I met with an accident while riding my Yamaha Ray Z Scooter on September 11, 2015. On September 12, 2015 I gave my scooter for repairing at the nearest Yamaha service station which is located near Kundanoor Junction, NH-47, Maradu, Kochi, Kerala. When i gave it for servicing they had told me that they would return the scooter in about a month after repairing it. They also said that i would receive the insurance claim for the accident. Even after the date on which the scooter was promised to be returned has expired 3 months ago, still they havent returned the scooter. Each time we call them and enquire about it, they say that the parts of the scooter has not yet come, or they postpone the delivery to a week later and they never give it back. Please try resolving the issue and ask them to redeliver it as soon as possible.

    Hi, I have purchased a YAMAHA FZ version 1 2015 model from the showroom: Sprint Yamaha, #55/8, Hosur Main Road, Kudlu Gate, Hongasandra, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560068. At the first time itself the delayed the delivery of the bike about one month without provide proper a date After I took the vehicle, with in the first 1000km itself it is braked down, Not starting even with kicker, and if it starts not moving. And instead of service guise came and took the vehicle, I took it to the service center by walk more than 10kms. After the service the told it is solved and will be fine. But after three months at the 4041km it beaked down again same like the previous incident by last Sunday, 29th Nov 2015. With this faulty product of YAMAHA how can I go for a long trip ?. Now I think it is really better if I was brought a bicycle instead of YAMAHA FZ.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your replay and i will sent those details by email. I would like to let you know one more thing that I got a call from service center now( 4.30 pm 02 Dec 2015), after two days from the day they took the bike to service center, and informed me that they couldn't find what the issue is, and now the bike is running fine. And they are not sure it will happen again or note.

    6th time, today same issue came and this is the third battery gone bad, What should I do ?. Now the warranty is over so that you can have how much money you want, The YAMAHA FZ is the wrong choice in my life.

      Hi, My name is Chetan Prakash Pawle, I purchased new bike (FZS-FI) from one of your showroom Kamla Yamaha at Lower parel dated 11th Nov 2015. They delivered bike with TC number, and they instructed me that will provide you register number within 3- 4 working days. So on 18th Nov I visited showroom, they said your no. Will be delay because of the RTO issue. So I spoke to Gen.Manager Mr. Zubin Master, He said will assure you that you will get registered number On 20th Nov so on that day they again give me reason that your documents has been misplaced by RTO Agent, so again you have to submit your documents, I agreed, so on Sunday 22nd Nov again I submitted all my documents to Executive Mr. Mahendra, And he said you will definitely get the number on Wednesday, 25th Nov 2015. So I visited today, 26th November again to showroom, they said your vehicle not yet register and no. Will be delay. This is the third time in last 15 days, I am continuously visiting the showroom, But manager and the team continuously giving me an excuses, Today I got the information that on 26th November my documents was submitted, so you will get no. on 30th November Evening, Now I don't trust this peoples Because of this, In last 18 days I am suffering. One of my friend took the same bike on same day from other sub dealer, If he got his vehicle number, why shouldn't I. I don't want the bike, I want Yamaha to refund all my money which I paid.         Dear sir/ma'am,

        Myself Amruth MD

        I have bought a yamaha sz rr, green color from JMB yamaha near skywalk, chennai. And I regularly use to give my bike for service in they service center itself, recently, that is 3 week before I gave my bike for general service, over there I also did my 3rd service change my oil and i did general service regularly, but 2 weeks before my bike didnt move a bit due to clutch damaged, so I immediately gave my bike to near by service center which is in Ayanavaram called Walters yamaha.
        They have inspected my bike and they told me that I have not changes my bike oil from the beginning so my clutch is damaged. I really can't able digest it because I have paid to JMB yamaha to change oil but they didnt change the oil and also charged me for oil.
        Now because cheap behavior my bike got spoiled.
        I spoke with JMB service person he told that he has changed oil, I'm very sure something went wrong, how is it possible I have give maintain my bike, I use to give regular service by changing oil and others which is required, and recently I didnt general service on 4700kms, now suddenly they are saying clutch is gone and I have to the whole assembly.

        Is this the quality of JMB or product of yamaha??
        For this I have sent several mails to [protected]@yamaha-motor-india.com
        They responded to my mail but no use my issue is not solved yet!
        Some people calling me as if they are trying to help and asking all the brief explanation but they won't retrieve back..
        This is my situation, its almost 3 weeks over by now and my is still with JMB yamaha and they insisting me to pay 3000rs for changing all those components,
        How can I pay my money for others mistakes??
        Is this how yamaha treat they customers??

