Dear Sir,
Until recently there was no limit to which a person could download using an Internet Connection labeled as an Unlimited Plan or a UL plan, but recently TRAI has approved the ISP's to put a cap on the usage o[censored]nlimited download users, this is called Fair Usage Policy (hence forth abbreviated as FUP) on unlimited plans.

I believe the users are at a loss as only the heavy users are opting for the unlimited plans and the Internet Service Providers (ISP) are charging accordingly but are not delivering as they have FUP as an excuse.

I have 2 points.

1.If the user the user is paying for the unlimited plan then why can he not have the liberty of the unlimited download? this is clearly cheating on the ISP's part as they cannot decide how much download is enough for a user ! and the FUP are fairly low for most of the ISPs. The users must have the entire right to download as much they want when they are paying for the unlimited plans.

2.If there is a surge in the usage o[censored]nlimited plans which resulted in the ISP's capability to deliver the product they promised hence resorted to Fair Usage Policy, then why are the ISPs not improving their infrastructure to handle the extra load or change the tarrif plans so that users are in the control of how much they want . FUP is essentially making the word unlimited download a lie and this policy must be abolished.

I sincerely hope that the consumer forum will take action action against this treacherous policy.

ur service is indeed the best in bombay nd i m completely satisfied with ur services but m requesting u to please come up with promotional packages for messages.they wer active sum 4 months back.but now all the promos hav been de-activated.please do the needful.such as 10p/msg wit 30rs?month pomo pack or hutch to hutch 30p/min cal rates.anything wil do.plz do the needful.

Vodafone — Providing unwanted services and charging hefty

I had not asked to renew Caller Tune services. You had given me it for 90 days. So why you renewed it and charged me. As per TRAI guidelines you can not provide any VAS services without my explicit consent.

Also, giving Caller Tune on pressing # while talking is also highly unethical. Pls. stop this, as in this case also there is not explicit consent of the customer.

I very much agree to this. If ISP is not in a position to deliver what he has commited he should upgrade his infrastructure. Also the user must be able to the see the USAGE Details for the UNLIMITED Plans also.
Also ISP should change the name of the plans from UNLIMITED to Volume Based plan.

This is open cheating. While providing the connection they didn't mention anything about the limit on unlimited plans.

How crazy does it sound? UNLIMITED PLAN but with limits.

I AM HAVING A MOBILE PREPAID LIFE TIME FREE OFFER CONNECTION OF TATA TELESERVICES (MAHARAHSTRA) LTD. MY NO. I have a mobile prepaid connection NO:[protected] from RCOM. RCOM is activating various packages on its own and deducting money from my prepaid account. On complain they are also not ready to refund the money which they have suo-moto deducted by themselves. I want to ask why prepaid customers are being cheated this way by Reliance Communication. Today also Rs. 30 has been deducted from my account on account of renewal of one ASTRO PACK. which I had not asked for. Can somebody stop RCOM from this highhandedness.
I have Vodaphone conncection and getting a lot of promotional SMS on my mobile. I had requested vodaphone to stop such SMS but instead of reducing number of SMS, now it increase.

But again and again I recive permotional call from Airtel side from these Numbers:- [protected] at 2:47pm 2/feb/2010 and [protected] at 2:41pm 2feb2010 I have launched so many complaints in Airtel Ex.(Comp no.3068357 1 on 29 1 10 and Comp no.30642510 on 28 01 10) But they all are useless. Now I also going to complaint in TRI also.

I AM TRYING TO CONTACT WITH RESPONSIBLE PERSON OF CONNECT COMPNAY FROM LAST 13 THIRTEEN DAYS.

This is a Comment regarding poor service of AIRCEL Company. I made a booking for a connection on 3rd Feb. ([protected]) this is my no. booking was done for a postpaid connection. After making the connection the employee of your company said your connection will get started I within 48 hours & instead of that he took 500 Rs. from me as a security & ID proof. But the connection is still not activated. I went to the Kamla nager Aircel office, they ask me to submit a receipt photo copy & I have submitted. They made me assure that they will themselves consult with the department for this problem. After this there is no response from AIRCEL. Then I made a complaint Via E-mail, in between that time I had a talk with customer care (he said they don’t have data regarding this problem) that means my complaint is still not posted. (then I received a call ), he said he’s going to sort out my problem within 48 hours and gave his number .After 2 days I called him & told him about the same, “that person replied I only handle the prepaid connection”. Now today is 13th Feb. It’s been ten days long, and you are not replying for the complaints. What the Bluddy treatment you guys are giving to your customers.
As a telecom company, a new brand in INDIA don’t knows how to do their work and provide customer satisfaction, ” then you are going to lead in this field???” I suggest you stop doing all your work, forget your targets .

TO WHOMSOEVER IT CONCERN,

MY CELL NO IS [protected] IN THE NAME OF DEEPAK R. OZA MUMBAI.I HAVE RELIANCE CDMA CONNECTION

MY COMPLAIN IS THAT ON DATE 11 NOV 2009 I HAVE CHANGED MY PLAN TO PPC 199 WITH CHANGE IN SMS PACK THAT I SPOKE TO EXECUTIVE MR.ASHOK ON *222 CALL LASTS FOR 19.38 MINUTS.

IN MY PREVIOUS MONTH BILL THEY HAVE CHARGED SOME 497/- RS EXTRA AS SMS CHARGE TO ME WHICH I DEDUCT FROM MY BILL AMOUNT AND PAY BALANCE OF IT.

ON DATE 16.02.10 MY OUTGOING WAS DEACTIVATED WHEN I CALL UP ON *222 REPRESENTATIVE SANDEEP KAUR SHE INFORMS ME THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN ACTION AGAINST MR, ASHOK IN REGARDS SAME AND TODAY AGAIN THEY HAVE DEACTIVATE MY OUTGOING SERVICE FOR THE SAME REASON.

IF SERVICE PROVIDER COMPANY IS AGREED FOR THE MISTAKES DONE BY THEIR EXECUTIVE THEN ALSO INSTITING ME TO PAY FOR WHAT I HAVE NOT TO PAY.

THIS IS VERY REDUCULUS WHAT WAY THE COMPANY IS TREATING OLDEST CUSTOMER OF RELIANCE COMMUNICATION AS THEY ARE AWARE THAT I AM ONE OF THE PIONEER CUSTOMER OF THE COMPANY.

ON THE DATE 20.02.2010 I AGAIN SPOKE TO SANDEEP KAUR ON *222 AGAIN REPEATEDLY THEY ARE FORCING TO PAY ADDITIONAL SMS CHARGES TILL THAT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO START MY OUTGOING CALLS.THIS IS JUST LIKE A SAFED LOOT BY THEM WITH CLIANTS AND AS I KNOW TRAI NEVER LET THEM DO THIS.

I have a prepaid connection with Airtel No [protected]. When I called to Customer Care of Airtel about Unlimited plan he said me Recharge with Rs. 275 then call 0n *567*31#. Your unlimited Internet plan will activate and u will charge monthly Rs. 98/- and u get free download upto 2GB. I do and when I use Internet connection on 25/02/2010. When I surprised my Internet connection Stopped and charged Rs 268 only for 2 hrs. Then I called to Customer Care they told me U want to do another recharge of Rs 98. This deduction is done by us is correctly and could not give u back credit. Could TRI will solve this problem.

I saw a program on 25th feb at 110.30pm, was about to recognise face of Celebrities. As per their No.5664464 I conntcted them. The cassate plaied & I waited till 2 minutes. I saw the Bill after the call was 24 Rs.just for 2 minuts of Not even Talk..? I talked to Vodafone care, they said it's by that Company, We could not do anything. I am agree with that but they [Gambler] should warn to viewrs about the charges no...?
Even if they talked to me then it might have been OK but I didn't respond any except Cassate reply to wait. That is not Obciously a call. I want my money back & do not want to happened with any other.

