Dear Sir Product : ACER ICONIA ONE TABLET Serial Number : NTL4FSM[protected]C00 Purchase Date : 21/Oct/2014 Purchased Mode : Online (Through Amazon.in) Contact : [protected] I would like to raise a series of COMPLAINTs on this TABLET here. I am facing Frequent problem with this TABLET from the days i have purchased. Key Problems: =========== 1. Once the tablet is charged for even 1 to 2 hours, the charge is not in STANDBY. Its immediately showing it as RED (meaning no charge). So if we UNPLUG from the POWER source the TAB is getting switched off immediately. 2. TAB is getting HANGED very frequently 3. TAB volume is very low I am currently residing in CHENNAI. I have given this TAB as a gift to one of my relative. They are living in HYDERABAD.They are noticing these problems once they started using it [4 Months Back itself].Later they have given this TAB to a service centre [around 2 Months back] in HYDERABAD as the WARRANTY is available. They took around 2 weeks and Later given the TAB back saying all the problems FIXED that time. TAB was working for few days [Atleast the charge problem wasn't there] properly even though the VOLUME problem was still there.Later again they are noticing the same problem now.So the TAB is brought back to CHENNAI by myself now [This week].I am totally UNSATISFIED with the quality of this TAB. I am planning to take this TAB again to a service centre in CHENNAI. But i dont know whether these problems will be fixed properly and wont come back at all. Is it possible for you to take this COMPLETE DEFECTIVE PIECE OF TAB and provide me the NEW WORKING ONE as a COMPENSATION? Kindly revert me with your reply. Regards Jegan

    Hello acer. I have a complaint against one of your engineers. Around 2 weeks back i complained on your that my laptops sound system isnt working. Acer did send one of its engineers to my house. He did check my laptop and said that it needed a replacement of the speaker. The engineer who came to my place was Vikas. I got my complaint registered by the name of Krishna Chhabria. I want u to check your records once as i dont remember my case id number. Vikas's phone number is [protected]. He took around 11 days only to get a speaker for my laptop after which he says that the motherboard needs to be replaced. He wasnt working as i wanted him to. The service provided by you is not appealing at all. It takes huge amount of time for any of your engineers to replace any small part of my laptop. I want you to look into the matter and resolve my issue. I dont enough time to wait any longer. Either you'll send the new motherboard by tomorrow or give my money back or give me a new laptop. I need a solution to my problem immediately. And one more thing the man against whom i am complaining works in sound solutions which is one of your service centers.       This is V.Rajendran from Hosur. October 2010 i puirchased Acer - TFT monitor H163HQ model. 2 months back suddenly it was blank. i contacted customer care. As per their advice I have contacted Acer support call center. They advised to contact this no [protected]. Then again i advised to contact IT lab – Hosur, (contact no.:[protected] they told me that Monitor Power supply is problem and the parts will not be available also we cannot do anything.Again I contacted this no. [protected], they told me that, since the product is not under warranty we cannot do anything.I was really frustrated. Now I want my monitor to be serviced, guide me.       I was complained on 13.03.2015 regarding monitor issues. So far no reply and actions any. I never expected such a poor responsibility from Acer. I want my monitor to be serviced. Please reply on priority.
      Again acer is proved that they are least bother about customer complaints.till now there was no response.

