Acer India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Acer — support

I own a acre laptop .. i informed the service center about the issue with teh cd rom as it was making some noise when reading CD .. at that time the laptop was under warrenty .. .. now the cd rom is not detecting .. and when i informed them they cheaked and informed me teh lapto was not under warrent .. and its out of warrenty .. by one day .. JUST ONE DAY .
My laptop windows vista homepremium, Acer Aspire 5613AWLMI suddenly experiencing shutdown
problem at the starting of the computer. Reason reported was that the Acer Orbi Cam failed.
Few days back a message came such as the present plug for my Orbi cam may be changed to another
place (there were about 8 places) the webcam will work faster than before. Since I am an old man
not technically qualified I took no action. Since then I experience this shut down problem. When I
click for Orbi Web cam, computer reports there is no web cam connected. I am at a loss to understand
this magic really hurt my computer. Please let me know what course of action must be taken to repair
this problem.

        I have bought a acer laptop 2 years back(approx.) and now i am facing with a problem that my laptop graphics display is malfunctioning and when i reported to acer center in Ludhiana they told me that they will be replacing my motherboard but they said that the part is currently unavailable and they show no significant response from their side. I am being suffering with this problem from 2 months back i am totally fed up with service of acer laptops.
        I request the authorities that they should resolve my problem as soon as faster so that my faith in acer remains the same as it was earlier.

        Acer — display problem

        This mail is regarding my laptop acer travel mate 5730 which is being purchased on[protected] and after just 65 odd days has given to your service centre digital solutions on[protected] at 12:05 pm at lajpatnagar Delhi case ref no:[protected], for the fault of LCD screen which goes white on boot up and sometimes in between vice a verse. the problem was not major and they have confirmed me to give back my laptop within 4 to 5 days. But till date after 12 days the problem is still not being solved, while asking for reply for problem they have ( service centre staff )replied me saying that we are not having LCD screen for the particular model and we can't able to do without that, and also when asking that when they will be delivering to me, they have replied that it may take 10 to 15 days more. while arguing for this matter for complaint or action, they have also told that we are not responsible for anything, we are just service station and we are not having any concern with acer company and you can contact acer customer deptt. for that. after this issue i have contacted customer care deptt on[protected] at 17:50 pm they have replied me with that they are processing this request as urgent and on top priority basis. Hoping that it may gets faster. But still date i have not got ted any clear reply. As a good acer customer this is my worst ever experience and wastage of my time and the problems i am facing without my laptop. I think i may never suggest any one to take your product regarding the services your company is offering. waiting for your reply with problem solved. else it affects your company reputation in legal actions or so...

        Acer 5536G — company loaded Windows 7 not working properly

        Just Opened sealed pack my laptop ACER 5536G...I am trying to make recovery CD...but unable to do that because of window 7..

        Company doesn't have any information of Window 7 in my laptop..poor
        database..

        Laptop demands my hard drive on factory default settings to make a recovery CD....

        I have encountered this issue second time... i guess ACER is loosing brand value due to poor customer service...

          the acer service centre operator at kolhapur is a fraud person..........
          1st of all the acer service centre is not like the standard service centre...
          the centre is like personal home.......
          and the person is cheating with consumers.........
          i had given my laptop to him on the date 14th of march 2012.........
          than he kept my laptop for a week n than replied me with high quation of 5000 rs for a single lock damage......
          than i denied the offer than he started to bargein....he told give 4000 rs , after few hours he gave me offer of 3500 rs......
          but due to his aerogent behavior i demanded to return back my laptop ,....
          so he misbehaved with me and returned my lapatop in very damaged n poor condition......
          he retuned my laptop in open condition(not in assembled condition).....
          pls take serious action ...........
          he tortured me alot....now my laptop is in very bad condition so pls help to solve this situation.......

            I have purchased Acer laptop last year in April which says that I will have 1+1 i.e 2 yrs warranty on my product, also charged more but now they (acer) is refusing to do so,
            Please tell what to do now & where to file the cheating complaint for it.

            Also people aware of them you too and opt for better product than this.
            I bought Acer 5738G (SL No.: LXPEY-0-X[protected]FA-2000) on 20th of January, 2010.
            Since then, the machine had to be restored twice (causing me heavy loss of data both the times), due to some of the software issues at Acer's end, Mother Board replaced (Data Again Lost) and now I have again registered a complaint (Case ID:[protected] Dt. 11.12.2010) regarding DVD RW not working (neither reading nor writing, but spinning at high speed)

            Feeling the pain of losing data every now and then, with no faith on the machine bought worth Rs. 45,000.00.
            Every time machine goes to the service centre, it is kept there for more than a week.
            I think Company has provided me Curse along with the product – To Visit the service centre every now and then?