I’m having an AIRCEL (KERALA) connection for the last 4months.
2days before i.e. 4th march 2010 I recharged for RC49 (unlimited sms plan all over India).
Bt I didn’t gt unlimited SMS, I lost my credit. After that I called to AIRCEL cust care & they telling that only 666sms per day. & that RC 49pack is with terms & conditions, I also talk with their senior manager also, but I didn’t get a good reply from them.
I asked them that then y r u using the wrong word “UNLIMITED” with sms plan??? Bt no reply…
That’s y I’m complaining to consumer forum that “y AIRCEL making consumer FOOL by giving FAKE advertisements?????”

I have buy a new connection from Vodafone and they activated it very next day after doing some verification but after 2 they deactivated the same by showing the problem that it is being negatively verified if it has verified negative then why should they activated the number i told them to give my deposite back on that time they told me that you will not get your full deposite back we will cut 110 Rs of activation sir this is ridiculous i m fade from all this things plz so some way to get out of this.

Dear Sir,
With reference to my mobile number [protected] provided by Idea Cellular Ltd., I would like to bring to notice that.
1. We have a CUG of few numbers following all the rules and regulations by the Service Provider.
2. I belong to 5 SIm from the same CUG.

Since few months we are finding that Idea is charging the bill between the calls of our own CUG members and we have already files complaint for two times. We have been notified through SMS that our problem will be resolved up to 6 march 2010, but neither the problem is solved nor it is escalated. If we try to contact Idea top officials, the helpdesk people do not provide their contact details. From this scenario it feels that this is an idea of "Idea" to loot the clients.

We hope TRAI will look forward in these type of matters and pressurize service providers to keep the commitments given through plans while marketing in sweet words.

I Am airtel Postpaid mobile connection holder no is [protected] my latest bill for 11 feb-10 to 10 mar 10 has been genrated on 13 mar 10 but i have not recd my bill on email or by paper even i have made several request/Complaint to Airtel by phone and sms but no action on this, otherhhand airtel messaging me that my credit limit is going up nearby fixed credit limit RS-1500.00 Mobile connection will be closed.

i am vodafone customer [protected].i am writting this to you tell about the worst service provided by the vodafone.
i had a balance of Rs. 64/- in my account and i sed a message to activate the 1 paise billing service which is charged Rs.17. but the balance deducted in my account is 110. now my balance in my card is Rs.-46/-
When i called the customer care the response was given to me was very bad and my call was repeadtly disconnected by the executives. the names are: sowmya, kennedy, ajay, mahesh. where no docket no was provided to me.
then when i contact the showroom the same response was provided to me.
Then i contacted the nodal officer and the response was pethetic. names are: Rajalakshmi & Babu
and then appleite offices named faithima where she has given me very very bad service being in that designation .
please help me out to get the refund.

i had give my onother number ([protected]) to the idea's authorised showroom PARAM COMUNICATION PLADI AHMEDABAD ON 22 JAN. for doing prepaid from postpaid. from that date to till date my card will not be in process and also they are using rough languages., i made complaint to the HEAD OFFICE but there is no reply from there ... so TRI HAVE ONLY SOLUTION FOR MY THIS COMPLAINT.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

In referance to the mentioned above, I would like to inform you that, I am using you service for a couple of years. My number is [protected].

I called your customer care officer last week and asked regarding the messages forwareded to my no. about IPL cricket updation and requested him to check the status from his system. I requested him to to check -

1. Wheather it is a paid service or not.
2. As my presonal no. is registered with national DND service why you are sending me all those messages to my no.
3. If anything wrong please do the needful and deactivate all those unnecessary thing and refund me back my money to my account.


Unfortunately nothing happened. Moreover today I received a SMS from your 57000 no. which is showing "received" at (your system Date & time) - "08:18:16 p.m." on "08.04.2010". for free subscribe with Aircel Friend Zone for 10(ten) days. And to deactivate dial 570001. Immediately I called to the given no. 570001 to deactivate but there is no such option to deactivate.

Then I called to log a complain against that, and as per your "IVRS" I got a lady who introduced herself as Ms. Tanushree. I had a conversation with her for more than 10 (ten) minutes. But she was totally helpless to solve my problems and taking permission from me, forwarded my call to her higher authority. I was on the line for exactly 20(twenty) minutes but there was no reply from you. Now I am intimating the details what I got from her.

1. My DND service is deactivated from October 2008. And it was activated for 90 (ninety) days only.
2. For IPL cricket updating you have charged Rs. 3/ SMS from me.
3. You do not have any record or detail to reply your customer instantly.
4. To have all the detail I need to call you up again after 6 Hr.

I called you at 11.02 a.m. again after getting on line for 20 min.(mentioned before). Repeating the same I got Mr. Mithun. I have to repeat all the detail what I told to Ms. Tanushree. At the same way he forwarded my call to his higher authority. When he was forwarding my call I asked for the time duration for getting his higher official. And requested him "to do the same within 5(five) min. as I have already wested more than 20 min for the same. Otherwise I requested to solve it by his own". It is not possible for me to provide more time, as I provide consultancy to a Ltd. Company Hospital. This was very disgusting getting no reply after holding my call for 20(twenty) min.

Now my question is -
1. How could you activate my DND without having any prior notice ( SMS/ Mail/ Ph. Call) from my side?
2. How could you deduct money from my account without giving me any prior intimation.
3. Why you like service provider intentionally forward SMS to your valued customers in such a complex manner so that, you can take easy chance to earn money in a improper way?
4. Whenever my no. is DND registered, why you are disturbing me repeatedly?
5. If I take the conversation with Ms. Tanushree is a truth, isn't it a dangerous scenario for the customer and so also for the "nation" that, you like service provider forwarding your service to your valued customer without having any detail in your "system" instantly.
6. Is it a good example of customer care service that, activate any value added service to any customer without giving any proper notice or is it authentic?
7. If I take the occurrence as just a mistake from your side, do you have really the right/ rights to harass your customer?
8. As this problem is from your side, how will you compensate me (monitory/ time) for the harassment?

Hope you will do the needful as required as soon as possible. Expecting your reply immediately.

Moreover when I called to there customer care cell today's morning there supervisor Md. Irshad told that my cell no. was not DND activated for anytime. That means he was just denying the word of Ms. Tanushree what she told me on Friday. Moreover he was just pressurising me to forward me a SMS to a particular no. for deactivating the cricket adation SMS service. When I become able to convince him that the request for DND deactivation request had never been forwarded to you by my side, then he considered my case and register my no. for deactivating DND and forwarded me the registration no. Again when I crossed him for deactivation the IPL cricket updation he registered a request no. and gave it to me. When I asked about my account status, the answer was as usual - call after 6 Hr. There is a problem with our system. And we are updating our system. But unfortunately I am getting the useless SMS till now. Again I called customer care. The reply from them we cannot deactivate it. You have to deactivate it from you.

Then my question is how this type of service provider is providing service to there customer in such a poor manner? What is the utility of the request no given to me by Mr. Irshad? I have names of some other persons also who are also facing same type of problems from Aircel. Is there really no such way out to get rid off these problems created by these MNCs? Why the system will be so complex and the procedures will be so time taken? Why those companies will be so much desperate with the rights of their customers? Why they will not be liable for these type of harassment?

Please advice and do the needful as required.

saying that this is not in my name. I was surprised and then got in touch with their airtel gallery in Vasai, dist thane and they werereluctant to talk to me and started asking all non sense question that whom I had spoken a month back etc and on speaking to their nodel officer she says its acommon phenomana that some elses no can be registred with others name and this cannot be retified.

Please do something to stop this practice and stop the connection of the person who got the connection with my document.

Airtel DTH TV at my resident at Indore.
I received e mail from Sharad dixit (<sharad.[protected]@vriti-interactive.com>)
giving details of offer as well cost etc.on 20.5.2010. I received
phone call from Mr Sharad Dixit of Airtel ( cell No. [protected]) on
20.5.2010 asking me when I can take DTH ? I said that I have guest and
I can take right now. He asked me to pay money and as per his
instruction I made transfer of Rs 1700/- through corporation Bank
internet transfer on 20.5.2010 at 11.30 AM . After getting amount Mr
Sharad Dixit said that Airtel Engineer will be in touch with you and
that before noon on 20.5.2010 they will install DTH at my residence.

