[Resolved]  Airtel — Poor customer service

Hi,

I am v.Ramesh reddy from bangalore.I had taken a prepaid connection with airtel - ap circle on saturday i.E,. 14/07/2013. They have told that it will be activated in 48 hrs, the problem is that my sim is not activated till now.When iam calling the customer care representatives they are not responding.If we are calling them repeatedly, now they are telling that u have to take a new connection again.I had asked them that iam residing in bangalore and i wont go to bangalore for next coming 10 days, then how can i take connection?? They people are saying that v r helpless sir. U must take a new connection again.



For taking a new connection i have to go to andhra again, by wasting my tym nd keeping leave for office.



This is what they r doing.


Now a days airtel is becoming the worst in terms of customer service.They people vl look only for new connection nd money.

Bharti Airtel — Poor customer service

Sir,

Am working for a software company in Chennai. Last week ie., by May 27th, 2008 I took a postpaid connection under my Firm's CUG scheme and the number I was allocated is [protected].

At the time of taking connection, I submitted photocopies of my company ID card, PAN card, ration card and passport size photograph to one of your executives. And by 31st of May, outgoings were barred and the reason I was given, by your executive, is that I had cut, copied and pasted my mother's photo on someone else's ration card !!! Is this the way your novice executives will talk to a customer without even verifying the photocopies against originals ? Above all, to sort out this probs, your executives gave me an excellent idea (?!!!) that I should handover my original ration card to them and after verifying (ie., after a couple of days) they will return back that to me it seems !!! Who in India will give their original ration card to a third person ? Even in passport office, they return the originals to the customer on the spot after verification.

Is this the novel way you provide customer service ?

Don't you train your executives to speak in a polite manner ?

It's quite disgusting to see a private concern behaving in such a barbarious manner.

If I get a response to this complaint, I can provide the names and phone numbers of your valuable (???!!!) executives

AirTel — Poor Customer Service

I had visited ur Andheri (E) ARC on Wednesday, 25/06/2008 & spoke to Manisha sitting at counter no.3.

I explained her the entire issue which i am facing.

She told me that she had captured a complaint for my mobile number & i will get an SMS confirming the complaint number.

She also promised to call me back within 24 hours.

Later when i did not receive an SMS, i called-up customer care & they told me that there in no compalint captured at all.

I once again went to the same ARC on Thursday, 26/06/2008 but the executive sitting on counter no.2 informed me that she had a week-off & that i shud cum again on Friday, 27/06/2008.

When i came on Friday, she was not available in the ARC.

On asking about her, i was informed that she was on a break.

I was waiting for her for half-an-hour but she did not cum.

Then i informed the executive sitting on counter no.1 to inform manisha once she comes back to call me as per her promise for a call-back.

Today is Monday, 30/06/2008 but till now i have not received any call back from Manisha.

Is this the customer service provided at your end.


I once again repeat the entire issue.

I have 2 nos ([protected] & [protected]) in my name which i have taken as i wanted Inter-calling free.

Each month the bill comes with the incorrect charges as i do not get the bienifit of inter-calling.

Then i have to call the customer care & then they provide me that waiver of the incorrect charges & confirm that i will not be charged incorrectly from next bill onwards for both the nos.

But again in the bill of [protected], i have been charged approaximately 507.00 as once again i have not been given the benefits of Inter-call free.

I look forward to you as to get my issue resloved completely so that i get the reversal of the incorrect charges & also i shud not be charged incorrectly in future for my both the nos.

Hoping that my query will be resolved on top priority.

AirTel — Service is Poor

I like to convert my Airtel post paid connection to prepaid one. The customer cacre representative came and got the necessary details but he failed to register for the prepaid connection. So i called Customer care to know about my connection status. But they gave wrong number to call postpaid connection customer care. So i am not satisfed with the airtel service. It may push me to use other mobile service.

