Hello

Am malathi working as HR Recruiter on 13th Dec i travelled from belgaum to bangalore the bus seats are full of bed bugs i couldnt sleep, whole night we couldnt sleep . the people also were rude towards the passengers . why are'nt they taking any action, is the managing team of vrl is so bad ... the bus number was 3623...........

    Dear all,

    VRL is cheating people by increasing double/tripple the normal fare during holidays/weekends. Is anybody there to stop them. How can they cheat like this????. Sometimes the fare crossed 1000Rs to travel between belgaum and bangalore. I suggest everyone stop travelling in VRL. Please take necessary action on them.

    We have some problems that casused from that crises happend in karnataka stae in last one yaear.Untill we ar not received product and did'nt receive any infermation regard the quest net bussiness so for that our partners will trethned us infront of my house like refond our money yourself...like this. And they also they did'nt able to do this bussiness without upline support and wihout company regional office and all.

    I have booked the ticket for Bidar to Bangalore, i requested the user to give me the ticket from Bidar to bangalore at which leave 7.00pm from bidar and he given the same and confirmed me that you have to report to office 7.00 pm in bidar and i reported the offcie on the day of journey but there is no bus for that time when i asked the agent in bidar he told there is no bus at all from bidar at 7.00 pm, as your ticket booked wrongly and he confirmed me that the ticked is from bidar to bangalore and boarding point he changed and given as Gulbarga, (1)but i have never asked the user to give me boarding point gulbarga, (2) and before leaving the counter i asked thrice to the user who given me ticket he told it is correct because in ticket there was print that booking branch as Gulbarga, then i left the counter after his confirmation that bus is from bidar at 7.00 pm.(3)i missed the bus and misssed my office because of there mistake and i asked the action on this issue they told meet the place you booked the ticket.(4) and the next day i went to booked office i showed the ticket then they behave so rude that there is no mistake from our side there were talking wolgur words and i asked what about my money any solution for this then they are telling nothing we can do on this, and the very important point i noted the day i visited the office the ticket has to be booked by CLEARK or USER ->MAHESH S when i meet him he was not that person the ticket was booked and given me, after i enquired there was anothere person used his login and given me the ticket that day and he is office boy there i shown them this the guy given me the ticket even they also told that he only given, so finaly there was big mistake FROM THERE SIDE due to which i suffred lot I LOST MY OFFICE I LOST MY MONEY from the booking office there was worst response when i visited, due my health problem am not able follow up this issue, DETAILS OF THE TICKET PNR NO 4118471 BOOKING OFFICE ADDRESS--> ASHOK TRAVELAS (ARC) ANAND RAO CIRCLE, booking date 10/09/2010 1.46 pm, and i have TICKET WITH ME WHICH WAS TOTALY WRONG PRINT OUT AND THE PERSON GIVEN ME THE TICKE ALSO WRONG PERSON IN THE COUNTER DUE HIS MISS COMMUNICATION AND TICKET MISS PRINT OUT, I LOST MY VALUABLE OFFICE WORK AND MONEY, Please let me know the solution for this issue, WHO IS THE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PLEASE CONTACT ME or confirm me the status what to do further

    This is Prithvi a resident from RR Nagar, Bangalore.I travelled in your bus from Bangalore to Shirdi on 14th of April and returned on 17th of April.I was stressed a lot after travelling in your bus .It was a 20 hour journey from Bangalore to Shirdi.The other government busses take only about 16-18 hours.The main reason for this delay are the packages.The drivers take a lot of time in loading and unloading stuff.So, this is a kind of suggestion to you to improve your care towards the passengers than you show on the packages.Kindly improve your way of handling the passengers.
    Hi All, VRL management in Pune is the worst they don’t know how to talk with a women properly. Once I booked ticket from Pune to Hubli (female seat) as per the Terms & Conditions of VRL Travels, Co-Passenger will be a lady only not mail, but while travelling they had confirmed the mail passenger, when i enquired about this to the management they say if you want you can cancell the ticket there are more passengers waiting, management is telling this at the time of travel this is . this is ridicules shame to VRL travels they make the rules & break the rules which is foolish, I never expected this from VRL,