Till 4.30 PM no Airtel Engineer has come to install DTH at my
residence on 20.5.2010 so I called Mr Sharad Dixit on his cell No
[protected] but he did not attend my call (my e mail atteched herewith
No. 1). I made several attemps but he did not attend my call. Than I
called him from another cell than he picked-up that call. I said to
him that as per your assurance no Airtel Engineer has come to install
DTH till 6.30 hrs on 20.5.2010, in reply he says that it will be done
on 21.5.2010.

On 21.5.2010 I received e mail from Airtel giving me kit details etc
but no one has come to install the DTH. Copy of Airtel e mail is
atteched herewith (No.2)

On 21.5.2010 I called Airtel toll free No. [protected] for activation
of the kit as per their instruction on e mail (No.2) and got reference
No. for the activation and the Airtel executive (on toll free No.)
said that kit has been activated and that Airtel Engineer will come to
install DTH 0n 22.5.2010 at 11 AM.

I called Airtel toll free No at 11 AM on 22.5.2010 and wish to know
about the installation but the Airtel Toll free No. executive said
that kit is not yet activated and I shoud give once more kit details
so that he could activate kit in order to install DTH.
I gave him kit details as per Air tel e mail No. 2. The executive said
that DTH will be install at 13 hrs on 22.5.2010. But no one has come
to install DTH.

On 22.5.2010 I called Airtel executive again at 14 hrs and up dated
him that no one has come to install DTH and now I am fed up with your
assurance so please cancell my order for DTH. He made a request with
their system and gave me request No. 2777740 for cancellation of DTH.

Since 22.5.2010 I am writing e mails and making call to Airtel for
return of my money amounting to Rs 1700/- but no one is hearing and
not replying to my e mails.

Kindly look in to the matter and direct Airtel to return my deposit money alongwith interest.

I am having an airtel connection. Of late, for the last two months, they are started deducting various amounts from the prepaid charges on accoun of some non-sense service called Tadkalive. I tried to stop the same by messaging to the airtel message centre several times to stop the same but to no avail. Every now and then they deduct some money for th services whih were never asked for, which is causing financial loss to me. I even wrote an email to the airtel authorities to stop this service but they do not seem to bother. Please advice whom to approach since an email sent to TRAi also failed to stop this service or the deduction of chargs from my prepaid connection.
I have brought a new number [protected] on 18th july 2010. I had provided my all documents. Address verifcation ppls called me fro mreliance that they will come to my house to collect address proof and ID proof but they came on 2nd evening. In morning on 23rd i noticed that my outgoing is barred without informing me ant reason. I tryed to chase customer care and they told that untill i do submit my address and ID proofs again to the same place i got this number, my outgoings will not be unbarred. I have submited my docs again today @ Reliance Stores 109 Sahni Tower Rajender Nagar Sahibabad Ghaziabad at 9:45 AM. Agent told me that he hass already forworded my info to head office but he cannot commit about how much time it may take to re activate my outgoings.

I do not have any other alternate number with outgoing and have no choice other then to operate my work from public telephone booth. I know i am not going to get any compensation of this but if provider's cannot serve consumer grivances on time then they should be punished.

Fair Usage Policy? Is it people aware and literate enough to know meaning of the word UNLIMITED?

Its fine if you make FUP rule on Indian Consumers, but better remove word UNLIMITED from every website, Plans and Advertisements and ISP providers marketing techniques who are fooling around.

You can rename plans are Limited Plans with Fair Usage rather than Unlimited Plans, old consumers should be given prior notice and tenure so they can look for any other providers or plans rather than getting scammed.

Top of it India is developing country now I even doubt that, I can feel India is even way to below than even called as developing country, its degrading day by day rather than progressing. When it comes to internet speed. India has standard DSL of 128Kbps where as rest of the world has 512Kbps on an average. India has so much demands but you are only ripping money of the pockets of common earning individual. The employment rate is low, wages are low and now you setting limits when customer is paying for "unlimited". You guys are just filling up your pockets with money, rather than utilizing that money on upgrades. Setting up limits is not a solution when you say developing. Do you think your setting limits is that what you call FAIR. I strongly agree with the complain about Fair Usage Policy. It should be discarded its unacceptable when it comes to freedom. Did India got independence on 1947, I highly doubt even living in 2010 after over 60years? No Freedom as such only British left and now been ruled by Politicians and playing around with people and making money that's all I want to say, FUP is money ripping and fooling around policy.

There are so many complaints against the telecom service providers. Unreported complaints are innumerable as people seldom have the time or patience to lodge a complaint and follow it up as generally the money involved is small (at a time) and there doesn't seem to be a quick redressal system. The service providers are taking advantage of the situation and amassing huge revenues through nefarious means. They have become totally unaccountable. Only exemplary punishment such as big penalties or imprisonment can stop such loot. However, the action taken by TRAI or anybody else on any complaint is not shown in this forum. If there is no hope of redressal, what is the point in complaining ?

I was a happy customer of Airtel... I am really unhappy with Airtel... now...'cause of their FUP plan... 1 mbps...25GB... It will finish in 10 days...rest of the days... I gotta be with 512 Kbps..Are they gonna reduce the money for it... No... I need to pay entire amount...I would have been taken their 4 Mbps plan... but their is no use... after the FUP limit it will be 256 Kbps... I go to a restaurant where there is an ala carte menu and all you can eat buffet... i pay more for the buffet cause i am hungry... as soon as i gobble down a few spoon fulls... the manager of the restaurant comes down to me snatches my cutlery and hands me a toothpick and forces me to it with it...

dont call it high speed or unlimited... and educate the user... the plan that u are paying 3-5 times extra will be as good as the 256kbps plans i[censored] use it for full speed for less than a day... rest of the days it will be slightly better than dial up...

The Umbrella salesman: "This Umbrella will last forever as long as you dont use it in the rain or sun."

Fair Usage Policy is dodgey in principle and illegal in practice. (The limits that get finished with a day and half o[censored]se is not at all generous)

Airtel <you could put your ISP name Here> has recently implemented Fair Usage Policy (FUP). The policy is focused on advanced Internet users. People who operate on the cloud. Prefer to use the internet to communicate share and other activities. The policy is a con job. If the same principle of FUP is applied to any other service you would be infuriated.
Suppose you rent a car from a place that says "unlimited kilometers - one fixed rate"
So u rent the car... drive it around a lot couple of days and the car rental company comes to u after 2 days and says, hey wait we said unlimited kilometers but now for the next 28 days u got to push the car everywhere not drive it....
Does that sound like you being ripped off????
Everybody knows there is nothing like unlimited - We have limitations of time on everything.
So i would assume when Airtel offer unlimited plan they do calculate.... Hmm worst case scenario this user will use internet for 30 day 24hrs a day... is it feasable???
A generous limit would be 30daysx24 hrs (always on).... It would acceptable to have 30 days x18hrs or even 30 days x 12 hrs...
The current limit is more like 30 days x 50 minutes or 30days x 1 hr.

I have been availing Idea Cellular services since 2006 and my number is [protected]. I have been having signal problems at my residence and other places ever since I have taken the connection in 2006. I have complained umpteen number of times, but never did they ever make any effort to to rectify the problem. Thanks to the the Ministry of Communication for launching MOBILE PORTABILITY. The day it was launched, I approached Airtel to get me transfered to their network. Accordingly my request was forwarded by Airtel to Idea Cellular for their consent. Twice it was rejected by idea cellular saying that that the porting code does not match. This is being done deliberately by Idea Cellular. After putting lots of pressure on them, they have sent me an email stating that I could be ported out to Airtel if I pay them Rs.5, 000/-. because I am holding a premium number. Whatever premium had to be paid was paid in the year 2006 itself for the number. This is gross injustice and unfair. I have hope over you. Please direct the Idea Cellular Authorities to port e out without creating any litigation. Thanking you,

I am very sorry to say how a Telcom company of India IDEA which change the world,
sales Agent give misleading information to it customer to achieve there target of sale, I have no IDEA why this was happen to me.

For your information I would I like to put some point in front of yours how I was trap in
this so you may come to know and have IDEA how your company sales person mislead us.

I was a Reliance customer before getting Idea connection in number portability scheme.I applied for the scheme for better service, Mr. Ashok (cell no. [protected]) contact me representing your company.

