i bought a ACCER 21' inch LCD monitor 8 months back . it was not working properly after 6 months from the purchase and it is under 3 year warranty so i have raised a case with ACCER service center, they said it is gone and they agreed to replace the Monitor and they took it to the service center but there is no response for the last 2 months , i tried calling more than 15 times but still there is no proper response .

    In my laptop one internal device microphone is not working properly. i did one complaint against this through customer care .then an engineer came at my place but he can't resolve this problem. after this i did various mails to company but they r not responding on same . a bull company when can't handle customer's problem then why they r in market? now i decided to go consumer court n definitely i will suit against them.... I am totally upset with the customer care department of this basturd company... i am going very mentally depressed with this company and in future i will never suggest to any one to purchase acer products... Hell is going with this company...

      I brought an acer laptop from tamilnadu Government before 2 months but its not switch on, i get it to authorized service center Salem(Matrix Info-tech)but they told me there is liquid spoilage in the laptop so it will cost 10,300rs for service. but i didn't split any liquid in the laptop please give some remedy for my issue.

      Dear Sir,

      I had purchased Gateway laptop Model no. NB NV59C081 Sl. no. wkv[protected] from Croma, Mulund on 22.8.10 at a cost of Rs. 48,399/-. In the first week of July'11only it was noticed that there was booting problem. It was sent to your service centre and returned on 14.7.11. On receipt at my home the problem persisted and on contacting Croma, they asked you to repair it again. It was sent again to your Service centre and we were informed that there was problem in the Hard disk. It may please be noted that this is all within the Warranty Period

      At the moment, the laptop is at your Service centre. It may please be further noted that I had purchased the laptop as a means of my livelihood and not to be kept as an antic at your service centre. I have contacted Croma umpteen times and they have put their hands up stating that you are not ready to replace the piece.

      I would therefore be grateful if you could kindly look into the matter and reply me per return to my email [protected]@rediffmail.com or contact me immediately on my mobile No. [protected].

      I would also like to pinpoint here that I am forwarding a copy of this mail to the Consumer Court because, I believer that a manufacturer/supplier of your calibre/standing who has got international business and is a reputed name in business circles, ,would not be too happy with the outcome of the Consumer Court's decision, as it would certainly hamper your business standard.

      Trust you will get back to me immediately clarifying the matter .

        I purchased Acer Laptop on Aug. 2011 at CROMA Indiranager Banglore India, which had a booting problam and i had not used cd drive, only i had to use on jun 2012 which did not work, i gave for servicing at Acer servicing centre, there coment, since i did not use it for long time it is not working, they said they will replace the cd drive since it was under warranty. Next my laptop did not work when i switched on it was Nov. 2012, again i had to give it for servicing at Acer Customer service centre that is VAIBHAV SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS INDIA PVT LTD., BANGALORE, Ther coment is NB IS NOT POWERING ON on DC MODE, BATTRY LED IS BLINKING WHEN CHARGER IS CONNECTED., Now they informed over phone on 17.11.2012 that the battry is gone it has to replaced at cost Rs. 5650.00 and service charge Rs.1500.00 please revert back.           This is regarding my Acer Aspire 5742G notebook I had purchased at Croma Store, R-Mall, Thane (G.B. Road) 1.5 years back, with extended warranty for 2 years (beyond 1st year Acer warranty). In early Oct'12 my notebook developed some issue and refused to boot. On checking with Croma Extended Warranty Customer Care on[protected] I was amazed to know that for whole of Mumbai/Thane, one has to take the notebook all the way to Newtech Computers in Powai, the only Authorised Service Partners of Acer with whom Croma has a tie-up to service Croma-Ext War'ty Acer products. My surprise didn't end there. From a fellow Acer user at the Service Center I got to know that Newtech treats Croma Ext-War'ty on low priority, compared to Acer's warranty. i.e. it is advisable for notebook users to opt for Acer's Extended Warranty rather than from 3rd parties like Croma.

          My notebook is diagnosed with some motherboard issue, and despite it being just 1.5 years old model, the Acer Service Center has said that the replacement motherboard is not available with Acer India (Bangalore) either and will be sought from USA. This speaks a lot about the service levels of a major notebook maker. Moreover, the Service Center refuses to give me the tentative resolution time as I have been using a hired PC at home for over 2 months now.

