titanium credit card — non receipt of bill

we are yet to recive your bill for november
last bill recived is for statment dt 3.1.08 .payment due date 23.10.08

since i have made purchase on 28.10.08, eagerly awaiting bil. to make imeediate payment. not intrested in paying intrest.
since this bill is for big amount, and this bill has not been recived, you shall than claim finance charge etc. not intrested . will pay 100% as done in past.

titanium credit card — DEMAND FOR ANNUAL FEE

I wish to inform U that earlier Titanium card was being used by me and then Iwas given Platinum Emirate card. I am surprised to see taht when this card was withdrawn, from where this Annual fee demand has come. I am senior citizen and all thse unwanted demands are causing stress to me. I also want cacellation of my present Platnium Emirates card as well as I am not keen to have any relationship with this bank. My phone no. is <[protected]>
I'll provide my card no. only when contacted or email message be given to me.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — non receipt of statement

Dear Sir / Madam,

With reference to the above subject, i would like to bring to your notice that i am using abn amro (titanium )credit card for the past few years.
Nature of Complaint : I have not received my bill for the last 6 - 8 months. In spite of my repeated complaints
no actions has been taken and hence I am making my payments on ad-hoc basis.
I am also not able to verify my statement.

Almost a month now and been following up for my meralco bills auto debit enrollment, still no positive response.

wrong written off to CIBIL report

my CIBIL report shows an written off amount from Pheonix Arc which is absolutely wrong. I never had any dues towards my ABN AMRO credit card. Pls provide me number of your concerned department or I am going to sue you soon.

    I am copying the mail I have sent to top authorities of Abn Amro bank. The collection ageny of this bank has been harrasing me for making payments and telling me to beg borrow or steal but make the payment...that too i have never defaulted any payment at all....

    Meera,

    I purposely did not reply this mail to show you what kind of harassment is done by your collection agency which is the main reason of my fury with your bank.

    Few months back my 2 year old son was hospitalized for serious illness and the expense I incurred drenched all my savings and income, hence I could not pay the monthly amt for the card. Inspite of repeated explanations to your collection team and the inhuman treatment given to me I was forced to lodge a complaint with the nearest police station, can forward you the scanned copy of FIR against Chennai call center lodged at Yelahanka Police station, suprisingly i have never received any call from chennai after that incident. In fact the guy who spoke to me thought i was joking and when i handed the phone to the police officer he abused the police office thinking its a joke. I have the call recording on my mobile, worth listening too !

    This time I purposely didn’t make the payment to show you the same treatment. I received a call from your Delhi call center[protected] and spoke to a guy called Ankit Sharma who only believes in getting the amount by hook or crook, he even told me indirectly to beg borrow or steal but make the payment and had absolutely no regards of this mail I had sent to you both recently.

    I would now like to tell you that under no circumstances I will make the payment and if you wish please send a legal notice to me. Also do keep in mind if I get these kind of call again you will compel me to take a serious step which will be blow on the image of your company which is about to make a change over ( RBS ).

    DO TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY.

    ABN AMRO Credit Card — Harassment for payment for charges not incurred by me

    I was holding ABN Amro Bank Credit Card 3-4 yrs back, though I have made all my payments on time they have charged me late payment charges. When I spoke to their customer care they informed that they will reverse the same. They also have charged Annual Fees, when their representative have informed that its a Life Time free card without any charges or Fees while issuing the card. I have returned the card immediatly after they have charged the Annual Fees & informed them to deactivate the card & reverse the fees. But still they are calling to make the payment. I am not in India but they are calling my wife and harrasing her for payment. Please advice.

    ABN AMRO Credit Card — FORCIBLY ASKING FOR PAYMENT AGAINST WRONG DEBIT

    This is with reference to my ABN AMRO Credit card No- [protected], since last four month I have been countinuely getting calls from ABN AMRO Card and everytime someone has been trying to sell me some discount coupons but I always denied. Finally in jan'2009 again I got a call from their side and the executive on the phone told me that if you don't want to buy the coupons, no problem, we will just charge an amount of Rs. 6000/- to your card and will send you only details of our scheme and only when you deposit the payment of your card then only we will send you all those coupons we are offering you and if you do not make the payment of your card as debited by us, we will reverse the debit in the following month and no coupons will be sent to you. On listening all this and to avoid further calls from their side lasting I said OK but I also said that I am not interested to buy any discount coupons nor I will pay for that.

    Now I have got my card's statement for the month of March'2009 I am surprised that neither I got my last months statement nor the charges have been reversed. When I contacted to customer care they say you must have to pay atleast Rs. 4000/- and we will send you the coupons when I said all above the person says there is no option for you you must have to pay and she disconnected the phone.

    I am surprised by her language and by this type of forcible sell by the ABN AMRO Card. I rarely use my card and since getting made the card last year I have hardly used my card 4-6 time only and I have always made my payments for purchases made by me on time. Inspite of all this I am extremely hurt that a bank can do such a business.

    I would like to cancel my above card immediately and would like ABN AMRO officials to reverse the charges debited by them on the ground of false informations and committment with customer.

