, if this the service you provide then I am sorry to say your service has no standard, its pathetic, miserable, you guys need to do more, and I am there with you for so long and want to end this on a bad note, so I request you to again look into the matter, and refund the amount or give the proof that either me or my wife has given call to do so.. before i escalate the matter further to higher officials in tatasky and consumer forum. waiting for your response.               It is highly unfortunate being a member of the family called TATA SKY. In this regard it is to inform that on 09.05.2015my connection was relocated to a new house at 79 B Binova Bhave Road. Kolkata -700038 with my subscription ID as [protected] in the name of Debabarata Chanda, the complainant having registered mobile no.[protected].i hold a multi-tv connection, On 09.05.2015 at the time of installation the representative of TATA SKY who installed the dish in my new house is well aware of the fact that he had installed one TV connection and the other connection is dormant as the other set top box has not been yet relocated to my new house.He has given me a cable of approx length 15 mts for my new tv connection when that will be installed. the deduction amounts to Rs 300( for relocation) and Rs. 100( for the cable ) as told by your representative. But the deduction shows Rs 425( Best known to the Co.) based on the details of provided by your company representative (who is speaking the truth only) and the customers of yours are liar as per your customer care version.. But the pathetic situation comes now, On 09.05.2015 just after the relocation i have called your customer care and talked with person sitting behind the phone who after hearing the detail advised me recharge with Rs.655 for one TV connection as that had been installed and the other set top box and TV is dormant till this date( 23.05.2015) and Rs 300 for relocation and accordingly Rs.955/- was recharged at that time. please hear the voice recording available with you, and if not is available with me as all your call is recorded on my phone. Also message has been displayed on my TV and phone that the next recharge date is 07.06.2015. It was also informed that one TV payment will be deducted only and other TV as not Connected will be temporarily disconnected till i place a request to start the service. To my utter dismay the game from your end started. 2 days later a message came on my phone and on TV that 425 deducted for the relocation and cable charges and everyday instead of one Tv deduction there is a deduction of 02 TV, which is in operative at this time.. I called your customer care and somebody said on hearing my details that your complaint is registered and it will be resolved, ( Pl hear the conversation, if not available I can provide you the came). Till date 11 times i have called the customer care to no effect only with verbal assurance from CUSTOMER CARE AND SENIOR REPRESENTATIVES of the Company but my connection was disconnected on 23.05.2015 with the calculation of daily deduction of 02 Tv, although it has been assured that the disconnection will not take place lastly assured yesterday, but in vain as the company representatives are making false assurance to the customers cheating them..I again recharged with an amount of Rs.655/- based on 01 tv connection. All the conversation is recorded and if my money as per your assurance is not refunded in my account within 02 working days i will be compelled to move to suitable platform to seek justice.                 Dear Sir, My tatasky connection was installed on 26th april 2014, then technician by name Chandu has fitted the signal in a convenient place to him not to me, I asked him to fit in another location he said he has another calls and need to meet his girlfriend it seems to fit it according to his convenience and went. Today one of my neighbour has taken new connection so I asked the technician to move the signal device to the same location as he is doing for the new connection, so he (technician Anjaneyulu) said it costs Rs.250 What all nonsense is happening with tatasky, I asked technician Chandu who fit my connection did not listen to me, so how can I be responsible for it and pay the service charge for moving my signal device to preferred location. I asked the technician Anjaneyulu who came to fit the new connection about Chandu he said he quit the job, why tatasky is taking such employees who don't care for the customers.

                  Dear Sir/Madam I tina nanda having a Tata sky DTH connection no [protected] for past 3-4 years. I regret to say that service provided by tata sky is pathetic and customer care executives are very rude and non cooperative. It is not working from last 5 days and no one is bothered to rectify it.Everytime we have given a time that visit will happen and till date no one has come to our place. Your customer care executive abhi and ranjeet are non cooperative and rude. I have made many attempts to convince them to get the complaint registered ( i also told to cancel the connection). today when no body came i again enquired about this nto your customer care, now Mr chanderkant told me that till date there is no complaint is registered. why should i bear the amount without using the services?? hence with this kind of service i wanted to disconnect the services and provide the refund. This was the mail I sent to Tata Sky on 21st may and till now no one has contacted me. Regards TINA NANDA [protected]

