I want to know this is true . or fraud

I received exactly the same email with the company name changed to Maruti Suzuki. my friends who have invested like this or are thinking of investing, please understand that this is entirely your individual responsibility that you lost the money. the company cannot do anything because they would not even know these scammers. But why throw around money like this? please respect the value of money and do not waste them, after all you are seeking a job and not trying to invest capital for business. I have deleted the email the moment I saw they required payment in advance. anyone can open an account and close in later. please be more careful in handling these emails in future. without any well documented papers you should never advance any money to anyone in exchange of any promise whatsoever.

Its look like suspisious, last date for depositing money is 13.08.2010 and after that they will send me the air ticket to attend the interview to be held at Delhi on 14.08.2010. At least they should be given 4-5 days then it can be genuine.

I just received the very same letter & immediately goggled it. It's insane if anyone takes this seriously. Firstly there's no authenticity, no company logo and no HR dept asks for a security deposit. Absolute fraud!

I totally agree to you as i m also a suffrer of bad purchase selection of vediocon.
I purchased a Vediocon V1655 & lost the charger, Thats my fault.
Bur for last 4 months i m hunting for the charger wondring from one service centre to other. but not able to get it.
I dont now why vediocon is performing so bad in after sale service.

speaking about the handset, it is horrible it no battery life, set gets hot after 2 minute talk, it Hangs, touch screen is disguisting, on the whole it is a blunder in product development. I would take an oppertunity to warn the readers DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANY VEDIOCON PRODUCT.

I too agree with this.

This is a fraud email. First they requested for Rs. 10, 000/- as security deposit and once the payment has been done then they demanded for Rs. 15, 000/- refundable amountciting reason that this is due to the affidavit procedures then only the can send you the offer letter and air ticket.

But at this stage I felt of not loosing more money and dropped out by writing a mail I could not arrange Rs. 15000/-

I request all the readers please do not get into the trap just like me.

I receive a mail from a person named Harishyam Maurya of Videocon Electronics India Limited, informing me about a recruitment process in the company, wherein I had been selected and that I need to deposit Rs. 8,500/- for receiving the offer for interview.

This is to inform all aspiring candidates, that this mail has come from a fraudant company interested in misguiding prospective and unsuspecting candidates.

Please understand:
1. No company demands a security deposit to attend interview for managerial position.
2. The language used by this individual itself shows that its from a dupious company.
3. Spelling errors like IICICI Bank indicates the level of the person writing the mail.

I suppose we should write to Videocon India about this.