          I would advise prospective customers of Acer / Croma to not opt for extended warranty by Croma on ANY product, and think twice before choosing Acer, which has no commitment whatsoever towards its customers on resolution of issues within warranty periods. My experience with HP notebooks (both on durability & after-sales service standards) has been far better.

          Acer — Acer 5742G notebook

          I purchased Acer 5742G in febraury end.
          Last month the audio jack just stopped functioning for which I submitted my laptop to service centre at vasai (micro age computers)

          Since than it's been a month first the service centre recieved an i3 processor motherboard from banglore head office than after waiting for another 2 weeks they received motherboard with 512 mb onboard graphics memory.
          Mine is an i5 processor with 1 gb graphics memory.

          Still my problem is unresolved and even after tons of calls to customer service and talking to some of the officials at andheri and banglore they are not able to give me any date when the laptop will be available to me

          Acer gives you international warranty but they are not even able to give service locally even in a metropolitan city like mumbai

          Dear Team Croma,

          I have been following up with your Extended Warranty Dept over phone ([protected]) and have been told that the required part (to be replaced on my Acer Aspire 5742G notebook) is yet to be made available to M/s Newtech Computers, Powai, Mumbai, even 50 days after I handed over my notebook to this Acer ASP.

          Moreover, I had also written to Acer and got a prompt response that they have nothing to do with Croma Extended Warranty, indicating that 3rd party warranty customers will have to fend for themselves (or be at the mercy of Croma). Hence, I stand by my earlier statement in my original post / complaint that there is no point in taking Croma's Extended Warranty if it's not backed by the manufacturers. For expensive items like a notebook, I would much rather have it covered under warranty by Acer, the manufacturer, directly. If only I had known of this issue earlier !!!

          Seems I have no choice but to hope and pray that Croma uses its "tie-up" with Acer ASP to get my notebook repaired at the earliest.

          Dear Team Croma,

          After my follow-ups with your Extended warranty Team and posts in social media, my notebook was finally taken away from Acer's ASP and given to a more 'resourceful' service center in Mumbai who replaced the defective motherboard within a couple of days. I have collected the same last month-end and have observed that the notebook has been functioning well as of now.

          Thank you for your intervention and for arranging resolution of my long-pending issue expeditiously.

            sir i am AJAY KUMAR SINGH. My Mob No.[protected].i have purchased my note book D-257 in month of DEC 2011 from Agra. And after 2-3 months problem started i.e. Automatic SHUT DOWN of note book even after BATTERY showing 30-35% leftover charge.in spite of repeated complaint given and matter taken up by service centre the problem still persists. i am very much frustrated by this problem and service/rectification provided by Acer.now i want that my NOTE BOOK SHOULD BE REPLACED AT ANY COST. Further i do not want to visit frequently to service centre for same again problem.kindly do the needful.

              In service center we many time visit and they does not take the problem serious just telling the part of the mobile not came while calling also they are telling this only that the part not came after 3 months on 30 December 2012 we call regional manager MR. Yogesh Sharma they promised that your mobile will be ready on 3 to 4 working days but now when we call in the service center the phone does not working and then we call the regional manager on 7 November 2012 but they are not answering of our call.

                sir,
                I went acer service centre(Address:dotcom,aa-115,shanti colony,anna nagar,chennai-40) primarily for bluetooth issues and speaker problems. They solve the speaker problems but bluetooth remain unsolved.I visited the service centre again,they solved bluetooth issues and created altogether new issues in my laptop,i.e, screen and displays problem.For that i goes again to the same service centre and they did something,taking long duration of delivering.Within an hour o[censored]sing my laptop the same problem persists.Again, i went there, they told the motherboard need to be replaced. And the reason of being facing the problem of screen and display is nothing but the motherboard!!.,that need to be replaced.For the same reason, i went there for four times with complaint numbers:56396,51635,41980 and 7999.AND the same problem came again and again!!...Moreover, the service people have taken a month time or more to solve an issue. They are very late to solve the issues and deliver on time!.
                My laptop is still in service centre,they are not replying anything!! When I call them they used to say, I will call CROMA people and all, about mother replacement and will do the requisite service and call back but they won’t!!! Moreover CROMA PEOPLE ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING!!
                The service people are not replacing the mother boar,even if my laptop is under warranty, giving excuses that are out of our understanding.

