Hello, I have a D2h tv connection at my home in that we have a basic package of 99/-Rs and if anyone need other channels they can add it through "add on channels".Here the problem is while i'm trying to remove add on from my account it is not taking so i requested them to delete it but they were saying we can not do that because the package was changed. I just need the basic package if i want any other i will add or i will choose something else. There is a basic package in the Videocon d2h but they were not removing "add on package" from my account, 'i just need the basic package for now'.

We would like to inform you that you are having d2h flexi pack in your subscription and two add are compulsory with d2h flexi pack furthermore subscriber cannot remove these 2 add-on once downgraded however can change to other add-on post lock-in.     Dear service provider,
    Please note that since last one month I am not able to see more of channels in my D2H set of box like no movie, no news, no social channel too.

    I was tried to connect your customer care but always busy tone received or not connected.

    Yesterday one of your customer care executive told me that if you want to resume your service again then Rs200/- need to pay extra as service charge.

    Now please clear one thing that if I have paid already Rs1400/- for 30~35 channel (Including movie, news, social etc. as per my package) then why again need to pay for the same.

    Please think if you are the customer of D2H service and you may force to pay Rs200/- for same service again & again then what you feel or what you can do.

    AS PER MY THINKING THAT D2H HAVING PROCEDURE TO CHEAT THE CUSTOMER THAT FIRST TAKE Rs1400~200/- FOR SERVICE RECHARGE THEN DISCONNECT AND ASK FOR Rs200/- FOR RESUME.

    IS IT NOT A FRAUD TO CUSTOMER?

    I am facing absolutely same problem. When I opted for 1600 rs 6 month plan, services for many basic channels stopped after a month, and now Videocon executive s asking to raise complaint for engineer visit and compulsory 200 charges.

    This is CHEATING AND FRAUD. I WILL NEVER SUGGEST PEOPLE TO GO FOR VIDEOCON D2H again.

    5 star by mistake. It is zero star..
    I have been customer for four years, same happened to me yesterday. I was getting an error, after complaint they asked "engineer will visit you and charges will be applicable in case of any defective part". engineer visited and pull and reinsert the card and asked for service charge 200/-. I really got surprised to listen this, 200 for what and warranty is only 1 month. Though I logged complaint, but I think they will not respond. D2H is now cheating the customers.

    I am getting an error "please insert smart card propely" and no channels are displayed. It's just showing a blank scree. This is a service issue and why should I pay 200 Rs for the visit ?? The company should bare the visit if their services aren't working OK. I am notlw going to charge the vendor.

    Even the same thing happened to me..
    All of suddenly it message came has no signal..

    But I was surprise to see the add channels where coming.. so I thought it's not the issue with signal..

    Then I contacted customer care and they are saying your product warranty is expired.. you need to pay 200rs for 1 month warranty service..

    I told to disconnect the service I will go with other d2h providers.

    From my personal experience pls don't go with Videocon ..

    Donot deserve rating also. I faced the same issue... Earlier when I used to recharge for a month it was all fine... Now after subscription of 3months I see some channels are not available (I need 2 channels in particular )... It is really a pain to contact customer care of Videocon D2H - feel lucky if someone picks your call.
    They say engineer need to visit and you need to pay 200, if you don't pay they will deduct from your balance. I am not going with Videocon D2H ever again.

    Videocon is cheating.
    There s cloud in the sky may be bcoz of that the service is not available in d2h.on the 3rd day i called and conveyed the issue to customer care.the response was that if i want to register complaint, it will be charged rs 200/ when service person comes.but the comedy is that, the device has changed not more than 2months.they are claiming that, the device might have damaged.is this durability of a product?

    Anyway, for the fault of vendor, y should the customer bare the charges.

    Raise the voice against cheating.

    Dear all,

    Even we are facing the same problem. When we contacted d2h customer service they told us, engineer will be visiting your house and we need to pay 200 to the service engineer. I'm not sure how come they charge 200 for everyone makes a complaint. It is their duty to make customer happy and this happens every where in the world. We are paying 400 per month and if we don't get signal pay extra 200 and on total 600 per month. I'm not getting logic behind their service. Finally we have to pay 600 for poor service for most of the time. And more over they don't give Bill for money they collect from us (service charge) . Even if we want go to consumer court we don't have any proper Bill from our side.

    Even i faced the same issue yesterday. Service charge 200rs. Engineer resolved the issue in less than 5 mins and got the 200 rs service charge. Cheating the Customers this way is unethical.