    ABN AMRO Credit Card — Cheated by Misleading

    My name is Anil, I am using Abn Amro credit card since last one year. And there was no issues with my transation and the payment. Unfortunately last two months back I used to get a call from telecallers for their make my trip offer. But I was not interested and replied the same to them. As the day rolled these calls are froced me to listen to the offer. That is like they are sending me a wocher of make my trip and informed me that I dont have to spend a single rupee on that and whenever I am planning to go for a trip then I have to Inform the bank then they are going to charge me and they will arrange for activating my woucher and then only I have to pay whichever destination I choose accordingly they give me the offer. But I clearly mentioned them for next one year I dont have any plans. As per telecaller I came to know these woucher will not deduct any ammount from my account and got 8 months validity whenever I am interested then only I can strt using this. Then I am forced to agree. after this even I am not recieved any woucher I got e mail alert from ABN AMRO bank by saying rupees 5000 has been deducted for these woucher. And immediatly I called customer care number and even explaining all these thing they never answered my problem, , , , , I am still expecting their reply for the same.

    ABN AMRO — Harresment for payment for no service availed

    This is in connection to the ABN Amro Card: No: [protected]. Card Holder Name: P. Haran Kumar.
    I had availed this card after huge pressure from ABN sales team on 31 Aug 2005. After availing this card I had never activated or used this card fro any purchase as it was my first Credit Card and I had no specific usage for this card.
    Later one of ABN executive had called me over the phone and requested me take a insurance policy attached to this card, after regretting I took the offer and paid 2 months premium of Rs: 250 each, where as after 2 months I had not received the insurance policy and when asked for the same their representative said that they had couriered the same to me, where as I had not received the same till 2006 October, I stopped paying the premium of Rs: 250/-. (Why should I pay premium for the policy which I had not received).
    After further enquiries I said I am going to cancel the card and had written a letter to your concern and broken the card and dropped it in ur bank at pune.

    It had been 3 years now and after 3 years ABN executive had called me and asked for the payment stating that I have 8000 odd balance to be paid.

    Further to add flavor, ABN had marked me as a defaulter in my CIBIL Report.


    The Only Credibility Problem I had faced with ABN AMRO, Pls check my track record and Credit record with CIBIL. I am good paymaster apart from your card – where the problem is at the service of your esteemed organization.

    Plesae note that it has been agreed by you that nothing will be charged on account of membership fee which you can verify from your past records.



    Please also note that late payment has been levied by you for 1 or 2days delay in making payment which happened due to return of cheque. You can verify from your records that earlier cheque has never been reversed except this case. It has also been agreed by you at the time of informing me towards return of cheque that if I deposit cash immediately then nothing will be charged on account of late fee. Inspite of making cash payment on the same day as you have advised, you have charged late payment which is quite ridiculous.



    It is quite clear that you are not fulfilling your comittment which will spoil our relationship .



    You are also giving unncessary excuse that you are not able to contact me at the number registered with you. My contact number is same i.e. [protected] on which you may contact me between 11 A.M. to 6.30 P.M.



    Please resolve this matter at the earliest and arrange to reverse all unjustified charges as mentioned in my earlier e-mail to ensure our better relationship .

But I am shocked that despite your assurance, you have cgarged late fee.

    As regards charges of Rs. 500/- towards return of cheque, please note you have charged in an unjustified manner wheras all other Banks charge Rs. 100/- only on this account.

    Despite my several e-mails you have not yet arranged to reverse the charges as mentioned above and it will spoil our relationship and compel me to bocome defaulter as because I am not in a position to bear your unjustifieed charges.

    Please be advised that the total outstanding as per the statement date June 20, 2009 was Rs. 2, 834.37 and the due date was July 10, 2009. However we have received payment for the amount of Rs. 2, 700.00 on July 13, 2009. Hence late fees and finance charges have been levied on the same.

    Therefore we express our inability to reverse late fees and finance charges debited on your card account.

    Re: Credit Card No. [protected]

    Further to my letter dated 7th July, 2009 you have not yet reversed membership fee Rs.595/- charged on 20th June, 2009. It has been agreed by you earlier that nothing will be charged on account of membership fee and you can verify from your records that it has never been charged in the past.

    Please also note that in your statement dated 20th July, 2009 you have charged late fee Rs. 650/- and cheque returned fee rs. 500/-. In this connection, please note that my cheque has never been returned in the past which you can verify from your records. But unfortunately this time my cheque has been returned and I failed to understand the reason thereof. However, as soon as I have been informed by you regarding return of cheque, I have made payment in cash on 13th July, 2009 as advised by you.. In spite of assurance from you that nothing will be charged towards return of cheque if I make payment in cash immediately, I was shocked to see that you have charged late fee and cheque returned fee. Please note that my Bank (Central Bank) has already charged cheque returned fee Rs. 100/-. But you have charged Rs. 500/- towards cheque returned fee in an unjustified manner. At the most you can charge Rs. 100/- on this account as other Banks charge.

    ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Credit Card Bill

    I have not received any statements both hardcopy in my home address or on the e-mail since few months and now my card has been blocked by the bank. On calling up the centre first their systems are always down and then after calling repeatedly they say that it is not their mistake that I have not received the bill. They claim that if I dont get the bill on time I should follow up with them for the same. I would like to know of any possible action against this kind of service levels and also harassment. Their is not even a mail sent to let me know that the dues are not paid or the bill has been sent or that the card is being blocked and this is after being a customer for many years without any defaults.

