Acer laptop developing scratches on panel even after cleaning. The laptop is at acer service centre malappuram for the last one month. During the time they brought 3 times the laptop to me claiming that they resolved the problem but while opening the lap by their technician at our place the problem was noticed and taken back.. According to them they have changed the lcd panel and keyboard. We feel that it is manufacturing defect so the lap to be replaced or cash to refunded . We had sent 5 mails to their sales staff mr.Nikhil but none of the mails are acknowledged or replied.

    We went to Croma, Rajouri Garden, New delhi-110027, on 30/06/2014 to buy notebook where the salesperson convinced us for Acer notebook E1-510 by telling that buy Acer E1-510 & get philips notebook sound bar worth Rs.2499/- absolutely free (He said this is a web redemption offer) & this promo was also tagged on product demo at Croma.

    He suggested us to swipe the card to pay Rs.22749/- the amount that day & product will be available by the next day as it was out of stock.

    The next day on 01/07/2014 when we went there to get the delivery of our product i.e Acer E1-510 notebook and asked him how to get this promotion online i.e philips notebook sound bar worth Rs.2499/- absolutely free Then he said that philips notebook sound bar worth Rs.2499/- is not free on this notebook i.e E1.

    At that point of time we came to know that he is an employee of Acer not of croma.

    we were shocked about his miscommitment even he knew & discussed this offer also available at vijay sales and we have already shown to him the newspaper cutting of Delhi Times, Times Of India, Sun, 29/06/2014, in which vijay sales ad published at the time of booking of notebook i.e 30/06/2014, and he assured that same offer is also available here with 5% cash back from Sbi card & you will get extra 5% benefit if you buy it from Croma.

    After all, Then we argued in that case we wanted to cancel it as it was already available on vijay sales. Janak puri, New Delhi . why should we buy it from croma. we could get that same promotion from there, even that he knew this offer available at vijay sales, his reply was that we can do so but we have to buy some other product for the same amount as the money will not be refunded . so we were forced to buy that because we did not have any other option .

    On 06/07/2014 the same ad of vijay sales published in Delhi Times. Times Of India, we made a call to him and told about this ad. He clearly refused and said that nothing can be done in this regard, it will be just wastage of time.

    After all that we emailed many times to acer sales team at [protected]@acer.co.in, but still didn't get any revert back in this regard.

    we don't know who is the culprit CROMA OR ACER but we are the victims. there should be justification.

      Respected Team, This is regarding the ACER monitor complaint where our monitor`s button was not at all working. We had placed the complaint to ACER call centre on[protected] with complaint number - 793897I(I - "i" capital alphabet) and they had given us the chennai service centre number t contact to on the same. After repeated phone calls to the service centre, a Service Engineer named "Sudarshan" came and rectified the issued by replacing the monitor only on 2-7-2014. The service engineer`s tone of voice and response was very unprofessional saying that we need to adjust with things etc. After changing the monitor, the monitor stand is now shaky, the display is little bluish and that the monitor looks old with scratches present here and there on the panel. When enquired on the same, with CITI Computer Services Manager - Nagarajan, they said that the monitor is new and that the engineer would come again and check. Meanwhile, whenever we call and speak to the representative in the service centre (not sure of his name) they keep telling us to adjust with the monitor and not crib about it and that there is only one Service Engineer across Chennai, so he feels sick often and is continuosly on field trips and is not able to attend the issues etc. Its been 3 days and they have not come still. Hence we booked a new complaint with the ACER customer care, complaint number - 805989I(I - "i" capital alphabet) The customer care gave us the service centre number again and after calling them they give the same excuse of only one service engineer and that we need to adjust little bit etc. They dont seem to be customer service oriented and that they are not at all professional and polite in their tone and approach to the issue. Inspite of repeated calls, the service centre says that they need to check the stock and if the stock is available then it would take 3 - 4 days for them to get a new one and after that based on availability of service engineer, they will come and replace the monitor. Please take serious action so that they be more professional and polite to customers and resolve the issues quickly. Kindly tell them to replace mine with new monitor which has been checked and found to be working properly. Thank you very much! Jai Hind!

          I have called up Acer customer care toll free number [protected] at 12.43 hrs on 6/June/14. Male Call centre representative did not let me explain my complain & used abusvie language & disconnected call.Call would be in their recording system & details of representative would be reflective & traceable. Had called up again to lodge complain against the customer care representative but his colleague Sarabjit & team leader Manish did not let me forward my complain. I would like register my complain against the call center employee & bring it to Acer's notice that while associating themselves with such low level of customer care 'am sure it will impact their business & sales. I will certainly not advice anyone to buy Acer product since it is a huge issue & time consuming process to register a product complain at their customer care especially if your product is within warranty period.

