I bought a VIDEOCON LCD 26" HAUTE( VEL ) model TV from SHUBHAM Electronics Mysore in May 2009.In the 1st week of November the Audio of the TV suddenly went off.I registered a complaint with Shubham Electronics as well as with the toll free service number [protected] . After a week a technician from the Videocon Service Centre comes and claims that the main PCB needs to be changed and it costs Rs 5000. This is pure looting of the customer by the Videocon Service Centre , Mysore.

This Audio Loss seems to be a COMMON complaint .This is definitely a MANUFACTURING DEFECT of the TV.I have been trying to contact the company to lodge a complaint about this manufacturing fault but all online complaint modes on the Videocon site and telephone numbers of Bangalore and Hubli Branch offices given in the owner's manual are not functioning. The only recourse is to contact the service centre Mysore or the toll free number and WAIT.

How can a company like Videocon show such scant regard towards its loyal customers?My complaint number is BANAPPLE [protected].

I recharge 2 times of 51 Rs. on 13 or 14 Oct, and according to offer i will be given talk time of 51minutes on 31st and 61st day of recharge. I asked customer care for will it be valid if I recharge it on same no. 2 times they told yes it is applicable and you can do it two or more times. and now on this day time of giving free minutes they says it was applicable for only one recharge not for multiple !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have purchased a videocon mobile v1675 from one mobile shop from kolkata dated 14/11/2010. the sales man assured me that i do not have to go anywhare/service center for the mobile problem and if i do like the mobile they will exchange it in between 15 days because the mobile manufacturer is very new in this sector.i am not satisfy with the mobile it cost rs 4218.00. it's speaker sound is very poor, apart from avi format videos no others format can be run, bluetooth is not working properly and fm has a very poor network.Now the biggest problem is that i cant use the mobile as a modem because the software(pc suite) provided by the company is not working/installing. when i visit their web site http://videoconmobiles.com/downloads.htm, i've not found my mobile model v1675 but still i downloaded the pc suite software which is also not running. i visited the shop they are arguing with me that they will not exchange the mobile also they are not providing the software nor the service centre. i am helpless. what should i do. is there any legal way to overcome this problem.please help/suggest me

I checked with one of my relatives and found it to be a fraud. The company in this case should enquire and take stern action against those who are misguiding the jobseekers.

From 18.11.2010 i am continuosly calling Videocon Mobile Customer care regarding deduction of my recharge money. When the we dial the number to the customer care, we receive the answer that call is been connected and then without receiving the call by the customer care executives it is immediately disconnected. If luck by chance the call is been answered then too we are not getting the proper and sufficient reply from their side. But, after continuos try to get connected with them finally i had talked with Mr.Sunil, Mr.Bunty and Mannerless Mr.Vishal they gave me the Case Id: 25091671, and said that you will receive the Call from our company but till date I have not received any such call and even my PROBLEM of DEDUCTING THE MONEY IS NOT BEEN SOLVED

On 24.05.2010, I purchased videocon mobile V1306 from planetM outlet Lower Parel, Mumbai. From day 1 the loud speaker on/off option is not working. When i switch ON FM Radio, the sound come from loudspeaker & headphone both "after switch off loudspeaker". Due to this im not using to listen FM personally, bcoz sound come from loudspeaker as well as headphone after switchoff loudspeaker.

I already informed PLANET-M outlet at lower parel- mumbai where i purchased videocon mobile. But they suggested to go "dadar-mumbai" service centre after 2days of purchase date, instead of replacement.

I visited to below said service centre to show my problem:
But they said this option is by default setting from videocon, where option is showing "Loudspeaker ON/OFF". If there is no option to select loudspeaker ON/OFF, then we should consider this is BY DEFAULT setting. How they can say this is default option.

I am wasted my money by purchase of Videocon mobile.

I had purchased a Videocon Washing machine in 1998. Model 1211 for Rs. 16000. Approx. . Its Mother Board say P.C.B. had been damaged by some dishonest mechanic in, Sector 22.
Chandigarh. few months back. I have tried everywhere go get the P.C.B. All agencies reported that the Company had stopped manufacturing the above Model. Dear sir,
I got an out bound call from videocon for advertisement of hello tune. During the call I was given the instructions to press the relevant button to activate the service;however, i did not press any button as i don not want to subscrbe for any value added service. As soon as the call was ended, I got an sms that your service has been activeated and re 1 was deducted from my account.
When I called the customer care for the same an agent named Mamta told that i have pressed that's why the service was acivared. When I told her to transfer the call to the Supervisor, she, instead of transfering the call to supervisor, disconnected the call.
Sir, the question is here not for one rupee but the question is how they can activate any service without my permission?
Sir, please do needful because as i will recharge my account I will be charged for the remaining amount also for the same.