    VRL Travels — Wrong Bus Provided

    I had booked Multiaxil bus to Bidar on 4th of june 2011 but they had provided volvo bus which took 16 hours to reach Bidar which an ordinary KSRTC red bus takes.
    I agree to this.
    i was travelling through VRL buses on my GOA trip. First while moving from Bangalore to GOA we board in bus no. KA25C7741 but there no body came to us asking for ticket check if i would have missed also then no body had enquired with us. Finally when coming up from GOA to Bangalore we were not aware where they will keep buses for check in. when i called person over there in GOA to check bus starting point he argued. I was asking with him whether you count for your passenger whether they checked in or not . same thing when i asked driver of Bus no. KA25C 7745 he has also replied ruthlessly & asked me to check in that's it as i was troubling him asking such question.

    Service is very poor of VRL buses. They can spoil your journey you can miss your bus also. Reply what i got from the driver if you will not come in time at place we will call you & give 5 min time to check in other wise bus will depart.
    vrl really cheating.i booked ticket frm hydbad to banglore on 28th, b4 dat i phned to custumer care n asked dat, my wife n my aunt n a small kind will catch the bus in jadcherla, then i got responce frm them ok no problem, after booking the ticket they are not responding, along with a small how people can...i cald all the blove nos...on 28th...[protected], , , , [protected], , ,[protected], , , , [protected]
    They said that the bus is cancelled adding much trouble to me when i was about to move to their boarding point at T. Nagar. now news of refund

      People travel by VRL not be Choice but by forced decision due to tickets not available on other transport agencies.
      This is the 8th time i am facing this issue. there are lots of bed bugs in the bus. also the time taken to deliver to a destination is too long. recently, i travelled from Ilkal to Bangalore. te bus was suppoed to arrive at Ilkal by 10 pm. it arrived at 10.45 pm. the driver said there is no guarantee on the time it takes to reach bangalore. However, latest it would reach by 9 am. but i reached Bangalore at 10. 45 om.. also, the bus was supposed to drop at Lalbagh. but the driver got down and did not turn up for an hour. i had to miss my office and an important meeting justy for that stupod driver and stupid service.

        I’m Prof. A S Kshatriya from Symbiosis, Pune. I traveled last night from Belgaum to Pune using your service. I regret to say that you are a poorly managed group. Your service was pathetic and attitude of people to look after our complaints was even shameful. The seats were full of bed bugs. We could not sit let alone sleeping. We requested for change of bus, but in vain. The driver was not bothered at all. Kindly take a note of this. I must be compensated for all the inconvinience and hardship.

        Hello, This is regarding the seat maintenance in VRL buses (Bellary to Bangalore). One cannot have a peaceful journey in VRL buses due to bed bugs. Next day you are to work with sleepy head. A year back i had raised the same complaint but still no action taken. I have complained to service providers informally also. Very bad take care of customers.
        I booked the ticket from Mumbai to Belgaum in VRL on 11/02/2010 and my journey date was on 24/02/2010. My PNR number was 3193628 and my seat number was 25 that was in the middle of the bus. On the 24th they said that they have cancelled the bus what i booked and they gave me the back seat that too on the wheel. The journey was really hectic and i had body ache one the next day. Hence forth i never suggest any1 to travel on VRL.
        I was travelling from Bangalore to Ilkal with my 3yr old baby. We had paid 650 for one seat since it was some festival season. Bus had some problem and he stopped once we crossed Hospet which was around 6AM. Driver said they are arranging for a but and till 8:30 there was no bus. I had pay for my travel from hospet till Ilkal, came standing since all buses were full. Pathetic service by VRL guys. Have decided not to travel by it.
        I have seen bed bugs in sleeper coach bus (pune - belgaum bus) so many times resently, so kindly replace the beds & dont loose customer interest on VRL service.