The system was functional initially. However the monitor display do not show anything now .I called toll free numbers many times in vain. I want the monitor to be replaced at the earliest.               I was gifted an Iconia A1000 Tab by a friend from US. its software got corrupted.The tablet is no more under warranty. I tried to get online support calling the customer Care Support talking to one Mr. Suraj but to no avail. He suggested me to take it to Acer service Lounge, Nehru Place, New Delhi. When i went there they informed that this model has not been launched in India and its software is not available with them. They said they wud charge Rs. 10000/- for changing some internal part after which it wud start working fine. They also informed that a new tablet wud cost around Rs. 8000/- I was disgusted by their callous attitude. that instead of rectifying the problem they were telling me to purchase a new tablet.i found out from some online shopping site that Iconia A 100 is very much available in India for Around Rs. 15000/- I never expected this kind of treatment from a comapny like Acer. Kindly solve my problem

                  Hi, i have purchased ace all in one system from lamington road, & with in 7 days it got dead. I have complainted to acer & they ask me to submit at digicom service center. I did the same & after 4 days digicom replies he do not do service for all in one, what the hell he did with my system i dont know.
                  Again i called acer customer care they said mumbai centeral service center person come do the repair, but again 5 days after no body came.
                  Again i called acer they said lalbaug service center person will come & he came after 3 days & told he will get it repair in 10 working days.
                  But after 15 days when i called him he said they dont have spares for repair. So i asked him to replace with new one. But he refused.
                  Then finally i called service head of acer mr.Piyush. He told me to do some need full, but again same story from last 4 months they r playing with me & every time comiinting that they will replace with new one, but finally last week means after 4 months they send new pc. But when i opened it to check in front of his guy . It was dead again & his person also confirmed its dead pc.
                  Now so many follow ups no result. I wasted 35000/-. & now i will do complaints in consumer forum.

                    My name is samrat bhattaharjee and within a couple of days after buying the laptop, the speaker was not working properly. I made a complain and one engineer came and assured me that it within 4 days the speaker will get replaced. But 14 days gone by, no such thing happened and whenever i call the customer care they say that it will take time. Why should i wait as this is a brand new laptop...Such a disappoinment...They say that acer is not delivering the speaker...

                        I had purchased Zen desire from ACER show room tirumalgiri Hyderabad last year, on two occasion the ACER dealer informed of the 1st free servicing and second time they called me and reminded me for free servicing, after long time there was no phone call from ACER for 3rd free servicing then I called the that my servicing is overdue now ACER people demand for money for servicing, at the time of purchase I was assured that free servicing will be informed by ACER and told me to be worry free, I am owned 3 car all maruti products from past 15 years. First I was having model 800 then ALTO now ZEN desire
                        I have great faith in maruti and services, now I am very disappointed

                          Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Gaurav Sharma and I want to log complaint against the laptop manufacturer Acer and their customer support for not providing me adequate service for my laptop that is still under 3 year warranty. I made complaint to Acer’s customer care around 14th Feb 2014 for my laptop complaint number- 634428I. My laptop was having issues with charging point of mother board. They forwarded my complaint to "Quest Infotech, Lakshmi Nagar, Delhi". They took my laptop to their service center on 15th Feb 2014 and informed me that mother board need replacement. After that I asked them to return my laptop back and they did. Since then the mother board hasn't been replaced. It’s been almost one and half month today and they have been just passing time and lying to me again and again. As per them, they have replaced multiple motherboards in my laptop and all are having some problem. I have written so many mails and called their customer support’s various in charge named as Sonia ([protected], “sonia.[protected]@acer.com”), Mr. Praveen Bisht ([protected], “praveen.[protected]@acer.com”), Mr. Abhijit Sarkar ([protected], “abhijit.[protected]@acer.com”) and they have all lied to me time to time. Nothing has happened for such a long time. Now they have even stopped replying my mails and calls. I am under huge mental stress as I have to waste a lot of time dealing with these peoples. I have been at a lot of financial loss as my wife uses this laptop for professional purpose and she has not been able to work at all. I also requested them to provide me a standby laptop but they didn’t do anything. The problem is battry Backup the company give the backup 4:30 Hr but now the backup is 1:30 Hr. I contact your customer care but they dn’t give the positive reponse. . I want to replace my battery .                                 i launched my complain on 19th December and submitted my notebook on 21th at acer service centre, Meerut, up- 250004. My complain number is 558205i and regularly taking follow up but Acer service centre unable to sort out my problem till date. Everytime they are responding that we have not got the spare parts which is not my problem and they are not bothered for the same. kindly help me to get my notebook repaired.

