Hi,

I had participated in a contest (Contest : Samsung Galaxy S3 :Pay & get a chance to win) shown in 100bestbuy.com.

I paid INR 599 using my credit card thinking I will have a chance to win Samsung S3 MOBILE.

I received a call from 100 bestbuy.com saying that I am a chosen 12 from 6000 people participated in the contest, In order to further qualify for samsung s3 mobile I have pay another INR 2999.00 otherwise my participation will be cancelled.
I was shocked as this wasn’t explained to me while applying for this offer.

Now when I asked for the money back they said it will be there in your account in terms of points for which you can buy products from the website.
I knew about this condition before entering into this contest, but very soon I realized that they are cheating me by asking me to pay INR 2999.00 more.

And now when I am looking to buy something from their website of INR 599(which i paid earlier) I am surprised that the products value is way costlier than MRP in the market, this clearly gives me sense that this company is a cheat and committing fraud.

Guys if anybody is lured by their offer pls read this post and spread the message.
AND DONT GET INTO THEIR TRAP...AND ALSO DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEIR WEBSITE.

100BESTBUY.COM is cheating their people by asking them to pay some money to participate in a lucrative offer, once this small amount is paid, they will ask you to pay more and this will go on...
This is hos you will get into a big trap..

I even wrote them email twice on 16 march 2013, They have not even bothered to revert to my mail.

I am planning to take legal action against them, Let me know if anyone like me also planning for the same.

100BESTBUY.COM — Product not received---Fraud company

hello,

I bought a Dhan Lakshmi yantra from them on 11th November. And till now they haven't shipped the item yet. A fake bluedart number ([protected]) is provided to me. Product costs Rs 599 . I have called ,emailed and messaged them many a times but no response.
Order number : 1387297 has been paid online. In asking these either u send my product ASAP or give me the refund.
Its a fake company on the net and please be beware of them.

    I got a call from 100bestbuy and was told I am among 1st 12 winners and so am getting zync tablet. Next they asked me to deposit Rs 4500, they said it will be credited in my account and I can use it to buy anything from 100bestbuy. I am regretting, how could I believe them and deposit money. Concerned person Mr Suraj said within 1hr I will get the mailing details of my tablet on my mail. 6 hrs have passed and no response. Thay are cutting my calls. I want them to refund my money. I don't want anything.

      I entered into a contest on bestbuy100.com, where they had said that by paying 899 rs. we will be eligible to a lucky draw contest to win an iPad 5. Further they had said that if our name doesnt come in the lucky draw, then the money would be returened as "credit points" which can be used to both BUY things AND ENTER INTO OTHER CONTEST ON THE SITE> Today I receieved a call from thier website, saying that I have been shortlisted as top 12 eligible people for the contest. BUT to enter it I would have to pay 5000 rs more to ENTER THE CONTEST !!! Further when I told them that I dnt want to enter the contest on these terms as they were not mentioned earlier, and that My points should be credited back, they said that those points can now be used ONLY TO BUY things on the website, and NOT entering other contests. So they are breaching on 2 of the claims or promises they made to lure customers into these contests. Firstly, they DID NOT mention anything about having to pay another 5000 rs for entering the contest. Secondly, thier website CLEARLY SAYS that any redeemed points in case of non winnin of contest would be usable BOTH for BUYING AND PLAYING OTHER CONTESTS !!!! This is the most blatant breach of word I have EVER seen in online shopping. This website should be investigated and shut down as this is nothing but one big con job !!!

        100bestbuy.com cheat with the costumers. i got a email from 100bestbuy.com that pay 999/- in this amount we gave you a tshirt and contest to win apple i phone 5 so i pay this amount. after some days there costumer service call me and say that i am salected in top 12 lucky winners there 10 can win i phone n these 12 lucky winners found spacel prize from us that a table and a wrist watch. for playing this contest and for ftake this free gift i have to pay rs 4999/- this is refundabel if i have not win the i phone and by credit points i have purchase anything of tottel rs 5998/-
        after many days i m waiting for my free gifts they have not sent me that tablet and reebok wrist watch and never attend my call n never respond of my e-mails. i have 5998 credit points in my 100bestbuy.com id i want to my money back and also want to know that what i have to do now?