On verification time I object for the wrong information of name.

My connection was in name of my company and I ask the same for the bill. But on
verification of my address the person who came for this assured me the name of the
company will be there.

But sorry to say on bill there no mention of my company name. due to which my
company will not pay the bill. As per rule the bill should be in my company name
because they are paying my bill.

The scheme which was told at the time of getting connection by your salesman were not up to mark on using it, the call rate for local and std, sms charge, and all free call and sms was not give in it.

On inquiring the same in your Idea customer care the response was not satisfactory. My all call has been stop by your company without of my knowledge .

Please guide me properly so that I can be safer hand in using Idea service.

I have buy a new connection from TATA DOCOMO ([protected]) 3 months ago and they activated it at same day without any verification but after 2 months they have stopped outgoing by showing the problem that it is being negatively verified if it has verified negative then why should they activated the number. Even they are not taking any complain fron me. Sir this is ridiculous i m fade from all this things plz so some way to get out of this.

This is with reference to my Airtel broadband connection under account no. XXXXXXX. On 7th April 2011, I received a SMS from Airtel side stating “Dear Customer, you have reached 80% of your high speed data limit. After 100%, your speed will be revised as per your plan till the end of this bill cycle.”

This was the first time when I received such communication and since I have mobile as well of Airtel with GPRS connectivity, I tried to figure out that this SMS is related to my broadband connection.

I called up at Airtel customer service yesterday and enquired about the same as how come, without customer concurrence and knowledge, my speed has been downgraded (because I was feeling the slowness of speed for couple of days), the response from Airtel was that this has been done due to my over usage and they do it when the customer crosses the usage limit.

Now, my question is, “Without any concurrence, information or knowledge to customer, how can Airtel downgrade the speed under an unlimited usage plan for which I am paying a hefty monthly charges also.”

This is simply very bad malpractice and cheating by Airtel with its customers. Upon further enquiring, their response was that each and every broadband ISP is doing this practice to which I was further shocked.

As the nodal authority and supreme body for telecom complaints, I seek your kind intervention in stopping such practices in the markets.

Dear All,

I am really surprised and astonished to find the legal notice sent by Shiva And Rawley stating that the notice has been sent due to non payment of airtel landline bill.
I do pity on them as they do not know the full ramayan which has happened behind this non payment of bill.
I have taken this airtel broadband connection on 04 January 2011 within a weeks time my problem relating to internet connectivity started.
I have lodged various complaints throguh telephone and also i have also sent several e-mails on April 17, 18 May 2, 5, 8 addressed to nodal officer as well as the appallate authority but no propoer resolution has been given till date.

As i was totally disappointed and frustrated about your pathetic service i decided not to pay your bills as you have not delivered the service you have promised me at the time of taking this connection.


one of the complain numbers is 17402000 which was resolved even without sending any person to solve the problem.

i also received complain numbers 19 April 2011 with the reference number:45384746 promised to get back on 20 April 2011 but no response or resolution till date and on 11 May 2011 for which the complaint number:46250414 for which you guys promised to get back to me on 12 May 2011 but no reply or resolution again till date.

On top of this worst and pathetic customer service you are sending me legal notice for non payment of bill when u have not fulfilled your obligation as a service by providing good and proper service for the past four months.

As your clie nt has failed in providing the proper service which they agreed at the time of taking the connection and instead have sent me a legal notice
i have no other choice rahter than to file a suit in consumer court for deficency of service if the outstanding amountis not reversed as a compensation for deficiency of service and also my landline connection has to be cancelled taking this mail as a confirmation from my side.

If both these things does not happen with tomorrow evening i would be filing a case in consumer court against airtel and take it forward from there as i have all the proof for not serving me or delivering proper service as committed.

Please tell me without pick up the call how could I know who was calling me ? though I just disconnected the call without done any function, why deducted my balance ? I think it is cheating with customer

My mobile #[protected] was registered since almost more than 12 years in do not disturb registry which enables me to bar all promotional calls and sms. But unfortunately my dnd registration get deactivated and this has happened for the third time. I have complained to airtel about this on two earlier occasions and till today i have not received any explanation for this. Today also my dnd got deregistered and i at no point of time till today have i ever sent a request to deactivate my dnd. Now my simple question is how has it happened and who is responsible for this?
In this same issue last year also i had registered a complaint with the help line and i was assured of an answer which has failed to come till today. Three years earlier also the same issue happened and i am still to get an answer for the same.in both the cases i had to get my dnd registry reactivate waiting and bearing with the irritating promotional calls and sms for 45 days. The irony here is even airtel is a party to these promotional sms.
I spoke to the nodal officer mr. Meenakshi bora on phone:[protected] and there was no satisfactory answer from his side but to inform me the complaint has been registered and i have to wait for 72 hours. Though i very clearly explained to him that i have not called to register for dnd but to seek an answer for my deactivation and to leave the status of my dnd in its current deactivated status.
After a mew minutes i get a sms confirming my dnd registration number. As i had not requested for dnd who has authorized the registration. I have tried calling the nodal officer at least 10 times and my call went unanswered or went on hold for very long periods.
I finally called the phone:[protected] the appellate officer mr. Anil kumar who took a complaint and said will look into the matter. But failed to explain how my dnd activation request was done when i never opted for it at all.
I as a consumer have the right to know how can anybody from airtel without my consent activate and deactivate my dnd at their whim and fancy. Is not airtel under the norms and obligation of the trai. As a consumer i demand the answer from airtel at the earliest. I also reserve the right to initiate legal action against airtel under the consumer laws as well aswith the trai.

I am facing problem in billing from Vodafone. I am using G- 229 CUG plan ([protected]) since May 2011 and every month I am getting wrong renewal reminders. In my first billing the actual unpaid bill is 416 however i was getting reminders of 1169 so I made my first payment with an amount of Rs. 1200.00. Later on I came to know that my actual unpaid billing amount is only 416.00. After knowing the fact and error of service provider i called on vodafone care to discuss the same thing, they just deny to refund my access amount and told me that it will be adjucted in next billing. My second bill was generated for an amount of Rs. 794.00 due on July 15, 2011 which was already paid in advance as I was made an access payment of Rs. 784 in my first billing. Today morning when i trid to call on of my friend than i came to know that my outgoing call barred from service provider. As per them my credit limit exceeded hence the stop my outgoing calls. I know my usages and it is not possible that I called or used 1825 in 8 days. From July 16, 2011 to July 23, 2011, my unpaid billing amount is 1825. please find my mail body attached for your reference which was marded to corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com CCed to 'sanjays.[protected]@vodafone.com' by today. there is also unsatisfactory response from Sarabjeet and Gaurav in helpline @ vodafone customer care. Sarabjeet has put me on hold and later on cut my call without intimating me.

It would be appriciated if my raised concern resolved by TRAI as I am not able to resolve the issue with service provider.

Can someone give me clarification or make me understand that why my outgoing calls barred. My last billing amount has already paid in advance and now again I am getting reminders to pay Rs.1825. This is not possible that I use such a huge amount in between 15 to 23 July 2011. Please recheck your accounts and confirm me back with clear details and provide my current month usages bifurcation with all numbers.

With a grave feeling I would like to ventilate the same to you, the concern is related to the basic customer delivery of your company who is always considered as a pioneer in Indian Telecom Industry.
The story begins when I decided to port out from Docomo to Airtel in the month of April. Al the process was adhered accordingly and on 25th Apr probably I have been ported into Airtel as a happy customer. But on the third day I observed that neither am able to send any sms nor able to use Internet. I sent a mail to your 121 mail help desk but astonishingly each time I have got a revert stating that my number does not belong to Airtel. I can send you all those mails as per your requirement. Then being fed up I wrote a mail to you and then I got a proper response. If a general customer has to escalate to this extent to get a service from his TSP then its really out of reach from the lame customers.
But after that I found the service again go the same extent, each mail I have sent to the id [protected]@in.airtel.com got the same revert stating that

“Dear Customer,

This is to inform you that your concern has been noted and our team is working on a resolution. At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience faced by you. We will get in touch with you for further details of your concern as the need arises.“
It is not only for any complain but also for any normal queries like 3g tariff or port out method.

