I was admitted in Hospital Ramzania Health Center on date 14-Jan-2022 for illness of ACUTE SEVERE BREATHLESSNESS issue in lung.
I have allready full-fill all criteria of claim of my health Insurance and provided all original copy to Insurance company and company againt ( Mr. Sunil Kumar ) mob.- [protected] approch to me for verify claim and we provided all necessary documents to him and he satisfied after that againt demand some amount of Rs 5000 for approval of claim other-wise he told me that i reject the claim, I didn't gave money and he rejected my claim with given wrong reason.
I have request you to provide me Claim amount of my insurance.

          Inspite irda guidelines onMEDICAL EXPENSES INCURRED UNDER TWO POLICY PERIODS
          If the claim event falls within two policy periods, the claims shall be paid taking into consideration the available sum insured in
          the two policy periods, including the deductibles for each policy period. Such eligible claim amount to be payable to the insured
          shall be reduced to the extent of premium to be received for the renewal/due date of premium of health insurance policy, if not
          received earlier.
          My mother is hospitalised but no replies on cashless approval in renewed policy period.

            Payment did not processed and it’s been more than a month
            Painful to reach insurance company for update
            Reached more than 12 times and they come up with update as ( work in progress)

              Honourable sir, i lost my vehicle tn05bb3535 during the year 2018 and submitted my papers to united india insurance co ltd, they had not settled the claim yet, it is requested that the complaint may be registered and compensation for the losses may be issued at the earliest

              the losses are the actual amount of claim for loss of vehicle

              the pain of not disbursing the claim for past 4 years, the loss incured by spending over the hiring of car for the use of my daughter who was continiously ill since her birth,

                My father expired and had an accidental insurance policy but we didn't knew about it and intimated 10 day after the one month period and they repudiated our claim for that.You have a liability to pay accidental claim settlement.Resolve my issue or else we will complaint to consumer court

                  Hi Team,

                  One of my insurance claims[protected] submitted in Jan 2022 was approved and ready for settlement on Feb 15th, has been in the same state and has not been settled to date and there is no ETA as well.

                  Request you to kindly take this into regard and provide a resolution. I have tried contacting the MediAssist team and all they say is a technical problem just for me. I have been following them up regularly but no use.

                  As you know during the health issues, the settlement might be needed promptly else there is no meaning in obtaining the health insurance.

                    HH[protected] Claimed some amount but paid partial without any information. Even after that personally followed multiple times to get breakup for payment claim. That much worst behavior of insurance

                          I am not a directly affected party here. On my email id I receive someone else's communication about their UIIC policies. This is most likely because somewhere someone has wrongly quoted the email id. It could be that the names may be same and there's a small typo error in recording email.

                          Once I came to know about this, I looked for the customer care email id o[censored]IIC and informed them about this communication coming to wrong email id.
                          I also asked them to contact their actual customer and get the correct email id recorded in their system.

                          While I am not affected, someone from their policyholders is affected and they are not getting the intended communication. Instead I receive it.

                          Despite of my repeated requests, UIIC is not doing anything and I still continue to receive someone else's communication!!
                          It might result into customer dissatisfaction. I have no direct business with UIIC here anyhow.

                                  COMPLAINT
                                  I bought my 1st Mediclaim Insurance Policy No. 120100/48/11/37/02367/98 for my wife & myself for the period 1/7/98 to 30/6/99 from UIICo. Ltd. Till 17/07/2018 I renewed it every year without fail. In 2019 my wife's and in 2020 my premium doubled!

                                  In 20 years WITH NO INTIMATION OR JUSTIFICATION by UIICo or my Agent:
                                  -1 policy became 2
                                  -policies got converted to Individual Health Plan(IHP) for my wife & Individual Mediclaim Policy(IMP) for me
                                  -last year IMP was withdrawn forcing me to change to IHP & Mumbai Divisional Office 2 REFUSING to convert our 2 policies into a single Family Medicare Policy(FMP).

                                  Last year I could communicate with UIICo Mumbai Divisional Office[protected] by email only as we were stranded in US due to Covid. Our renewals are due on 10th & 12th August. Due to UNAFFORDABILITY on 19/7/21 I again emailed DM-M2 to depute a Development Officer to help reconvert our policies into a single FMP or reduce SA/premium but there is NO RESPONSE. I followed up with WhatsApp messages to DM's Mobile No. [protected] on Monday 26th & still get NO RESPONSE.

                                  I cannot contact the Divisional Office who have given INVALID 8 digit Tel.Nos.in their emails. Now I don't know whether I can revert back to a single FMP or renew my wife's & my policy with reduced SI again this year just like last year.

                                  Perhaps it may be better to forget about Mediclaim Insurance just like so many citizens of the country who CAN'T AFFORD INSURANCE and continue to live the rest of our lives with the graceful will of God.

                                        Claim no.Un-6-2422.1, name : sanjay rungta.
                                        Health policy no.052400/28/20/p101/098961.
                                        We had submitted a reimbursement claim of rs.79205 on 06/05/2021,
                                        we have submitted pre, post and in hospitalisation bills of total 79205 in which pre and post hospitalisation total was 45345 and in hospitalisation amount was 33860(which includes plasma therapy).

                                        Whereas the amount reimbursed is only rs.50000/- which is not according to the policy terms.We can claim upto 10% of sum insured for pre and post hospitalisation expense, where as there is no such clause for cover of in hospitalisation expense.
                                        The patient required plasma therapy as a part of treatment and plasma was not available in hospital as that hospital doesn't has blood bank. As per doctors advice and prescription we bought plasma from outside and the same was given to the patient. And i have informed the same to safewaytpa through a mail in which they replied that plasma therapy is payable if supported by doucments or doctor prescription, .I have sent all the supporting documents, so you cannot deny such claim. As per policy terms we can claim actual amount incurred for in -hospitalisation expense.I request you to kindly look into the matter and reimburse according to the terms.
