I booked a flight through via.com (Booking id:- fmndf2sady8ay) in august. They had wrong information about baggage allowance on the site. So even though the price was higher than other sites, i booked the ticket from via as i need 30 kg allowance.

Later they said it has only 10 kg, and asked me to purchase 10 kg extra, and they confirmed that they will refund my extra baggage allowance.
It has been 4 and half months, i had 22 emails with them, sent my bank details, but never received a refund.
Now they don't even reply back to me. I have all my emails and screenshots as proof.

This is worst customer service even i have faced. I bought so many tickets from via, and one fault from their end, and they are not willing to resolve it for past 4 months.

    "As my discussion with Via executive and SpiceJet executive in afternoon

    PNR no. EG5UHE for SpiceJet

    As per via itinerary my flight timing is from delhi to Ahmedabad 18:45 pm in evening refer attached ticket of via.com

    But as per SpiceJet for same PNR ticket is for Morning 6:20 am refer attached ticket

    Via.com and SpiceJet have different database for same ticket and I am stuck up in between both of you.

    Since SpiceJet have not my ticket for evening Hence have to book ticket from another airlines Goair 40, 066 INR, refer attached ticket

    I need this money which I have to additionally pay 40, 066. From afternoon i am moving from pillar to post like a victim o[censored]r internal miscommunication. Do needful immediately

    It is Via/SpiceJet's mistake How come via and SpiceJet showing two different itineraries. None of you is taking responsibility

    Do needful for additional money which I have to incurred because o[censored]

    Last two days I am trying to call them, but their executives are transferring my email from here to there, only received a email from Ms. Sushma that she will revert back, but nobody is turning back.
    I gave no of time reminder but no response.

      This is bring in your notice that on 10/10/2018 i have booked ticket for yerevan (Aremenia). From new delhi to yerevan for my three friends. But unfortunately ticket was not done but the amount got instantly deducted from my account. I have booked the ticket through my sbi debit card (Visa). When i have contacted to your customer care number the via.com representative told me it will be resolved within 48hrs. Otherwise it will take 10-15 days of time and for this regards the representive advice me to contact my bank atm section. Yesterday i have been to my bank. But they were not showing any possibility to refund this amount. The atm section in charge told me that this is not our service bench but the company itself. I really got pissed off after going through his staright forward statement. Kindly check the details below

        Hi sir,

        I have booked a ticket as on 20.10.2018 for 21.10.2018 from tirupati to hyderabad using via.com and received the ticket to mobile as well as mail. The travel name is "dhanunjaya travels (Hyd)".

        I have booked it for my brother "ravi konnipati"

        Ticket cost is 1210 rupees.

        After few hours, i have received a message saying the bus is cancelled.
        Tried reaching to the number given in the ticket and one was switched off and the other one was related a different travel service called kaleswari.

        Called via.com customer care numbers and got shocked with their response.
        They says that, send an email and will look into which is pathetic.

            I have booked a flight through via.com/ flight raja travels on 12th sep-18 with the booking reference no. Fmnae1018l8cww flydubai flight for 16-sep-18 from hyderabad to dubai. On the same day (12-sep-18) i have cancelled my ticket and informed their team via email. Upon their confirmation i have requested for refund and via.com has made false promises since then and until now has not refunded any amount. I'm extremely shocked at their approach of deceiving me and not refunding my amount.
            The refund amount is aed 1, 020 and approximately inr 20, 000

            Appreciate if you can look into this and help me with the refund at the earliest.

              I have proceed a ticket from coimbatore to bhubaneswar on 28th august, wherein an amount of rupees eight thousand seven hundred ninety two has been debited from my account through debit card in favour of ebix travels without any performance. Your customer service assured me to refund the amount immediately. But so far no refund is made. I am waiting to get my money back.

                Hi, via people are cheater. I booked a tickets for round trip bangalore to delhi and delhi to bangalore. It was clearly mentioned there refundable but when i asked for refund out of 13000 they are providing only rs 150. What the hell it is. Never book through via these people are cheater. My tickets pnr are tzj69k and q5rzkp. How come it will be possible that out of 13000 i will get just 150 where rest 12k will go. Who will bear this. Via is just doing fraud.

                    While booking, the website indicates the tickets will be issued with in 3 to 5 hrs. After my payment of nearly 1.98 lacks debited to my bank account for 2 tickets now they say the pnr process was aborted and the refund is processed. The worst part is it is mentioned now it may take 7 to 9 working days to get it credited to my account.

                    I have responded to their mail, "fmnaf2qmxnbg1 aborted and refund status mail" as below:

                    Its a pity my amount is getting locked for nearly 2 weeks including holidays and the worst is i trusted via.com and ended up unable to go for booking by other options too for the want of funds.
                    Well, when the web site says tkts will be issued 3 to 5 hrs and there are other conditions entered like cabin luggage and tkt cancellation etc., it doesnot speak about refund lead time, should the pnr process was unsucessful.
                    I have burnt my fingers already. Let via.com be frank in their ability in full filling their trusted customer needs.

