I have booked a ticket in VIjayananda Travels (http://www.vrllogistics.in) VRL logistics (hyd- bang) today i.e 17/2/2013 when I browsed the site for availability of ticket for the night journey VRL- MULTI-AXLE VOLVO A/C SEMI SLEEPER shown the timing dep as 10:15:00 and arrival 11.30 AM they didn’t mention AM or PM in departure timing after booking the ticket and payment is done in ticket it is mentioned as 10.15 AM my ticket booking happened just 10 minutes before the departure time .I tried to cancel the ticket as I need the ticket for night cancellation is not been accepted . I called customer care[protected] they said to call another number i.e [protected] when I called to this number they have given another number [protected] ,74 to call these people gave me the first number which I have already spoked to them i.e [protected] .these people are accepting there site mistake but they are not ready to refund my payment instead they arranges another bus ticket for evening when I don’t want the evening ticket as I booked in apple travels for the same . I asked return ticket so that I need not lose my amount sorry I cant help you out this was the answer they have given me and advised to postpone my apple travels ticket for return ticket and accept there VRL ticket .when they cant solve the customer problem that to raised by them what is the use of a customer care

    I am a very often traveller in VRL travels. Why should VRL travels double the fare during festivals, and why should VRL increase the fare during weekends?. While other travel companies keep the usual fare. Whether it is a festival or a weekend the fare should be the same.
    VRL charges double the fare for the passengers who travel during the festivals. I request you to please see that this should not happen here onwards. You please do the needful and see that vrl will charge the normal everyday fare for passengers.

      I was travelling from GOA to Bangalore. we were in search of BUS where the bus will be parked to check in. when i called local agent in GOA he replied you reach to Mandavi bridge from there bus will pickup. but i was not very sure how they will ensure that all the passenger are on board. I was simply roaming through the place all of sudden my wife found VRL bus when we checked the no. it was for my Bus no. KA25C7745. when i asked driver why you have not called us he replied ruthlessly that he was about to call. i would have missed my bus.

      Beware ........if you are travelling with VRL. you may spoil your journey. worst bus service & highly charged bus fare

        Dear all,

        I am pained to inform you that my travel plans have been jeopardised, on account of carelessness shown by your staff booking the tickets. I had requested to Mr.Manju (VRL travel Agency Maruthi Tours & Travels, Bangalore) to book a sleeper Coach ticket from Bangalore to Gulbarga , for 22th Jun 09:30 PM along with my Wife and 1 years old baby . Today to my horror, I was delivered a ticket on Evening 08:00 PM during the submission on boarding point ( Rajahamsa Travels, No, 27, BLK, Prashanth Nagar,Opp, TVS Show Room), after verifying from VRL boarding point found that Agency Staff booked a Semi Sleeper ticket instead of sleeper, that is of no use to me and it was very difficult for me to travel semi sleeper coach bus with my one year old baby that too last seats.

        I have to be in Gulbarga on 23th Jun mornings to attend my cousin Marriage, during that I have checked with Agency staff (Manju:
        [protected]) and there Agency Manager (Venkata: [protected]) to change semi sleeper coach to sleeper during that time it was almost 09:00 PM and they asked me to check with VRL boarding point staff member to change the same, unfortunately they couldn’t arrange sleeper coach, they requested me to reach their respective VRL manager ( Prasanna: [protected]), I have got a very bad response from VRL manager Prasanna, when I was requested him to change my semi sleeper coach to sleeper or if not cancel my ticket and he was asked me to check with Agency, as nothing has to be done with VRL , I had losted 1160 RS, who do I need
        to check my money.

        Who will be the responsible for my amount which was losted ?
        Is it Agency /VRL ? (Please help me)

        Do we have any kind of process policy to avoid this kind of loop falls?

        You (Shivaraj Indi (shivaraj.[protected]@gmail.com) should CHECK YOUR TICKET BEFORE LEAVING THE BOOKING COUNTER PROPERLY
        If you had checked the ticket before leaving the booking counter there would be no mistake/mis-communication or it can be corrected/changed on the spot

            Charging Extra Over the Consignments Delivered

            This is with reference to the unauthorized & extra charges over the invoice or consignment delivered. VRL Logistics Ltd is charging for the consignments delivered even after charging "Hamali Charges, Door Step Delivery Charges" Even the delivery people are charging for the consignment for Hamali Charges extra after being paid as per the invoice.

            Kindly take respective steps in this regards.br...

            Dear VRL,

            I always thought you were the best private Bus service provider in Karnataka.

            Following Issues have proved me wrong :-

            1.Unreasonably high ticket fares during weekends and special occasions Why ? What will the common man of India travel ? What is your contribution to the society ?

