Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I ordered Redmi Note 11 on Feb 11, 2022 through MI Store application vide order number [protected] and payment for the same was done through Net banking (pre-paid). I received the delivery on Feb 13, 2022 by Delhivery Courier. On opening the package, I found out instead of mobile I was delivered soaps. I immediately raised the complaint through chat (WOIN[protected]) and was told I would receive a call back within 4 hours from investigation team. I didn’t receive any calls yet but number of times I complained through email, I received standard reply from MI investigation team stating 2 reasons:
1.) They had investigated the incident from their end and found that the product was delivered in intact condition.
2.) As they delivered product in intact condition they can't go beyond Company's policies.
I’m astounded to see how MI investigation team concluded that the product was delivered in intact condition without even contacting the person taking the delivery. Also they aren't providing any details related to investigation they've taken but only final unilateral decision.
It seems MI's investigation officers are trying to escape their responsibility by simply turning down the customer's complaint in entirety without even giving a reason to customer as if there is no way such things can happen and it is always the customer who is trying to defraud the company. From this incident it seems MI doesn't have any after sale service and grievance redressal department which cause psychological and financial stress to the customer as they need to run between Police Station & Consumer Protection and Action Committee still they can't get the product for which they've paid their hard earned money. As I'm a student from middle class family Rs. 12, 499 is big amount which I paid to MI for the Phone but I didn't received the phone and need to wash hands from phone and hard earned money.
I'm writing to you in hope that you will take corrective action and help me bring out of this cheating/fraud and get back Redmi Note 11 as per my order.
