It’s very disheartening to bring to notice about our unpleasant experience with Thomas cook india . We had opted for SINGAPORE WONDERS 3 STAR ROYAL CARRIBEAN CRUISE PACKAGE, file number= G[protected] with tour start date[protected] and tour end date[protected].

There is discrepancy in our trip invoice, quotation provided by you and the amount collected from us by Thomas cook. We have attached the documents for same as attachments below.

As per quotation, there was no forex transaction tax and forex transaction fees which were added to the invoice with applicable GST on that amount . We could not refute for above as we had already paid advance amount of 75, 000 INR.

After completion of tour, we had to ask for trip invoice ( which we should have received beforehand without asking for it) which clearly shows above discrepancy. On telephonic enquiry with your representative, an excuse of software malfunction was given and we were assured of manual invoice.

After insisting we got rectified invoice after more than 2 weeks which showed following discrepancies.

1. The amount collected from us and the total amount in rectified invoice does not match, indicating due refund.

2. Forex transaction fees and tax are applied in rectified invoice while quotation for trip does not mention them.

3. Rate of exchange applied on invoice and on quotation differ more than historical rates of SGD.

It is very disappointing to see such unprofessional behaviour from such a reputed company.Hoping for rapid and immediate action into the matter and resolution/rectification and appropriate refund for the same so that our trust on company prevails.

    I was traveling to estonia and one day i lost my thomas cook prepaid card and raised a complaint at [protected]@in. Thomascook.com and requested for either new card or emergency cash and i was assured that i ll get the emergency cash within 24 hrs. Because issuing new card takes 5-6 working days.
    I was glad to hear that they will provide emergency cash within 24hrs. Today is 4th of me without any money in country out of india and still i have not got any support from thomascook. Everytime i call them they tell me to wait for 24 hrs.

    I don't understand the concept of emergency cash if they can't provide the services in case emergency. Highly disappointed with thomas cook prepaid card services.

      Dear sir,
      This is to inform you that out european tour was supposed to be from 2nd may - 13th may 2019... But our visa had been rejected by the embassy... We had already paid 6.50 lacks for this trip... When our visa was rejected they did not bother to help us. But they are denying that money won't be refundable. We requested them to give the papers regarding bookings... They ignored the matter and tried to over look it. They had misguided us from the very beginning. We often requested them about the papers but they misbehave with us.
      So, we are requesting to looking to the matter and solve the problem as soon as possible...

      There is discrepancy in trip quotation & invoice with a due refund on trip invoice.
      Poor visa assistance and one of passport was handed over to us few hours before our departure due to visa problem.

        I have been with thomas cook for booking a group package tour to australia with deviation of return travel date for last couple of weeks.
        1. It has been off and on to confirm on this tour.
        2. Internal coordination between various departments seem to have been missing
        3. Customer getting ignored by not attending phone calls either by relationship manager or her superior. They attend to phone calls or call back as per their convenience. There have been so many managers in escalation in all communication, but no one bothered to review and ensure proactive and transparent communication. This shows high-handedness attitude on their part.
        4. As only one month left out for the travel date and visa, my entire plan went for a toss as no one at thomas cook gave clear and transparent reply to my email or phone calls

          Sir, i am in europe tour from thomas cook in fusion package which is from 9 th may to 19th may... On the first day of our itself they started bit late and as a result we not even get down at lovre museum which is world famous. From a long distance we came because of your managers kate our schedule has gone everything late and we missed many things in paris. The same itenary of cox and kings is running very very nice showing wax museum in paris and other 27 attractions in paris. Today we really leaving to milan from cheazzo which we traveled a long long distance... And all our troop members are asking for shopping... And i am asking our tour manager to take us a village in milan in shopping... So, please arrange us today for shopping and make us happy...

          Now in the last minute they ask extra surcharge of Rs 2500 per person.
          They are harassing again and again by email.
          Asking Total of Rs 10000 for 4 persons extra.
          They are disturbing my living in peace.

            Dear before you and your company received the payment you called up several times. Now you are picking call nor your calling up. Are you going to windup thomas cook only with this transaction? I don't know what kind of attitude you have in your company? Still we have not update the our programme.

            1. Air ticket.
            2. Things to carry (Must)
            3. Who will co ordinate us? Who will guide us. Lot more inquiry. At least you answer for this. You (Thomas cook) make it very clearly " one satisfied customer will make one new customer, but one unsatisfied customer 100 potential customer to thomas cook.

              Good morning,

              I rounak purohit is a serving officer in indian air force.

              I am writing this mail to bring up a small concern from my side over booking through thomas cook india. As mentioned below.

              I have booked my package to bali, kuala lumpur malaysia from our gurgaon branch (Mg road)
              Date of journey -28 feb 19
              For me and my wife.
              I have booked both flights, accomodation and multiple tour packages through thomas cook office gurgaon.
              Entire package costed me appr.1.82 lakhs.
              Which was paid in full in due time.

