[Resolved] Via.com — Ticket cancellation issues | |||||
Hi, I booked tickets from Mumbai to Hyderabad for travel on 26-Jun-2016 on AirIndia using VIA.COM. The Airlines has rescheduled the flight delaying it by more than 10 hours. This does not suit my requirement. So I requested VIA.COM to cancel my ticket. They insisted that they cannot cancel my ticket. They asked me to approach AIRINDIA for cancellation. When I approached AIRINDIA, they said they cannot cancel as the tickets were booked through a booking agency and not with them directly. I am in a fix wasting more than Rs. 22K. Neither parties are ready to cancel the tickets. Moreover, VIA.COM does not provide any guidelines on the cancellation policy on their website. This is really absurd. I had booked my flight ticket through via.com with pnr:-S2SL6J on 20th March on Air Asia. As my flight was cancelled, I asked for refund from air Asia. They refunded it back but still via.com need to refund it back to me since my money was refunded to via.com as I had booked through it. I even tried contacting customer care but there was no response and even at [protected]@via.com. I tried contacting customer care
and I waited for more than 2 hours. So it will be a great help if it is refunded back to my account.