                    Once the payment was accepted and the amount was debited from my account how it is justified to call a process "aborted"? Only via.com should answer without prejudice.

                    Now, i am left with no option keeping fingers crossed till i get my money back. Further, these 10 days waiting period to get my funds and then go for other option to buy the required product, an airline ticket, will i be successful? Is a damage done to me by via.com simply caz, i trusted their services.

                    Its a pity the failure is my funeral and i wonder how via.com would substitute this. A simple "sorry" is it a trade trick or the heartfelt condolence? It is god only knows.

                    Unquote:

                    The purpose of this email is travel agents service to their customers should ease the difficulties. I stead, they lock their trusted customers funds and put them into more problems. Further, they should be held responsible once they accepted the payment for the product. If they fail to deliver the product they should be penalised and should compensate for the losses they created to their trusted customers.

                    A cashless economy should it grow and if online transactions are to be encouraged such difficulties faced by common man are to be taken care. Will our prime minister and our digimitaries look into solving such tricky issues? We hope for the better.

                      Self has booked a bus ticket through this online company via.com on 17th april-2018 from pondichery. The booking site has shown all clear availability of seats in one of the bus and taken credit money online. Within 15 minutes there was a call from their customer service saying the bus has been cancelled and refund arrangement will be made. But no action has been made by them.

                      Later on when i reviewed the credentials of the company, i was shocked to learn that this company has been cheating public on several similar cases.
                      The below sms / email message giving the booking abort was received within minutes after the booking.

                          I had booked a flight through via.com on 14th may, 2018 and the transaction got terminated and the money was deducted from my account. I had registered complaint to both the bank and via.com but both are telling me that there is a mistake from the other side. Moreover the via.com is giving me date upon date for the refund and telling me to send the bank statement after the period given. When i mail the statement they gave me the excuse about the wrong bank statement. Kindly help me in solving this

How do i update the flight details and would it affect my flight? Please return to me asap because i’ve emailed this issue to your customer support email a few months back and no one have gotten back to me since then.                                 On 14 april 2018 i had booked a flight ticket (Air india) from bagdogra to delhi through via.com at flight raja on same day. An amount of rs. 8770 has successfully deducted against my booking. But no confirmation or sms received by me against my booking.in the afternoon a agent call me and told that the fare has been increased and you have paid some extra money from your booking. I had replied why should give extra money for my booking, i already paid rs 8770 against my booking. He replied but your booking is not confirmed if you not paid extra money. Then i have told to her to refund my money back. But after lapse of 15days no refunds receive by me

                                  What is the status of my amount of 16735 rs which i booked for 14 april. I raised a complaint to refund the amount till date i have not received any. My pnr no is ak1mte, please check & refund as soon as possible. Refund the amount or u will have to pay me with interest. I had booked a flight ticket from delhi to bangalore dated 14 april 2018, immediately i had to change the date to the month of may. But still i have not received any of the reply or amount. Since you have already got your booking charges so you have no Wright to retain my hard earned money with you for such a long period as indigo has made refund on 4/9/20.

                                    Yesterday night i have book bus ticket in naraynamoorthy travels for 4 passengers from chennai to coimbatore they said due to technical issue they can't able to book ticket then i received a call he said money will refunded to u..                                       During booking of flight ticket on via.com from guwahati to agartala on 22.03.2017 an amount of rs 2651.00 has been debited from my sbi account through net banking vide transaction ref. No. Igadebebl7 on 22-march, 2018 at 15:35 hrs. But no flight ticket has been received from the via.com.

                                        Had booked my tickets on via.com on 31dec17 and carrier was air canada.

                                        Travelling from chicago (Ord) to new delhi (T-3) via toronto canada

                                        The website provided tickets for returning from chicago to new delhi via canada (Toronto). However, the website did not provide any information about transit visa requirement for passing through canada. No such information was provided both on the website or on ticket provided.

                                        Owing to above, i could not travel via the ticket issued. Very unprofessional support team at via.com did not even help in guiding. They washed off their hands saying that they have no idea. They did not help with cancellation and refund. It was very stressful last 18 hours. Finally had to book a new ticket in air india on emergency basis and hence hiked up fares

                                        Website must compensate for the harassment done and strict disciplinary action is requested on the website so that no other passenger gets harassed the same way. Other travel websites (Makemytrip.com, etc.) provide all these required information about transit visa requirement.

                                        There is no response from via.com. This is understandable. They are expert in avoiding customer issues. I have paid INR 1, 20, 000 for to and fro travel and I was not able to use my return ticket because of their mistake. Repeated attempts to contact them turned futile as they simply denied any help. This is frustrating service, loss of big amount for me and mental harassment in a foreign country.

                                        Need urgent help in getting my money back. Otherwise, I will not hesitate in moving to consumer court.