            2.The bus drivers are undisciplined and unresponsive to customer complaints ? Are you giving proper training to your drivers on ethics ?
            I personally had a bad experience when i was travelling from bangalore to sirsi.The driver started late from VRL Anandrao office and took a break for dinner in some hotel after tumkur.We waited for more than one hour but still the drivers didnt turnup.When confronted they said we will go fast to reach the destination on time. Then they were driving very fast risking the life of all passengers.

            3.Another worst experience was when I was travelling from bangalore to goa.(this was the worst experience in VRL).
            there were many people in the bus who were drinking beer and smoking inside the bus.the driver was smoking along with the passengers and was stopping for passengers who were drinking beer for restroom breaks on many different times and very dark locations. this behaviour continued in the whole journey duration. the drivers also didnt confront the driking passengers.


            I vow never to travel with VRL again.

            Hello,

            On 1.5.2012, I travelled by VRL Bus (Multiaxle - semi sleeper) from Borivali (Mumbai) to Toranagallu (reached on 2.5.12). As per the written commitment of the bus operator - pick-up & drop point (start of the journey & end point) is Vidyanagar (Dist. Bellary). On reaching at Toranagallu on 2.5.12 driver vehemently refused to drive Bus upto Vidyanagar township which is 7-8 kms away from Toranagallu entry point. We had to find out other mode of travel. That's the service quality!!!

            When we pay heavy fare for the fixed destinations (almost equal to 2nd AC fare of express train), why these so called "PROFESSIONAL" Bus operators give us the desired services? They are simply making money rather than customer service. Who will correct them? Will India improve so far as road travel service in India is concerned?

              Hello this is Sagar here,we booked 17 seats from Pune to Bangalore,we had a terrible experience travelling,there were so many bed bugs on the seats,so many of my family members suffered rashes and allergies and spent so much for the medications later.The bus registration number is KA 25B 5191.

              We stopped the bus in the middle of the journey and blasted them and spoke to their superiors to reschedule a different bus,guess what, even the new bus had so many bed bugs,so many elders had to suffer.Even the restaurants they took us were terrible it is HOTEL SHANTI SAGAR in SIRA,they charged different prices for a perticular dish for different table,irony is, it endorsed by Department of tourism(GOVT of Karnataka),we are not at all happy with the whole VRL service.

              If there is anybody listening,please let me know what can be done for this,we just want to make sure nobody else in the future suffers like we have.

                My name is Raviprakash H G from Bangalore.( Cell: [protected] )
                On 14th May, 2011 at Koppal, while booking online ticket in VRL Travels from Koppal to Bangalore I encountered unsuccessful ticket booking and I was given a temporary PNR # 742426 and my ticket was not booked.

                When I called the concerned person of VRL ( Manjunath ) over phone he assured that he will refund my ticket amount of Rs.390, but so far I have not recevied my refund amount.

                Again, I called him but he was not answering my calls and till now my amount has not been refunded.

                Hence I request the concerned Travels to look into this and treat the matter as most urgent.

                Looking forward a positive solution for this problem.

                Pertaining to this transaction, on 12.03.2010 i booked the ticket. after all the procedure.i got a message stating transaction error, even my ticket was not booked, but my amount got debited from my account. But till now i have not yet received the Amount of Rs 425.00 back.

                  Hi ALL , When i walked to vrl office sukha sagar complex to book the ticket 1 st they told me that bus is from hubli -mumbai time:9.15pm - 27/05/2011 depature so i booked 3 tickets i have reported @ 9.00pm bus came @9.05pm we occupied seats bus moved @ 9.15pm then he stopped the bus @ maratha madal college their he stoped the bus for 1 hour(10.15 pm) then i asked the ticket collector why did u stoped the bus and when ur gng to leavethe bus he replied with smile told me jst 2 min i asked asked why are u stoped the bus he told me that their r 2 passenger from hubli we r waiting for them i jst shouted to driver and ticket collector then he leave the bus again he took to office sukha sagar complex their 1 passenger got in bus then he moved to again to maratha madal college road and again he came to sukha sagar complex their he stoped the bus then (10.45pm) then i go down from i walked in VRL office i asked in counter i want to meet manager but no one told me that manager was behind me he was standing then all passenger told me that he not meet we will move otherwise will only get late then the bus moved. and reached @ 8.40am @ VT

                  On Friday I travelled from Mumbai to Hubli bus no KA25B5091, the bus started at 5.45pm from Borivali, it reached Sion at 8.15pm. Even though it was late it took round the Sion circle, Always the bus takes round atleast 4 to 5 & by the time it left it was 8.45pm. It reached food plaza at 11.00pm .It was very tiring since we reached Hubli at 10.30 am.The actual time to reach was 7am to 7.30 am .We were late by 3 hrs & this happens many a times.Please see that the buses reach in time & the journey will be pleasant.