My name is Ram Kumar my mobile no :[protected] i got connection before one years so, i payed a bill properly for last one year, i am so unhappy this connection . what the reason means ... my mobile signal is not coming properly, i compliant lot of time but no use.when i was called customer care proper answer is not came. so i left lot of time.last month i complaint in airtel my signal is not came properly, they registered the complaint on 2.11.2008 still now is not resolved, last two days back i called customer care ms.divya (airtel customer care supervisor) attended my call i asked lot of question she is not given proper answer.Let see K.K.Nagar is very popular area in Chennai that place mobile signal is not available can you think that . Is not roomer its true, I have all document is there, so i give small advise don't take postpaid connection in airtel its waste, and i will take this issue legal action in few days

AirTel — Lousy customer service at AIRTEL

I live in UK and arrived into India on 15th Decdember 2008 morning. Ever since, I have been calling up folks at Airtel Bangalore to get my 'Lifetime Connection' live again. I had Santhosh from Sales, who hung up the phone on me, Mahesh from customer servioce giving me a total misleadiong information, Sathyaprasad who kept me on eternal hold... and finally I got hold of Kiran who managed to as I believe is reliable information. At least 100 minutes of STD call from Cochin to Banaglore customer service- ridiculous with no solution yet. I tried to go escalation path to be only told that the supervisors are busy on other calls.

To the bottomline... I took this lifetime connection in year 2006, had it flushing with top up. I used to travel to India frequently. However for past one year I have not travelled to India. Airtel now surprises me with information that the lifetime connection which they charge a one time Rs 999 is not lifetime if not charged every 6 months. Isn't this absurd? They have not even communicated this to me by any means. I have always had this number since 9 years although it was ported few times within different plans in Airtel.

Airtel does not allow easy recharges to be done on internet. Friends, It seems awkward as to why a company this big which uses big bollywood names for publicity tries to earn money through such dubious means. I feel cheated.

customer service — Poorest customer service

Was on Jetlite 8:40PM flight from Bangalore to New Delhi on 20 Dec. Had the most unforgettable flight till date. The customer service is of poorest in nature and content and would be disgrace to any airline to be compared with. No one from the airline staff to attend to query about the delayed status of the flight, chaotic boarding, and top it all not more than 15 luggage loaded on to aircraft, which we came to know only landed in Delhi. The Bangalore chaos was followed up in Delhi as well, with some ill trained, ill equipped young customer service executive trying to handle agitated customers. Some missed the connecting flight, and to add to their dismay, their luggage was in Bangalore. Some foreign tourists strangled on the airport in the early hours mornings, with missed connecting flight, no luggage and no one to attend to and no where to go….more was to come as the jetlite counter had not enough “missing luggage” form available. Aviation ministry should come out with certain guideline to control the menace of airlines as such, and Mr. Goyal u got no right to be in the business and u must retro inspect…….no wonder your company is in such mess, and to executives of the airline: we are sorry that whole country went up in arms to save your jobs, with the way you attend to your duties, you should be ashamed and held responsible for the mess of the company….for sure, I personally would think twice even considering this airline again.

AirTel — Poor Customer Care Serivice

Actually I had a query with prepaid service in Airtel, before going to Airtel Showroom in Splendid towers (Opp to Begumpet police station) I spoke to Customer care then they directed me to come down to there.

So I went there the same day,

And the same day I realised that how bad the customer service is in Airtel.

everyone there were trying to finish out the counts but not the customer problems.

When my turn came, the query was handled by Shailaja, she was also the same, not trying to look into my problem, but rather then trying to Complete the token service.

She was trying to tell that " You can go now ", doesn't even how to behave with customers and how to serve them.

If this is the case with Customer Care service, Who will avail their service.
by mistake i log on to www.igmobi.com i enter my phone no. since from that day my amount is being cut continuosly two days. it is showning GPRS connection, even i don't know how to use, so will you please disconnet it and it is possible then return my amount
Airtel Customer Support service is very bad and they always ignore your call. When by luck you get them they will say that the Network is down and they can not access your Details on the System database. please try later ..