        I hada very bad experience of Bed Bugs while travellinh from Belgaum to Bangalore Bus No KA25 4337 and its my sincere request to the management who is responsible for looking in to this, to take appropriate action, it no onger will affect passengers like me and make everybods journey pleasent.and good.VRL travels is reouted and maintain its status

          Respected Sir,

          I and my husband have booked bust tickets on 26th of October 2009 from Belgaum to Pune for sleeper couch seats which are in 2nd row. Journey date was 27th of October 2009. As I have some personal problem I can't travel on the seats which come at rare side of the bus. VRL has sent a message on 27th morning telling that the bus has cancelled and we were given seats in another bus. As per officials the has some problem hence they had to cancel. But I saw their site, on that day only 3 people had booked the but hence that bus was cancelled. In the new bus we have given seats in the last row. We have been talking with the VRL officers since morning to arrange for front seats. Company neither did anything for this nor it was taking any kind of responsibility. Also the officers were very talking in rude, harsh and sarcastic way. They even scolded us and said they will even not allow us to board the bus in the mid night. Bus was scheduled on 11.15 PM but bus started one and half hour late. Seeing the way the officers were behaving with no option we had to board the bus with seats forcefully given by them.
          Please do the needful.

            About Departure & arrival timings

            Hello ,

            I had travelled from Gulbarga to Bangalore last evening. The bus left at 9PM (Timing was 8:45), thats OK. But the time i it reached bangalore it was 10AM in morning.
            My complaint is that the travell fare was double the amount it use to be on tha date of journey, let it be as i decided to travel just 6 hours early am ready to pay that amount. But let the passenger know about at least approximate Arrival &...

            As I had no idea of my boarding location Davangere in Banglore. On Saturday, 17th Oct I called up at the provided contact Number[protected] to inquire about my boarding point. The person on the other side told me that the bus will ply from Ananda Circle in Bangalore. He asked about the travelling passenger name, seat number & journey time for confirmation. Finally he told me to come to Anand Circle at 9.30PM on journey date to catch the bus. When I called at same number[protected] Hour prior to my journey, this time I got reply that Davangere is the actual boarding point and not Ananda Circle.

            Sir, then on phone I was told that Davangere is another district in Karnataka, which is located around 265kms far from Bangalore. To reach Davengere it takes around 6 hours. The information printed in the ticket where Boarding location is Banglore & Landmark is Davaengere are 100% misleading and confusing. Even on my first enquiry call on Saturday, I wasn't provided detailed information regarding boarding point and how to reach Davangere.

            After these conversations when I felt very much disappointed to know that I had missed my bus, I called up VRL Travels Manager at his mobile number [protected]. He didn't accept any flaws from his side and put all blames on me. Even when I asked to do either some arrangements for my journey or refund of my ticket he turned up with big no. He told me bear all losses, there will be no refund and to buy another ticket in order to carry out my journey.

            Sir, all these conversations were on phone. In hassle to get another ticket to Pune I wasn't able to go to the VRL office in bangalore. On phone they totally denied to accept their faults which made me suffer at other end. I was supposed to reach by 7.30AM in Pune but instead was able to make it by 12.30PM.

            Please address to VRL Travels monopoly and rude behaviour towards its customer & penalize them. I would like to get refund of total fare and compensation for sufferings incurred at my end.

              I had recently travelled on a VRL Bus from Bijapur to Bangalore on 29.05.2009 on bus no KA-25 C 986. While the bus was parked at a stop for refreshment, my entire luggage got stolen due to ineptitutde by the driver and bus conductor. They did not lock the bus, I had gone to the bathroom leaving my luggage behind after confirmation from the driver that he would be locking the bus. I recommend to others to beware of the drivers and conductors on this service.

