hello Sir, Ma'am,
I would like to bring to your attention the bad day me and my mother had at Vishal mega mart now open in Meerut Address:Sardhana Rd, near Shiv Chowk, Kanker Khera, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh 250001..
We chose two shirts at the stall saying- buy one get one free -and so picked up two shirts and later we were informed that one of the shirts was not under the discount scheme . Later the staff could not really find the one to pair with the shirt and the only shirt he found was faded so I had to buy on the MRP.
Above all the lady at the billing counter was answering back at my mother who felt very disrespected.i have worked as a cabin crew and also at a supermart so i can say that the staff was really unruly.Many of my relatives and friends also decided to not shop there again owing to the same reason.Instead of finding a happy solution, the staff seemed disinterested and rude and they made a comment about my mother not being able to read the signs as she cannot read english.Also we had to spend a lot of time at the exit where they tallied everything we bought.
and it didn't come across to them to even offer some water to a disgruntled customer.
I would really appreciate if you could look into the matter and train the staff to respect every customer irrespective of their background and show some politeness.My mother swears she will never step into that high standard place where she was not shown any regard and she'd rather go to small shops where they at least offer free handbags and water and show respect to the customers.we spent some hard earned money but ended up feeling like we did a mistake.
