Complaint about via.com web portal

I tried to make a reservation for dubai to kochi return / sharjah to trivandrum return for dates 02 august 2018 and return on 31 august 2018. It displays a fare but does not allow to complete the reservation. This is happening for the last 10-15 days. If this was a technical glitch it should have been rectified, even today the same fares show up. Don’t know where to contact.

I need all to take notice of the below and bring this to the notice of all customers about how online web portals cheat customers by luring them to their website by displaying cheap fares and not allowing to complete their booking. Being an nri, we always look to purchase tickets on the cheapest fare available. This is really cheating. Fares displayed for more than a couple of weeks now, but to no avail. No contact number given for their uae address, only email address, that itself is a fraud, as no response being received. This is the address shown on their portal:

I did call their call center on 03/03/2018 at around 11:50 am (Uae time) and spoke to an agent by the name of kiran. He too confirmed that your portal shows the fares as per my attached screenshots which were sent to them on daily basis. He couldn’t help further, was advised to send email. No numbers to contact. I did call them again on 04/03/2018 and surprisingly the call was answered by their security named sekhar i guess, who took my contact number and said someone will call back. No response.

In spite of several emails sent no positive response received yet. This is customer service at its worst.

I need to book flights for the fares displayed in their web portal for the last couple of weeks. Proof of screen shots can be provided on request.

I need somebody to contact me from their side and help me confirm the bookings as per the fares displayed. It’s really frustrating for a customer to waste his time and effort just to confirm a flight reservation for such a long period of time.

Fraudulent activity from their side by displaying cheap fares in your web portal just to lure customers to your website.

All proof of can be provided - i have kept all screen shots day wise.

Hoping that someone will take notice and help out.

    This is only 300 thb for 2 guests. I booked everything corrently and paid already. It took a while to get my booking code. They already took my money and left me no choice unless paying more. If i would have known from the beginning, i would not book with their site. I would prefer to book with the airline website directy. I saw it cheaper. That was it. Then they would not give me booking code unless i paid more

      I was trying to book a last minute flight with via.com and their system sent me a booking that is not confirmed. But not knowing that they have booked me another ticket which i don’t know of and charged me an amount of money. I was asking them to refund as i didn’t get the booking and i didn’t even take the flight. But they kept responding to me with different agents with same questions. And no resolution being given. I kept asking them where can i call to resolve the issue and they just ignore my questions.

        Hi!
        I have been informed that my booking is cancelled on 14th dec and refund will be process. However, i still haven't receive the refund after 2 weeks. Booking reference are fmnsg103qzbaow and fmnsg103qz8cc0

        I have called my local bank for verification and apparently it is via.com still holding the payment and not yet refund. Kindly do the necessary before police report is lodge as i am highly suspect this whole website is a scam!!

          On 06.12.2017 at about 6-55 p. M i purchased bus ticket from kolkata, w. B to maldah w. B with return journey amounting to rs.1064.88 through your website for manoroma travels bus journey through net banking. But i regret, despite being debited the amount from my bank a/c, no confirmation of booking displayed/received except some error message of faulty transaction.
          Therefore, kindly refund back the amount direct to the debited a/c and oblige.

            Have been following up with via.com for the udf refund which the government had declared sometime in july. The airlines were supposed to return the excess udf for the travel bookings done on or prior to 7th of july for travel dates after 7th of july'17. One one hand via.com did not refund the same on their own and insisted on me claiming the same. Thereafter, the mail was sent to via.com on 23rd oct'17 and till date not even a single refund has come till date despite regular follow-ups.

              Via.com \flight raja has many fraud agents and cheated many people in the name of job. Beware. A fraud agent keejal vishal shah agent id frag3527073 shreeji international has accounts name of flight raja [protected] banglore mg road branch ifsc icic0000002, saale chore. I have sent money 20k to his account. Now the agent is saying no money paid to us. Even flight raja did not help us. He has many accounts

                Horrible borderline fraudulent travel company. Would not recommend.

                They tried to charge me more money after the booking was complete. I declined and asked for the booking to not be completed. They charged me anyways.

                  I have used it to book bus tickets. And the experience was pathetic. Never ever use via.com or you will regret it. I used it to book a bus from goa to pune, india and i booked the ticket one month in advance. Received confirmation, seat no. And all. On the day of journey there was no bus on the stand, i called them and they told me that that bus doesn't run on that route since past few months.

                  So basically i was standing alone on goa bus stand at night with no reservations and as it was 2nd oct 2017 (Long weekend) so rest other buses were also full. After standing there for 3 hours i got a bus with triple fare for a last seat ticket (Last seats are pathetic to use).

                  Also they haven't even refunded me for that cancelled ticket. Since last 10 days i am following up with there customer support and they have only single response "we are working on your query and will get back to you soon".