          Name of the company: 100 Best Buy (online shopping)

          This company also pushes other products by enticing gullible customer by offering them cheap products free and overcharging the handling and courier charges ( where a high price of the cheap products are recovered ) . Nobody replies to telephone calls or mails. They promise that they will refund the money but once you pay them it is converted into credit points and thereby you are forced to buy their products, whereas in the mailers and advts they write that the full amount will be refunded in case you don't win
          Please see to it that strict action is taken so that in future the don't take the general public for a ride by making tall claims, For your reference I'm forwarding you the mail which I had sent them and till the time I'm making a complain I have not received any kind of reply or communication in this regard.

          I had taken part in the contest for Samsung Galaxy Grand and paid the required amount through credit card and the transaction had been successful. (confirmation mail mentioned below)

          Yesterday I received a call from one of your dept. and somebody called Swati spoke to me on my mobile. She told me that I was selected for a lucky draw, as one of the participant out of ten selected and after the draw 8 would be the lucky winners of Samsung Galaxy Grand. She also said that the company was offering me a MP3 player and a pen drive at free of cost along with a coupon for the lucky draw but I'll have to pay the courier Rs. 1035/- for handling and other charges. She verified my address and told me that we'd be sending it through BlueDart couriers and I'll receive a call shortly from the courier company. I received a call shortly to verify and confirm my address but it was not from Bluedart Couriers but from your company itself. I told the person to put me back to the person who spoke to me and was duly put through. Again Swati came on the phone line and told me that as she had already explained the call was to confirm my address.

          While speaking to Swati I inquired as when the draw to give out the Samsung Galaxy Phones to the lucky 8 winners will be held and I would like to be present as I'm one of the participant selected. She started giving me unconvincing and evasive replies about the draw and and when I tried to ask further she immediately disconnected the phone. I tried calling her back on the number but to no avail. In fact the number to which I tried calling back said that it is not in use.

          Now as mentioned earlier as I'm one of the ten selected participants for the lucky draw where 8 participants will be awarded the Samsung phone, I wish to be present for the draw, so request you to give me the draw details.

          Also with regards to the draw I was not at all notified as regards to my status. Request you to do the needful and anticipate a prompt reply in this regard.

          Most of the telephone numbers mentioned in your site are not answered to.

          As I don't stand totally convinced of your contest after the way Swati disconnected the phone, I want to make the above request of being present in the draw. I look forward to hear from you in this regard at the earliest failing which I'll be forced to initiate appropriate action.

          Samsung — not received any reply about the draw

          sir,

          on 31st march, 2009, i received a message saying that " CONGRAT!!! YOUR MOBILE NO HAS WON 250, 000 GBP IN THE 2009 (SHELL) INTL MOBILE DRAW. TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE CONTACT DR.CHIRAC VIA E-MAIL:[protected]@live.com.
          i e-mailed but by now have received no response...
          so what next? what am i supposed to do??

                I have order one shoe on 15th march but they send me wrong order and this is not the first time ,they always send wrong order so that customer never gets their order on time what they have order for and will be connected every time to 100bestbuy shop then when i asked to return my money then they told we will not return money we will replace this then they told please send us the product we will replace the product,then i have send by courier with my expense.

                And till then no call from them is coming regarding my order & when i am calling them it's always comes busy,never connect them for my query and when i am sending mail then also no reply is coming back since last 2 months i am sending every day mail but no reply/no call is coming back.

                Then i inquired about the company from some of my friends then they told it a fake company ,they never send what you order your products,it's a wastage of customer's money because they are taking cash before delivery of products and they never fulfill their requirements.
                Their are several persons who are facing the same related problem when i gone through online check.