However, suddenly I came to know of a very good postpaid plan in which I wanted to migrate so duly submitted all the relevant documents to Mr Rashidul Shaikh ([protected]) on the second week of july but till time I have not been communicated why I cant migrate from pre to post. Marketing people are not sure and they are asking to visit ASC for which I have no time.

So at last I decided to port out from Airtel as I felt mysel[censored]nwanted in your company so I sent a mail asking for Port out method, after more than two days, got a call in which I have been asked..do you like to port out? What do you want now? I said I want to port out, he said ok, am sending you the method…it is a MNP retention call..tone and manner was awesome.

Sir, I have affirmed myself to port out but would like to let you know of this heavenly aspect of your highly paid employees for whom one customer who is generating a revenue of more than 500Rs in a month have no value, I believe still you do care for your business and you will. However, if it is possible, look into this issue by managing few minutes from your busy schedule, am really sorry as I need to knock on your door to get this petty resolution.

Every month i have to call back and request them to remove the service. this is happening frequently. so i want relief and justice for this.

Recently i got a sms regarding renewal of service(10/- p.m) but i didn't subscribed any such service. other then that sms also consisted information regarding unsubscription and when i tried to unsubscribe it, the reply from idea cellular was that the key is wrong. in addition to this they has deducted 3/- from my balance for that sms.

when we called up to customer care, they are skipping it by saying that it has been activated by you when we called up on to your mobile. But i never received such kind of calls.

It's not matter of 3/- but it is matter that how long such malpractices will be continued and why we have to suffer. Moreover if such practices are continued how a laymen can react to it.

Please try to understand and help not only me but everyone who faces such a problem

i am manish and my no is [protected]. i am unhappy with vodafone services i am using vodafone service since 5 years but on 24 sep and 25 sep my balance is worongly deducted. i was using mobile internet on my phone and i have using data card in my moblie ( it is 2GB pack) according to them my validity for above mentioned plan was expire on 24 sep on 5pm. but i was using internet at 3 o'clock i just received msg from them that your validity is expired now i suddenly responded and close all my accssed web pages which are google home page ( 23 kb size ) facebook home page (which is 15 kb) i close them all.then i check my balance than my balance is 13 rs and after 5 min i was -35 rs.
same thing happen to me on 25 sep i recharge my mobile with 100rs and again gain mobile internet pack for 95 rs ( 2GB pack) my mobile was updated with a msg that now u can subscrib 2 GB mobile internet for 30 days. after seeing that msg i just open google and gmail and facebook my agile service provider reworded me with the -150 rs i was amused the way they cheated, looted robbed, there own Constance costumers.
i were more then happy if i use the worthy data( 200rs) but i didnt so please it is a humble request of mine on behalf of many similar costumers who suffered or will suffer in near future.

please respond on this issue it is not about my 200 odd rupees. kindly solve my problem.

i am Suresh Sancheti.I had a connection of Reliance having no [protected].Before one and half month I had requested for MNP to Tata which was successfully done.There was no issues then but it is approx ten days that my line is out of service.I have complained in Tata Mobile network they told me reason that my reliance bill is not yet paid that’s why line is disconnected, I have paid the payment after that on 26/9/2011 . relience said line will be start upto 2 to three days. . but still my line not coonected. . and also outgoing line disconnected. . I again get back to Tata Network, then they said the line discunnect from reliance . nothing to do in there hand., but till date the problem remains the same. Neither Reliance nor Tata is taking grant to short out these.What should I do?

    Reliance Mobile — rembursement of security money

    I surrendered my postpaid reliance connection no. [protected] on 18/12/2007. I received my last bill no. B501811-C002338 which says i have to pay -187.00 rupees. which means that after all deductions from my security money I should get 187 rupees. But, unfortunately a year has passed nd i am yet to receive the amount.

    Today i.e. on date[protected] I received one message from service provider that congrats, you are now subscribed to AirTel Friendz Chat for Rs. 30 for next 30 days. Ur chat Id is 8... (remaining nor filled fro my security, if require povided upon request ). Dial 543216 to find frindz! Rs 2/min. After seeing this i called to AirTel customer care. initially Mr. Madhu lifted my call and told that You are not charged for any thing. but only message sent.
    Then i said that my account was deducted and just like some discursion was went on and later i said that i complaint to the TRAI authorities, even though he didnt cared and stopped the call.
    Again i called to customer care. this time one lady lifted and said that u r subscribed to voice chating so your balance was deducted. but i have not subscribed any voice chat. during conversation only, she just put off the call by telling thanking you for calling customer care. this is not good thing!
    Again i called to customer care, this time Anurith named lifted my call and answered as follows...that the subscription message sent to my mobile ([protected]) from message centre[protected] was correct and was not supposed to be charged but it was deducted from balance unexpectedly. actually when u activate the subsription, then only balance has to be deducted and said that my voice chatting message was not subsrcibed and not activated now so the deducted amount will be reimbersed into your balnce with in 4 hours.

    now i have to wait for another 4 hours for knowing the results...i.e...of reimbersement of balance amont of Rs. 30

    this is the not the first time i faced this problem. earlier also i encountered this problem but earlier i dont know about the the TRAI complaint book.

    this is so embarassing that untill unless i asked the customer care they havnt did anything.

    so i request you to take legal or necessory action on this regard.

    i would like to bring you notice that, why the telecom companies providing very less amount on recharge coupon. we are using vodafone services they are deducting high amount on every recharge coupon. i would like to register this complaint with TRAI, because as per their recently introduced act every companies should give full talktime on recharge. But without prior information or alert message, they deactivted this Add-On facility from 07.02.2009 onwards. This kind of activity it hurts the trust which I put upon you. I heard about the new Club-5 Add-On Scheme I don't want to join in this Scheme and i would like to continue in the old Scheme. So I request you to take necessary action in this regard at early of possible.

    Sub : False activation of VAS (Caller Tunes) in my No.& Arbitrary Deduction from my prepaid balance of Mobile No. [protected] (Reliance)

    Dear Sir

    Some bulk amount of talktime Rs. 45/- and Rs. 16.80 in two respective recharges is being deducted suddenly from my balance without any activation of VAS (Caller Tunes) from my no. from my end even without any informtion to me. Even now there is a minus balance in my A/c which means if recharged again it will be deducted immediately. When contacted, Customer Care is careless enough to provide any suitable justification, nor even ready lodging any complaint or make reimbursement of deducted unjustified balance. Even total talktime deducted is much excess than the actual charge for the VAS which has been falsely activated in the no. At least 10 calls per day come in my mobile from Reliance with insisting on using Caller Tunes. On every occasion it has been ignored as its of our no use because the no. is being used by my mother who is a medical patient and only receives some incoming calls in this no. Still they cheated us by forcefuly activating the same and deducting a fictitious major amount without my knowledge from my balance in separate times.

    Even Customer Care agrees that if it is accidentally activated, initinally not more than Rs. 5/- for 5 days (caller tunes) is deducted from balance. Then how could such amount of total Rs. 62/- till now can be deducted in any case without activating it by the customer. Meanwhile One Customer care executive at least managed to deactivate the caller tune from my no.after my repeated request but no reimbursement of talktime is being given so far which is really needful to us at this medical crisis.

    Why dont TRAI gives us a suitable platform like some portal or email id or Toll Free Telehphone No. for registering our this kind o[censored]nsolved complaint so that the Mobile Service providers are compelled to take care of their customer in such genuine cases. Also Mobile Cos. should feel the problems and harrasment of the existing customers who are loyal to them since past years other than just making money by running after new subscribers.

    Unless the MNP days in not far enough when such Careless providers would loss a huge no. o[censored]nsatisfied customers day by day.

    Yes it very true when we call them they put our call on hold for long long time. and sometime they discoonect the call and as far as i know about cst care that excutive cannot disconnect the call till we wont do it. And if we ask for floor manager they always says that we have t talk to them only thery cannot trabfers our calls to floor manager. Half of the time they are bussy in metting dont know wht metting they do and still so many custmer facing th e problems.