    This is to inform you on 3rd nov 2009 i have received a mail from ABN ABN AMRO bank. Where they have attached a credit card bill. Even I can not see the bill amount because I was not having credit card. Last 2 year back i have surrender the credit card and i did all the due payments .immediately with discuss in there call center i have cut the card and putted in the bank.
    Now i am not able to understand how this bill can generate.
    On 10th November i did the communication with bank. Till date they are bothered to reply, because this is there habit, from this way they earn the money from the peoples.

    I am a credit card holder of ABN AMRO bank from past more than 2 years. But last sept'09 the ordeal started. The thing is I am having to pay an emi of Rs 1847.00. per month to abn amro bank against the draft loan i took from them a year ago. Now its due date comes out to 22nd of every month. In sept'09 i made the payment by cheque of Rs 1900.00 by 20th of that month. Now what do i see that their collection team ,which is situated at delhi and run by an outside agency, stared calling me from the next date of the due date asking me to make the payment in cash since the cheque has got bounced. But i disagreed to pay them saying that without getting any information from my bank i cannot make the payment in cash. The collection agency people were so clever that they took the payment of Rs 1850.00 from my father in cash in my absence as i was out of station.
    In the meanwhile i made the transaction of Rs 52000.00 approx. knowing i have made the full payment and i wont charged any interest since my all dues for last month were cleared. Now what could i see in my next statement is there was an interest charges of Rs 1700.00 approx and also a late payment charges of Rs 650.00. The same day i called them about the same thing at their customer care no. 44341111. they said me that they cannot help me in this ,so asked me mail at [protected]@in.abnamro.com to get the retrivel of those charges,since in my opinion these charges were forcibly applied to me. I email them at the given address about the problem and also stating that i will hold the payment untill i dont get any resolve mail from them. I got the reply from them approx 15 days later,exactly on the due date i was having,saying its being my fault they cannot do anything. Now knowing its been totally injustice to me and totally wrong way to earn money out of foul way from the customers.I emailed them again to investigate on it again as there was no fault of mine.
    Now from 23rd october ,since the payment was on hold, the outside collection agency started calling me.I made them aware of the issue going through and to please bear with me for the while. But every hour and every next day different person would call me and ask me the same thing.they went to extent to abuse me, not believeing my words,treating me defaulter and many more things.This thing went on for a month, and i cannot explain in words of how much pain i was in during the period,upto such extent extent that i cannot control my tears too.
    Now before my 22 november 2009 due date, entered Mr dipankar ghosh ,having its office at trinity tower near topsia,an ABN AMRO bank retail asset division office,in the controversy.He is the collection head of eastern region as said to me by him. After knowing the whole scenario,he assured me to waive off all the charges and asked me to make the payment of Rs 55200.00 in order to close all dues as on 22nd november 2009.Now what i look at december statement ,all the interest charges are still there and upon it more of interest charges have been levied to me.The only thing was waived off was late payment charges.They said me after all the investigation they found that the late payment charges applied to me were found unwanted and hence were waived off.Now explaing them about late payment being credited to my card were totally injustice then how can they charge any interest then. I called up Mr dipankar ghosh again and said of these things.He assured me that these charges wont be there,and asked for little time.
    Now with december due date fast approaching i contacted Mr dipankar ghosh again,he said me to make the emi payment of amount Rs 1847.00 which is due every month and assured again of all charges being waived off.This thing continued and continued,the person has same reply again and again.Atlast on jan'2010 due date he denied me of any charges been reversed and asked me to pay every charges and disconnected the line without listening to my words. On the response ,i got infuriated this time and at that moment i was left stranded and felt to be cheated and robbed of money.i was feeling humiliated of why i used the abn amro bank card. So i called him again to know whats the reason he didnt picked the call.I made 40 to 50 calls to him that time,but he didnt replied to me untill the last call. in which we had heated verbal with each other and conclusion being ,that he threatened to me of making me a big defaulter.
    Now with all these happening to me, i have started realising that i am on verge of being defaulter,but its not my opnion. I m with no choice to except to go with abn amro banks words pay all the charges which are totally useless and unjustified or to become a defaulter.
    But my minds says in order to live life in the name of Rajiv Bajaj and have a good relations with the banks,i have no choice to make the payments. But i have mailed you to make you aware of how banks are making money out of foul way. and its customers who are getting beating at the end.Plz help me in the same since this may happen again to other person.

    Hi, I am from Chennai and I was using ABN AMRO during 2005 and I paid all balance payments whatever due, but the next bill they charged me the next year Annal fee for Rs.850, but I told them I am going to cancel my credit card and also I was not used that card after that and broken the card and sent back to the bank, after sometime they were keep on sending the statement with interest, late fee charges, sometime back they called me from Pune call center and threading me that your name will be list under CIBIL under defaulter list.

But to my surprise I have received a ststement that I have to pay Rs.121.40psand is accumaliting it by levying late payment charges like any thing.     The caller who has got in touch with my family member to gather the detail has clled up on residence land line number which is the same from since last 12 years...no call from 2007 and in 2010 called are coming for payment... and the caller shailendra is to be very well taught the etic to speak to ladies at residence, he has used bad words and abused with females at my residence, after getting in touch with me on call for the payment and assuring him for the payment, since i was travelling & not receiving call's, again the guy has called and treated bad with my family members, in the conversaton with me and my family he has repeatedly used the word defaulter for me amd my family ... which is a offence that is what i beleive ... apart fron this all



    i am find for the letter and the payment made against settle ment of card earlier, if the said card was settled earlier and this is again the new payment charged... i am going to prosecute it through my lawyer.