This is very irritating and poor.

AirTel — Poor Airtel Service

I have a Airtel Life Time Connection Having Number [protected]. on this no cricket Messages are coming from 543212 and daily deduction of Rs 5 ( Five Only) is being deducted through my ballance. The deduction is being done through 5646505. Time to time since last three month I am contacting Customer care through messages and Calling rhem but there is no proper response. Alway it is told that after 24 Hours messages will be stoped but as soon as any indian cricket match starts daily deduction of 5/- starts .
Please do needful to stop this messaging sevise and obliges me

AirTel — Poor Customer service

I have ben using airtel since 2005 ( delhi) & Before 6 month I 've shifted to bangalore & got a new Pre paid air tel connection and continued it for next 3 months, then I ve got a call from CC executive regd post paid plans ( 3 times) & I ve given the appointment to meet their Executive, decieded to go for a post paid connection.

I ve given 320/- cash with reqd documents on 20th Feb 09 & clearly told them that I will available on next day or from 24th feb 09 for verifications clearance, the xecutive came to house on 23 rd & rang up me red verificatrion, again I told him that I will be available next day morning as i was out of state..
then I was calling...calling them for verifictin & other procedures, But finally I fed up with their remarkable attention given to their custmer( some time they wil pick my phone & say will call in few min. but never get back to me rather myself decided to approach them)
Even I asked them their executives free times to clear my verifications but the same results..
finally I went to Rajaji nagar(19 th march) Air el Customer Service & complained my problems & the ensured the verifications will be done in a week period, and Still I am waiting for my clearance from them, Now I decided to with draw my money 4m them, for that also they are not paying me after I spoke to them on April ****
i'm a airtel retailer..i've recharged for this no [protected] for 119 and 50 from my no [protected] on 24.10.2009 between 11.30pm and 12.00 but the customer told that he did n't get it But my balance has decreased...
i'm also not get any confirmation message for that recharge...
I am an Air Tel Customer with broad band/ land line on[protected] &[protected]. Besides my Mobile[protected] was taken, may be 10 years now- have International dialing with Rs 10, 000/- deposit now over 8 years.
I am most dissatisfied with your poor fading signal over 5 years now - with in my office cabin, and in my home besides several locations in Chennai/ Bangalore. You can find my complaint on record un- attended since Mr Krishnan was your regional head earlier.
Out of frustation, I took a second Mobile of Vodphone which works good both with in my office & home.

Dear sir,
my self tejas chovatiya n i m using airtel prepaid card from last 3 year ([protected]).in betwean 3 year also i used this no in postpaid....in postpaid connection u gave me a good service but after converting this card into prepaid u have started ur service again...till date sometimes my outgoing and incoming call stoped...and also my costemer care service has been stoped from your side since last 3 days....so whenever i face the problem on that time it is being necessory to go your airtel shop....by it my time wasted and also the respond of care office is also like a beggar....they waited us to take turne because they busy to drinke a tea and do masti with eachother even costemer are awaited....when the multy network system come on that timt i wil first my connection into VODAFONE....
i hate airtel to provide a differnt differnt services to its post paid and prepaid coustmer....
i request them if they want to bcome a leader in telecom industry thry should change their attitude towords the prepaid cos....

AirTel — poor service for customers

sir,
my airtel sim has been blocked by mistake. it is asking for the PUK number.
i tried my best to contact the customer care executive to get the number but was not able to. it is very urget for me to get the number as soon as possible.
i would be thankful i[censored] help me out .
the customer care service is in a bad state due to which customers face a lot of problems.

AirTel — poor customer care

Customer care services of AIRTEL company is getting worse day by day... they dont pick up the complaint... keep hanging the customer on call..... moreover the the reports after the call/ sms/and Internet uses dont come....
they keep customers in dark
today i.e., on 16th june 2011 i made my complaint from my friends mobile as according to them the customer can't try for complaint help after three succesful or unsuccesful efforts.
kindly look into the matter and give guidance to the company for above said.