                I hope you understand my words and problems and will not enforce me to go for consumer case..

                  I B.N.M.Pratyusha ,pursuing Mtech at Gitam university,vishakhapatnam. sir i purchased ACER laptop model no:ASPIRE 5742 on AUG.14th 2011,at RELIANCEresQ, CMR central, madilapallem, Visakhapatnam. we have taken additional warranty so our laptop expire date is on AUG 14th 2013.my Acer SNID CODE--[protected].
                  Sep21st 2012 we have given our laptop to RELIANCE resQ ,cmr central due to the problem in the laptop i.e.,that its automatically switching off and their gave on OCT.3rd 2012 and their said that Mother Board was replaced but it was not rectified additionally Two more problems was araised those are CD drivers were not detecting and also the Lanport pin was not working so, again we gave on OCT 7th 2012. And also our OPERATING SYSTEM was totally trashed in their hands.we lost our whole data.
                  If we called to the RELIANCE resQ ,cmr central for enquiring there are saying that it will be dispatched within 2 days then we waited for 2 more days and if we called back again then there are saying that the problem was not detected and it is not rectified. this is way they are responding. And also sometimes there are saying that due to Dussehra holidays it was not rectified but RELIANCE resQ service is available all round the year..
                  Then i mailed to Customer Support <[protected]@resq.in> and one of their service men(Ganesh,vishakhaptnam) called me and he asked me the problem and he told to contact me shortly but no response from him.
                  Also i received call from Reliancereq, CMR central, madilapallem, Visakhapatnam,they said that acer land port pin was not available so we are replacing new laptop TOSHIBA 5010 which has the same configuration. and again they called me and saying that we purchased the landport pin we will give your laptop only .
                  What is this one time they are saying onething and another time another thing.this is way to do service and it that Acer spare pasts are not available? And we are totally and completely not satisfied with your service.Is acer company there are not?
                  I am a mtech student,i had lot of project works due to this my work was pending this is due to the negligence of the reliance service.
                  This is the way to response and how many days it will take to rectify the problem and also response from them was also not good.and we are not satisfied with your services.
                  Finally make sure that our laptop should be given within 3 days with fully rectified or Replace the new one

                          i was purchase a acer aspire one d 270 from veejay sales vashi on 16/Sep/2012 after purchasing the laptop there is problem within seventeen days i was launch a complaint on call center case id[protected] dated 3/Oct/2012 i visited to service center they are told me there some problem with touch pad i was ready to repair they are replaced that part but the problem is as it is now they are saying the problem with mother board in this condition how i accept repaired PC this is fully manufacturing defect and call center person's say ed we cant replace the laptop we can only repair
                          i don't understand what can i do , please help me sir i want replacement and they are not Raddy to giving me replacement

                            ACER computers — System crashed because of fake windows operating software

                            Dear sir/madam,
                            I bought a ACER laptop from a shop in District Center, and they gave me a fake windows operating software in the pretext of giving original. My sister went to UK with the laptop for her research works study. Within 07 days, the system got crashed and my sister lost all her data, which was very vital and important for her. I hope u understand the value of DATA in research works, it takes alot of labour. Then, she went to ACER's service center in UK, where she came to know that the operating system was fake and no data could be restored. It was a great loss and nearly missed out the promised date of submitting her final project report, due to which she had to suffer alot.
                            This thing could have costed us a loss of 25 LAKHS. (the cost of doing MBA in UK).

                            I went to the dealer here in Delhi, and asked him to give us a original software CD.
                            But he refused bluntly and that hurts really really bad.
                            Kindly intervene sir, because I dont want others also to go through this kind of ordeal. These type of people needs to be taught a lesson and punished. So, that they dont cheat costumers ever in there life.

                            ACER computers — Lid of Laptop is breaking off

                            2 Years ago I purchased a new Acer Laptop TravelMate 7720. After allready 1 year ago one crack appeared on the lid of the Laptop on the hinge now the second crack on the lid at the other end is also showing up. We use the laptop only occasionally when travelling as we got a desktop.
                            How can a company like ACER bring a design faulty laptop on the market ?