    Attahed is the payment made through salary account of SBI.

    The payment if any was due from my end, i am equally resposible for making the same, but the harresment doe by the caller was to extreme, daily calling up for 10-15 times, it just annoying and disturbing.



    Also the authentication of letter was not establised the mail has come from some personal id, nor doe it carry an rbs id or rbs employee code, also state in letter the letter will hold true for 7 days from the isue date, on demanding fresh letter, it was communicated first make payment we will issue fresh letter later...how authentic it is..i don't know.



    Also the outstanding on the card when asked for statement, they failed to provide me the statement, also the 7000/- amount is settled on an amount of 3200/- with out my information...whow do i trust that the outstading is 7 thousand and on what ground is the card settled on 3216/- no proof's available...



    i don't know ho are you going to take this forward nor am a expecting any thing more than a "zero" statement and a valid letter & noc..



    till the time i am not going to get this...the mail will be followed up

    Hi,

    To whom so it is concerned, I would like to draw your kind attention why i did not make the payment for the credit card.Reason are given below:
    I never receive paper bills of my credit card, not even email statement --> Even after contacting to the customer care, i never got any proper response due to which you keep on added the late payment fees and i never have a idea about my bill
    My initial credit limit on my card was around Rs 30, 000 but it was reduced to Rs 1500 with out any prior notice to me. Due to which i suffered a lot.
    Steps taken:
    I called up services desk and ask them that i never got the bills (email and hard copy). The executive on phone told me that you pay the amount which you have spent, rest amount will be waived off. However this never happen. You keep on adding the late payment fees.
    As per the discussion with the executive, i paid the amount which i had spent and that was Rs1500. I had clearly told that executive that time on phone and even executive told me the same thing that what ever the late payment will be that will be waived off. Till this date this never happen and still the bill keeps on increasing which i never never pay.
    I asked the executive to stop the card but he refused which again worked against me.
    Conclusion : I am not going to pay any amount further. I paid the amount which i have spent what ever the charges are now (Rs 4500) those are only late payment fees which i will not pay as it was your mistake not to provide the bill details. So please can some one waive off the amount which is pending and close this credit card.

    Royal Bank of Scotland NV has cheated me. I had a high outstanding in the year 2008 which I was paying gradually. One fine day somebody named Shashi (Cell # [protected]) called me up and told me that my outstanding can be paid in easy instalments of Rs 3846.00. He took post dated cheques from me in the month of August'2009. He produced them in the bank and deducted money from my account in equal instalments. But when the completion time came, I still received a statement from the bank showing a high outstanding. That is when I got to know that though all the payments were made the bank levied late charges and I was again in huge debt. I immediately called up the customer care and I got to know that the bank had levied late payment charges on me. I did not want to pay the same because I did not use the money and and so kept calling the customer care but in vain. Nobody was in a position to help me. There was no better solution apart from paying the money. The people who took my calls did not know what needed to be done. Most of the times they used to promise me that they would call me back but days went and I kept on waiting for the calls. When I got in touch with Shashi he said "I will not be able to help you on this. You do whatever you want to do". When I got hyper and told him he had cheated me, he said "You try and prove that I have done this, nobody will pay a heed or believe in you". Is this the kind of treatment a customer is supposed to get? I also called up for help to the customer service and also requested them to lodge a complaint against Shashi who had frauded me but in vain. Everytime I was assured that I will be called by somebody from the bank but most of the times it was a call for 'please pay up the amount' or there was no call at all. After many months I got a letter from an advocate which showed that I will have to pay a higher interest for the outansding (actually the money I hadnt used). So, I thought of paying up the amount before it becomes too high. When I called up customer service they told me to pay to RBS credit card number. I have done the same and even then the collection department keeps calling me and saying that they have not received my payment. They want me to pay the amount again inspite of the amount being cleared from the bank. Please help to me to come out of RBS clutches before I lose everything.
    RBS credit cards are big time cheaters.Their customer service is a big zero, they happily violate the RTI, by adding charges without any intimation to the customer.

    I was carrying a credit card - [protected] of ABN Amro Bank till 2003. There was certain outstanding which bank had shown but it was not correct. Hence i had stopped using that card. After discussion it was agreed that payment of Rs 2000 is required to be made.Hi-Tek Syndicate which is authorised by ABN AMRO Bank, came and collected said amount Rs 500 cash vide receipt number 4994 and Rs 1500 cheque - 678634 receipt number 4995.

    But now after almost 8 years I came to know that this account has not been setteled and Bank is showing outstanding of Rs 8519 against my credit card.

      You should take the step and make an announcement about disowning your daughter as if she is your daughter then the bank would call you and ask for payment.if your daughter has ran away from home you should disown her otherwise you would have to bear all her expenses.

        I have a complaint pending with the Reference # C[protected].

        (It was in reference to the transaction from my RBS savings account# 1471371 on 22nd March 2010. I had made payment for my ABN AMRO Credit card. However, the statement shows a 17 digit Credit card number).



        I wish to state that I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this request/complaint has been dealt with.



        1) The response that I have received is that ‘you yourself had entered 17 digit card number’.