    I have a CUG connections 3 numbers ( [protected]) under my name, and the service is so detoriating, the calls get disconnected whether it is incoming or outgoing with reasons call failure, network rejected call, call ended, and also call gets disconnected after 10 seconds of disconnecting the call ie, if a call is disconnected at 50 seconds it gets disconnected at 59 or 60 seconds. Numerous complaints have been made to Idea cellular and no further action is being taken till date.

    The service is very very poor and getting degraded day-by-day and worst customer service is being offered by them.

    I would appreciate if some action is being taken or a new rule sort of thing being implemented of chaning the service provider without chaning the number.

    It gives me immense pain to bring in your kind knowledge and information that I had subscribed for MISSED CALL ALERT PACK on 27th April’09 on [protected] at 11:30 AM by sending M to 51234 and got he subscription confirmation message at 11:31 AM itself but till now I m unable to get the service despite repetitive complaints which may be referred at the end of the letter.

    Sir, I wanna ask you just one thing that what mistake I did by choosing the option and when you deducted the amount from my A/c why till now you are unable to provide me the said service. One thing more I would like to mention that now-a-days when I am asking for the staus of my complain the answer from the customer care executive was that "Due to some technical problem we are unable to give you status of the compain lodged by you, please contact us afterwards." So now I am looking forward for your care and needful attention in this matter.

    Further I would like to ask the policy makers of our country that if someone is not providing the service but charged the amount whether that company is liable in any way to face the criminal proceedings or breach of contract.

    This is not a way that you can reduce money without the approval of customer. Many times I logged the complained against it. In the month of April 30 Rs was deducted from my account even I did not subscribe any pack, I logged a complain against it the complain no is [protected], and your customer care executive assured me that in future no pack will be activated and no amount will be deducted, But again in the month of May 30 rupees has been deducted. As today I speak to your customer care executive Mr. Honey, he said no amount will refund but be assure in future no amount will be deducted.

    HOW CAN I TRUST THAT NO AMOUT WILL BE DEUCTED IN FUTURE AND HOW I WILL GET BACK MY AMOUT.THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I AM PAYING MY 30 RUPEES TO RELIANCE WITHOUT SUBSCRIBING ANY SERVICE??

ACCORDING TO THIS PLAN, CHARGES WOULD HAVE BEEN AS FOLLOWS:

    BUT WE STARTED RECEIVING THE BILLS WITH CHARGE STD RS.1.50, MONTHLY RENT RS.298 & RS.30, CUG RENTAL RS.30/-. Means after paying Rs. 1495 against each phone as advance rental which was duly charged in our bills, they are charging monthly rental and all the above charges from July 2008.

    We have talked to them at least 500 times. Sent them at least 100 meassages. Their senior Executives to the Level of Managers have visited our offices at least 10 times. They collect documents and confirmed that it will be done in the next bills but we are receiving all our bills with same old problems even after one year.

    We are still maintaining our Loyality with Airtel considering that these will be corrected and we deposit all our payments well on time after deducting the rental amount being charged by them. Then instead of correcting the bills, they have started putting penalities for not paying the Rental amount of Rs. 298. We are paying all our useage charges well on time throughout this period and for all bills.

    Ms. ILA, Mr. Prashant Dua & Ms. Vinkee are handling our case from July 2008 and all of them have visited many times our office to verify all records.

    We were not able to come out of the above problem, we landed in another problem because of Mr. Prashant Dua, Busines Manager of Bharti Airtel Ltd.

    We received our Total bills of about 37, 000/= for all phones to be paid till 23rd May’09. Mr. Prashant Dua confirmed in one of his messages that we can adjust 14, 000/ and deposit balance money as a single cheque and it will be adjusted against all our bills. We immediately deposited Rs. 23, 000/= as single cheque along with a letter giving details of all our phone nos. to be credited in individual account well before 23rd May. Their representative came within 15 minutes to our office to collect the cheque and was debited to our account within 2 days by our Bank. But they did not credit even a single Ruppee of that into any of our account. So, the outgoing calls of many of our Managers got disconnected because of this. They are getting the impression that our company (Unicorn) is in bad financial condition that we are not able to pay Mobile bills. But they do not know that It is because of the highly unprofessional and inefficient managers of Airtel, who are not performing their duties properly. I do not know whether it is because of poor staff kept by Mr. Sunil Mittal or his intention to cheat customers like this. As it is we were facing problems of Over billing since July 2008 now this another problem has come where we have paid all the bills on time and still our Managers are getting the message of disconnections because of non payment of bills.

    - We have received our bills of this month where no old corrections has been done.

    - Credit of Rs. 23, 000/= has not been adjusted.

    - Penality has been imposed for non payment of bills.

    - Phones of our managers are being disconnected even after all payments have been done.

    We don’t know what to do now? If any one of you can help us in this matter, please help.

    I am a customer of IDEA. I am using the idea cellular card from more then last 5 Years. I had taken IDEA DIALER TONE package @ Rs.- 30/- per month rental. I am surprising to say that from last 4 Months IDEA making their ADVERTISEMENT WITHOUT my permission at my cost of Rs.-30/-. Every time whenever my friends/ collogues called me first 10 seconds they heard a ADVERTISEMENT from idea then only then after they are able to heard my PAID Dialer tone.

    This is being serious when I heard from IDEA customer care that this ADVERTISEMENT is being endorsed by IDEA Company itself. This is the company’s policy to put down a ADVERTISEMENT at the customer's cost. This is the height of limits. IDEA Company playing with my money and does their marketing.

    Also, when I had complained (twice in last week 19th & 21th June- 2009 ) @ IDEA customer care Ahmedabad & surprisingly no action has been taken by IDEA itself yet now (i.e. on 23/06/2009)

    This is the clear cheating done by IDEA.I want reimburse for 4 Month dialer tone.

    On 30th Night i got dedcuation of 15 rs when i enquired cst care people told i got deducation because of Bollywood Fusion and i had not activated this services. I m already DND ( Do not Distrub ) but still someone did that.

    I am Nitin using Airtel Post paid Mobile service since past two and half years. In the month of May 2009 my Bill came with amount 26519/- which is impossible from my view point. Airtel has assign me a credit limit of Rs 2500 a month. I am surprising that how there system generate bill above the credit limit. and why there sytem is not dectivated my number when the credit limit is crossed.

    Also in that month I have have not used my phone to such great extent and not made any ISD call, still in there Itemised bill it showing one ISD Call. If you check history of past two years my bill never crossed of Rs 1200 /- month.

    I have persistently told the above thing to Airtel but No proper response from there side and they are harrasing my father for the recovery.

    At present I am out of India for my Official work. So I need your help on this matter.

    I am Shahzeb Qureshi working with Vodafone. On 19th Aug 2009 my Brother Sabir Ali received call from Tata Indicom DSA (Voice Telecome Services, Uttam Nagar Branch). Regarding new postpaid no on behalf of existing Tata No. His number is [protected].He is using number from last 2 years. The tele calling executive told him that we will give you plan with Rental-199/- Rs only. All Local Calls @30 paise only. All STD @1 Rupee only and Tata to Tata all local calls free. My brother Sabir saked him give me this plan on my existing Tata Number. she replied me no, this plan is only possible with new connection of TATA. He said OK give me new number but similar to my Vodafone No.[protected]. my brother asked her will i get-[protected]. She replied after confirming her senior mr Rahul Yes we will give you this no.

They always say that VOICE TELECOM SERVICES confirmed you only last 5 digits. And no 1 helping me.
    After putting all the efforts my brother called me for help. I am too working for Stores. Have never done the same with customer. As they are GOD for us. Then how can they behave like this.
    On 24th Aug 2009, some 1 called from same agency to him and said, why you are getting hyper. Matter of only 500/- Rs, will refund you within 45 Days. Is this the way to speak to customer.

    I have been associated with Airtel for the last 9 years with different no’s from my previous organization and my current employer opted for Email billing which is updated on the internet every month.