                Please inquired about the issue and resolve my problem ASAP.

                    I had an order with 100bestbuy.com on 25.11.2012. Money was already paid which was for a lucky draw contest (status of which is never known) which promised that the money can be used for buying other things. After placement of order I got the Ref.No. as 12704211.
                    For a book shipping price was charged as Rs. 120. (If we buy in flipcart we may get free of charge)
                    Till now two reminders also sent and tried talking to the phone number in the web site which never connected to any person.
                    The promised Rs.50/- worth TalkTime Free also is not charged to my mobile number.

                    Hope atleast now they respond and do something now.

                      A few weeks ago, busy with life as usual, i was surprised when an unexpected barrage of calls from a telemarketing agency calling on behalf of a B2C eCommerce portal, kept pushing for me to patronize one of their offers which i was even chided into believing to be a blink and miss offer. The telemarketeers, calling from nos which i now have gathered is a call centre based in Gurgaon, explained of a deal wherein a state of the art new mp3 player device made by a US company (yet to be launched in India) with a price of INR 9000 + in the market (All these were the actual words used by the person calling..) would be offered to me from 100BESTBUY.com along with a 2GB memory stick, a gift coupon and a 50% cash back voucher for only INR 1035/-. All i needed to do was accept the offer verbally and then they would deliver to my doorstep and accept payment COD (Cash on delivery)

                      All went fine, i accepted the offer and went about my routines... Exactly 2 days later, a well packed box arrives at my doorstep by BLUE DART. Since i wasnt at home, my mother who accepted the parcel called me to enquire whether i'd placed any order online.. I confirmed i had accepted a deal made to me by 100BESTBUY.com (A representative of the company made the deal) and asked her to inspect the package and verify the contents. However she was disallowed to open it without making the payment and was even told that if she did open the package, it could not be sent back (Strange logic!).. So she paid the amount and took the delivery and the package sat there till i got back the next morning and opened it to discover to my astonishment.. A big 12x12x12cm carton ( Why i mention this is cos its uncanny for such a big carton to be used to pack a product that would fit in a space 10 times lesser... Maybe the size of the carton is a part of the scam to lead you into believing that u have actually got your promised product!) containing only a piddly cheap chinese made mp3 player ( I verified online that this particular product wasnt even worth INR 150) and a 2GB memory card. There werent any gift coupons nor any 50% Cash back vouchers in the box.. The entire package was not even worth INR 300!!! I was terribly ashast and angered on being cheated, that too in these modern times, by well establised companies that are resorting to such corny tactics. It seemed a well planned operation by the company and its representatives to con unsuspecting people like me who use the internet daily for commerce and sadly said has put me off trading on the internet having left in me a very bad taste...

                      Since then i have written to the customer care of the said company and even marked a mail to its CEO! but, Silence is golden and not receiving a reply from them only confirms their role in this scam and also their care a damn about customers attitude.

                      Having put up this true review in a customers forum, i received a response from them only in the form of some kind of automated reply which i understand is a generic reply they send to all their hate mail which im sure of would be plenty. They blankly told me to courier the product back and that they would give me 100BestBuy points in return to do more shopping on their site! Gosh!!!! The sheer nerve they have to make such propositions... Why would i want to ever shop with them after this?? I then read up several reviews where customers have returned products to them and then havent heard from them at all.. and not 1 or 2 but several.. Now im not even sure if its a good idea to send the product back cos then my losses wouls also add up the courier charge to mail the cheap stuff all the way to bangalore.. the joke would be on me cos their product itself doesnt cost half as much as what the courier charge would be! Im sure there is a racket there too...