        In great humility, I wish to contest that. But then, even if I had entered a mistaken 17 digit card number, my argument while registering the complaint was than in such a case, the cheque should have been cancelled. Or how do you justify the payment being credited to a non-existent Card number. (Why have you deducted money from my account and have not submitted it anywhere for so many days).





        2) Although, I should have been contacted within 3 working-days, I did not receive any communication for 5-6 days.



        I kept calling for 2-3 days and I was told that I would be contacted. And then, when I finally called up on 30th Marchm 2010 at around 7’0’ clock in the evening and talked to Sandeep, he gave me the response mentioned in point 1. and then when I asked, why I was not contacted, they said my number was not available at 1406 hrs on 30th March..

        Sir/Madam, I wish to inform that I have enrolled with Missed Call alert Service with airtel (my number is [protected]), and I did not receive any alert for a missed call.



        3) Further, I feel like all that I have received from Customer care, in the name of resolution is, that you yourself have entered 17-digit number and that the bank cannot do anything about it.

        I am disappointed with the kind of customer support ABN AMRO (RBS) offers. Whereas, I was expecting some next step of actions for me or for the bank to resolve this case.



        4) While registering the request on 25th March, I had stated that the last date for the payment of my Credit Card is 28th March 2010, and I do not want any late fee charges imposed on my Credit card statement (when I the charges were deducted from my account on 22nd March itself).

        Had the bank cancelled, the inappropriately named cheque (as the bank calls it), I would have made payment by some other medium for my Credit card and would have avoided non-payment charges.

        Please look into this that no unjustified charges are levied onto me.



        I sincerely look forward to the co-operation from bank-authorities.

          I was holding an ABN AMRO credit card ([protected]) for the period 2002 to 2005. In Sept'05 I stopped using above credit card & destroyed the same. The last statement generated on 7th Oct'05 shows credit balance of 76 Paise.

          One fine day I came to know that ABN AMRO have put my name in defaulter's list for want of Rs. 5589/-. When I checked up with their call center, I was informed that an Insurance Policy was purchased on my name in 2005 which has remained unpaid & hence this outstanding with killing interest rate built up over the years.

          After talking tough to ABN AMRO, I was informed that the amount has been reversed & no dues certificate would be sent to my home shortly. Since I had to process my home loan application with SBI, Baroda, I did not wait for ABN AMRO to clear the outstanding by following their internal process & cleared the outstanding vide ICICI bank cheque no. 936713 dated 23rd Mar'10. I was also informed that it will be processed with in 4 days & I will receive the no dues certificate in approx. 4 days.

          When I contacted ABN AMRO on 29th Mar'10 at 7:30 PM through mail to inform them to send the scanned copy of no dues certificate to me by mail, I have been informed once again that it will take another 7 - 10 days by Mr. Manoj of ABN AMRO bank call center. When I requested him to send me to confirm over e-mail that no dues certificate is under processing & it will be sent to me shortly, he assured me to send the mail with in 5-10 minutes, which I am still to get even after waiting for 6 hours.

          It seems that no body is bothered about customers at ABN AMRO bank & recently they have changed their name from ABN AMRO bank to Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to confuse the customers. Also the e-mails of officer handling customer grievance cell have been removed from their website so that the customers should not contact them. No phone no. or mobile no. has been mentioned in the site to contact above officers deliberately so that they are not contacted by harassed customers.

          I also came to know about so many complaints about ABN AMRO bank credit cards on this site that it seems that ABN AMRO are the Masters of Forgery in banking.

          If they don't respond by tomorrow i.e. by 30th Mar'10, than I will have no option but to file a complaint against them & drag them to Court/Consumer Forum.

          I was holding a ABN AMRO credit card no 5239 XXXX XXXX 0783 which i had utilsed for using lounge facility at the airport which was complimentary charges as per the card benefits.But to my surprise i wal billed for Rs 931.00 and to add to this i never received a bill or sms for my outstanding amount for 1 year.After 1.5 yrs this was sent to CIBIL without my knowledge .Though i am also holding another card of ABN AMRO the irresponsible and inept behaviour of the bank has forced me to surrender my existing card and also forced me to think the ways in which CIBIL is being misutilised .I would request somebody to look into the same

            I have applied to close my CC A/c. no. and applied for No Due Certificate but till date we have not received the certificate.

            Every time, they are replying that we have sent on my address and will receive shrtly but they are not clarifying the date on which they have sent the same.
            Ask them to send a copy on your mail or send a letter on your mail which states no dues...



            you can use that as evidence and dont have to worry in gettin a physical copy

                  Please please note that though I have a zero balance salary account with your bank since September 2009 still Rs 441/-- has been deducted from my account totally unauthorisedly and without any logic by dishonouring ecs facility today 8th march 2010..when your bank by phone exe first informed your system remains down and from the second time onwords no responses are there. This is the high degree of callousness and nonethical practise i have ever seen in my life.I want my money back ASAP..

                  Please note that at the time of transction the balance was Rs1097/ which was more than sufficient two honour two ecs total Rs 1000..This is rediculous and required immediate action..

