My self Ms Meghna daughter of Mr Suresh Chavan one of your new customer taken new connection on Sunday(dated 4 july 2010) from the dealer called Mr Kaushik(Kaushik Enterprice) which is in Andheri the ref provided by Just Dial when call the dealer for new plans in videocon immediately after 2 hrs an Excecutive came from Kaushik Entp & started convincing & told that payment has to be done immediately so that he can the tech for further process. He gave an commitment that till Sunday late night the connection will be done.But no one turn up & as next day was holiday due to Bharat Bandh we didn't call the dealer, when I Mom call on 6th July i.e Tuesday was told by the agent that it will be done on the same day. when call after 4 hrs for the status was told that u call the Customer Care yourself & lodge a complaint. when we call the customer care the response was very bad & disconnected the no. in between the conversation. when call the dealer said he cannot do anything.
Today i.e 7 July 2010 Wednesday when I call the Customer Care was told that they cannot help & we have to wait more 2-3 days for the connection.
Is this service you provide to the customer after taking money on very first day & commitment of 48hrs for the connection. Their is no manners taught to customer care executive how to speak with customer.& dealers who don't have any answers for any of our questions.
When we took the connection we taught we have chosen the best one, but after your service we realise that its an wrong dicision taken from our side & we are regretting for the same.
I m forced to write all this as my family had suffered a lot. I m hoping that our isssue will be resolved soon hence we will taken serious action against the company.

I have purcahsed Videocon Mobile handset VC 1425 triple SIM Model of Videocom. I am facing problem this handset for disconnection of CDMA SIM. I called their customer support they asked me to go to Accel frontlie, support centre at Nehru place, New Delhi. This support centre looks like fish market and I think after getting token you it will take more than 3 to 4 hours for someone to attend your complaint.

Problems with Videocon V1675 DualSim Mobile

I am 100% agree with all bugs mentioned above.

1. Poor Interface : V1675 handset is not appears as a good mobile

2. Poor Connectivity: This dual sim handset frequently goes into Emergency mode and one of the sim shows as Invalid Sim. It needs device re-start to get rid of this problem.

3. Poor Standby: The handset doesn't standby for more than one day and charging of the handset also takes very long time to get it completely charged (nearly up to 7to8 hours).

4. Heavy Weight: Weight of the handset seems to be moderately heavy when compared to other handsets of different manufacturers.

5. Poor Response: The handset response to the user actions appears to be slow (Device Unlocks is not that dynamic).

6. Poor Quality: The handset appears to not completely passed the Quality check and doesn’t meet respective quality standards.

Some of the Bugs I found are…

1. Device sound clarity is very poor for FM Radio & also video.

2. Message inbox list can't accommodate display for more than two messages in one show and 5/6th of the screen occupies to show up the metadata of the respective message only rather than listing adequate message titles.
3. If the user sets an alarm, then the alarm text overlaps with the Date&Time info of the device header. The text overlapping on the device appears to be very awkward while alarm is ringing.
4. Message Inbox shows wrong alerts of sender's identity (Let say, the user 'X' receives a message from sender 'Z' while he is reading the message of sender 'Y'. But, the message alert shows up wrongly on the device as it has been arrived from Sender 'Y' instead of Sender 'Z' which seems to be an act of confusing the user.

Videocon Mobiles — Quality of Mobile Handset

Dear Sir,

Undersigned Mr.Divyesh Mehta purchased a Videocon Mobile Model No.V1655 from Baroda Store on dated 22.04.2010.

After use of 3-4 month having a problem of touch screen.
Visited the Videocon Authorised service Center at Baroda Name: Accel frontline Services Ltd.Baroda.

Mobile was inspected by the service engineer on 09.08.2010 and asked me that Touch screen panel to be replaced on chargable basis. Accepted the same for paying the cost of the part to be replaced. Informed me that we have to call the part from the Videocon company as the same is not available with him.
They have created the JOB Card and the No. is BRD-VG[protected]DW dtd.09.08.10

Called the customer call center on 16.08.10 and they have given the Complaint No.MAM[protected]IB since the part was not delivered at their Service center till date and Mobile was not repaired.

Keep on calling to the customer call center and always getting the reply to wait for 72 Hrs, we are in the process of your complaint.

If the company like Videocon is launching a Mobile phone and the parts are not availble with him after 15 days time, than Govt.of India should take a action against him.

I have heared that minimum spare parts are to be maintained by the manufacturer.

Please book my complaint against the Videocon Company and revert back if you need any further details

videocon Mobile Handset — Misselling of Videocon Mobile By Planet M

Dear Sir,

I have purchased a new Videocon dual sim handset model V1612 from one of your dealer Planet M Retail Ltd-New Market on 12th May'11.(Invoice attached).
During my queries once reached there I specifically asked the sales personnel of the counterIf this phone will work as modem or not as I need to connect it with my PC/Laptop at home. I was ensured with a positive response.
I even asked him to provide me Nokia C2-01 which works as modem but he told that there is some software problem with that set.