                      I am a well educated urban individual, street smart and not the type to succumb to the scores of scamsters who try to make a meal o[censored]nsuspecting people.. Yet, i fell prey to this highway robbery and while its not the loss of a certain amount of money that frustrates me, its the fact that such modern day thieves are openly going about their business as usual conning people and destroying an upcoming e-commerce industry by killing peoples faith in it. Its taken me a lot of time and effort to put this grievience down but it would be worth it if it warns others of such miserable businesses.

                      I advise all those reading this post to be vary of such fraud agencies and companies... Pls safeguard yourselves from such heists! P.S. I am yet to hear from the company and its representatives... No clarification received till date!

                        3-4 days ago there executive called me for that u win a contest will get a branded phone of Rs.[protected]. You will have to pay only shipping and its service tax. Tomarrow got the product but the product is not as it was said to me its MRP writtin on the product is only Rs. 1300/- and they have taken Rs. 1900/- from my Wife by Blue Dart courier Service ( Delivery man has rudly forced my wife for purchasing that). Also there is no any Invoice/Bill, No any product warrantee card. no any custmer helping points From tomarrow I am calling company's phone no. for my product but nobody is picking that no.[protected]. I did not find any clue for correction in my product Sir, if you are able to solve my problem i very thankful for that also say what I do at present

                          This complaint is regarding online shopping website www.100bestbuy.com One day i was just visiting this site suddenly i saw some sort of contest i participated in that contest. After few days back i.e on 5th march 2013 i recieved phone call from 100bestbuy that you have been selected in top 5 from 4000 contestant who participated in apple iphone 5 contest. They also said that you are in top 5 and there is a bumper draw on 20th march 2013 and if you will be selected in top 4 than you will win apple iphone 5. They said that we are sending you free gift worth Rs. 5000 and contest coupon in first flight courier which you will recieve within 7-8 days you will have to pay only service charges and courier charges i.e. Rs.1088 only. The courier will contain 1 zebronics mp3 player and transcend micro sd card, it is worth rs. 5000. On 11th march 2013 i received courier which was containing 1 zebronics nod mp3 player mrp. 399 and 2GB transcend micro sd card mrp. 149, no contest coupon in courier.


                          This is a fraud website which only cheats consumers with bogus contest.

                            I didn't saw such a WORST and FRAUD company in my life. Friends don't believe this company and invest your money.

                            I have seen some comments which is prepared by 100bestbuy company itself.. First they are starting negative points and completing with good one. How all the people give the comment like same. This is also CHEATING.

                            I have ordered a deal on 100 best buy and the order date is Feb 7. They informed that all the participants will receive the winner's list on first week of every month but till now I didn't received any emails from this company.

                            Whenever I open that deal page, the time starts decreasing from 11:59:59. I have watched this on daily basis and raised a concern to 100bestbuy company on March 5th and I received an automation email that "We will get back to you within 2 working days" BUT till now I didn't receive any emails from this company and THEY ARE NOT PICKING THE CALL ALL THE TIMES. IT IS VERY VERY WORST..!

                            I didn't saw such a WORST and FRAUD company in my life. Friends don't believe this company and invest your money.

                            I have yet to receive any response on products by the ref no:17205800 and ref no:17206195. & I have called numerous times. Reviews everywhere tell me that they are cheating a lot of people like us.
                            Moreover, this company will ensure you that you will get the money as credit in your account if you won't won the price, so you can utilize them later on to buy any product from 100bestbuy.com, but you will not get any certain ways to use your credit amount as well.