                      Fraudulent intentions of ABN Amro Bank

                      I wish to state following:
                      1. I am holding ABN AMRO MakeMy Trip GO Credit Card No: [protected].
                      2. A fraudulent amount of Rs: 5,513.88 was charged in my credit card statement dated 14/01/2010 showing description “MMT HAPPY HOLIDAYS FEE DEBIT”.
                      3. I deny using my said card for amount and details mentioned in point number two. Regarding this issue a complaint was lodged with ABN AMRO bank through phone number[protected] and I was given complaint No: [protected]. I was promised that the issue will be resolved in 7 to 10 days time.
                      4. Yesterday (on 17th, Feb, 2010) I received my credit card statement dated 14/02/2010. I was deeply shocked to see that said issue was not resolved and more over a late fee of Rs: 650.00, Service charge of Rs: 177.58 along with education cess of Rs: 85.24 was also charged in my statement. Know the total fraudulent amount charge by bank in my credit card statement is Rs: 6426.70.
                      5. I have again lodges the complaint with bank on 17th, Feb, 2010 at phone number:[protected]. I have talked to Mr. Sameer on said phone number and requested him to resolve the said matter. The same complaint has been updated but not resolved under complaint number: [protected]
                      6. I am depressed and de motivated with this fraudulent attitude of bank.
                      7. It seems that this is planned strategy by bank to harass me and degrade my credit rating.
                      LOOKING IN TO ABOVE MENTIONED SIX POINTS I REQUEST ABN AMRO BANK TO DO FOLLOWING:-
                      1. Immediately revert the fraudulent amount of Rs: 6426.70 charged in my said credit card statement.
                      2. Issue to a written apology to me.
                      3. Immediately cancel my credit card( No: [protected])

                        In February 2009 I have received a telephone call from ABN Amro Bank's tele promotional person, who first introduced me a new credit card with some unique features. Since I was facing some financial difficulties at that time I have agreed for the same. But the person who contacted me from the said bank told me that you should also join with package to get the said credit card. The package offers local/international tours worth around Rs. 70,000/- and the only fees to be paid is just Rs. 5,000/-. Though I was not interested in the said package, I have agreed for the same to get the credit card. Subsequently, the bank has charged me Rs. 5,000/- to a different credit card, which I have from the same bank.

                        Thereafter, I did not hear anything from the bank. As for the new credit card, I have called a few times to the bank's customer care department and received different answers. Once they told me that it is going to be dispatched.

                        But, unfortunately, I haven't yet received either the credit card or the said tour package. I have called them a number of times for refund with no luck. As all o[censored]s know, if we delay even a day to pay the credit card dues, you will receive one hundred calls from these kinds of new generation banks. But, if you want to get some money from them, you cannot trace them, they will make you hold for hours, etc.

                        Till the date, I haven't received my money back. I humbly request the concerned authorities in India to take strong actions against these kinds of activities and punish the concerned people as per the country's law.

                        I am writing this mainly to alert the public and advise them to avoid any kind of promotional calls from ABN AMRO BANK in India.

                        ABN AMRO Bank — CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS

                        I am really shocked at your Attitude.

                        On Feb 19th you replied saying that you will be arranging to send the Medi claim Document's.

                        I am Really shocked till now I had not received the Document's.

                        On Jan 18th the deal was finalised.Till Now I had not received the Document's. Without seeing the Document's you had Debited the Amount to my Account.

                        Till now I had not even got the Document's.

                        Upon that the Wrong amount debited to my Account.For this Easy Pay you do the Investigation that what was told to me on that day.Based on what Commitment the Easy Pay was Finalized.

                        I want you to do the Investigation.I want that Report.This Amounts were not explained to me.

                        I will not leave this case like this this.I will fight till the last.

                        Even I was told on 27/12/08 at 10:00 am by your Executive that I had won a gift of LG TV.

                        All your Manpower are cheating the Customer's.

                        This is too much.

                        I am going to Complaint this Matter to RBI, MRTP etc if Justice not given to me.

                        I cannot keep quite.

                        Nobody had dared to call me till now.

                        ABN-AMRO ONE CreditCard — ABN Amro is cheating the customers

                        Hi have given a request to the bank to cancell my creditcard as I am leaving India for long time and I paid all and made the balance to ZERO and I just Ignored about it as I have already gave request to cancel the card. After 6 months I got an e-mail saying that you have outstanding amount on ur card.

                        I was surprised, they charged me annual fee and charges, I gave the call to CC and they told to me that they will reverse and cancell the card this time. but same is happening every month since last 6 months. every month I am giving the call they are saying the same. But issue is still pending. I have given so many complaints and no complaint was addressed yet.

                        Can some one help me what should I do? I was frustated with the service of ABN and decided to educate my family and friends beaware of fraud trick of ABN and maintain distance with such cheating banks.

                          I have taken a Personal Loan from Abn Amro bank (loan A/C no.9487152) for my Mother's treatment. When I have received my Cheque from Abn Amro With their Loan Schdule, I have found that 13493.00 Rs. has been deducted on Account of Insurance Premium. But on Application form of bank, I have not made any Signature on Column of Insurance policy & in advance I made very clear to bank that I dont want any Insurance. But bank has made my forged Signature. When I Complaint to cancel this Insurance & amount will refund to me, their customer care Assure me for this & promise me that no EMI will be deducted from my account. I have also not Encash Their Cheque. But bank has deducted EMI regularly from my account, I have Comlaint & Demand of my Loan Agreement & form Where Forged Signed had made, But they always gived me only Assurance, I had amde Complaint to RBI( Banking Ombdusman ), Governer & also to Police but no action had been taken against them. I had request so many times to bank for registering Police Complaint against the Culporist, that had made this job. But all top Employees of bank want to save them.In this time my Mother was Expired. I also had taken a loan from private financer on very high interest rate, for my mother treatment. Bank has deducted 8 Emi from my account & made my Credit History Very Poor. So I requested to Forum to look in this matter & give necessary directions to Bank. I shall be thankfull to You.

