[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

Sony Ericsson — delay and failure in repair of a smartphone!!

My workorder number is SE[protected] .I had given my SE Xperia X10 on 14/7/11 as its front panel was damaged and the committed to give it back to me in 10-15 days. Its been 25 days and they say parts are not available. They do not take calls and give no responses. I tried their delhi office but they are not able to help. Why should one invest 30K in mobile phones with companies such as sony ericsson when they cannot service them??? Its causing a lot of distress. I am leaving the country and i need the phone before 17th of aug 2011. Its been 5 months that i have bought the phone; I simply cannot forget it and go 4 another one.

its no wonder that the Sony erricsson company is cheating the people around, because its not only you or me are facing this, they have done enough by doing this to lot of people and have and eared a lot, as per my experience i had bought more then 15 mobiles and other products from them, and its in my junk now, more over their products are very expensive comparing to other, and the fact is that once they sell their stuff they are not bothered about the customers, and the customer care is only for the name, as the staff are payed their salary from time to time in either ways, and it can be observed that the Warranty period is 1 year and they know the product may last till that year, and within the warranty the problems are 10% and its miner, and and even though if its major they get it done without any loss as they have already earned they double selling their products, and rest and they main profit is that if they don't have any customer complain within a year then the way of earing money starts, this means that their product is reliable only for one year, they charge heavily since no choice and the spares and service should be don't by the Sony erricson some are forced to pay what ever amount they ask for it or else they have to through it away, i have faced the repair cost is almost the 90% of the new mobile because they said the mother board is faulty just for a dim display in my mobile, i did not have choice then that, but i also made a mistake that i could have a gone to a second hand mobile to change the mother board or use the same where it was less then half of the new mobile, once the warranty period is finish and go to the service center for repair they say its old model and its discontinued now and could not be repaired, and also say this is good for nothing and advice you to buy a new one, i said if this goes on then what can we do with the products we buy should it be thrown, for that the reply comes if you people don't throw away this mobiles they how will their new mobile get sold and there be will no costumers for their products in future, the costumer care is only name sake and in real they don't care costumers, they say they cant take much head ache in this because the company is paying salary whats ever, and they invest a lot for their products, so this are they way and answers get from them, so i advice and suggest every one not to go for it and if we find all the people who suffer and go through this should get together and file a FIR on this cheating company
are these complaints got resolved or just people got posting and just goes on...

is there any action been done then that has to be displayed here with proper justification and proofs which makes people more proactive

I suggest every one who have visited this site and came to know about the worst product and complain that each one should send this link to all the relatives and friends and also as far as possible and if possible in the chat main room also so people can come to know about this, more over i suggest that advice this who ever have this mobile and go for it, this may help the rest who will not fall in prey of this kind of cheaters like we have already depending for it now, , bulk emails to everyone who ever we know send a copy to them as far as you all can this may help reduction and others come to know about this fake company, and the most effective will be if this site could be published in a leading magazine and news papers too
really i am agree with all of the above complaints, Sony ericsson charges u a lot, Once i chose sony ericsson w200i, and that was wrost moment of my life...service centre charges me lot after warranty, 450rs for joystick... and in warranty they take around 15 days to 30 days to repair my handset.many times my handset was out of order and every time i paid a lot, and finally once a time they charged me 1300 rs so, i left my cell in service centre (Guru nanak communication, in shakarpur, delhi) and did'nt go there to take my handset back. and purchased Nokia 2700c, from that time my handset is working superb, once it also got service, they charge me 650 rs but Nokia service center returned my handset just after 3 hour and from that day, my mobile is working fine, Its around 2 years and i am happy with my Nokia 2700c, , , , So my friend choose Nokia, or samsung... both are good but leave SE...

Sony Ericsson — DELAY IN REPAIR OF NEW SET

I had given my vivaz pro at mobile care ,gandhi nagar JAMMU for repair as the phone was not getting the charge,Its being more two months since the service center people are giving lame excuses.I am an army officer and can not spare so much time for waiting so long.I fail to understand that a company like sony with good reputation is causing a problem like this.waiting to get a positive response from your side.My work order number is SE[protected].