        I'm not satisfied with your support Yamaha,

        I didn't get any such thing called HELP so far from you but got a life threatening message and also ABUSING WORDS from jmb yamaha service head Mr. Aravind.
        I need serious answer I need to talk you, I'm done with this service persons and they using abusing languages.. And I'm tried of calling your customer care number.. I need talk to your yamaha technical person who really knows about engine and stuff.

        Mr. Aravind really don't know any about engines, they can cheat on a normal people but not on me with they build up stories. Because I'm a Mechanical Graduate engineer.

        Yes, my clutch plates have won out because of they cheating by taking my money and not pouring fresh oil.

        I have a recorded voice of Walters yamaha technical person saying oil not changed properly. And also I have a recorded voice of Mr. Aravind which captures using ABUSING language. For my knowledge customer service has to possess some hospitality but in here it's entirely different with JMB yamaha.

        If you didn't take proper action on my issue or didn't take action on Mr. Aravind of JMB yamaha.
        I'll submit the call recording of Walters yamaha service person saying my clutch is gone because of not changing oil and also using ABUSING on me to the CONSUMER COURT.

        If you really want to help, please call me or send any technical person from yamaha to sort out my issue in real not on phone call..
        This is not because of money but these people are destroying you, your name and trust we had so far.

        I hope you can understand my issue and I'm not satisfied with your service. I need valid answers, not build stories...!

          Respected Sir / Madam,
          I am a huge fan of Yamaha Motorbikes and using the SZ-X motorbike presently. But, unfortunately there is one Yamaha Service Centre (PAL AUTO CENTRE), in Bolpur city of Birbhum district of West Bengal state and it is snatching and looting the money of Yamaha users in the name of Yamaha Motorbike company. Consequentially, it has damaged the market of Yamaha here and the people is going for another bike company, because of better services.

          On, 23rd August, 2015, I visited the PAL AUTO CENTRE for changing chassis around the head light and speed meter cable. They charged me as per the accurate MRP of three parts (receipt attached as attachment). But, I was shocked when they charge me the labour cost.

          They charged me Rs. 100 + 14% service tax = 114 rupees as labour charge, which was totally wrong and illegal. They also demanded they it was as per the Yamaha Service Charge. When I asked them for chart, they refused.

          I wonder -
          1. Do they have the authority to impose service tax of Central Govt. ?
          2. Why they don't have service charge chart ?
          3. 114 rupees charge is just for 10 minutes work ? Where a full servicing charge of bike is Rs. 200 only !!
          4. Why they are providing manual bills, which do not have any authenticity ?
          5. Why don't they have any Yamaha trained Mechanics ?
          6. Why they are behaving with the customers in such a inhuman way ?

          So, it's a keen request to you to take some immediate serious steps against such mismanagement, as there is no nearby service centre of Yamaha. I have to always visit 30 Kms far for the maintenance of my bike.

            Hi, I am Lenin n ihave given my bike Fzs v2 for 4th free service In perfect riders service centre which is opp to lalbagh passport office with the complaints that chain sound, mileage drop, pick up, n major is bike getting off every time while riding... But What they have done I dono but nothing is been resolved still m facing the same issue last time also the same thing was happened... For every service u ppl will charge so why u r providing the gud service... Wat matters whether if it is free or paid service...anyway we have to pay for it rite...the very worst service... I took the delivery on 12.10.2015. At the time of delivery, I got challan and invoice only. More than one month over, till now, I didn't get my bike insurance and registration paper.                 Hi, i purchased a yamaha FZ-S V-2 bike in bhadravathi town Vijaya motors showroom(karnataka State) previously this showroom is sub-branch of Om ganesh motors Shimoga. I got accident on may 27th morning in my hometown tarikere, After accident arround 2pm afternoon i took my bike and went to the showroom, the showrrom owner told to me you go and take rest all of the things i will take care (further process i will do, no need to worry about insurance and all). while purchasing the bike showroom itself doing insurance and all. i did insurance there itself why you people cheating like this. After 1 month i went to showroom again the owner told to me am already applied insurance you have to pay money first later you will get insurance money. i paid money on that day itself, still i din't got my insurance amount. After i called to insurance company he told we din't got any claims from your side. after i called to showroom owner he is telling i sent all the insurance copy ( claim report) to main branch Om ganesh motors Shimoga, if i ask to main branch that fellow he is telling we din't get any claim report from Bhadravathi showroom. i have all the document and records what they telling in phone (phone Conversation)

                  I have bought Yamaha fazer fi v2.0 in march 2015, from next month I am facing this self start issue.. After riding 20-30 km, head light gets automatically off and after 1-2 min all display light turns off.. Only one yellow light blinks.. If I press self, tik tik sound comes but nothing happens..