              As we are aware about changing national security issues that developed on 26-27feb. I was recalled from leave on 27feb 19 for national cause (Document attached in mail). Same things was discussed with branch office and i requested for cancellation and refund of amount over extra ordinary national situations on 27feb19.
              I was advised to make additional payment of 10000. For rescheduling of malaysians airlines for sept for which i immediately complied.
              I have already sent all confirmation that thomas cook have already asked for.
              I am still awaiting for reply over flights, accomodation and 3 tour package i had booked.
              No confirmation recieved yet.

              I request thomas cook senior management to kindly take specific interest in my issue and help me and defence services in service of nation.
              For your consideration.
              In addition non helping individual who is working in defence services is highly ignominious

                Thomascook i must say this company is one of the worst travel agency we have ever come across and can turn your beautiful holiday into a horrific experience.
                We booked a group tour for 5 adults for usa with thomas cook tour name "scenic america with napa & tahoe" for travel between 28th may-11th june, the booking was done in feb, 2019 itself with the advance of 15, 000 per person being paid already.
                As we had taken the land package through thomas cook, all the required flights and other preparation were done on our end. With hardly 45 days left for the trip, on 12 th april we get a call from a thomas cook agent that they have to call off this group tour as they could not get enough passengers for this tour and we must choose another dates for this tour.
                How can we choose another dates when our flight tickets are booked and work commitments would be affected.
                This is the most shocking and surprising thing i have ever heard from a travel agency, especially from a company which everyone presumes to be big and reputed.
                I would like to file a case against this company and demand a compensation of rs 1 cr in regards to the loss of opportunity on the dates they had committed to host this tour or to make necessary arrangements to continue this tour on theses dates only (28th may-11th june)

                  I had booked a holiday to singapore with thomas cook and had added on some optional activities to universal studios and some other attractions not included in the package. These activities costed me an additional 30, 000 rs. A week before the trip, i got the confirmation vouchers which did not include the above add ons.
                  Upon contacting them for 5 hrs, my issue was taken up and i was told that i would be handed the vouchers at my destination. Upon reaching singapore, i was told by the tour partner that the vouchers are not included in the package.
                  Thomas cook cheated and ruined my entire holiday. I had to talk to them for hours to get refund of the activities but they didn't have any courtesy as a multinational company to solve my problem.

                  Please do not book with thomas cook. I've had many trips with makemytrip and have never faced such issues. This is the most fraudulent company.

                    I have done the europe tour booking from thomas cook, and we opted only for land package (Means excluding flight tickets and visa) because i'm outside the india, so i will take care of these two things, i have paid the full amount of payment in advance, and when i need documents from them to apply for the visa, they have given me one document where they have mentioned the hotel details for accommodation and tour code. When i submit that document to the embassy, they said it won't work, please send me the document directly from the hotel, i tried to reach out to hotel and they said they can't provide me the letter because there is no such booking exists. So i reached out to thomas cook that i got the query from embassy which i need to submit the documents in 14 days, initially they said that they will provide the document in 1-2 days, but now it's 7 days and there is no reply from them and now they are not picking up my phone and not replying to my message or email. It's fake document which they have given to me. What should i do now?

My trip from 12/3/19/to 16/3/19 any one not pickup from airport i caught a taxi to reach our hotel our booking is triple but hotel staff asked extra money for third bed and only provide two persons utilities for me. As per itinerary last sight seeing spot is china town but they drop at little india and tell me you go back hotel on your own this is the experience of our trip we never expected from thomas cook we are totally disappoint

                          Thomas cook india karnal, haryana branch cheating its customers over the currency exchange rates. I needed to buy canadian dollars in cash for my abroad studies. I was in touch with the thomas cook karnal for the last two weeks for the availabilty of canadian currency in cash at their branch and i received a call from them yesterday that a large lot of canadian currency has reached the branch and i can come to collect the currency today. Before visiting the branch i checked online the exchange rate prices for canadian dollars at the thomas cook website and i received a call from their agent. I was offered exchange rate of 52.80 online from the agent but the karnal branch offered me rate of 53.50. As an economic customer i wanted to buy the foreign currency at cheaper price so i thought of opting the online option i. E placing and paying for the order online and collecting the currency at the branch (Karnal). For confirming that i also visited the branch but they were only willing to give me currency at their higher rates and started making excuses for the online method. But i insisted that as both the prices are offered by the same company so i don't want to pay higher prices. Within their office, i called my thomas cook online agent to contact them. They gave him an excuse they booked it. I wander just 2 minutes earlier they were willing to give me foreign currency but as i mentioned the online method and difference in currency exchange rates they started changing their statements.
                          I urge the higher authorities to look into the matter so that other customers are not cheated like that.

