I purchased a Lenovo P780 from amazon.in on 01/07/2014 having S/N: HB020EGZ and imei 1: [protected] imei 2: [protected].
The phone was working well till october 2015 and then it started creating trouble, it got network issue and charging problem, the phone used to stay always low on signal and the phone was not charging when it is power on, only when it was turned off then only it was charging.
I talked to Lenovo Service Center in Dhanbad, and they told me to submit your mobile so they can look into the problem, I gave them handset on 05/10/2015 and got receipt having serial no. 2204.
They told me to talk after 2 days as they will find out the cause of problem, After 3 days when i asked about my phone's status they told that we need to change the Motherboard of your phone and will cost you 7500rs approx, since the amount was too much to repair the phone, i said that i m ok with my phone so please return back my phone as i do not want to repair my phone. They told me to come next day and recieve your phone.
Next day when i was there to get my phone back they refused to return saying your phone was opened by our Engineer and he has not packed the phone and he is on leave today. So come tomorrow and get your phone, I waited for two days and talked to them they said your phone is ready, come and get that, again when i reached there they refused again saying that we forgot to tell the Engineer to pack mobile, so kindly come after a week, as it will take time and our Engineer is very busy.
After a week again after getting confirmation over the phone call i went to the center and they replied same like before. I was completely clueless that what is going on with my phone and why they are not returning my phone back.
Well after a week when i talked to them they told that your phone's switch is lost by our engineer so give us some time we will order your switch button and will return your phone as it was before.
I waited and called them 2 times in a week to know my phone's status but they always tell we will get courier on monday so talk on monday evening, when i call them they says i got some courier and we are searching your product so give us a week to repair the phone. And after the week they say your item was not in the courier so wait for next monday.
And the same thing is going on till last 05/10/2015.
So i need to ask whether i will get my phone back ever?
4 months are sufficient time to get the courier or order a switch which was lost due to their own engineer's fault.
I am having no phone since 4 months and facing lot of difficulties.
There behaviour is very bad whenever i say that i will complain about this, they say do whatever u want to do, or file a F.I.R, we dont have problem with that. I am frustrated from last 4 months so i thought to write to you.