                  My settop box was getting rebooted. I raised a complaint. Service guy came and he did a software update. but still the problem continued. When i raised the issue once again the same guy came and changed the set top box and he changed a connector and charged Rs100 for connector. After he went with in 10 minutes I called him and informed him that the problem persists even after changing settop box and connector. They have deducted Rs350 for settop box swap and Rs170 for service although the problem is not resolved. I don't want your new settop box as my problem is not solved and I want refund of both charges.
                  TATAS ARE BIG CHEATERS AND LIERS . THEY DONT KEEP UP THEIR WORDS. THEY ARE NOT WORTH TRUSTING

                    Hi All, From Tata sky, there is a deduction of INR 170 for some complaint which we have not raised. I received a call few days back for confirming about one complaint. I have mentioned that from our side we have not raised any complaint. After that no one visited at our home and now found that INR 170 deducted from my account. Just called tata sky representative, again the worst service here : 1. First attendant was unable to provide the satisfactory answer and after that i told him to transfer the call to any senior person. As usual he provide me lots of explanation and trying to not transfer the call to senior member. 2. After lot of request he transferred my call to some senior person name as Govind, he agrees that some other person (Tushar) raised the request with different Subscriber ID and by mistake they charged me. But as per him as well this is not a genuine issue and there was no need to transfer the call to him. Also Govind mentioned that its a normal human error. Not sure how much such human errors tata sky do and charge another customer. 3. Also every time we call customer service we receive the complaint id on our registered phone number. Now Govind mention that for this issue he is not sure that i will recieve the complaint number because of n number of reason like server issue. 4. why tata sky can take the complaint from any number. The complaint should be accepted from only registered number. How come such a big organization can do such type of mistake. Now my complaint id is 1-[protected]. Please revert my amount till 26th which Govind mentioned to me since the mistake is from your side. My number is [protected] if anything needs to discuss. Arun Singh

                      Hi, this is regarding the refund amount, on 20th May i recharged my Tata sky DTH by 3900 rs. . But when i checked my account balance it was not showing. So i called the customer care and they told me the Subscription id which is showing on the TV was wrong and that's why the recharged done in some other account. i told them that was not my fault, i want my money back or you will just transfer my money to my account. within half an hour only they change my subscription id which was reflecting on my TV. and they told me i have to contact that person which number is recharged . This was not my fault but only for the sake of money i called this guy name John and he told me he was not using the Tata sky DTH and disconnected my call. i am taking follow up reguallary rearding my refund amount but no one listining on the cuctmor care part. so thats why i am writing this mail and hoping the reply asap. i will wait till Monday or else i will go to the consumer court because that's the last thing which i left. I recharged on Sub.                         Team, I am that unfortunate customer of Tatasky who is facing signal issue from last 2 weeks and I am following up with tatasky customer service team online through login as well as helpeline over phone! I raised one ticket SR[protected] wherein no one bothered to call or visited home to resolve the issue but when I loggedin back after a week could see that the ticket is closed! wow what a service of customer care! they say that if they forwarded the ticket details to someone.. they can close the ticket! they don't even have simple courtesy to call the customer within SLA to understand if the issue is resolved or not! just they take a decision to close the ticket? this is only to ensure their complaints resolution SLA looks good and publish that as amazing service! In reality problem remains same and customer continues to have issues and they keep following up!! I have called them several times and every time they that its escalated and no one turns up but an assurance will be given stating its escalated and within 24 hrs it gets resolved etc etc. don't know if they are planning to enter in to politics or confused that about me as voter or customer! by the way this is not just for my subscription but also my neighbours who also has similar issue and I heard that all of them facing the same issue!! I don't understand why tatasky customer service has such a thirdclass way of handling customer issues and they don't even call customer but customers need to follow up! at least before closing a open ticket, have courtesy to call the customer to understand if issue is resolved and whether the ticket can be resolved! record these things.. if I don't get the service by EoD today, this will be my last service risk taking from Tatasky. will opt for some thing else. not worth to spend so much to get such thirdclass service. !