                  I have complained to the dealer, went to the service centre.. After service, the machanic told me I will not face such issue, so I can go for long drive..I was 60 km away from my home and bike stopped..not even a single bike was blinking.. I put my bike in 2nd gear and started running but nothing happened.. It was around 1 AM then one auto driver came, we started my bike with clutch gear running .. Next day again I went to service centre they told me to keep my bike for 2 days.so that they can ride and resolve the issue. After 2 days of repairing, I am still facing the same issue.. I am frustrated and tired.. If the bike does not start in morning, I go to the local bike repairing shop..he starts my bike and I give 10 rs to that guy..

                    I m really not satisfied with yamaha fz-s, yamaha use worst quality material to make bike. Its torally low quality fiber material, within a year all fiber parts are damage because of low quality. I suggest all peoples that dont buy this kind of lowest grade bike .                       I am a software engineer staying in Bangalore currently. Recently I purchased Yamaha Alpha from one of the dealers in Bangalore. The details of this dealer are mentioned below:

                      Orion Motors,
                      518, Hosur Main Road, Opp. Forum, Bangalore - 560029, Karnataka, India.

                      I am sorry to say that I am extremely disappointed with the way they have given the service. I have 2 main complaints about this dealer:

                      1. This Yamaha dealer told me (2 days after purchasing the vehicle) that we will provide you only empty number plate & you have to get the stickers of the registration number from outside & stick them by yourself. Our servicemen will not take care of this.
                      2. The sales girl who was dealing with me told me while taking the delivery of the vehicle that they don't have service book(or service manual) in stock right now & will give me the service book when I come for the first servicing. I asked her how & when shall I come for first servicing if I don't have service book & I also asked her to write me a mail saying that they don't have service book right now.
                      She did not agree for writing a mail. Then I don't know from where suddenly by some magic a stock of at least 30 service books appeared in their cupboard & she took one of them & gave it to me. What shall I conclude from this? In spite of having stock of service books, she was not ready to give it to me initially. Why???

                      In past I have purchased vehicles from Honda, TVS & Hero Honda dealers. None of these dealers have ever told me that you have to get stickers from outside & we will provide only empty number plate.
                      However this is the first time I have purchased Yamaha vehicle.
                      It doesn't even take more than 150Rs. MAX to print these stickers. For just a matter of 150Rs., if the dealer is behaving like this with their customer, then why should customer prefer buying Yamaha vehicle.

                      This is seriously causing a loss of trust in Yamaha.

                      If you are not taking any action against them then give me one reason why should I recommend my friends/relatives to buy a Yamaha vehicle.

                      I am expecting a positive reply from your side as I trust Yamaha & believe that Yamaha has good ethics & values its customer.

                      Now it is up to you to prove my trust right or wrong.

                        I bought FZS blue core two months back due to bad second service, engine oil is started leaking and then i approched peral yamaha service centre they took my bike and kept two days with them saying that we need to get confirmation for warranty from company and i recieved the bike at 9pm after two days then after coming to home again i found the same problem today bike was stopped suddenly when i took to local mechanic he said it may be because of failure in self reley and if i touch you wont be getting the warranty so he suggested to start the bike by pushing it in keeping second gare

                              I gave my bike for servicing on sat @ 1:30 pm. After that service center mechanic told me he give the bike tomorrow (Sunday) @5 pm. I went again on sunday to get deliver my bike. Again the mechanic told there are lot of issue related to bike wiring tomorrow by 5 pm (Monday) you will get the bike.

                              On monday i gave new battery in service center. When i gone back on monday, mechanic and the manager over there told me bike is not yet repair tomorrow you will get the bike i. E on tuesday.

                              Again on tuesday there was no call from them (Bike is repair) you can take the bike. I got my bike on wednesday.

                              Thursday night again there was same issue which i was having earlier.

                              @friday morning - i went and asked why this happening if you have repair my bike.
                              Again the yahama company employee (Rahul and sandip) were checking and observing my bike.

                              They told me leave the bike in service center they people want to observe and take *trails* of bike.

                              If the bike was with them for 4 days. Then what did they observe and repair.

                              On monday - they changed the bike auto part called rectifier / regulator.

                              Second time on friday morning - they changed again one auto spare part called as "cutout —"

                              Again when new part was changed - they are saying its battery problem (Battery which is new changed is warranty for 2nd time)

                              They asked me leave the bike in service center again they have to observe.

                              Mechanics are only keeping the bike with them and nothing doing. If i am standing with them and keeping an eye then only they are working. And charging a lot.