                    My journey started late by 30.min from Borivili (Mumbai) after leaving Mumbai the driver stop the Bus on the highway very badely, on asking the driver we came to Know the breaks are failed & he some how managed to stop the bus & he infromed the office to send the new bus

                    The new bus came after 2 hrs & the journey with bus ended just before Pune as this Bus also got breakdown (This shows the kind of Busses used by VRL)

                    We are suppose to reach the final destianation Hubli (Karnatak) by 8.Am in the morning but we were standing on middle of the road (Highway) waiting for the bus as it came at 8.30 in morning.
                    The great thing about VRL that the quality of staff. They choose the special C grade drivers who dont even know how to talk to the passengers as they use a vey low garde language, behaviour is so pothetic & to avoide the complaints they hault the bus to an un ususal stop which is far away from their office (the actual final destination of the journey).


                    My request to all the passengers please avoide travelling by VRL as i faced this second time & learned my lesson

                      I had booked 2+2 seater bus from Hubli to Pune on 18/01/11. But due to bus break down, they had shifted me to AC Volo bus, there were lot many bed bugs in that seat, and my journey was horrible, and when Pune came , i went to take my luggage, my bag was torn , because of rats, all stuff in the bag was powdered,

                      how horrible experience,, cant belive VRL buses have rats and beg bugs,,, shame on VRL. Please take proper action,, else we will put case on you people,,,


                      To all my freinds who must have undergone this experience, Please stop travelling by this dirty VRL bus, let us put case on these people, then olny they will learn lesson,,,

                        Hello,

                        I, Vikas R. Joshi, had booked a ticked to travel by the VRL A/C volvo semi- sleeper bus for journey starting on 21.11.10, 9 pm IST from Hubli and ending at Mumbai on 22.11.10, 7 am IST. The bus No was KA-25 6662. The seat number alloted to me was 3. When I got into the bus, I found to my horror that the adjacent seat (no 4) had been turned into a bed for the drivers / cleaners. This was done by reclining fully the seat no 4 and actually placing a bed on it, the other end of the bed resting on the partion given at the entrance. This was a night journey and a passenger looks forward to a relaxed sleep. However to my total dismay, sleep was a distant dream. The placing fo the bed on seat no 4 made my seat narrow and I completed my journey being fully cramped. On top of this, the drivers / cleaners kept getting up and down the bed, by turns, and also when they felt like stopping the bus to urinate. This constant movement ensured that, apart from being crampped up, I would be constantly disturbed and not allowed any proper sleep. The unclean, snoring and STINKING drivers / cleaners next to my seat further ensured that not only I be totally uncomfortable and sleepless, but also breathe the stinking air that would make me so nauseous that even being fully awake was also a punishment. Further I could not understand as to how VRL could turn a seat of the semi-sleeper volvo a/c bus into a sleeper seat. I wonder whether this was alright as per safety standards and as per applicabe permits and licenses. All in all a very tiring, repulsive, disappointing and disgusting experiernce travelling with VRL.!!

                          This is terrific. VRL is cheating people like anything by increasing the fare double the amount of original during festivals. This deepavali they have kept the fare more than 1000 rs. which will be 500 during normal period. These people are looting people. Please rise the voice against them to get justice for the common people. No other travels will hike the fare. if at all they hike its only rs 100 which is affordable. How could they cheat people like this and loot them.

                          True, it really terrific. Not only VRL, almost all bus operator do this. During festival and long weekends the fares reach sky high, its tough for a common man to manage their travel during festive season. There will be no reason to make a hike. I have been searching for proper channel where we can protest for this and try to bring control over the bus fare hike which is done for no reason. Is there any transportation authority under which all this private operator come in? where we can seriously complaint about this.