                                  Sir, On 10.02.2011, Acer aspire 1, A0A 150 Ak S/N:LUS410A[protected]D2535, was sold to me by Computor Infotech Division, 8, Dutta Complex Gol Market, Rajpur Chungi, Agra 282001. Book no.26, Invoice no.1284 dt.10.02.2011for Rs.16300/=. From the very beginning it's battery back up was around>1 hr. and the blue tooth not working.I asked the said seller to swap the battery or the note book but he did nothing. Later I wrote to Acer via [protected]@asgroupagra.com on 26.6.11, but they did not reply.Again I sent reminders to them twice but no response. On visit to their service centre at Agra they refused to change the battery on the plea that it's back up is not less than 30 minutes. I told them that I had bought a Lenovo Laptop on 1.11.2007, whose battery back up was over 4 hours & even after 3 yr 7 months the said Lenovo battery back up is around 100 minutes, but they did not relent..                                       Respected Sir /Madam, I am writing you to express my dissatisfaction with a gateway laptop I bought on 12th may 2013. Model Number - NE56R, Product Serial - 81144, Bill No - SLF02A[protected] I am disappointed with this level of service from Acer, Croma and Repair centre. My repeat request for a replacement have fallen on deaf ears Since I have purchased my laptop from Croma, Lower Parel, Mumbai on 12 May 2013 I have an ongoing issue with my laptop. I notice from the start laptop overheating, slow processing .I visited back to Croma store for replacement but the Department Manager in store kept me waiting for three hours and informed store technician by the name Mr.Tushar to fix the problem. After I waited for three hour they reformatted my laptop and return to me with a promise that I will not face this problem again. That again after few days to my horror my laptop went off I called the support team and told about the problem .I was told to visit the service centre by name General technologies in Grant Road(East), Mumbai (complaint Id 239505I). I visited the service centre on 8th June 2013 where I was told to leave the laptop. Then the next day I called to enquire about the status I was told that the laptop motherboard is faulty and need to be replaced. I called them again to enquire again where I was told that I will receive my laptop by 15 June 2013 but it was not ready on the promise date. That again I called on 17June 2013 where I was told that it will take more time as the motherboard they received for replacement was also faulty and it will take few more days . That since June 8th 2013, my laptop was in the service centre(General Technologies) and the update was given to me on July 10th 2013 that the laptop has been repaired. Despite I wrote a mail for replacement or refund of my laptop. My system had been with the service centre since three months now and I am not sure what all parts in the system have been changed or removed or damaged apart from the problems stated by me. The Laptop has been disappointing since the moment I purchased it. That I regularly wrote mail regarding the delay of my laptop but in response I received a mail that the matter has forwarded to concerned team and someone will update me and they told me to keep patience. That from service team there was no specific update for my complaint so I went again to the store were the customer service person from Croma made a call regarding my complaint to Jaya Shrivastav and told me to speak to her . Then Jaya told me that somebody from Acer will be in touch with me regarding my complaint but no one bother to get in touch with me . That after waited for long again I gave a reminder call on 2nd Sep 2013 to Jaya where she told me that she is fighting for me and there is a delay from Acer as the laptop is in Acer service centre. That again I gave a reminder call to Jaya saying that I have not received a call from Acer but again the same response that they will be in touch with me. That on the same day to my horror I received a call from Service centre to collect my repaired laptop. I call back Jaya and told her that service centre called me and told me to collect my repaired laptop and I am very unhappy about this behavior .That she told me that she is fighting hard for me and will resolve my problem soon. That again after this no one contacted me regarding my problem I regularly tried to get in touch with Jaya but she did not answered my call so I text her but then also I never receive a reply. That again on 23 sept 2013, I called Jaya luckily she answered my phone and gave me excuses and also told me that Mr Mahesh Mahapati from Acer will be in touch with me by tomorrow but whole day I waited I did not received any call. Then again on 26sep 2013, I reminded Jaya that I am waiting for a call from brand and she said today I will receive it. That after months follow up I got a call from Mr.Mahesh Mahpati(Customer Service Manager, Acer ).That he told me that he will not replace or refund as its not under the policy and gave me a option of three months extended warranty and also told me if again anything goes wrong then he will replace my laptop. That I am not happy with this as they want me to suffer again with the faulty laptop if they can replace later then why not now ?.Why they are harassing me from so long ? Is this call a customer service ? I feel very let down by gateway Acer that a laptop I paid Rs 27000 not even worked for few days. However, after this experience, I feel deceived. That now I not only want a refund but I want a compensation for my lost time without my laptop, the money I used to follow for my complaint and for giving me distraction and stress. I am already looking forward for most immediate and amicable resolution. You are most welcome to call me on my mobile anytime for any clarification and /or doubts.                                         AWFUL SERVICE!!!! I bought Acer V-5 series laptop on 24th August.. After just five days its touchpad and lan connector stopped working. I raised a complaint for the same. After having assurance from the engineer for a visit he kept waiting me for 2 days. I called them yet again to know the status but there was no response. After 3 more days when I called them, they replied that part is not yet arrived and upon arrival they will contact me and fix the issue. I heard no response for a week. After a week I raised another complaint, and they reply that my address is not covered in their service. I called up the customer care and they asked me to write a mail regarding the complaint. I did the same but still there was no reply. Yet again I called and the executive said that she has contacted same to her seniors and they will revert back within 30 minutes. Still there is no response. This is a pathetic service by acer. People please refrain from buying acer products. I bought acer on recommendation of my friend, but I feel I made a mistake and wasted my money on this.