Sony Ericsson — mobile purchasing

Before a week i went to buy a mobile phone the seller showed me sony ericsson W150i and told me about the features of the handset and after purchasing when i used it none of the features that the seller told me about the phone i have got when i again went to shop and told this he said i don't know i said that you told me that these features are available but none of them are available on this phone he said that i don't know .
i also asked that please exchange this and take the money whatever you want but he did't listen any of my .

Sony Ericsson — Softwares Issues with the phone since purchased

I purchased a Sony Ericsson mobile phone on 1st October 2010, model - Spiro W100i.
Calls drop off in between and messages go blank when received. The mobile gives an "Out of Memory" error though there is about 1.5GB of free space maintained at all times.
I approached the Sony Ericsson service center in Jayanagar , Bangalore and they said the mother board has an issue. The phone worked fine the first day and gives the same error each time. I have to keep restarting the phone to continue messaging/texting.
The first time I gave the phone for a service was on 18th December 2010 which is just about 1 and a half month since I got the phone. and it has been serviced for about 5 times since then but the problem still remains the same. I asked if I could get a replacement for the phone but did not get a positive response from the Service Center.
The phone's software is very slow and it hangs too many times and at times the voice is also not clear from the other end. While if I switch back my sim to another phones and stand at the same place and talk, it works fine so there is no problem with the network provider (Vodafone is what I use).
Please help me get me a replacement for this phone or I am ready to buy a new phone by putting in some more money and discount the full amount of rupees 4800 that I have paid for this phone.

I was have sony ericsson satio and happend problem in touch screen, vivaz and happend problem in touch scree, finally aino and happend like first problem. my name is nazia, i bought a battery from sony erickson authorised service centre, shah market agra. amount 700rs./but they gave me highly defective piece, first i changed it then buy other, but another had the same problem as only 30 mins battery backup after full charged, within in 3 months battery became swelled,
i was doubt that he gave me duplicate battery on the name of company.when i went to shop and complaint he refused to take it back.
i want my money back.

I have R306 model of sonyerricsson. The hand set for radio(AM/FM) is not available in Mumbai. Pl advice where from I can purchase. The piece is working excellent. I suggest to have a mobile with AM/FM invariably. The utility of such a combination is mostly required because of commercial advts. on radio.

Sony Ericsson (Zylo) — Poor Product and Services

I purchased a brand new Sony Ericsson handset (Zylo) on Sep 19, 2010. Within one month, it started troubling me with its sliding function. I got it repaired from Sony Ericsson's authorized service centre after hell lot of follow ups and much inconvenience. The service centre (Harsh Communications, Ludhiana) dealt with my problem as if they were doing some kind of favor by resolving the problem. It took them 10 days to repair my handset and the repair quality was disgusting / ridiculous to say the least. There were a lot of scratches and visible defects on my handset when I received it back. I asked them the reasons behind this mishandling but they very coolly said that it happens while repair.

I even wrote to Sony Ericsson mentioning the Work Order number but received standard answers from them like "they are sorry for the inconvenience caused, etc etc etc" which did not help at all.

To my utter surprise, after six months, the same problem (slider detection / display flickers) again cropped up. I again wrote to Sony Ericsson but they seemed least bothered. As there was no other option, I again handed over my phone to their auth service centre expecting a better service this time. I was wrong once again as this time, I again received it back after 10 days only and the repair quality was worse vis-a-vis the first time...!!!

All my follow ups with Sony Ericsson went in vain. Even, there were times when their customer care representatives used to disconnect the phone while the call was in process.

Although, I have not been able to get justice, I thought that atleast I could generate awareness amongst my fellow Indians so that they can be saved from such a non-professional organization i.e. Sony Ericsson.

i had purchased yendo(w150) from sangeetha mobiles, on 23rd march 2011, the handset has lot of problems,
once we cant hear the voice while on the call, and another time it hangs, and now i cannot download anything from net, if we start down loading it gets switch off automatically.
when i had called to sony erricson customer care on 27th august they registered a complaint and told that they will revert back in 48 hours, but still no one has called back.

i had went to service center for more than 10 times till now, again and again new problems are arising, and i am fed up by this problem.

sony-erricson is really worst company i have ever seen, i trusted the company till now but i have lost my trust by seeing its customer care.

i request the concerned person to take necessary action immediately