            This time, my warranty is about to expire in January, and Acer's people are forcing me to buy Warranty extension against my will.

            This is the 4th time, the laptop will go to service center for repairing.

              Acer Laptop — Improper service

              Hello sir/madam
              My name is sushma patil. I've purchased a laptop of ACER on 30th June 2009 from Croma, Hadapsar Pune. I was having problem with its keyboard so I gave to the servicing center in Pune. Its been more than 15-20 days that my laptop has not been given back to me. The servicing centre peole say that they have ordered the keyboard from Bangalore but have not received. I called the customer care in Delhi. Everytime they say my problem will be resolved in 2-3 days but yet my problem is not solved. Today I called the concerned person who loks after the ordering about the parts in India i.e. Mr.mahesh Kulkarni. I told him the whole problem, he told me he'll contact me in 1-1and 1/2 hour but he has also not contacted me. My project is going on and because of that i needed a laptop. Please look into the matter
              i am lokeshwar from pune.i've got an acer laptop which was working good for 1 yr, but after that suddenly one day it didn't started, i told to my cousin whao is a computer engineer, he said some tracks of the mother board are burnt it 'll take some[protected] bugs to repair it, take it to the acer service centre.now, the service centre centre people are telling me that the mother board has to be replaced even the battery is not working properly.they are giving me an estimate of 18, 000 Rs.moreover they offered me to sell my laptop.now, my laptop is worth 9000 Rs only for them.this is certainly not the kind of help customers are seeking.i don't know what they did to my laptop but i m going to sue those people.
              i have a acer aspire 4730Z laptop. working with one years ago . but still now dont have a good os on it . currently working on windows xp . vith this os does not support a battery stand by 3 hours . just only 1and half. can any one give me the solution about the suitable os & battery ... :-)

                    Acer — replacement of laptop

                    I have purchased a laptop Aspire-5738G in 2009. Serial number for my
                    Laptop is LXPAN0X[protected]. From the day I purchased this
                    laptop I have been facing many severe issues. I have almost got every
                    part of this laptop replaced but still i am having troubles. I have
                    got battery replaced, DVD-ROM replaced twice, touch-pad device
                    repaired, Hard disk malfunction, mother-Board replaced.In the last
                    complain I made I have got my motherboard replaced but new
                    mother-board doesn't work properly. My Laptop automatically shuts down
                    after starting. Battery doesn't charge. I have also given feed-back in
                    the form in which I was asked to sign. I didn't accept the
                    mother-board but i was forced to accept it by ACER engineer and he
                    said that may be you should raise another complain.

                    Their is some manufacturing defect with this laptop. I am student in
                    IIIT-Hyderabad, laptop is my daily need and I have many ongoing
                    projects which require laptop. I want this laptop replaced.

                      My name is Kavita. I happened to purchase my Acer laptop(ASPIRE 4738Z) on June, 2011. Few months back, well within 6 month, the charge of the battery was not lasting for more than 45 minutes and I immediately called up the Acer customer care center and asked them for replacement.
                      The Acer customer care people responded by saying for 30 minutes battery backup, it will not be replaced and since I might be using some software(Window 7 Started) in my laptop, that is the reason why I am not getting optimum backup (2 hours) from my battery
                      and informed me that there was absolutely nothing wrong, but unfortunately there was a problem showing with my battery(Consider Replacing your battery).
                      My First complaint number[protected].I visit acer service center also they told me same thing.
                      Request you to replace my battery.

                        I had lodged a complaint with ACER vide case id no:123011:12 om 30.12.2011 for my ACER Laptop Model Number :AS5745, Product Serial Number:LXPTW0C[protected]C72500 which is under onsite warranty. The Service Engineer came promptly and informed that the LCD needs to be replaced. As the part was not available at Ranchi I was told that it would take about a weeks time for the part to arrive at Ranchi. The laptop has not been repaired yet, and because I had purchased the laptop for my daughter who is a student at Chandigarh and she was facing serious problems with her projects in the absence of the laptop I had requested M/s ACER through email to get the laptop repaired latest by 08.02.2012 or replace with new one, so that I can send the laptop to Chandigarh through a family member who was going to Chandigarh on 09.02.2012. But unfortunately ACER did not bother to even reply to my email. The local , service centre of Ranchi informed on 07.02.2012 that part is expected on 08.02.2012 and the machine would be repaired as soon as the part arrives, but the part did not arrive on 08.02.2012.