              This is VRL comopany is often do these kind of things. These people are having monopoly in karnakata, hence they just do not CARE anything about the passangers.

              Any one who knows direct mailID/Cell number of Higher Authorities as i want speak directly to them. Last day (5-Jan-2010) i was traveling from koppal to bangalore, per rule bus should stop at hospet then chitradurga but Driver stiopped bet Kudligi and Durga
              for 30 mins for Tea when i asked me regarding this he said give complaint at office. i have to teach him a lesson note you i have to catch 6.30 Lalbhagh train from Bangalore which takes me to chennai on time so that i can go to Office
              Gold chain stolen

              19 February 2020 while travelling from Ahemedsbad to bangalore my gold chain is stolen. When asked for the CCTV footage, initially they told, the footage is in the hard drive in the bus itself.
              I got a call after some time telling we checked and the CCTV footage is not available.
              Somebody from vrl has stolen my gold chain.
              Bloody thieves.

                I had a horrible journey from Bellary to Bangalore on 8 dec 08 due to bed bugs in the seats of VRL bus. Whole of the journey i was unable to sit with peace. I was only scratching my hands and legs which turned to red harsh rashes in the morning. This is 3rd time which iam facing this issue. I was always hoping that this would be the last time to happen but it always happens. Private buses should be maintained for cleanliness. Please check whether all the seats are cleaned before the passengers enter the bus. This is to be considered seriously as this is the issue of many passenegers.

                I strongly agree with the complaint. I had similar experience months back when I travelled in VRL bus from Bangalore to Belgaum.
                And most of the times in Mahesh travels. I often go to my native from Bangalore to Belgaum in Mahesh travels and always I had the bad experience with the bed bugs.I had to suffer like anything till I reach Belgaum. I would like to strongly recommend the private bus services to have a cleanliness check. The surprise is the bus looks clean but I dont know from where the bed bugs start coming out after 10 in the night biting all the night, unable to sit and bear the irritation of their bite...and again god knows where they disappear as dawn starts. I had to keep scratching my hands, legs..which will start swelling after sometime.. sleepless whole night...very horrible...
                My request is please make sure private buses start regular cleaning checkup everyday in all corners of the seats and windows etc...(favorite places of bedbugs.. ).
                Someone should consider this request seriously...especially for Mahesh travels Bangalore to Kolhapur..
                I too agree with this complaint. I travelled in VRL bus from Bangalore to Sirsi on 22/04/09 and came back on 27/04/09. Both days I had a horrible journey because of the bed bugs. I shopwed a bed bug to the driver. Bus number I travelled is 6154 (route : bangalore to Sirsi).
                I totally agree with the above complaints...no bus is spared of bedbugs...i thought atleast VRL wouldnt have..but yesterday i killed 4 very big bedbugs on my trip from belgaum to mangalore by a VRL bus and i couldnt sleep most of the trip.Ganesh Travels wins hands down for having the most bedbugs in their buses.Its time that travel companies take their customers seriously!!!

                I strongly agree with the comments above. In all my last few trips I have suffered due to the bed bugs. I don't think they are taking any action on this. The bus looks clean but the bed bugs problem is very bad.
                yesterday I travelled from Belgaum to Mlore in a multi axle volvo of VRL(bus no-MH04G 8816). my seats was filled with bed bugs, and were bitting me whole night. I complained to the driver and the conductor who were least bothered. I simply do not understand why these bus operator come up with new high end buses when they cant maintain basic cleaniness. We pay a good amount on the ticket in return have to travel sleepless night with health risk and these bus operators simply are least bothered about the customers needs until they get thier money. Can anyone help me on this.We have to take this up with the right authorities or else nothing is going to change.
                i have faced the same problem in the bus travel from Pune to Baroda and back using VRL Buses. There are bed bugs and cockroaches in the bus!!!
                My neck and hands were covered in rashes by morning and this has happened many times. the most resent one being 3rd Feb 2013, bus no -MH04G8818.