        I am very disappointed & dissatisfied from ACER service & support. If this kind of Service & Support is provided by ACER to their escalated customer than what about the normal customer who is unable to reach you. Due to pathetic service & support by ACER Team I will not suggest to anyone to buy the ACER Products. Within 7-8 months of purchase I was facing Speaker Problem in my laptop. I raised the complaint Engineer visited & changed the speaker & my laptop speaker was changed in 7 days approx. As per knowledge & understanding that small parts are always available in your Service Centre that customer minor issues can resolved in single visit. But again laptop started problem in Jan-2015 & I called 4 times to ACER Call centre to register my complaint but every time I got response from your Call centre to call after 45-60 mins as server is down. When I called 5th time than my complaint was registered & on 17th Jan 2015 ACER Engineer visited my place & said that it’s PCBA problem & PCBA will be replace on 19-Jan-2015. But after that no response from ACER team about my problem solution & when I again escalated than I got the information that required part will be replace on 23-Jan-2015. Today I received the call from your team at 4:00 pm approx. that will visit your place at 6:00 pm approx with the required part & will resolve your issue. But at 6:00 pm again I received the call from your Engineer that I have collected the part now & visiting your place with 1 to 2 hours & will resolve your issue. I cancelled my whole day schedule & waiting for ACER engineer & 6 pm I got to know that within 1 hrs Engineer will visit my place. I am totally fed-up & harassed by ACER that my whole day is wasted. If that kindly of service & support is provided by IT leading company than I am not interested to continue with ACER.

          Hello My name is Manoj Sharma. I bought an acer laptop on 11/05/2013. with the extended warranty of 3 yrs. i.e. till 11/06/2016. I did a complain regarding the panel is scratching and making noise while i opens or closes the laptop.It is internal problem. Complain ID No. is 1141540I dt. 27/01/2015. I sent them the pictures also where the problem is. After Lots of phone conversations and e-mail process right now they are saying it is not covered under warranty. i m saying why they did not tell me when they were selling me the extension of warranty. where are the terms and condition were written that this is not in warranty. How can they say that you have to pay charges for the same. It is unethical and unfair deal.. your's concern will give me the strength to raise my voice against corruption. thank you.. manoj sharma [protected] / [protected]

Sub: Very poor performance of the ACER Laptops – Reg. This is with great regret and sorrow I may inform you that the poor performance of the ACER Laptops. I purchased an ACER ASPIRE Laptop from Thaverparambil Digital Shop, Santhom Complex, Pala on[protected] with an instant cost of ₹ 29500/- with great expectations. But from the very beginning itself it shows symptoms of discomfort in booting and unwanted shut-off on working. I approached the dealer for rectification or replacement. But in my experience they have done nothing to clear off the defects. The System was totally out of use by the last of October 2014, only 5 months from purchase. I again approached the dealer with the System on 1st November 2014 to make it serviceable or to replace immediately. They received the Laptop and assured me to rectify my grievance positively with in a week. But neither the dealer nor the supplier rectified the complaint till date. Now the dealer argues that the delay is from the part Acer Company and they are liable to replace the defective system. I am working in an Official capacity in a Public Sector Undertaking and the only motivation to acquire a Laptop is to assist me in my brisk official duties. Both all my personal and official data are stored in the system for ready and future reference and the related on going business. Now everything is blocked due to the defect of the system you have supplied. I am mentally and financially distressed a lot only due to defective Acer Laptop the company supplied. If it is further delayed the only way open to me is to forward my grievance to a legal forum. But still I have the hope that the well reputed Acer Company can easily solve my grievance by replacing the defective Laptop with a new one in good working condition, as it covers warranty offered by the Company.                   On[protected], I have purchased an ACER Iconia one 7-B1-740 tablet through Amazon.in . While receiving the product on[protected] by courier service, it is noticed that some area of the touch screen is not working.So I have approach the Acer Customer service center at Ernakulam (Kochi) for re-placement.But unfortunately they are not accept my request and they said that this is a manufacturing complaint but can not be re-placed if buying through on line.But in the guarantee agreement this matter is not specified. Accordingly they have take product for repair vide job no:10424 dt[protected]. Any how the product didnot get me back till date. My complaint is that this product may be re-placed because this is a manufacturing error.