                          ABN AMRO Bank is in habit of doing this they did wid me the same thing while giving the credit card.
                          Secondly, what they have done is gave a easy cash loan of 40000 around in april 2008 of which emi was 2115/- per month. without informing me of the due date they fixed due date on 22nd april for the 1st emi due of which i got the information late and they charged a late fine in the next bill due after paying the amount with in 3 days of getting the information when i complained to there service desk calling for payments the asked to pay the EMI amount which was 2115/- in may 2008. I paid the amount the same thing happened in the next month bill and they asked me to pay the EMI amount and which was collected from there end. the same thing continued for 5 months around which annoyed me i called up the service desk and the assured the same thing that it will be reversed in the next bill you just make the EMI payment. But this time I calculated the total amount due less the late fine assured of reversel + 3% and service tax which came around 34950/- I made the payment of 35000/- in end of sept 2008 as the statement generation was 2nd of every month and which the received. I informed then of the full payment. So I end up paying them 2115*6+35000/- thats around 47690/- + processing fees charged.
                          Now I was of the feel that the payment has been made in full but what they did was adjusted the amount paid against emi and now they are saying that i have to pay another 9000/- for closing the account because the account was not closed were as i have surrendered my ABN card in Dec'08 after clearing all my outstanding is it justified.
                          After several Emails regarding there services to the ABN Card services they are not ready to close the account and are not reversing the late fine which was charged on me for there misinformation and assured of reversal at least on five occasions i have asked then to go by there recorded statement but to no use.
                          I am not going to make any more payments because of there wrong and misleading information.
                          OF late they have started calling and harressing me over phone.
                          please help me out of this situation

                              due to unauthorized and illegal use of my credit card for purchases whose details are mentioned below.
                              1.Ebay.com 7th Feb 2007 Rs.13577.16
                              2.ANZ Amazon 8th Jan 2007 $ 149.78
                              3.ANZ Amazon 9th Jan 2007 $ 274.93
                              4.Pizza Hut 9th Jan 2007 Rs.956

                              The first three are online and the 4th transaction is made at Mumbai. You need to kindly note that the above details were received by the customer care on request, as the above transactions have not been done by me. I am a resident of Bangalore and the date of these transactions I was in Bangalore and not at Mumbai.
                              Also I received no mobile alerts for the above transactions inspite of subscribing for the same. Received an alert only on 10th Jan 2007 after which I called the Customer care and requested for investigation. I immediately had my card blocked and a new card with No: [protected] was dispatched
                              to me. A complain was registered with the bank official and all supporting documents with details were sent to the bank as given below.
                              1. Courier thru Professional Couriers on 22nd Jan 2007
                              2. Courier thru Inland Couriers on 10th Feb 2007
                              3. Registered Post on 20th Mar 2007

                              I have all the acknowledgement receipts for the above. I had to send the documents multiple times as the bank officials repeatedly mentioned that they had not received the documents.
                              As for the card statement dated 5th Apr 2007, the above-mentioned transactions have been credited with provision of temporary credit. But only one
                              transaction dated 8th Jan 2007 for an amount of Rs.13577.16/- there has been a reversal of temporary credit dated 7th Mar 2007.On speaking to the customer
                              care on 29th Apr 2007, the official by name Mr.Mohit mentioned that further to the investigations they have found that I am liable for the particular transaction.
                              I would like to mention that I am not responsible for any of the above-mentioned transactions.
                              Request you to kindly have the above mentioned case of fraud to be thoroughly investigated to avoid such cases to be repeated. Also make a note that I am not
                              liable for payment towards the same, as I don't hold the responsibility of the transactions. But I have been receiving repeated call from the bank for repaying which is proving to be a mental torture.

                              Expecting a sincere effort from your end for investigation of the above-mentioned case and help me out of this misery.

                              PS: I had tried lodging an FIR but was asked to from one police station to the other but in vain.Even the cyber crime branch at Bangalore was not helpful.

                              ABN AMRO — ABN AMRO Credit Card Statement Fraud

                              Hai,

                              I was using ABN AMRO credit card (Card No. [protected]) for more than a year, i made a transaction into EMI's which i preclosed it after 6 mnths completion, i have also paid the pre closure fees.

                              But still they are generating statments for my EMI's and charged late fee also for not making last month payment ( Fraud stmt generated ).

                              Suggest me whether this can be taken up legally.

                              More or less similar case with me, after paying all the instalments also they are showing the EMI principal in the bill and they are deducting that amount from the available funds.

                                I hold the ABN AMRO credit card no [protected]. Earlier in 2008, there was a wrong transaction made on my card for some Airline Promotional Offer. Inspite of my refusal, the transaction was taken into consideration by the promotions/marketing team and I never received any Tickets offered. I noticed this in the subsequent statements and Informed the Customer Care during 2008 and requested to revert the transaction amount around 3500 as that was a dispute transaction. The customer care executive arranged a call with one of the ABM AMRO managers who confirmed that the transaction will be reverted as that was not done intentionally. Also, I requested to close the Card.