                                My son registered complaint on the day of incident ie[protected] on yamaha helpline the complaint number is IC-21102-J5G5. It is regarding that My son Mr Sanjay Sharma purchase FZ-16 on[protected] from Shiva Moters west jyoti nager Mojpur Road Near Durga Puri Delhi and on[protected] when my son was driving it it is automatically burned, hardly he control the fire with help of others and call the police through 100 number call. The whole incidence has been conveyed to your office as well as dealer. With is 10 days it is got burned due to your manufacturing defect. So please replace it at once without any further delay to avoid any legal complicity. the whole papers have been collected by Insurance agent from our home. But still I am sufferer and waiting the response from yamaha motors.

                                  Yamaha is big name when it come to bike Manufactures but i had a worst experience with Yamaha.
                                  I have purchase YAMAHA FZ 16 on 18/10/2015 from one of the authorised dealer" Shiva Motors" located in west jyoti nagar delhi . On 27/10/2015 when i was going to my office through bike, the bike catches severe fire from the engine side. I informed it to Yahama service center but instead of helping they gave me a weird answer that " Yamaha Workshop is closed on Tuesday" .Somehow i manage to control over fire by my own. I also lodge F.I.R about same.
                                  Its a humble request to kindly replace my bike and give me a suitably tested one.

                                    Hi My Name is Pawan Shetty, I bought Yamaha FZ-S 1.5 month back and did the first servicing a week ago. No doubt the bike is very nice but while giving the bike for servicing, there were some noises from the main stand and from the brakes. The guy in the servicing said it will take 1 day for servicing as there were lot of bikes. I received the bike after 2 days and in the same condition as it was given. Even it was not washed. My brother took the bike and asked them to washed for which they replied the pump is not working and we can wash it afterwards for free as it is a part of 1st servicing. After 1 week on 17.10.2015, I gave a call to service center regarding the wash, and the reply was the pump is not working and I should visit them on Monday, (this means that they have not washed any bike in last 1 week), I am working professional and don't have time to visit them on weekdays and on weekends the pump doesn't work. I even don't think there is anything done to my bike in 2 days no improvement. I don't know why they take so many bikes for servicing if they are not capable enough to handle it.                                       Sir, My name is vishal vilochan and i purchased yamaha ray-z, frame no ME12NC016D2017606, engine no- 2NC1016830 on dated 30th june 2013. My registration no is DL 13SN 2309. I brought the scooty to bihar in march 2015 in Jehanabad and since then i have done 3 servicing from M/s Trimurti Motors, vasudev bhavan, horilganj, jehanabad, bihar-804408 on dated 18mar 2015, 10 july 2015 and 7 oct 2015. They changed my yamaha lube on 10 july 2015 at 11000 km, when i took it for the next servicing on dated 07th oct 2015 at 11302 km, they told me that my yamaha lube has burnt and needs changing even after 302 km of my bike run. When i told them that this is misleading and yamaha promises atleast 1000km before the new change of yamaha lube and that they must be stealing customer in the engine oil change then they started fighting and said to complain as they dont care. When i asked about the reason for change of yamaha lube after 302 km of run then they had no answer. So either they are stealing customer cause they dont change the yamaha lube in front of the customer and later on they just fight with the custome.. Kindly look into this matter because this is the worst experience of mine with yamah service centre. They have faulty customer service and always misleading and misbeviour with the customer.                                         This is a complaint against Yamaha Bike service station (Pune Factory Shop-Wakdewadi, Pune). I have had multiple instances with same service center(Pune Factory Shop-Wakdewadi, Pune). Service has always been a disappointment at this service station whether its before the bike service or after that. Instance 1: [Date: 14/02/2015] Gave my bike for service and asked to change my bike's indicator socket. They didn't change it and said " Sir baad me kara lena". And when visited[Date:15/03/2015] them again to get it changed they said we can't do it right now get it changed on next service. Instance 2: [Date: 28/08/2015] Went for service again, they were going under some renovation, so they said we can't do the service today, will give your bike in 2-3 days or come after 7-8 days once the service area get restored. Instance 3: [Date: 07/10/2015] Today I visited them again after 1.5 months and asked them for change of parts, again came across with same answer, "We can't change the parts or wash your bike today if you want you can give your bike for basic service or come after 2-3 days". I don't know what they really do with basic service. They don't even clean the bike properly, you can find sludge smeared around the corners, don't understand what actually they do. I am highly dissatisfied with their service as well as client handling. Kindly look into the matter and provide a solution. If I have to travel far distances to get my bike serviced then the existence of the service station is not justified as well as maintenance of Yamaha bike for me will become a pain. I would gladly move to different providers and also spread the word. YOU CAN'T EXPECT FACTORY OUTLET OF FALLING SHORT OF SPARE PARTS.