                    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I was given a number by the Geek Squad, tech support, at Best Buy, the location where I bought my Gateway computer. I called the suggested number[protected] to purchase a recovery disc. After I entered the snid number [protected] on my computer, I was redirected to another to another person who said, we will get your computer up and running like new. You will not need a recovery disc. He said it will cost you $149 for a years’ service. I agreed to the plan, assuming the phone support was more informed than the support I had been given or it is his job to sell the support plan. I waited for some time for a technician to come on line.We worked together for an hour to get my computer booted up. In the end he told me I needed a recovery disc. I was told that by the Geek Squad at Best Buy that I needed a recover disc. So why did I have to deal with this situation, If I ask for the recovery disc that was suggested by tech support where I purchased my computer, why would the tech support on the telephone know more than the technician with the computer in front of them? In the end it appears that the telephone support is trying to sell the plan. When I received the disc in the mail, I used the instructions included to reboot my computer, which is currently working perfectly. So, to do so, it cost me $149 plus the $19 for the disc to reboot. I feel I was taken advantage of through your system of support, and am requesting credit for the $149 be given my credit card.                       I had a problem in LCD of my laptop V 121 model. Since it was in warranty period gave for repairing at Patna SP verma road service centre. They took 50 days to repair my LCD and when I took it back the battery was critically discharged. When I approached they told since now it is not under warranty period I need to purchase battery. It was ACER fault did not charge the battery during servicing, took 50 days to repair so critically discharged.

                      Never waste your money by buying Acer Laptop. Service is very very bad. They don't accept their fault. Acer only knows how to torture their customer.
                      I am thankful to Acer specially to Mr.Himanshu, Acer service head, Bihar for understanding my problem and solving it.

                        Dear Sir/Madam I purchased a ACER TFT monitor from Supreme the IT Mall on 12/8/2011 which was replaced by them on 13/5/2014 due to some technical problem on the Monitor purchased on 12/8/2011. Now I am facing problem with resolution and color of the screen of the replaced Monitor.                           POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE -- Acer S7 392 / sl no MXMBKSI00532908C312000 (Under Warranty) Would like to bring to your notice POOR SERVICE faced by me, I reported my laptop at AFORESERVE.COM.LTD(Acer Authorised Service center) located at 35 CR avenue, Kol 12 on 13/10/2014, I got a call on 16th that my Laptop is done (CAll ID 972313I ), When I collected the same I found the same Problem and resubmitted the same on 17/10/14. On 20th I got the call that my laptop is ready, when I asked to be sure than they are saying that my complain is re lodged with ID 982170I . Since 27th Service center is saying that my part is in Kolkata but they have not receive it, TOTAL HARASSMENT. Till Date I have not got back the Laptop, If you cannot serve high end laptop customers (Costed Rs 1 Lac), stop selling them . I have also written to Jitendra Chopra (jitendra.[protected]@acer.com) on 22nd Oct but have not got any response. Pathetic SERVICE OF ACER, who do not have any define TAT. I WANT MY LAPTOP IN PERFECT CONDITION ASAP.

                            i have logged a call regarding my monitor servicing which is under warranty period. i have logged call on the 10/10/2014 and today is 21/10/2014 still i have not received any call and progress response from acer side . if this the service quality of acer than a pan shop service is better than acer. most pathetic service i have ever recieved from any company . in future before bying acer product i will think 10 times. my case no:--969978i

                              Sir/ma`am- i send this mail before 1 month and yet they did not respond my mail . Please go through this mail and you would get all info regarding my problem subject-regarding recklessness of service center and broken down my laptop battery. hello sir/ma`am this is Bhupendra Singh and product no. of my laptop is NXM12SI02224313F3B1601 Product model-E1-531 and acer easy care serial no. is ECN[protected] with OS windows 7 home basic had a problem of formating and it was getting on and off without complete booting but battery was properly in working condition so i gave it to service center after consultation with customer care with service center ID named as Bhupendra Singh and serial no 878288I and was send to Sikandarpur bashisht complex 128 where i told my discrepencies, they told me it to recieve after 1 day or that eve. but when they called me in eve for collecting my laptop then they added that my battery is also broken down and they charged me Rs1000 for softwere installation charge and send me back by saying that they will talk for the same<battery approval> for approval as my battery they saw in working condition but had broken down in their vigilance but next day they denied by saying that your approval could not pass so you will have to purchase other one bearing your own expenditure, Dear Ma`am/Sir please tell me some idea to cope up with this coz i collected money for two year then after i purchased laptop in 2013 but due to service center mistakes why should I suffer and the thing is i do not have that much money too to purchase other battery which may be cost of 6k-7k specially when it hasn`t broken down becouse of me. please i trusted your brand image but due to some peoples carelessness I`m in lurch. please take a proper action and sort out my discrepancies. your sincerely