                            I had my ticket booked on the 2000hrs multi-axle volvo of VRL bus services from Bangalore(Kalasipalayam) to Pune for the 28th of June,2010.The repoting time for the same as mentioned on the ticket is 1945hrs.On reaching Kalasipalyam at 1935hrs I saw that the bus was still not ready to put in my laggage as it was parked too close to another Volvo (of another company).After waiting till 1955hrs finally my luggage was taken from me to be kept in the luggage compartment.I was to go back to my car to pick up my Laptop and some other luggage and therefore I asked the driver to wait for a minute longer as the car was parked about 800m away from the bus(there is generally a parking problem here as there is no allotted parking place).To this the driver agreed. However, on my return back from the car I was shocked to see that the bus had left with my baggage at 2 minutes to 2000hrs!!(even before the scheduled time).
                            On checking with the adjacent office i was told to go to the next pick up point at Anand Rao Circle.I asked the counter person to inform at Anand Rao circle to hold on till I reach and he said he would.However,on reaching A R Circle by auto I realised that the bus had left from there as well and was told to go to Rajajinagar.On reaching Rajajinagar I was able to catch the bus finally.However,due to the unprofessional attitude of the Vrl staff I had a harrowing experience.
                            First,my friend had to miss an important dinner meeting as he was helping me chase the bus till 9:45pm and then left for home.Secondly,I had to pay the autorickshaw Rs.450/- as there was no option at that point of time.Thirdly,the mental agony I went through thinking of my entire luggage disappearing is anybodys guess.Lastly,it was antagonising to learn from some of the co-passengers that they even asked the driver to wait for me but he just ignored them and went ahead
                            Also,what shocked me even more was the attitude of the driver and the staff who were not apologetic about it and blamed me for the entire mishap.

                            Sir I am Syed Azhar a regular commuter in your bus from Shimoga to Bengaluru. Am really happy for the service provided by you. But I am sorry to say the condition of your bus from this region is very poor, and you have only same two bus from here. The problem is the bus are really old, windows don't shut properly, its pain to travel specially in winter and rainy season, and the bus creates lot of noise. So I request you to please change the bus as early as possible and please the commuters.
                            Yesterday dated 15.06.2014 i was travelling from Tumkur to Bidar, departure scheduled at 9.20 PM and when i arrived to pick up point at 9.10 PM surprisingly bus left by that time and it is crime to leave bus early without single intimation and on this office staff quote that as there was no traffic at Bangalore due to sunday/week end and bus came early and left early. It is so irritating for casual answer they give, it is not just sufficient to be best logistic award VRL should also train the staff particularly Drivers. If your motto is logistic ensure to hire trainers to train the VRL staff. Even after informing driver over the phone saying i am travelling in the next bus to catch them still they are not waited and put me in panic.Finally I end up travelling in sitting bus, than Volvo by waiting in Hiriyur toll till 12 PM (midnight).                               Hi All
                              I am frequent visitor to Bangalore
                              There is one more problem with VRL travels.
                              While coming from Bangalore, VRL buses stops for dinner in one of hotel in Davangere.
                              Service in the hotel so pathetic that, there is no place to sit.
                              If you are traveling witn your family, you have test your patience.
                              During my last visit my family did not get place sit and were waiting for queue for long time.

                              After some time we got place to sit in Hotel , and by the time food was over.

                              We end up empty stomach.I called immediately to VRL main office Hulbli, but response was poor.

                              VRL travels advertises it self as one of largest travels, VRL should learn that by only running buses is not enough, Customer service is important.

                              THE COMPANY DRIVER PERSON WON'T NO THAT THE FOOD WAS OVER, HOWEVER U CAN APPORACH HOTEL PERSONS TO PREPARE.!
                              WELL ALSO REQUEST DRIVERS TO STOP SOMEWERE ELSE for LIGHT TIFFIN
                              I was travelling from Bangalore to Mumbai. Had one worst experience from boarding the bus till the drop . No functioning customer office at the pick up point . The driver isnt concerned if the passengers have boarded the bus or no. Nor the main office employees responded properly . Very negligent regarding the passengers.

                                BED BUGS IN THE BUS !!!!!!!

                                I've travelled form mangalore to dharwad and back many times from VRL, Ganesh Travels, and Durgamba.

                                Every bus is infested with bedbugs and the management or people at booking counters dont care one bit ! Obviously they wont, coz they never travel to the places we do! Even if you complain, its clear from their responses that it makes no difference to them
                                Its impossible to sleep at night, and my whole body was covered in red rashes !!! i wonder what is the state of my stuff!

                                VRL is the worst bus to travel. The moment light switches off I have some creatures biting my feet then as night proceeds I can not sleep whole night they keep biting. Complained VRL management umpteen number of times but its of no use. You can always try SRS Travels they are clean and better.
                                The only thing is VRL INCREASE THE FARE DURING FESTIVALS. Else everything is good and because of their good service they have grown like anything. Very simple is rl increases the fare during festivals means they are in demand. VRL is the best. This -ve comment is given by their compitators.

                                  I just want to share the horrible VRL bus experience that I had this week. On the way back from Bangalore, I had a VRL bus basically kidnap me!