                            I have a worst experiance with thomas cook in europe for all tour
                            Not recommend any one to go with thomas cook,
                            They are giving you two star hotel like the price of 3600/-rs for two adult and one child i have already check the price in booking.com. Very cheap rate and they are taken from me 200k inr for two adult and child without ticket cost
                            For seven days and service is also not good, very stressed fully tour tatally worst of cost

                              - aditi bose is not doing her job farely, we have passangers - who are creating nonsense n playing loud music, and also they are drinking in the bus - aditi is not able to control them. We are travelling as family and we havent spend money for tolerating nonsense. We already told to her but it shows she is guide for them not for group. Totally wrong information was given to us while booking and we have stuck after paying 10 lakhs. It is not at all relax trip and our parents are too disturb feel touchred.

                                I had booked a group tour for nainital on 9th jan 2019 for 9th feb 2019. Expecting it to be a group tour and was told that there is no-one to share the room hence had to pay extra to occupy a double room individually. Your sales person told me that there will be a tour guide who will manage the show. Made the payment thinking i will not be sharing the room but will be in a group when i go through the tour. When i reached delhi i realised there was no group and i was given a driver to drive me thorough the whole tour alone.

                                When i reached out to sales “sushank” he kept saying group tours are safe and when i mentioned there is no group; there was no revert from him.

                                I reached nainital and called “deepa ghatge” for reason of me being alone in the group tour, to which i was informed that the others cancelled and i didn’t, hence alone.

                                I was not informed that there is no group and i will be doing this tour alone, if this information was disclosed, if it would have been informed and i still would have chosen to continue, i would have been ok with the idea of doing the tour alone.

                                The misinformation lead to immediate cancellation and there was no help for booking tickets from their end.

                                I had to book my own tickets and travel back to delhi to take the return flight for which i had to incur ticket charges rs.15, 176/-. Did miss that flight due to delhi’s heavy traffic and had re-book by paying extra rs.3, 150/-

                                I accuse thomas cook for cheating me into buying this tour and i want my money along with return flight tickets back immediately.

                                  I booked a customized trip to london through thomas cook, mumbai on december 2019. Due to family emergency i had to cancel the trip. I wrote a mail to the same agent of thomas cook on 8th feb 2019 requesting to cancel my trip.

                                  He asked me for the proofs of my family emergency and said if i don't show the proofs i will not get my money refunded.
                                  I shared him the proofs as the soft copy on 17th feb 2019.

                                  After that i have got no response from the agent regarding my cancellation process. I have been emailing him, calling him couple of times, somebody else has been receiving my call saying the agent is either not available or is on leave or any other reasons.

                                  I strongly feel i am being ignored as i cancelled my bookings from thomas cook and that the company doesn't want to refund back money.

                                  When i pay money on time while booking the package through thomas cook then why cannot i get the same response from the team while cancelling a trip? When it comes to refunding money back, why the team has to ignore the customers.

                                  My experience with thomas cook for my first trip to europe was extremely good and hence i thought to go ahead with thomas cook again for my second trip planning. Due to family reasons i had to cancel it. But now it seems i have to struggle so much to get the refund and talk to the concerned agent.

                                  I am filing a complaint against the agent and the team who have been ignoring my cancellation request. And i am no more making any bookings from thomas cook, mumbai.

                                    My forex card was blocked without any intimation and when I realized and asked the support team, they sent a new card. It has been over 18 days and they asked me to fill a document and send in passport scan copies which I did 3 days ago and nobody cares to ### reply. This is not professional and totally unacceptable, in future I would risk my life carrying money rather than use this unworthy obsolete service.

                                      I traveled with my family from delhi to dubai from 19th oct to 24th oct 2018 using the services of thomas cook india, branch tdi mall rajouri garden, new delhi, india.
                                      The dealing executive mr vansh chadha took booking amount for tickets to miracle garden in dubai but one day before our departure he told us that miracle garden will not open during our stay in dubai.
                                      He promised to refund our booking amount but has failed to do so even after repeated calls, whatsapp messages and emails.
                                      Kindly help us to recover the amount at the earliest and please look into the matter of laxity on the part of travel company.
                                      they have done with me too. I am struggling to get my money back. I think I have to file a case against the company in the nearest police station.

                                      When they need money they take it from us on time. But when they have to refund, they dissapear.

                                      People should know what these travel agencies are.

                                        I purchased multicurrency travel card for usd10000 through online in india. At the time of purchase, i was told by mr shaikh of thomas cook who sold this travel card through online assured me that cash withdrawl from any allpoint atms will be without any charge and i can withdraw upto usd 1500 per day. I find that in the allpoint atms in ashburn virginia, the maximum per withdrawl is usd400. To my surprise, i find that only the first 3 withdrawls were without any charges and for every subsequent withdrawl, i have been charged usd2.36 per transaction. Please do the needful to stop this charges and also arrange to revert the amount usd7.08 already deducted from my account.
                                        My visa reference no. Is VI00055897 and my travrlling date is 23 feb 2019 still i am not getting any call and any assitance from your staff...i have made call several times...n they always says that we r going to aggarnge a call soon from assosiate employee.