Girias doesnt bother to listen to the consumer's problem after sales..I had purchased a new VIDEOCON WASHING MACHINE from this Girias showroom in Kalyannagar. During last week it got repaired & is not working. Hence filed complaint with Videocon service centre on 08th November-2010 morning. Till date no a bloody has called us from Service centre & not even attended our problem. On the contrary I am profusely calling this damn showroom to talk to the higher ups on[protected], 42687777 so many times, but no one answers the calls. the phone just keeps ringing or engaged..I dont know how government gives licenses and grants permissions to such irresponsible non-concerned people to open such showrooms and fool people like this...Government should give more powers for the consumers[like in USA, UK etc.,] to claim damages & compensation for creating difficulties and agony to the consumers after they put in their hard earned money in purchasing such brands from such showrooms..............hope atleast these showroom "maaliks" & brand masters to take a note in providing good satisfactory services in furture...............god save India & helpless customers......

I am a videocon sim card.
I use my phone to make internationala calls to USA.
For which i have recharged my number with rs. 57, which gives you plan to make calls for 1p per sec(informed by videocon executive).
i made few calls to USA numbers & i was charged 1p/sec, but for the next calls they charged me 50rs per call.
I called their customer care on 09 nov 2010 & registered a complaint to get refund(no complaint number was provided)
Again next day i recharged my phone with 222 & made calls to USA number(for my business purpose)
after few calls i was charged rs 250/- for 5 minutes.
And my balence was left with 5rs. Due to this inconvinience i had a loss of $1600 in my business because i was not able to call my client due to wrong deduction of my balence..

I again called on 10 nov 2010& registered a complaint against them.(again no complaint # provided) & i was promised that i will get a call on same day before 4 pm(which i never did)
I then called the customer care & asked the executive to transfer to their Manager.
After a hold of 29 minutes my call was disconnected.
Then i again called & asked for manager & again same thing happened after a long hold of 21 minutes.
This happened 5 time continously & at last my call was transfered somewhere & then i got a voicemail.

I am totally frustrated by this attitude by Videocon & wants to claim Rs 100000 for mental harrasment & money loss.
Kindly investigate & help.

My Videocon Fully automatic washing machine was taken by the authorised service centre personnel of the company (Cool control systems) for rectifying a problem of "spin not working" in July 2010 and was delivered back after a period of about 20 days ( after much cajoling and threat), but when it was delivered it had developed other problems like wild shaking, rattling sound etc. When this was brought to the notice of the service personnel, the machine had again been taken to the service centre on 12.08.2010. Till date it has not been delivered back after rectifying the problem... My variou phone calls to the service centre and mail to the company has not evoked a favorable response so far. How we can rate this company as a multi nationa one if this is the type of after sales service offered?
How can I get my grievance redressed now?

This is regarding my mobile handset V1655 model,i have been using the handset since 7 months as of now and i am facing a continuos problem o[censored]nmanned switching off,in my handset after intermittent 15 mins.

I had already brought it to the companys notice twice as of which i had been provided with some repairs to my handset regarding the same issue but the problem still persist,this has been repeated twice,but i am afraid to inform that the problem still exists.

Dear Sir,

We have a washing machine model, VNA160T. For the last month, we had problem as body need to replace. We requested for a service thru Help Line and were acknowledged. After 3 weeks and having several follow-ups, my machine was picked up to service station and assured me get it repaired within 3 days. The Washing machine is integral part of our daily life, one cannot manage without it, we kept following up with & the service provides HI TECH SERVICES, B-14, Sec-64, Noida but things are not moving.

We kept calling and getting advice to contact this no, this no.....

We would like to know what is the future on our equipment and we calls the shot at Videocon ? If mechanics behave this way, days are not far off when you find your customers going away.

Now everybody is concentrating on customer satisfaction but you are away from this. We never expected this from a reputed company like you in today’s time.