                    I booked Hotel in Delhi by Via.com, paid for two nights while booking. It was 1.30am I reached hotel and receptionist informed me my booking is cancelled. I tyried to reach all contact numbers of Via given in Email as Emergency numbers but no one received phone.

                    Then I booked again form same night and paid for once night. But booking is done for next day. I immediately approach Via to cancel this booking and refund for both bookings. Via didn’t have working call center at mid night. So I called OYO Rooms and immediately they arranged me a hotel in same area. Thanks for OYO for you help and support in the mid night when VIA.com took my money and went for sleep.

                    Not this is third day I am I still bagging for refund.

                    VIA.com is cheater, please don’t use it.

                      My name is vijay and booked 4 upper cabin sleeper seats in a video ac bus from karta to delhi and boarding time is 6 pm from katra.
                      But what i got is third class bus without charging and video and no lights complete dark in bus. The seat was given to me was lower sleeper while i booked upper cabin sleeper. The bus stopped at a 'chai ki dukan' which they were calling restaurant where no water in washroom was there driver told my wife to pee on road how shameful.
                      And worst of all bus start it's journey at 11 pm. 5 hours late can you believe it.

                      I want my refund or i will consult with my lawyer.

                        I am Kalburgi, booked ticket from Pune to Hubli by via.com/flightraja travels on 26 may 2017, confirmation only thru SMS but no sticker, but time time shows in email 10pm, actual departure was 8 pm neither bus operator sv nakoda nor via.com called up to me for confirmation, when I spoke to operator sv nakoda they said to me bus was at 8pm, they are not ready to refund my amount, both are cheater to customer sv nakoda and via.com.it is better to be black listed in bus booking as well as travels sv nakoda.

                          I booked a flight ticket in via.com and my booking details fmn25nf68ei. I booked a ticket on 31st march for 11th april date of travel. I got a message from airlines that flight has got cancelled due to technical issue on 8th april. And i booked another flight for my travel. Till now i did not get refund. Airlines is telling tat they gave refund to via.com. Via.com says they did not get amount from airlines and hence it ll take time. But they are not ready to give a clear tine frame. Plz help me to get the refund. Customer care executive did not give a proper reply.

                          I booked a flight ticket from Goa to Agartala in via.com and my booking reference details FMNLA3BQNCPAF. I booked a ticket on 21st march 2020 for which I paid Rs. 11079/- in the name of Aman Choudhary. After receiving booking reference. I print booking reference in which its shows that " your reservation could not be completed. Any amount charged for booking has been refunded. If you are using Credit card then the refunded amount will be reflected in your card within 3 working days.
                          Please refund my amount at the earliest as possible as. I am facing very hardship.

                          I booked my flight through via.com on (26 feb )my flight got cancelled due to covid situation.I thought all my money safe in credit shell of respective airline(Indigo).But I got to know that indigo refund money to via.com and I didn't have any information on that.

                          Now I am not able to contact via, All the number available on web not reachable and my trip I need to reschedule because its vacation trip and I spend a lot of money around 29k.

                          Please refund my money asap I am facing a lot of issue for this.

                              Hi,

                              I have booked tarkarli tikets from via.com for 23rd feb. prn no. is fmn23bcloq4. ticket was booked one week advanced and i have received all confirmatiions too.

                              Today bus operator (gangeshwar travels) called up and informed that you dont have confirmed tickets and you need to check with portal wherein you booked this tickets.

                              Trying to contact via.com from last 3 hrs they are not responding. on chat also they reverted back on first msg but after i stated my concern there is no response.

                              I have booked hotel and water sports package based on this booking confirmation and now bus operator is saying no due to disputes with via.com. i will suffer loss of around 15000/-rs.in such case & site authority is not responding at all.

                              Either they shall provide me alternate bus or arrange for compensation for all bookings done.

