i Angel Jain, hv purchased an acer laptop (SERIAL NO.- LXPSN[protected]FD902500) on 04/03/11....n jst after 5 months of purchase its starts generating problems. I logged my compaint twice at acer technical support n once at their complaint id (i.e. acer.[protected]@intarvo.com) but am vry disappointed by the kind of service acer ppl are providing. Baisically i hv three issues going on with ma laptop right now...
1. some of the keys are not working
2. an abnormal blurred block is coming on 1/4 of ma screen &
3. the system hang every alternate minute just after a start (wid 4GB RAM n a core 3 processor..??) after wic i hv to restart it n dn it hangs again.

so all in all ma laptop is jst useless within its warranty period + thanks to d kind of service acer is providing....its nt even being used from sept2011....

a guy frm acer agra service center (AS Computers Services Ltd) visited for onsite warranty bt acc. to him its a physical damage. few days before i jst close d lid of ma laptop during night n in d morning its al blurred. i jst cant understand how can d screen of the laptop be damaged jst by closing d lid (n nt in a rough manner at all). there is not even a single scratch either on the outer body or on any other part of it caz it jst happens like dat n i even dnt understand how. i even send few snapshots of my laptop screen so as to make acer ppl convinient to understand the problem properly n act upon it sensibly.

i hv registered my online complaint via mail on 9th jan & received a further mail from some Mona Shinde (Acer E-mail Support (Laptop, Consumer DT & Projector) ) which states that "We really regret for the inconvenience, however the same has been forwarded to the concerned dept & will resolve the issue up to your satisfaction"
but after that i hvnt received ny further mail from acer and wnevr i called acer on the no's given below the mail to know about the status of my complaint...evrytime the TSO ppl give me the assurance that your complaint have been forwarded further by our mail department and you will receive a satisfation mail today itself from acer...bt that never happens.

basically i am fed up of complaining to acer as they didnt respond properly and the kid of service acer technical support guys are providing is more than useless caz they dnt know hell about anything and wnevr u ask them 2 tranfer the cal to some higher authority or jst provide some no. on which a person can check the status of their complaint, they are jst incapable of doing ny of those....
and as far as my complaint is concerned, i think acer ppl are jst waiting for my laptops warranty period to pass away, so dat i dnt hv any further reason 2 complaint about.

i am forwarding u this mail so as to let acer higher authorities know that customers are suffering by the kind of service acer india is providing and act positively upon dat as soon as possible. And it vl be gud if they jst let me know whether they are capable or not to act on my complaint before my laptops warranty period expires.

    I purchased an original Acer adapter with a warranty of one year, it got faulty within six months of date of purchase. i took the adapter to the Acer authorized service center, its almost 15 days now, i am not able to finish my work. i cannot do anything but wait as the Service center representative is not giving a positive response.

    Kindly take Actions so that i can resume my pending work which is increasing day by day.

      making trouble to give it back
      acer service sucks man too much head weight
      pls guys never buy a acer

        Product support stopped with 12 months of purchase & no response from company Since last three months

        I had purchased Acer X960 smart mobile phone in Sep’2010 for Rs. 13000/-. it started giving problem after 8 months o[censored]se & the company provided the warranty support to my satisfaction. within 10 days of warranty period which expired on 17th Sep’2011, in first week of Oct’2011, the handset fell from the bed & started giving problem in display. On visiting to service center on 11th Oct’2011(Quest Infotech, Roots Tower, New Delhi), they confirmed that the display has gone faulty & needs to be replaced after some time as the spare display is not available in stock. I had waited for more than a month & on 12th Nov’2011, I got my phone back with intimation that whenever the spare display will come from Acer India Ltd, the same will be replaced. They did not have any idea of time even after lapse of 10 week.

        On contacting Acer custmer care, the company has informed me that the screen for the phone is not available. I have asked the company if there any scope of getting the screen or repairing of the faulty one? Or I need to throw away the smart phone worth 13000/- with in just 12 months of its purchase. The company is silent & not responding. Even after 12 weeks no response from company.

        Pls help me.

          Hi,

          This is regarding my laptop, my first purchase of an Acer product & your customer service.

          I had purchased my laptop in the month of Oct-2011 from your authorized seller in Sec 20 C Chandigarh.

          And in the month of Nov itself it started giving problems to me.