    From 24/03/2020 I am unable to view any channel. only D2H symbol pop up on screen. customer care not pick up call since issue date. no response of E mail also. and daily charge deduction is on.
    very poor service and most probably I will also face visit charge of Rs. 200.

    our remote was not working but I was not sure, I thought there might be another problem may be in set top box.so I called customer care, they logged my complaint I told me service person will visit, I confirm charges from them for remote 275, though he didn't told me any info about 200 rs service charge, I'm having that call recording with me, engineer solve this issue within 1 min by changing channels from his remote, and suggested me to buy new remote, fir which he said 320 rs I hv to pay, and the remote which I will get was not same as original one, so I didn't take it from him. He didn't asked for any charges, he simply went away.i thought that was great service.Today when i recharged my account then I came to know that my account is not going to start until I pay 200 extra, customer care said 200rs has beed debited from your account.ohhh man this not my bank account...you people are doing a professional froud.I will not going to suggest Videocon to anyone.its not abt 200rs, but the way ur taking it from customers without our knowledge.i am guessing now by doing this how much they are earning in single day.its a business based on cheating.

    I am facing sinilar issue.
    I done a recharge from Infinity App but still not able to see the channels.
    And still getting the E18 error fpr insufficient balance.
    When I asked customer care, they said its a technical issue and asking for 200rs service for visit.
    I am surprised how the technical issue arrived as everything was already till yesterday and i have done nothing with set top box so how it happened.
    And why should I pay 200rs for no reson.
    This is really pathetic and I am fed up with this.

      Called so many times but videocon didn't responding. Again n again telling me that u will not face these problems but still m facing these problems. Not even approached me. Zero service.         I have recently faced an issue with network and called customer care in May2016 and they came and replaced a part near to Antenna and about to charge + service charge. It worked for 2weeks, again the same is the problem.

        Now they are asking to pay service charge again and the same piece replacement.

        If the piece that is given at first is of good quality, it might have got closed now. and the customer service ppl are saying that prodcut warrenty is only for a month which is really weired to me. If I deny to pay this amount, they deduct in my balance it seems.

        Please get rid of this kind of mindset and provide the quality service to the people for what it is been paid rather than looting them.

          Hi this is praveen kumar from hyderabad. I have a videocon d2h connection

          From[protected] setup box not getting signals and the error message shows "signal not available"
          From that day onwards i am trying to contact with customer care and finally
          On[protected] service engineer checked my stb. I was told that the receiver is not working and replaced with new one.
          For a couple of minutes working properly but within an hour stb stopped working and the same problem repeated.
          Immediately contacted the service engineer who came earlier. He told me that he will come asap and resolve the issue. After that i spoke to customer care thrice but no use.
          Today morning i got call from same service engineer that time i was busy in my work and told him to come and resolve the issue post lunch.
          When i spoke to this guy he telling me that his bike got repaired he transferred the service request to somebody else.
          Finally no use of customer care neither service engineer.
          I requested to cancel my service and refund my money. After that on 02-06-16 i got a call from backend team and requested me not to cancel the service and and i was told that i will get the amount refund for this period.
          0n[protected] service engineer visited and resolved the issue.
          From that day onwards i am calling to customer care to get refund.
          Today on 13-06-16 i spoke to customer care and asked for the status they told me that i got refund for 6 days.
          I asked them i suppose to get refund for 20 days +.
          They told me that i made a request for cancelation they won't refund for those days till the request was in active and blah blah blah...
          Please look in this.

            I am getting a very frequent calls to my mobile from various numbers before and after of every subscription of my videocon D2H which really irritating.kindly help from those unwanted calls.there is no proper customer care number to address it.these calls are mostly coming from dadri / gazhiabad uttarpradesh.in a given single day more than 5 times calls been made.

                This is to inform that i have made a compliant about the non working of the set up box on tuesday i.e 07.06.216. Till now it was not resolved. two people have come at different times and both gave different problem without informing what is the exact problem. repeated requests have made to the customer care but they gave pathetic replies and every time we call customer care they generate a different complaint number and an SMS is sent informing that it will be resolved within 24hrs. So when we call up customer care we are not aware which no to refer.