                                  I bought an “Acer Aspire V5 – S71G” laptop from “Shri Balaji Computers” on March 16 ‘2014. Within 4 months of purchase I discovered a 2 technical default in the systems hardware. Issue 1 When we close the flap of the laptop, the screen touches the keyboard and the keyboard buttons start pressing on their own. This is while the laptop is on but flap is shut. We face a problem when we are listening to music or watching a movie by connecting it with TV set HDMI cable. Also, when we open the flap afterwards, we can see the marks of keyboard keys on the screen due to dust. Issue 2 The flap of the laptop makes a “Tic” noise when we open it with one hand. You can see it in the picture I have attached to get an idea of the exact place where the “Tic” noise is experiences by us. (Please see image 1 and 2) We called and approached the Service Centre of Acer to address this issue and we faced several concerns with the Service centre which caused us a lot of trouble with respect to time, coordination, travel and misleading. I am writing them down to you so you can help us on the same. Concern 1 On our first visit to the Service Centre in Nehru Place we were told that the laptop is out of warranty or guarantee as in the Service Centre’s system it shows a purchase made in 2012 and not 2014. I was carrying the original bill with me but still it was not held good. I was told that the staff will get back to me in 2 to 3 working days after consulting with their seniors. Concern 2 Thankfully I got a call from the service centre in a couple of days. I was asked to get in touch with a staff member named “Sachin” (at Nehru place service Centre). I told him about my issues as written above. Sachin wrote a note and attached to my system. the note said “ HDMI DIS-SCONNECT WHILE CLOSING THE LID….” . On my asking that its not the same problem I mentioned to you, he told me that it means the same (I don’t know how). Nevertheless, no mention about the lid noise was mentioned on the note. I was told it will be taken care of. Concern3 I got a call after a few days that the repairs have been done and I sent my sister to collect the system and check whether these 2 issues have been addressed. The laptop was handed over in the same condition as it was given with software changes. The lid noise was still there and about the lid closing issue Mr. Sachin explained that “it’s a common irreparable problem with all the slim laptops these days. The only solution is to keep a fiber sheet in the middle of the keyboard and screen all the time.” Concern 4 I was asked to take out all my data from the system before giving it for repair. When I got it back the system was formatted and two more drives were added to it without giving me any prior notice at the time of leaving it in the service centre for repair to even a call later on to seek for my consent. Even at the time when my sister went to collect the system, she wasn’t informed that your laptop is being formatted. I would request this matter to be taken up by the concerned department. I am attaching the Purchase bill and service centre bill along with some images of the system so the reader can understand the concen better.                                     when laptop switched on, no command is accepting, and the address bar getting full with some symbols like =.+. etc.. i cant use my laptop right now .and mouse pad is not working.when i use external mouse and click on some application it is blinking, and no keys are working properly, so do the needful, it is very bad to say that i brought this laptop on[protected], within 1 year it got complaint, it has 3 years of warranty, so i except the call or the needful as soon as possible.

                                        I had registered a complaint regarding my Acer Laptop . But I after 1 month I have not get any resolution till today. They have to just replace the laptop hard disk. But still they have not able to replace it even after 1 month.Every time when call to service center they are giving same answer We have not get the part, Very very very bad service.