                        Under the circumstances I have no other option but to buy another laptop for my daughter as she cannot wait indefinitely for the the laptop to get repaired, moreover I have to send the laptop to Chandigarh after it is repaired and I have to wait till someone in the family goes to Chandigarh. I want complete refund of the money which I have paid for the laptop immediately as even if the laptop is repaired after I am compelled to buy a new laptop for my daughter, it will be of no use. If repair under onsite warranty takes unlimited time how will the consumer manage if there is inordinate delay. Moreover a laptop needs to carried from one place to the other very frequently and such delay in repairing will render the purchase useless.

                          A acer laptop purchased from Athrava Computer, E5/16 Arera Colony, Bhopal Cell No. [protected], Cash Memo No.139 Dt.9.6.11 Serial No. LXPMJOC[protected] . Having battery problem, the same has been shown to Athrav computer and they sent us to the Service center of Acer at Bhopal. They (Bhopal center) agreed to replace the battery and told it will take time to receive the same from their Bangalore Office or you can directly...

                          i Angel Jain, hv purchased an acer laptop (SERIAL NO.- LXPSN[protected]FD902500) on 04/03/11....n jst after 5 months of purchase its starts generating problems. I logged my compaint twice at acer technical support n once at their complaint id (i.e. acer.[protected]@intarvo.com) but am vry disappointed by the kind of service acer ppl are providing. Baisically i hv three issues going on with ma laptop right now...
                          1. some of the keys are not working
                          2. an abnormal blurred block is coming on 1/4 of ma screen &
                          3. the system hang every alternate minute just after a start (wid 4GB RAM n a core 3 processor..??) after wic i hv to restart it n dn it hangs again.

                          so all in all ma laptop is jst useless within its warranty period + thanks to d kind of service acer is providing....its nt even being used from sept2011....

                          a guy frm acer agra service center (AS Computers Services Ltd) visited for onsite warranty bt acc. to him its a physical damage. few days before i jst close d lid of ma laptop during night n in d morning its al blurred. i jst cant understand how can d screen of the laptop be damaged jst by closing d lid (n nt in a rough manner at all). there is not even a single scratch either on the outer body or on any other part of it caz it jst happens like dat n i even dnt understand how. i even send few snapshots of my laptop screen so as to make acer ppl convinient to understand the problem properly n act upon it sensibly.

                          i hv registered my online complaint via mail on 9th jan & received a further mail from some Mona Shinde (Acer E-mail Support (Laptop, Consumer DT & Projector) ) which states that "We really regret for the inconvenience, however the same has been forwarded to the concerned dept & will resolve the issue up to your satisfaction"
                          but after that i hvnt received ny further mail from acer and wnevr i called acer on the no's given below the mail to know about the status of my complaint...evrytime the TSO ppl give me the assurance that your complaint have been forwarded further by our mail department and you will receive a satisfation mail today itself from acer...bt that never happens.

                          basically i am fed up of complaining to acer as they didnt respond properly and the kid of service acer technical support guys are providing is more than useless caz they dnt know hell about anything and wnevr u ask them 2 tranfer the cal to some higher authority or jst provide some no. on which a person can check the status of their complaint, they are jst incapable of doing ny of those....
                          and as far as my complaint is concerned, i think acer ppl are jst waiting for my laptops warranty period to pass away, so dat i dnt hv any further reason 2 complaint about.

                          i am forwarding u this mail so as to let acer higher authorities know that customers are suffering by the kind of service acer india is providing and act positively upon dat as soon as possible. And it vl be gud if they jst let me know whether they are capable or not to act on my complaint before my laptops warranty period expires.

                            I purchased an original Acer adapter with a warranty of one year, it got faulty within six months of date of purchase. i took the adapter to the Acer authorized service center, its almost 15 days now, i am not able to finish my work. i cannot do anything but wait as the Service center representative is not giving a positive response.

                            Kindly take Actions so that i can resume my pending work which is increasing day by day.

                                Product support stopped with 12 months of purchase & no response from company Since last three months

                                I had purchased Acer X960 smart mobile phone in Sep’2010 for Rs. 13000/-. it started giving problem after 8 months o[censored]se & the company provided the warranty support to my satisfaction. within 10 days of warranty period which expired on 17th Sep’2011, in first week of Oct’2011, the handset fell from the bed & started giving problem in display. On visiting to service center on 11th Oct’2011(Quest Infotech, Roots Tower, New Delhi), they confirmed that the display has gone faulty & needs to be replaced after some time as the spare display is not available in stock. I had waited for more than a month & on 12th Nov’2011, I got my phone back with intimation that whenever the spare display will come from Acer India Ltd, the same will be replaced. They did not have any idea of time even after lapse of 10 week.