    I am a BSNL pre paid customer of North East Circile and stayuing at Tura, Meghalaya. On 01.09.09 Bsnl add Assam and North East in the same circle as a result all calls to Assam now become local. I am using Pwer Pack of Rs 130 ( with 0.00 talk time to reduce my call rate BSNL To BSNL 10P/min) but bsnl is deducting Rs 1.20/1.50 bsnl/other while i make a calll to assam. in this regard i have given complints to bsnl customer care on 22.09.09 C/ No 3761090 and on 01.10.09. C/ No.3777089. But till date they are saying " Bohot jald apka problem solve ho jayega sir " but only that much. and till today no action has been taken by them. please check the matter for earlier solution. and also for refund the excess money which is deducted from my account.

    I have idea connection, several times I make tariff recharge when I needed but on 16th oct I recharged of Rs-38/- after that all kind of previous promotional facility is waived off, customer care person says that there is mention that some T&C applicable and you need to talk to us before recharging...If they will say that your property will be mortgagee to idea due to T&C will any kind of T&C should applied...in any way they done loss of Rs-300/- to me.     We are a corporate client's fr Reliance for Last 5 years.We hold total about 80 and add reliance hand phone connections in various locations in india. We used a reliance datacard vide no.[protected], which was disconnected long time back for asking extra deposit, which we refused & infmd about disinterest of paying extra deposit & getting re-connected by same time itself to the particular executive who had contacted for deposit payment. After that atleast 10 times call came fm collection franchisee (they told that it was from Kangayam road office, Tirupur, Tamilnadu) for undue bill payment, we infmd them bills were cleared, due to demand of extra deposit demand we refused the re-connection & told every one of them again to update this infmn in the system.Even after that a person who had contacted 11th time again demanded money, when I was sitting in Mumbai on a important meeting.So, I refused & told him to update & not to disturb again. He had spoke in different way in the phone, I shouted & disconnected the phone. Due to this that collection franchisse has arranged to disconnect my mobile line since from evening 4pm on 24-10-09. After that we contacted a person name called Mr.Kumar/[protected], who had infmd abt how mobile line is de-activated, because of this data card issue and after 3 hours he had given one customer care executive no.[protected], when I contacted him, he attended the phone after 2 time & told that, he is in hospital & wl call back, he has not contacted for 3 hours, after that abt 9.30pm when contacted him again he told that refused to talk or give any customer care executives no. & abroubtly disconnected the connection.
    We are highly disappointed by this activity, where my mobile phone does not have any bills or payment pending, we been forced to pay for data card, which was disconnected from your end for demanding extra deposit also not used by us and infmd many times abt this to repeatedly to collection agent callers

    We are high end users of your network and atleast 25 - 30 thosand rupees we are paying as ph.bill to reliance alone every month.We feel sorry for the thinks happening fm your collection agents of your company. It looks like dhadhagiri collection o[censored]ndue money fm Reliance ADA Group.

    On 25th of November'2009 I got my mobile re-charged with Rupees 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) At 6.20 PM. At about 6.38PM an amount of Rupees 49 was deducted from my balance amount without any reason. I contacted customer care. The custmer care representative informed that the subscription is made by mistke. I requested to debit the subscribed amount to my mobile balance but he told that it can not be done.
    Please do needful to debit my wrongly deducted amount.

    AirTel — arbitrary bills and undesired extra services

    I am an Airtel pre-paid customer having mobile no. [protected]. I had made a similar complaint earlier here:

    Airtel had been providing cricket score updates and charging me for it, though i never asked for such a service. I had lost around Rs. 150 due to it and my balance was depleted.

    A few days after I submitted the complaint, I was informed by airtel that the problem had been fixed. I had recharged by then. But only two or three days after that Airtel started giving me cricket score updates and charging me for it again.

    I am surprised to have this kind of service which makes me pay for what i don't want, and what is more, Airtel is doing this after they confirmed that the error had been corrected.

    Vodafone is charging Rs30- Rs 60 Per month on the account of Value added services with out our concent. These people are thankless and shameless during their conversation. I wrote a strong mail to them this is for your ref.

    We are trying to deactivate the service however after sending message for canceling CAN MCI, we receive the message that you are not active for this service. However there is another message lies in the Message box that says you will charged Rs. 30 on 18th Dec for the usage of service.

    I am sorry to say that I am failed to understand the working of your company. As yours is such a big organization and doing cheap and silly things to increase the profitability. We have tried to reach the customer care team and even after so many communication with them nothing has been happened.

    I would like to request you the following:

    1. We have never asked to activate the spl services or sent messages.
    2. If we take your words and service are activated on our request pl show what benefits we got from these services. We never got any message coming out as an out come of these services.
    3. Since the controls are very less in the prepaid connections the money is deducted swiftly and making fool of the people.
    4. Your process to deactivation of services is tedious so that the people couldn’t easily get rid of these services and pay the unanticipated money to your company.
    5. Why we are receiving so many messages from your company even if we have not asked to do so.

    Even after so many efforts made on your helpline I could not reach any senior person who could satisfy me on my queries. It seems that every thing is planned and people behaving accordingly. It seems that this is a very lucrative business opportunity to your company. As if you have 10 lac subscribers and you active just one service per customer this will earn minimum of 300 lacs of revenue per month with out any effort and investment.

    I am marking a copy of this mail to the TRAI for their information and also forced to file a complaint against your company in finance forgery cell of Police along with consumer forum if not received any proper and satisfied response from your companies senior person’s end in next 15 day’s time of receipt this email.

    i have my two mobile no and my complain is k when i dialled any no in my Reliance cdma and virgin cdma, i found k each time the counter is on since press call button and we are wasting the second till the caller is not pick up the call...means k i i dialled the no and the caller will pick up the call after 30 second then i got only 30 second to talk and the company charger full charge of 60 second on that call..so we have lot of harrasement to call to others and we are loosing our money in waste seconds..so i would like to complain k please take some needful legal action agains the company in this regards and forced them k if any body call to others and when the caller pick up the call then charges should be charge on the pick up so we can get full 60 second time for our money...

    Problem 1:

    Meri caller tune service ka 1 year aaj 13 ko khatam ho gaya hai.

    ye muzhe tab pata chala jab mere a/c se 30 rs. bina informe kiye less kar diye gaye.

    jabki main pichle 3 dino se c.care par call karke one year ka caller tune fir se renew kese hoga, ya sutaible plan pata karna tha.

    par c.care par baat nahi hone k karan muze kafi pareshani ka samna karna pada. mere reatiler ne 3-4 din pahle b ye caller tune ko renew karne ka try kiya par fail ho gaya, bataya gaya ki abhi 3-4 din baki hai, jiske karan mera a/c 200 rs ka full talk time se recharge ho gaya. JO MUZHE NAHI KARANA THA.

    maine 12 tarik ko mere vodafone [protected] number se airtel c.care par call kiya tha, jisme maine mera c.care par baat nahi kar paa raha hu ye btaya. to unhone kaha ki hum request bez dete hai. jald he aap c.care executive se baat kar payenge. PAR aaj 13.1 tak b mere airtel no. se main c.care executive se baat nahi kar paya hu.

    maine pichle 3-4 dino se c.care par baat nahi hone k karan kafi " MANSIK asanti " ka samna kiya hai.

    upar se 3-4 din se main hello tune renew karne ki tension me tha, par c.care se baat na ho payi.

    main chahta hu ki airtel mere ye 30 rs. charge reverse kare jo ki unhone BINA BATAYE mere a/c se less kiye hai. aur muze baataye ki main 1 year ka hello tune ko kese subscribe kar sakta hu.


    Problem 2:-

    AIRTEL KI YE SETTING KI AAP KISI NO. par esi setting kar dete hai ki CUSTOMER C.CARE baat nahi kar pata ye setting bahot galat hai.


    PROBLEM 3 :-

    is bich maine airtel NODEL officer [protected] ko b call kiya par waha se AIRTEL KI AUTOMATIC answaring ayi ki "nodel officer abhi vayat hai, kripya kuch der baad call kare". IS call me meri baat nodel officer ya kisi se b nahi ho payi. balki airtel ki error masafe sunayi di ki abhi vayast hai. fir b is call ka mere a/c se charge le liya gaya, ye calls maine 13.1.2010 ko mere no [protected] se 4 baar ki. (AAP b is no par call karke dekhe apke b paise less honge)




    PROBLEM 4 :-

    mere a/c se roz night me .50 paisa less ho raha hai, me janna chata hu ki ye kis ciz ka charge lag raha hai. jiska jawab koi c.care executive nahi de paya hai.