                                  I had a fully paid ticket for a Volvo a/c semi-sleeper 11:15pm bus from Bangalore to Hubli, and arrived at the VRL station more than half an hour early, but the bus to Hubli never arrived. I waited an hour, and when the last bus came, the VRL people started closing up shop. Unfortunately, the VRL stop was on a very sketchy looking street corner and the VRL rep available told me that I had no other options for buses that night because I was "late" (even though I was half an hour early, that didn't seem to matter to him).

                                  I ended up going to the main VRL office in Banagalore to find out waht I could do about my ticket, and a VRL rep told me (rather yelled at me, I should say) to get onto another bus that was waiting there and it would drop me at my correct bus in 10 minutes. He also went up and told the driver this.

                                  The bus that VRL put me on had no seats left so I had to sit on a little ledge in the front of the bus. But I
                                  thought "Ok, this will only be for 5 or 10 minutes, so I don't mind". 10 minutes later, the driver is still riving and when I knocked on the door to find out where he was going to drop me, the VRL conductor locked the door, pulled the curtain, and pulled down his seat to further block the door. I could see that I was still in Bangalore so I wanted to get off the bus and go back to the hotel because they were obviously acting criminal, exhibiting suspicious behavior, and not going to take me to a bus 10 minutes away.

                                  By now, I'm banging on the door like a madwoman, and the conductor just turns around and smirks. I didn't know where I was going or how I was going to get out the bus. I kept banging and the conductor opens the door and then slams it shut again and locks it without saying a word - crazy - and the driver and conductor start making comments and laughing.

                                  I tried to push the door back open but it wouldn't budge and no passengers could tell me the final destination of the bus.

                                  By then, I'm panicking because I had no idea where we going, for how long or far, and the only option was to stay on the bus because we had already gotten to the open road outside of the city limits, and
                                  there would be no place to go if I they dropped me off in a farm village or on the side of the road at midnite.

                                  I ended up being on the bus, on a little ledge in the front, for almost 4.5 hours before the driver finally told the conductor to open the door. They finally begrudgingly told me that they were going to stop in some random bus station along the way in an hour or so; I had no idea where the bus station was and was worried about having to spend the whole night at a small, rural bus station, especially as foreign female alone.
                                  It was only after we got to the random bus station that the horrible driver opened the door and let me off. Fortunately, I was able to catch the one bus going to my destination, ang got on after having been locked in, terrified, and cheated.

                                  This was a very scary situation because the driver and conductor literally locked me onto the bus, with no seat,for 5 hours, and no idea where I was going or what it would be like when I got there, late at night.

                                  Is this how VRL treats its female and foreign passengers? Is this hoe private transportation companies in India oprate? Obviuosly so, and for this reason VRL needs to remove the "Frost & Sullivan Award for Best Practices" from its website; and I will do my best to NEVER use VRL again.

                                  I’m shocked that this could happen on a VRL bus - I thought they were
                                  supposed to be an industry standard, professional and better than the government buses - oh
                                  well, so much for that!

                                    Hi,
                                    I am Mahesh Gune from Tech Mahindra Ltd. My parents had sent a parcel (50 KG -Rice) from Koppa, Karnataka. On 5th March, we had booked the parcel for courier for "Hinjewadi Road, Pune". Parcel had reached Pune on 9th. But, no one communicated related to product until and unless we called to VRL. We come to know that the parcel was delivered to Phursangi branch instead of Hinjewadi. I called minimum of 10 to 15 times to Hinjewadi office and requested them to deliver as requested. Each time person takes the request and when we call on next day, we come to know that parcel is still in the same branch and no action had been taken. Till now 15th of March, no one taken action to deliver the product. I can not raise complaint in VRL site. No one picks up call on time to answer. No escalation path to escalate my complaint. No one is worried about the delivery. The person who picks up phone doesnt answer properly.

                                    To whom i need to escalate? To whom I need to contact? It's hopeless organization and logistic company. It's not my first experiance. This is my 3rd experiance. Twice in Mumbai, and once in Pune.

                                    Please send it to as many and make them aware of the promises they make to the people while accepting the order.

                                      Respected Sir /Madam,


                                      Hi, this is Smitha here. I had booked a bus from Bijapur to Bangalore on the 15th of January scheduled at 8:45pm. Since the bus had a technical problem, it departed at 10pm. But, the bus reached Bangalore well before time at 9am for which the driver needs to be appreciated. The problem i faced in my bus journey is that of the bed bugs, due to which i could not sleep peacefully. Therefore, I kindly request you to take some steps regarding the matter mentioned above, so that, the other passengers will not have to experience the same kind of difficulty in future.