                                On contacting Acer custmer care, the company has informed me that the screen for the phone is not available. I have asked the company if there any scope of getting the screen or repairing of the faulty one? Or I need to throw away the smart phone worth 13000/- with in just 12 months of its purchase. The company is silent & not responding. Even after 12 weeks no response from company.

                                Pls help me.

                                  This is regarding my laptop, my first purchase of an Acer product & your customer service.

                                  I had purchased my laptop in the month of Oct-2011 from your authorized seller in Sec 20 C Chandigarh.

                                  And in the month of Nov itself it started giving problems to me.

                                  First, its keyboard started giving problems, letter C stopped working in it and then started working and letter M stopped working & now both are working

                                  Secondly battery stopped charging in Dec itself, I handed over the laptop for repair at your Auth. Service center in Chandigarh (Teg Computers) & since then I am getting dates about getting my lappy back.

                                  I submitted my laptop on 4th of jan and till date I am just getting dates and no service, firstly I was told that its battery is faulty and we need to replace the same I waited for a week for battery to arrive and then I was told to take my lappy back as it was done.

                                  I went to your service center after numerous calls inspected my laptop and got the same problem again (battery was not charging), then i was told to visit next day again, I called up next day , then your engineers found problem in motherboard and I was given 19 of jan to collect my laptop as it will be repaired & I am pretty sure when battery took a week to arrive , my motherboard is definitely gonna take a month now.

                                  Anyways it is, I don’t want the same faulty machine back, my whole work depends on the laptop and I am suffering from last 15 days, and I can’t wait any longer and not interested in taking back a repaired machine which started giving problems in very first 2 months of its purchase, lying in the service center junk unattended , and I am not sure how long it will last in coming years.

                                  I had been given Total coverage policy and was told I will get my lappy replacement even in case of extreme physical damage, hence you are requested to replace my device and provide me with a newer one. Before that I need to take back up of my machine & you can let me know when I can visit your service center for the same. I will back up my device there and then .

                                  I had a word with your CCE also in the same regard on 18-Jan @ 1000 AM

                                    Sir, I purchased an Acer 19" TFT Model No. Al1916WA bearing no. ETL1800C[protected]. It stopped working and I lodged a complaint to Acer India on phone [protected]. Your executive who came from Intarvo Ltd. SCO No. 2473-74 Sector 22-C Chandigarh attended the complaint and carried away my TFT along with him and replaced it with another old &repaired TFT bearing ETL and promised me to deliver my TFT shortly after repairing. But regretfully I want to submit that this TFT also stops working after few days. Then I again lodged complaint with ACER but no body atteneded my complaints. Now I do not know what happens with my original TFT and the TFT given to me in lieu of my original TFT is also not working. So I request you to deliver my original TFT and take back TFT given to me in replacement. Please look into the matter and oblige.

                                      I have a acer aspire laptop and it's hard disk has crashed.

                                      Because it is in warranty, I registered a complaint with customer care. Complaint Number[protected]

                                      It's been 20 days, No engineer visited to replace it. However I received one call where an engineer confirmed he would come in 2 days to replace it.

                                      Now the case has been closed without resolving it.

                                      When I call the customer care they simply act ruthless and hang up stating "We will not replace your hard disk even if you are in warranty" I made 6 calls but same replies.


                                      Acer has accepted a scam where they openly state that they will not abide by the warranty terms and conditions.


                                      I highly recommend all consumers not to buy any acer product. They will rip you off. Because they are openly accepting the scam and laughing it off, it is a high possibility they are in an under table set up with government and paying bribes to continue do it without fear.

                                      This corporate mumbo - jumbo is set up to exploit consumers and rip them off and don't be surprised if Hritik roshan is an active part of scam too. This game is huge.

                                      They may have put in lot of research on consumers cannot make it to media and nothing comes to lime light.


                                      Acer people can get in touch with me after getting details from complaint number mentioned above. They'll know my phone number.

                                      I'm not sure how big can I make it and spread awareness of the scam by acer but I will try. I hope I don't get life threatening calls.

                                      Acer is a scam on national level and Indian Government apparently supports it. Stay away from this company.