After reaching home I found there was nosoftwareCDin the boxpack.I immediately called up at the store & they told that they will not be able to provide it as it's not part of standard accessories.
As a result,this phone is simply of no use for me at present & I have asked for a replacement there.However, they confirmed to pay me INR1000 against this which even not used so far..!! Although it has been mentioned at your bill that " Products can be exchange in undamaged , unused and saleable condition with in 7 days from the date of purchase".

We understand that the percentages of sales commissionmay bequite higher for these stores on videocon/other newly launched handsets comparison to other leading manufacturers like Nokia/Samsung but this kind of approaches/misselling is not expected at allfrom the sales personnels sitting in such a prestigious store(belongs to Videocon group). In this way,this kind of sales personnels will only help you to lose customers day by day.
I want toreplace the said handset from the store immediately against a new Nokia phone on higher range.

I am writing with regard to my Videocon LCD TV i have purchased on October-2009, from the date of purchase i have been facing problem with the TV.
Recently i got some complain with my TV screen, and i called Videocon Customer care. They asked me to give my TV to Wilson Garden located their authorized service center ( TEKCARE SERVICE, Bangalore Service Network, #4/4, B.T.S main Road, 12th Cross, Wilson Garden, Bangalore-560030).

It's been 24 days since i have given my television for servicing and still i don't have any reply from Videocon service center or company.

I have asked for standby TV or replacement of the faulty television set In case it's taking too long or servicing is not possible. But forget about any replacement or standby, i seems to be a distant dream to get my TV serviced even after 24 days.

Sequence of follow up calls are as follows:
05-June-2010- Gave my television for servicing and service centre people told me that we they will get me my TV serviced in 2 days time.
08-June-2010- After trying some odd 30 times i got to talk to service Center Executive and they informed me that the will get back to me by next day with the status.
09-June-2010- I didn't get any call from Service center
10-June-2010- I again called service center to check status on my TV and the phone was ringing but no one responded to my call. I tried 20-30 times and i gave up.
10-June-2010- When i couldn't reach the service center people i approached Videocon customer care and launched a complain against it. Got assurance that they will look into my issue and get back to me.Complain Number :BAN[protected]
12-June-2010- I didn't get any response from customer support, meanwhile i tried calling Service center and got to talk to them with regard to status on TV. status was like they don't have front glass in their center. They need sometime to get it from head-office and service my television.I agreed to wait to wait (thinking any way i don't have any other option)
14-June-2010: Again it was same story, no communication either from service center or call center. I tried calling service center but again no response even after calling 50 times.
14-June-2010- After being tired of calling Service Centre I again called Videocon service center. They gave me a mobile number (which is [protected] and best part when you call this number it says the number is switched off) to reach service centre and gave assurance to escalate my issue to escalation department.
15-June-2010: Finally i got a call from a tech support executive asking me details of my address (as in he doesn't know anything about my complain. I been repeatedly telling them that my TV is at service center). I told him about TV at service center and got his assurance. Guess after that he vanished.
17-June-2010- I again did all the formalities to get status on my TV (called service center and then called customer care). but result remained the same. Only thing i got is assurance- "Sir, you'll get a call by tomorrow morning. and your TV should be repaired in 2-3 days time.We have asked our head office for required part, and expecting it sometime soon.
Meanwhile i also spoke to the Seller (Adishwar, Bangalore) and got a assurance from them as well them will look into the entire problem and arrange for a stand by TV set from Videocon.
After that i didn't follow for next 2-3 days.
22-June-2010;again i called them if i can collect my Television and got almost the same reply from service center, "Sir, we have sent a mail to our head office to check for the glass needs to be replaced, as soon as we'll get any response, we'll get back to you"
25-June-2010: As always i didn't get to hear any thing from service center, and i called them to check on status. Result was same, no update. The said they will call me tomorrow and will definitely inform me about my complain
26-June-2010: Another day, same story. No call from Service center. They are still waiting for any communication from head office.
Again I called call center for help, but it's not a call center where one can call and expect for help. Again after talking to them for more than 30min i didn't get any reply. Just got same assurance, "Sir, we'll get back to in some time"
I called Adishwar (TV Seller-Suppose to be a reputed brand name in bangalore) again, Explained everything to them and got similar assurance.
Now i realized that talks are good when you are dealing with people who listen to it, I'm writing this mail to seek any help from any one of the people marked in the mail.
Frankly speaking by now i should have gone to consumer court, but this is the last attempt I'm making as a good customer.
Hope to see some response in 2 days time, after that I'll see what legal route i can take.

Servicing a electronic equipment is difficult. Humans go to doctor and tell their problems, I've got stomache ache, head ache, no appetite and endless problems and thus giving a hint as to what the problem might be. If you take a Ciprofloxacin, it cures your stoach problems, urinary problems and other problems, but an electronic equipment like a TV is a assebly made of a Power Supply, Tuner, Audio, Vertical and horizontal sychronising circuits, Line Output Transformer with its secondary Power supply and the Microprocessor controlling all the above and handing the controls to the user(Remote).

Have some more patience yaar, Mr. Rajeev ji very rarely but sometimes it happens, and unfortunately it is your TV, it is a big corporation and why should they do it purposely and hence spoiling their reputation.

Post this i sent them a email to send me their bank account details, they replied to me with the below information.