    I purchased one reliance prepaid connection [protected]and i subbit proper documents, at the time number was activated, since 12.01.10 i got msg from 52811 that your outgoing and incoming both are deactivated, and from that day my number was not working, I informed several times in reliance customer service, they told it took maximam 5 days to activate again just because due to document problem your line was stop, but still now they cant solve my problem infact our local reliance distibutor told me that you through out this sim it has no more use, realy i am very much disappointed to reliance sevice centre and our local reliance distibutor for their misbehave, I want proper feedback, please take action and solve my problem immedately. please do the needful.

    I am a dolphine prepaid customer([protected]). I was seeking to activate GPRS service on my number. I followed all the instructions guided to me by the customer care. but still my GPRS was not activated. When I called up the customer care, they said that they'll activate the service within 24 hours. but today's the 8th day and still the service is not been activated on my number. I follow them everyday and they keep on giving some or the other excuse. Sometimes they say that they are having some problem with their server and sometimes they say that they'll call me within 12 hours and activate the service. but still I haven't received any call from them and my service is not yet been activated. Their services are too slow. Customer care are of no use. My complaint number which I registered with the customer care is: CC[protected] and the complaint number which I registered online is 76625 booked on[protected]:30:17.     i am a realiance GSM consumer from 1st day when it start GSM service in rajasthan. last 3 month realiance start 1 paisa sms service of 11 rupees voucher. i m always recharge sms pack from shop & then company not recharge my sms pack automatically. but this time when i m recharge sms pack from shop & company also send me msg of succesfully msg pack recharged.
    AND the next day company reduces 11 rupees from my balance & give reason auto activate sms pack while i start this service 1 day ago. in this way i pay double money for only one sms service, it's wrong.
    so please return my 11 rupees in my balance that is reduce my balance cause wrong reason.

    Hi,

    I have a reliance number [protected]. Earlier it was postpaid connection. Due to high call charges, I have migrated this to prepaid connection in the month of December’09.
    And I was assured that I would get my security refunded within 45 days if I pay one month advance rent and the entire due amount (at that time).
    I did accordingly but I didn’t get any bill (which stated my call details/advance rent which I paid through Credit Card) of that month. I have visited many times to your Reliance outlet at SCO 80, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh but every time I was treated very badly by Reliance outlet staff. I have lodged a complaint on 2nd of March’10 by calling Customer Care but I shocked to know that my complaint was closed without giving any resolution.
    Now, I would like to need following things for my records and further perusal:

    • That month bill as I believe that you have wrongly charged me at that time.
    • Refund the security with penal rate of interest
    • Compensation as you has mentally harassed me.

    I would request you to kindly do the needful in this in high Priority to settle my Claims & Deposits as its Almost 2 and half months.

    I recharged it with 14 rs. for internet connectivity for 3 days as in your
    advertisement .
    At that time I asked to customer care is this number properly working with
    usb modem and then they said YES and given me setting and it worked with
    very slow speed of 1.6 to 3.6 kbps only 1/2 hour after that i could not
    connect to internet wth this sim for the period as has been mentioned
    in your advertisement ..
    Again just to check out whether gprs was working on this sim or not I
    recharged it with 14 rs . but it did not work .
    I called on 121 but it could not satisfy my queries .
    I called again on number 198 to register my a complaint " how to get a
    connectivity of internet with usb modem " finally when again i called your
    customer care he did not entertained my call properly and behaved rudely
    with me .. and he told me that i can not avail the AIRCEL GPRS through usb
    modem.and not mention in guide provided with sim card.

    My Name in AMOL PATIL am using our BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LTD, prepaid from last 4-5 YEARS, cutting a charges for dilaer tone to my mobile without my demand to the company. I lodged Complaint to the BSNL CUSTOMER CARE dated 10th or 11th March 2010 the complaint no(Docket No.) 3687357. Customer care satisfied me that your dilaer tone will closed after 48 hours. But there is no taking any action by the company. Every time I called customer care the same answer given to me. Between this comnuication I have received message for the company in dated 23/03/2010 that you have successfully chagred Rs.25/- for the purpose of dilaer tone. Then I am again called customer care and filed complaint the same date the complaint no. 3708537 for this reason. And also talked with Senior Officer of customer care (Name not told me), a lady senior officer satisfied me that We will close your serivce and refund your amount. Eventhough I send SMS to the company(UNSUB ALL) to company on the number 56700. Still there is no taking any action against for the closing the said scheme. This is not a way that you can reduce money without the approval of customer. I have all proof which goes against company with me.

    I had been a loyal customer of Airtel for long and figured in their high ARPU (Avg Revenue per Customer) for almost 3 years.
    After getting to hear about Do-not-disturb Registry, I had registered myself there more than two years back. Though unsolicited call / SMS were never stopped but from January 2010 things got even worse and
    many message in a single day became norm. Even night 12, I would not be spared.

    I filed complaint with Airtel and followed up for 3 month by calling them up some where between 20 to 35 times which includes talking to their executive, senior executives to nodal officers as well, but it resulted in nothing.

    I continuously warned them to stop them otherwise I would be forced to abandon my number and they would need to compensate me for the intrusion in my privacy and inconvenience caused but it music to deaf ears.

    Finally, around April I stopped using their services.

    Now, after harassing my by not entertaining my complaint for 3 months and wasting more than 20 hours they have put some rowdy people behind me to extract money from me.

    These guys have accessed my contact list and sending them defamatory message, calling me fraud !! (the first such message was sent to my fiancée !)

    The content of such a message was,

    "Gudmrng
    sir/madam am 4m airtel regarding (GAURAV JAIN) on [protected] am - 6249 He is fraud in airtel. I[censored] know him plz infrm to update the pmt by today."

    Please take appropriate action against the company. I would seek an apology for calling me a fraud in public and appropriate compensation.

After 24 hour i go to relance jamshedpur head office on dated 28.08.2010 on 3.32pm and he register an another complain no[protected] and given me 24 hours time but after that to till date I am facing same problem NO INCOMING, NO OUTGOING, EVEN NO ACTIVATION, on my mobile number,

    Please take this matter on serious way as because i am already very tired from that type of best services which is gone after day after.

    PLEASE SOLVE THIS ISSUE & ACCTIVATE MY MOBILE NUMBER

    i had to deactive that service from my reliance gsm nomber u dedected my account balace of rs 10 even u didnt wave my balance of rs10. why u hv looted my lyk dis even dis service was nt activated frm my side.even more when i talked to ur customer care .no body wanted to help me.even i have recored all those voice calls even ur manager didnt want to taLK to me every single call was disconnectd.no one behave me like i m calling to cust care.now i m sending an email to trai .I need my unjustly deducted balance of rs 10.is this ur customer service?

    Initially wen i bought dis no i had faced some problems of balance deduction because 2-3 times my balance got deducted because of no reason...and dis time also Rs. 30 from my account get deducted and wen i contacted the customer care they said that "i have applied for job pack"...and the time at which this service got activated is 10:40:33 A.M as told by them...but at this specified time i was in sonepat (haryana)...and i have not applied for any service and also i haven't got any call from reliance...
    So please refund my balance...

I've made complaint with reliance CCare many times, but there was no resolution. Still I'm getting that unwanted commercial SMSs. My mobile model is LG3100, in that model mobile SMS capacity is just 30 for Inbox, so that unwanted sms my inbox got filled my important business related Msgs got deleted. So I'm getting lose of many things in my business and job. So I humply request you pls take necessary action against this issue.

    The new TRAI ruling limiting SMS's to 100 per day is totally uncalled for and puts the entire 16-35 year in a spot of bother by not letting people communicate with each other as SMS has always been the primary and most preferred mode of communication between family n friends
    This new trai law is a major problem for the entire student community. Sms is a major way of communication for the younger generation. this law should immediately be vanished.
    ya dis law is very iritating...

    goverment and rules are to serve the people and for its wellbeing...

    not to torture and hurt people