                the complaint numbers generated are

                  Respected videocon,

                  I have purchased videocon ddb led tv model no. Vju40fh18xah-fd, sr no.[protected] from vijay sales, ulhasnagar-3 with extended 3years warranty offer on[protected], at the time of purchase vijay sales - sales person told that if any issue regarding warranty i can call the vijay sales customer care for support.
                  My customer id[protected]. On[protected] i found my videocon ddb led tv was not working so tried to log complaint with videocon customer care but i was not able to contact videocon customer care as all the toll free nos i found were wrong so i logged the complaint with vijay sales customer care. But i found the vijay sales complaint handling process was very worst, no notification of my complaint numbers via sms or mails and the process is not transperant. 2 - 3 days daily i used to register the same complaint newly again and again as no status of previous complaint were available. So finally with very hard research i found the videocon lcd tv customer care no. I logged complaint with complaint no. Tha[protected] dated[protected], technician attented the complaint but problem was not resolved and he told it is not his job the ddb d2h led tv complaints are attended by dth/d2h service technicians so he told me to log complaint with videocon dth/d2h customer care. So i logged complaint with videocon dth/d2h cust. Care on[protected] comp no. Is missed by me, the technician attended the call he told that some pcb is defective in ddb d2h lcd and presently it is not available with him he told it will be available by 2 to 3 days, but there was no response form more then 4 days so i called and asked customer care for status of my registered comp no. Dated 21-05-16 and found there was no detail available so they told me to log new complaint with new comp no.[protected] dated[protected]. And mr. Kishor service technician from ips service centre, attended the call but he brought some other led tv model d2h ddb motherboard pcb, tried to fix the pcb in my led tv slot and switched on the lcd but was not succsesful it was not matching my tv's pcb slot so he removed both my tv's old pcb and and new pcb which he fixed temproraly and taken my old pcb (Details: part no. [protected], date:[protected], mstv628vxm type version 3.0, pcb size: 245mm x 125mm.) as sample to service centre. But still now the exact pcb is not available today on[protected] again one of the videocon servive technician brought another unmatching pcb of some other led tv model and tried to fix it but was unsuccsesfull. So today i again called videocon d2h cust care again they told me to log new complaint with comp no.[protected] dated 08-06-16. So i request the brand videocon to please look at this matter the third party service team is tring to close the complaints with unprofessional manner (Thukpatti) when i tried to contact there local service supervisor mr. Sushant he is not attending the phone. I had purchase this led tv after looking all its features and hdmi - 3no, usb port - 3no, so i will not let the technician to place the unmatching motherboard pcb. From[protected] till today[protected] total 24days my led tv is not working.

                  My led stopped working...I was told I get 3 years warranty plus 2 years extended warranty.. and now when I complained in Videocon..in 1.5 years..they told me I will be charged 1200 for visit.. wow.! This is how you cheat people? In name of visit you charge 1200 within warranty period? My serial number is[protected]

                    I had problem in setup box, i called customer care number and there was slow machine voice expecting to press 1. After pressing 1 my plan converted to sports having higher rates. So now i found 2 problems after calling customer care. I called customer care and insist to revert my plan back to base pack and they denied that its company policy and they can't revert it for at least one month.

                    My concern is whey there is no option to change back to the base package?
                    Why that marketing offers are there at customer line in very low volume?
                    Why there is no confirmation like 'are you sure you want to change the package' on ivr before changing package?

                    We have validated your concern about the package change and found that the subscription package was changed to “New Gold Sports pack” over the IVR on 16th May 2016 when you had called at our helpline from your registered mobile number.

                    Please note that the package was changed by you over the interactive voice response unit by selecting the required option ( 1 ) and there was no manual intervention from our side. As per the package change policy any package has to be subscribed for minimum 1 month i.e. 30 days. Hence we are unable to make any changes at this moment.

                    I agree the package was changed by me but it was by mistake and there must be option to change back to the base package if I believe you are not one of Fraud companies.

                    Why that marketing offers are there at customer line in very low volume ???

                    After repeatedly asking simple 2 questions you are ignoring to answer them that concludes that you are the one of FRAUD companies. So I request who is reading this be careful of this company.

                      On 05 jun 16 at 1800 hrs on switching on my STB the remote was not working. so i called on customer care no. [protected] for compliant. i told the rep about my problem he did his best to resolve my problem but no fruitful solution do i thought to check my remote from nearby and found it serviceable. again at 1840 hrs i called to customer care to lodge a compliant for STB. the rep while lodging compliant told me about the service charges and i told him that just lodge my compliant i will pay whatever applicable but the rep told me that i have to listen to whatever he tells and he will not lodge compliant untill i listen to him. this is totally unethical as when i am ready to bear the charges then what is the need to explain me about the charges on phone, where the phone bill is also running no one will refund my phone bill. and then i told him to divert my call to his senior but he disconnected the call.

                      later after about an half an hour i called again to talk to supervisor and requested a call back from supervisor as he was busy attending calls. the rep told that he will call me back. but after an hour he didn't call me.

                      so again i called and firstly i got my compliant registered and got a ref. no for repair. and again requested to transfer my call to supervisor and asked for a reference no but the rep told that ref no. is not available for call back from supervisor. so i told that then without disconnecting my call pls fwd my call to supervisor. the supervisor took my call after a long wait for about 10 min and told that he will call me back and look into the matter.

                      but till now i.e about 01:30 hrs past but he neither called me nor provided me with the ref no for the compliant.

                      pls do look into the matter for providing ref no for whatever compliant a customer books at the customer care no.