                                Punjab national bank adarsh colony tingri Nagar PUNE Maharashtra I would like to draw AT LEAST YOUR ATTENTION on a very serious topic keeping in mind that you will consider my plea.
                                On 7th December, 2016, I booked an air ticket from via.com. through Priya Travels Mangalore ENROUTE Mangalore-Mumbai-Udaipur and the amount was Rs.9924/- and when I entered my debit card details the amount was swiftly and quickly deducted from my account but what a shame that the ticket wasn't confirmed. So being a responsible citizen, I know some faults take place so I waited, waited for 1 day in hope that my money would automatically get transferred to my account, but little did I know what it has for me. When I did not get the refund I lodged a complaint i called the bank customer care and they informed that my money will be refunded in 45 days, I was glad atleast I have some information right in hand. So being a responsible citizen, I did my duty and waited, waited for 45 days despite the crises I was in. And I was happy when I got a message that the refund transaction was successful, but there is more to it, I did not get any money.
                                So then, after not getting refund, I contacted the company and they sent me booking I'd number FMN1ZAE32GY and ARN Number 30001063596342097002968 (ATTACHED FILE)
                                And asked me to contact my bank for the refund I did it again.
                                So, the bank informed that you need to wait for another 45 days. As you know the time was of demonetisation, I am already using cashless criteria and I am the one who's harassed. Harassed because its been 70 DAYS, WHAT WILL I DO? So, I contact the HEAD BRANCH of PNB, New Delhi on this number[protected] and send them mail also at [protected]@pnb.co.in
                                And they said they would take forward my issue. When the bank contacted the company, the company sent a HDFC BANK STATEMENT IN WHICH THE TRANSACTION WAS SUCCESSFUL AND I DON'T GET IT WHETHER THE FORM WAS OF HDFC Or PNB. (File attached)
                                WHAT I REQUEST YOU TO DO PLEASE PRIORITISE THIS MATTER AS I want to know that who and which bank is at fault here as I've been really harassed for this. Help me out, put things into place because this is very serious issue even when I've been a good citizen of INDIA following every NEW RULE properly. My amount is either in the account of via.com or PNB and please find out who's doing fraud here. And company told me Rather than helping out the via company suggests that Rupay card service is not good as according to them the national banks do not understand the online criteria and faces more problem and that I should change and opt for MasterCard or Visa.

                                  Iam writing my feedback on this platform with huge disappointment & regret that I chose Via.com for my travel requirements. Me & my wife has been following up with via.com's not so proactive team for the refund of our cancelled tickets. (details appended below). I had to cancel my travel programme as I was hospitalised a day before my scheduled travel date. My wife called via.com customer care to cancel our Del-Goa (PNR No. G61LYV) & Goa-Del tickets (PNR CH84RD) on 29th Nov as there is no option of cancellation on there app through which I booked the tickets & she was asked to send a mail in this regard. I send the mail to cancel the tickets while I was on hospital bed on 29th Nov at 17:10 PM (apprx. 17 hrs before scheduled departure), however to my surprise we were told later that our onward flight (PNR G61LYV) was considered as no show as we ddnt revert on your mail to confirm cancellation charges, however we clearly mentioned in our first mail that we understand that there will be cancellation charges & we accept the same as same was communicated by the service team agent. Also, via.com team never informed us that they will be playing mails games with us to cancel our tickets. Later my wife spoke to there service team again & they assure us that they will take care of this matter & will let her speak to a senior person once they investigate on the matter & post checking all call recordings, which off course never happened.
                                  On 5th Dec I received a message from your via.com that onward ticket (G61LYV)is now cancelled. If the onward ticket was considered as no show then why I never received any communication on no show & received the communication on cancellation only on 5th Dec.

                                  I, ve been communicating with the via.com team on mail, however there is no satisfactory revert from service team & I was also told that they will further investigate on this matter & check the recordings to revert in 48 hrs, however I've been waiting for a revert for last 10 days now & there is no revert other than the old excuses that we tried to call you & your calls went unanswered. They are not ready to share the time of call & call details.

                                  I even asked the via.com team to share the escalation matrix almost 12 days back & mentioned the same in all followup mails, however they are still silent on this small request.

                                  Also, I had to followup with your via.com for almost 20 days to get the refund & later I was told that refund is processed for GOA-DEL (PNR CH84RD) only as our onward flight was considered as now show despite of sending a written communication to cancel the tickets 17 hrs before scheduled departure. I asked for the details of deduction which off course I never got.

                                    This is with regards to cancellation of flight FMN1XEXXTNO
                                    I booked two tickets through via.com from Delhi to hyderabad for the 24th of November, due to personal reasons I couldn't fly on the 24th of November so I postponed my tickets for th 6th of December. This modification was done directly through the airlines website. I wanted to cancel the ticket so I called via.com for the cancellation they said that they needed an endorsement copy from the airlines. So I called the airlines, they said that via.com can mail them and they will send the endorsement copy to them. But for the past 15 days via.com has been harassing me and they won't mail the company and process my refund.
                                    Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible!

                                        I have booked a sleeper bus from Delhi to Allahabad, but at the time boarding bus owner told me there is no such sleeper bus is available so you have to go by 2/2 seating and the behavior of the bus owner is very rude.
                                        At the time of booking pickup point is Akshardham at 7.30 pm on Fri, 28 Oct 2016 and drop Allahabad at 6am Sat, 29 Oct 2016. But bus reached Akshardham at 11 pm and reached Allahabad on 1pm because of this I missed my train from Allahabad to Patna at 9.40am.