                              I have purchased Acer aspire laptop last yr in Dec,since then I have some prob regarding my hardware and software as well.But to my disappointment I have a lot more prob came together in the machine .On 14 sept-12 , I went to the dealer and told him the condition of the machine which he has sold me,he asked me to go the nearby service center of acer i.e. "Digital solutions",Lucknow. I told the same problem there too, but to my bad luck the problem was not checked properly n they told me that because of load and many processes running together there is some sound coming from the fan but- no worry! it's not a problem and the machine is ok. I came back and again after a week the same problem occurs I went back to the service center and deposited my system there on[protected].since then I don't have any message regarding my laptop.I have tried a lot to check the status but it was all wain, the esteemed support no. of acer is not available most of the time or not found.Hope you will understand and contact me as soon as possible.

                                laptop was purchased in nov.2011. Within 3 months motherboard was replaced since there was no display by the local serlcentre. Within one month the audio is off, A howling noise eminates when the vol. control is operated. There is no reproducion of basic sounds or the sounds from web. I am not able to get to acer on 1800 or on bsnl line. I request you to help me out My guarantee is upto Nov. 12. I spoke to Mr. Anil and nothing has happened. Kindly register this and intiimate Hyd centre to attend, Pl ack. Sarma

                                  I purchased a Acer Laptop model Aspire 4755 ten months ago. After that it's keyword stopped working, some keys were not working. I booked a complaint dated 14th September, 2012 - complaint number[protected]. They asked me to bring it at service center and 7 to 10 days to fix problem.

                                  Today on dated 1st October, 2012, after 15 days i got my laptop without repair. Now not any key is working, with additional problem. The reason they told, that this model's keyboard is not available in India. If i want to fix this problem, i need to buy from USA or other countries.

                                  Can i complain it in consumer forum ????

                                  Please suggest me...

                                    I have logged my notebook issue on 08/09/2012 from call center but still as on date my complaint is not attended by them after that
                                    i tried several times to know the status but the ivrs system always give me only one message that all our engineers are busy in attending call please wait sometimes for hours ihave to wait and nobody came on the line nor any body is bothered to know why its not attended. I think since Its under warranty period so company donot want to attend my call after this warranty period is over they will be attending this problem. I think this was my worst experiance. mobile [protected]

                                      Hi.

                                      I bought the laptop from Croma centre (Rohini) in July,2011 and took extended warranty from them. After 1 year my laptop stop working so I contact Acer Customer Care Centre but they said as my Acer Warranty is over so I will get the service from Croma Service Center.
                                      Later on after contacting Croma Contact centre, they requested me to visit Croma affilated Acer Service Center.
                                      I visit there service centre on 01st Sep,12 and they told me to leave it for testing. "THAT TIME WAS BATTERY WAS IN ABSOLUTELY FINE". 2 days later when I contacted them they said laptop's motherboard not working. So, i requested them to change it and that time they informed that Battery is not working.

                                      After 15 days of struggle I got the response from the Acer Service Centre that my laptop is now fine and they replaced the motherboard within extended warranty but the same time they told me that Battery is not working and they want to replace it and it will be chargable. On 21st Sep,12 I visited there servive centre and they gave my laptop and said for battery I need to pay once they have battery in stock. When I asked why should I pay for that when I knew that "BATTERY WAS WORKING FINE WHEN I SUBMITTED THE LAPTOP" then they said that they are only service and for any issue "Tata Aig Insurance" will take care.
                                      Apart from that when I checked the laptop configuration "MY ADDITIONAL RAM WAS MISSING". For that they said that it was missed by mistake and they assembled my RAM in other laptop my mistake. Later on they rectify it.

                                      I want you to resolve my issue as it was service centre fault.

                                      I bought laptop 5830 T from croma sion on 6 jully 2012.After two months its battery was not charging. So I had lodge complaint by mobile pbone. my case number is[protected]. As per instruction by company I had handover laptop to ACER Service Cener namely Dolphin Systems, Thane on 22/09/2012. Till today My laptop was not repaired. Whenever I made enquiry with Dolphin Systems Colpnay person told me that battery is not reveiced from company.