                            I dont know how but one day a tab opened on my mobile browser that i have been chosen from NCR territory and by simply submitting a form i will win iphone 5 in Rs 699. I filled up the form and paid rupees 699. There was nothing mentioning that it was a contest and that it will be decided in a lottery, which i came to know the next day by their customer service representative caller. I was furious at first but then he said that i had already been selected in the top 15 and out of which 12 people will get iphone 5…But to stay in contest i was asked to buy a mobile worth Rs3999 with 100% cash back..meaning that 3999 will be added to my credit points and then i can order anything worth 3999+699 anytime from there site. As there were 699 points already updated in my account and seeing the probability of coming in 12 out of 15 i lured into that offer. (How stupid of me!!) and bought that Azume mobile. Then 1 week has passed no credit points have been updated. There customer care ppl dont answer my queries. They send automated replies from there contact email addresses. And there is no information regarding the contest itself!! This is total fraud!!! I request people who have been similarly cheated by this fraudulent company to come upfront and file a case and get your money back

                                  I dont understand what is happening in this web site.. They claim if we pay 599 we are eligible to take part in the contest where they gift 10 lucky winners samsung galaxy worth more than 35k . and if we lose in the contest we will get credit points for which we can buy some product worth the amt.
                                  It looks as if they get benefitted by those who lose in the competition bcoz they are forced to buy something from that website.
                                  On doing a calculation I found out the whole competition is a fake. Because

                                  25k = 25000
                                  25k * 10 lucky winners == 2,50,000

                                  Let us say for each 599 rs a person spends on the website. the website gets a profit of 250 Rs. it means 1010 people needs to participate in the competition in which 1000 people are losers.
                                  I dont beleive 1000 people will participate in one competion .Even if so they are organizing 10 -12 competitions in 1 day.. So if the same rule implies for each DAY there should be atleast[protected] participants who are members in best buy. I am sure the whole competition is fake.

                                  Waste of time and money.
                                  In the above comment I am calculating with 25K for better calculation. When I joined in one of their fake competitions I was asked to pay 599 for a android mobile worth 35K. I register and got fooled. Then I realised I did a mistake after doing the above calculation. After 2 days still I did not use the credit points and I got a call from the website saying I need to pay another 1900 for which I will get a pendrive etc etc. which I need to pay for courier guy. Along with the caller told me I will get a coupon as a lucky winner of android phone which I will be receiving shortly. I told the guy before sending a person just mail this to me. The person is saying he cant sent mail and he has rights only to call. I
                                  cant believe my ears, bcoz after all they own a website and their employees are not given access to interned. That evening I checked in this website and saw so many people got these type of calls and got delivered worthless products. So please guys . Dont beleive a word they tell.

                                    I have never seen this type of shopping portal in my life, If they come before me I will really kill them. coming to my problem...

                                    I have participated in a contest of worth Rs.699, where they have specified like they will give Samsung note 2 if am selected or else 100% cash back.

                                    I dont know what they think about 100% cash back, there they have specified like that and after payment I recieved mail stating that 100%cash back will be in the form of credit points. I got frustrated with that - first stage of frustration.

                                    Second - Ok atlast I have decided to buy something using that credit points, the prices are very high when compared to other shopping sites.

                                    Third - I comprised with that also and added something to cart, thats it. In the total credit points I can use only 50% of that.. what is that thing?

                                    Fourth - Shipping charges are too high.. its more than Rs.150 on every product.

                                    Fifth - Called to customer care number from my mobile.. they didnt accept my call and it was saying your call is important to us so please wait.

                                    Sixth - I have sent so many mails.. no reply... one day I got a call from them, I was really happy to hear that .. but they are telling that I was selected for that Samsung NOTE 2 and I have to pay Rs.950 to get that. I jus asked him to stop and asked about how to redeem those points .. for that question he cut the call....


                                    Pleaaaaaaaase .. Its a big request to all of you ..... Dont trust this 100bestbuy.com..... you will definitely feel bad if you buy something...

                                        I had paid 699/- rs. for contest. but after that again I got a call from 100 best buy. they said they need 5000/- but i dint paid that amount. they had rejected my contest. I had ordered watch @rs 464/- but it looks like 50/- rs. watch. Now in my account balance 235/- is there. I need a money back. I don't want to buy any thing.

                                        I tried a lot for customer centre. but all the time it is either not reachable or switch off.

                                        I need my 235/- back.
