This is regarding my laptop, my first purchase of an Acer product & your customer service.
I had purchased my laptop in the month of Oct-2011 from your authorized seller in Sec 20 C Chandigarh.
And in the month of Nov itself it started giving problems to me.
First, its keyboard started giving problems, letter C stopped working in it and then started working and letter M stopped working & now both are working
Secondly battery stopped charging in Dec itself, I handed over the laptop for repair at your Auth. Service center in Chandigarh (Teg Computers) & since then I am getting dates about getting my lappy back.
I submitted my laptop on 4th of jan and till date I am just getting dates and no service, firstly I was told that its battery is faulty and we need to replace the same I waited for a week for battery to arrive and then I was told to take my lappy back as it was done.
I went to your service center after numerous calls inspected my laptop and got the same problem again (battery was not charging), then i was told to visit next day again, I called up next day , then your engineers found problem in motherboard and I was given 19 of jan to collect my laptop as it will be repaired & I am pretty sure when battery took a week to arrive , my motherboard is definitely gonna take a month now.
Anyways it is, I don’t want the same faulty machine back, my whole work depends on the laptop and I am suffering from last 15 days, and I can’t wait any longer and not interested in taking back a repaired machine which started giving problems in very first 2 months of its purchase, lying in the service center junk unattended , and I am not sure how long it will last in coming years.
I had been given Total coverage policy and was told I will get my lappy replacement even in case of extreme physical damage, hence you are requested to replace my device and provide me with a newer one. Before that I need to take back up of my machine & you can let me know when I can visit your service center for the same. I will back up my device there and then .

I own a acre laptop .. i informed the service center about the issue with teh cd rom as it was making some noise when reading CD .. at that time the laptop was under warrenty .. .. now the cd rom is not detecting .. and when i informed them they cheaked and informed me teh lapto was not under warrent .. and its out of warrenty .. by one day .. JUST ONE DAY .