                        This is to inform that I am a long term customer and using your services. I have a multi room connection. On 4th Midnight ie. 04.06.2016 my services were suspended as I did not complete the recharge, without delay I made the payment and waited for the services to restart but did not start so I contacted Customer care and was told by Mr mondol that the problem was from my side and technician needed to be sent to resolve the issue and i had to make payment to the enginner. I am surprised that despite the fact that Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Tv which are free channels were working fine i was getting a message of E16-4 which indicated Insufficient balance which proves that the problem was from your end but the executive was not ready to listen or help. I am surprised with your services and this logical that this is a problem related to insufficient balance. I have decided further not to continue with your services. Please refun my amount of Rs 100 which I payed for the recharge. I would advice you that if you continue with this kind of service then the day would not come that all your customer's wold leave you. Please make arrangement for the refund of my Rs 100.

                          My set top box is having some problem and a technician was supposed to visit to resolve the issue on 1st june. But i did not get any call from technician.
                          Also upon checking the status of complain on 3rd June, i was told that technician will visit on 4th June before 4 PM. I waited for your technician call & visit whole day sitting at house.
                          Again after enquiring about the status, your customer care again gave me another complain no for the same issue, while the previous complain no. is still open.
                          is this the method to make fool your customer that every time he will be getting a new complain no. and a new date.

                              I gave number of complaints to Videocon D2H for no signal and cheat of engineer technician (without changing receiver engineer told it's changed to new receiver replaced) they were not solving and dragging it even after giving compliant they closing the complaint, but they take money for every visit.
                              Whenever it rains or about to rain immediately the videocon services will stop with error “SIGNAL NOT AVAILABLE”.If we lodge a complaint regarding they say we have to pay money 200.They wount rectify this problem after paying Rs200 as i did and again for every change in the weather same old story and we have to pay money .Means in rainy season we cant use Videocon d2h, holiday for them.
                              The time we started getting new channels and they are part of subscribed list, but they are not comming, when we call they said in 10 minutes it will resume as we sent signal, but it wount resume, after repeated calls they say the same old story, when i asked them to register a complaint they are saying we have to pay 200 for the technician to visit.When i asked why we have to pay money it was your fault, they said as per policies.I said i wount pay single rupees that was your fault, they said its either set up box problem/antenna problem.I said earlier when the technician came asked him to check set up box/antenna he said its fine and for every visit i am paying money.Then she said if you are not ready to pay money we have nice option regarding some scheme that is we need to pay money in advance of 700/600 and 1 year warranty and in that year any problem technician will visit and service free(cant understand how is it free as we are paying money in advance) which we utilized earlier and that year there was no complaint at all.I said i wount pay single rupee but still they are not ready to solve the issue and all they need is money.
                              I asked rep sravanthi to pass it on to your manager, then i spoke with manager Sravani the same old story rep/manager said and they dont know how to talk with customers except money.I said finall we want to disconnect she said yes you can disconnect.
                              Such a bad and worst experience we never had even with local service provider like Media vision.They give best service and far better than videocon d2h.

                                  I purchased videocon d2h set top box for my house in october 2014. For the first month they have provided hd channels for free. From the 2nd month it was not free. It costs 175/- per month. These details weren't told to us during purchase neither during the installation. We have been recharging the set top box when the balance goes down till may 2016. When asked to customer care, they told that we have activated by giving a missed call from the registered mobile number. But we never activated it. While we we arguing with the customer care executive, first two times my call was disconnected by them without proper response to my query. The third time when i call they put my call on hold by telling that they will transfer the call to other team, but no one came on call for 30 mins. The next time i called my call was blocked from my landline. I tried from two other mobile number, it too resulted in the same way. So i mailed my problem to the nodal officer, tamilnadu, they called me after two hours, but their answer was not genuine. They told they will provide a free service, but in case we don't need it, the customer should call and cancel the service. Suppose if recharging time comes for my connection, they start sending me messages from before 10 days. But for the active subscription preferences they won't send messages. I even recharged my account for a one year package on october 2015 for 2424/-. At least when i did that they should have informed me my subscription will not come for one year since my monthly payment would be 400/- per month including the hd add on which i never activated on my account. They are charging people by adding these unwanted add on unknowingly from the customer.

                                      Videocon D2h customer ID[protected] recharge for 3 months amounted rs.825 on 19 may 2016. After lodging complaint to activate the D2H service under complaint number:[protected] dated 20th may 2016 to videocon D2H customer care but the problem was not satisfactorily resolved before 27th may 2016 accordingly.
                                      Hence availed some other TV cable operator service but till today that is 1st june 2016 no proper reply was given as well as not resolved my problem.
                                      also considerable replies and refund for not activating service was not given by the service provider within the time limit assured.

                                      Kindly considering the problem and try getting refund at its earliest.