                            1.I am not receiving signals in most of my channels for my Tatasky connection. 2.Inspite of false assurance imy complaint remains unatteded till date. . 3. the last complaint work order No.178636w also remains unattended till now. you are requested look into the matter

                            A subscription taken under the name rajni pathak. We are fully fed up of the problem happening to the connection. All marathi channels are inactive nd are working just for a while I request uh to see to it . and solve this problem as fast as possible!

                                Sir, I, P.Chacko Abraham, a Senior Citizen (Age 70) residing in, Orchid Palace, Military Road, Marol, Andheri-E, got cheated by one of the TATA Sky representative an amount of Rs. 9070 on account of Yearly subscription of TATA Sky Channel Network. I had taken a TATA Sky dish connection a month ago on a monthly payment mode. Due to additional benefit in Yearly payment, I called their Toll Free number and one of their representatives came here as before and collected Rs. 9070 for Yearly payment. I gave a crossed cheque No.159907 dated 5/5/15 of Federal Bank (Br. Sakinaka) in the agency name ‘Paramount Consultancy Service’. I got his collection SMS from the bank later. By 18th on words, I started getting SMS and intimation on channel regarding the monthly Subscription. I immediately called the Mr. Rama Kanth Mob. No.[protected]. (Airtel-GSM-Active) A Rep.of Paramount Consultancy Service. He promised to do the needful and credit the amount in my account. It did not happen and 21st I got SMS warning of disconnecting the service immediately if the payment not done in time. I was constantly trying to call Mr. Rama Kanth and found his Mobile is Switched Off. Even though I explained the whole story to the Tata agents, they did not take any action against Mr. Rama Kanth or try to find him. They said that they will try to sort out soon. After few hours, I got a call from TATA Sky (Mob. No. [protected]-Airtel-GSM Active) and promised to sort out the problem in 24 hours. I asked him whether I should pay one month subscription to avoid disconnection and he said not necessary. By midnight of 21st my dish connection got cut and the service stopped. I started calling the person promised to sort out on [protected] and got message that the cell is put off. I strongly believe that he and Rama Kanth closely connected in and cheated me together. Some of the Toll free people also connected to them in passing subscribers information. 22nd I paid Rs.670 + 100 on-line by evening and got my connection back. Please try to recover my money fraudulently collected from me and bring the culprits in to light to avoid further cheating in the name of dish connections.                                   Subscriber id:[protected] Problem: My Tata sky Box is not powering up, in technical term not booting up. its look like more over hardware issue. On 11-may-2015: raised a Call in Tata sky customer care, WO number:1DB9TT on 13-may-2015: technician Vijay called me and i described the issue also. That guys was really unprofessional and look like he is working in some government office. His behaviors were very adamant and rude. After complain again in customer care one more guy called me name Anand, and visited my house on 15-may-2015.he has got the wrong info that my signal is not working from his Management. and he was also not able to resolve the problem. on 16- may -2015 again i called customer care they raised a new WO:4FUYPH after that i have got a call on 18-may-2015 technician name Prakash, he told i will come today/tomorrow. After that i am keep calling these guys, now no one picked a phone also Really pathetic service from the tatasky Ever till now issue is not resolved. and the funny part is tatasky still sending message to recharge the box, whereas box is completely dead

                                    Dear Team My Tata sky service is stoped on[protected] even balance is available. On morning[protected] I have registered my complaint through call center. They send me work order number for technicians visit but no one come to visit and got SMS @ end of the day that work order completed successfully. Again I have registered my complaint through call center on[protected] same thing repeated by Tata sky team. And I got one more SMS without technicians visit. Today 2 time I m trying to speak with senior department of call center but they transferred my call to somebody and simply cut th a call. Now I got SMS of new work order. This is not correct way to give service to custome. Even Tata sky charged me for this 4 days also which I never enjoy the service.

                                      I have booked HD new connection with one month subscription on 20th may'15.Same day Dish was fixed and connection given.On 21 may I got a message to my mobile Current a/c bal Rs:117.64.But I have booked Rs:340 monthly subscription.Then where is my one month subscription.So pls provide one month subscription from the date of my purchase.