                                Surprisingly, I came to know that the Card is just blocked instead of closing and the same dispute transaction was not reverted to my account and till date a balance of 7367 is pending for settlement. I'm facing the problem in getting new loans as this transaction amount is reflecting in my CIBIL reports.

                                It is unfortunate that a reputed bank like ABN is not considering the requests made through phone banking. This simple issue is effecting my credit score.

                                  In the month nov 2009 received call from ABN AMRO marketing person that u r VIP customer and u r selected best 50 member, The amn amro bank offer u wrist watch and hotel stay package from Effort BPO delhi. You required just book the offer and its will get reverse so u dont required to pay any amount. I told him i am not intrested then continus he asking me for 2 week with his senior. They gave lot of promisses and get the offer book from me. I complaint to ABN regarding this matter but still no solution ABN AMRO. Even they not taking any action of such froud minded people r working in their marketing team. If anybody then pl send mail , i will forward mail to abn amro bank..

                                    Dear Sir

                                    I am troubled by the services of ABN AMRO. I want to sue them as I have already closed my account and I have all the proofs of acknowledgement of closing the account even then they are sending me bank statement and charging me for not balancing the minimum balance.

                                    Please help me. I am harassed a lot this Bank located which is located in Bangalore.

                                      Hi ,

                                      My credit cards details are [protected]. I am associated with bank from Last 5 years, this is first time i am facing an issue with your bank.

                                      I am Arpit Rawal and there is case of FALSE SELLING against ABN AMRO Credit Card division. Product name is “World is Yours” and Transaction done for this is in the name of “EFFORT BPO LTD” of Rs. 9900.

                                      Nearly in the 1st or 2nd Week of Dec-2009, I received a call from ABN AMRO stating that “You are our privileged customer and basis the same, the bank is offering you a unique offer WORLD IS YOURS. In this offer you bank will provide you a discount card which will work across [some] restaurants across the world. Along with this you will be provided stay across the world for 5 days/4 nights and a pair of Sonata wrist watch. The charges would be Rs.9900”.Post discussing with the executive I refused for the offer as I am not interested for this big amount.

                                      By nearly 18-Dec-09, I again received a call stating “I am RAHUL AHUJA, SENIOR EXECUTIVE calling on behalf of ABN AMRO Bank and this call is being recorded for future references. You can clarify all your doubts regarding the payment for this offer”. In this conversation, I was clearly told that if I book hotel then ONLY I will be paying the amount (Rs9900) else if I am not booking any hotel then I don’t have to pay anything. I confirmed this at least 4 times before proceeding for the transaction, to which he replied that this is also written in the documents which you will receiving post doing the transaction. I also inquired him regarding how this would be maintained in credit card statement. He said- this will be present in your card statement in the lower shell for your reference for the next 6 statements and this would not billable unless you book hotel. Once you book the hotel it will come in your billing section. After 6 statements this offer will automatically expire. I also asked him that your executive told me that this offer cannot be reversed, to which he again clarified that if you book hotel then you cannot go for reversal. Also he told me that executives are being provided with the scripts which they have to read as it is. His last sentences for convincing me are “Trust me, this call is being recorded and as you are our privilege customer, I am giving you my direct number. This number is given only to privilege customers like you, and only senior executives of ABN AMRO bank will be solving all your queries from now on”. The priority number he gave me was [protected]. After inquiring every detail, I did the transaction using phone.

                                      After completion of my credit card cycle and post receiving statement, I was surprised to see that this amount is coming under billable section i.e. I have to pay now. This is 1st FRAUD as this should be in non billable section unless I am booking hotel. So I called up the above mentioned priority number and surprisingly I was connected to WHO instead of ABN AMRO priority customer helpline. This was 2nd FRAUD, I was misguide with wrong contact information. To this I requested ABN AMRO stating each detail for the reversal of this offer as what commitment was given to me is not fulfilled (Complaint no : [protected]). Executive from ABN called me after few days and asked for every detail and later he said that I would get back to you after sometime. 1 week later I called up cust. Care to inquire about the status of the query and they informed that “We cannot do anything, you have to pay this. Someone might have called you on behalf of ABN AMRO, but we have not called you”.

                                      I work in private sector in gurgaon and till date I pay entire amount with in due date. My credit cards track and loan tracks are excellent. Till date I have always paid my outstanding with in due time. I would request you to kindly look into the matter and kindly do the appropriate.

                                        HI,
                                        I am holding ABN Amro card. Every month I used to pay bill by submitting cheques by dropping it in ABN Amro ATM. Due to ineffeciency of their cheque collection department they produce the cheque to my bank (ICICI) in 10 - 12 and I end up paying extra charges that makes aroung 1000/- including late fee, service charges and interest on billed amount.

                                        Finally I decided to close this card by paying all billed and unbilled amount by dropping cheque in ATM and informed Bank about closure of card and issuing me NOC. After paying all my dues I never make any transaction. This time they again took time and submitted the bill after generating next month bill of service charge and all other charges.

                                        Since then I am following up with bank to reverse the unecessaray charges and issue me NOC but always my request is getting rejected and collection depertment are giving me thretening calls.

                                        Please help me.