          First, its keyboard started giving problems, letter C stopped working in it and then started working and letter M stopped working & now both are working

          Secondly battery stopped charging in Dec itself, I handed over the laptop for repair at your Auth. Service center in Chandigarh (Teg Computers) & since then I am getting dates about getting my lappy back.

          I submitted my laptop on 4th of jan and till date I am just getting dates and no service, firstly I was told that its battery is faulty and we need to replace the same I waited for a week for battery to arrive and then I was told to take my lappy back as it was done.

          I went to your service center after numerous calls inspected my laptop and got the same problem again (battery was not charging), then i was told to visit next day again, I called up next day , then your engineers found problem in motherboard and I was given 19 of jan to collect my laptop as it will be repaired & I am pretty sure when battery took a week to arrive , my motherboard is definitely gonna take a month now.

          Anyways it is, I don’t want the same faulty machine back, my whole work depends on the laptop and I am suffering from last 15 days, and I can’t wait any longer and not interested in taking back a repaired machine which started giving problems in very first 2 months of its purchase, lying in the service center junk unattended , and I am not sure how long it will last in coming years.

          I had been given Total coverage policy and was told I will get my lappy replacement even in case of extreme physical damage, hence you are requested to replace my device and provide me with a newer one. Before that I need to take back up of my machine & you can let me know when I can visit your service center for the same. I will back up my device there and then .

          I had a word with your CCE also in the same regard on 18-Jan @ 1000 AM

            Sir, I purchased an Acer 19" TFT Model No. Al1916WA bearing no. ETL1800C[protected]. It stopped working and I lodged a complaint to Acer India on phone [protected]. Your executive who came from Intarvo Ltd. SCO No. 2473-74 Sector 22-C Chandigarh attended the complaint and carried away my TFT along with him and replaced it with another old &repaired TFT bearing ETL and promised me to deliver my TFT shortly after repairing. But regretfully I want to submit that this TFT also stops working after few days. Then I again lodged complaint with ACER but no body atteneded my complaints. Now I do not know what happens with my original TFT and the TFT given to me in lieu of my original TFT is also not working. So I request you to deliver my original TFT and take back TFT given to me in replacement. Please look into the matter and oblige.

              I have a acer aspire laptop and it's hard disk has crashed.

              Because it is in warranty, I registered a complaint with customer care. Complaint Number[protected]

              It's been 20 days, No engineer visited to replace it. However I received one call where an engineer confirmed he would come in 2 days to replace it.

              Now the case has been closed without resolving it.

              When I call the customer care they simply act ruthless and hang up stating "We will not replace your hard disk even if you are in warranty" I made 6 calls but same replies.


              Acer has accepted a scam where they openly state that they will not abide by the warranty terms and conditions.


              I highly recommend all consumers not to buy any acer product. They will rip you off. Because they are openly accepting the scam and laughing it off, it is a high possibility they are in an under table set up with government and paying bribes to continue do it without fear.

              This corporate mumbo - jumbo is set up to exploit consumers and rip them off and don't be surprised if Hritik roshan is an active part of scam too. This game is huge.

              They may have put in lot of research on consumers cannot make it to media and nothing comes to lime light.


              Acer people can get in touch with me after getting details from complaint number mentioned above. They'll know my phone number.

              I'm not sure how big can I make it and spread awareness of the scam by acer but I will try. I hope I don't get life threatening calls.

              Acer is a scam on national level and Indian Government apparently supports it. Stay away from this company.

                  First They ask your 10th or 12th mark sheet for verification..after that they allow yourself to attend one interview at some concern.. If you ask your certificatate eventhough you didnt get a job through that consultancy they ask around 10000 rs to return your marksheet please aware.. They mostly focussed on freshers only

                  I am Candidate of AACERS WORLDD i have been with them last 2 months .Recently i got placed in CTS THROUGH ACCERS WORLDD .So i don't admit wat the candidate say's "fraud".Because friend of mine he got back his certificate but they never charged.Going to" aacers worldd is worth it"."Thank you aacers worldd"

                    Acer Customer Service is one of the worst i have ever seen. Its been 3 months since i gave my laptop to the service center and they said there should be a replacement of the motherboard. But since then whenever i call the person at the service center he use to say that the part has not yet been received. When i check with the case id in the apn.acer.co.in website it said that the case has been resolved. I use to call the customer care almost...

                    This is a complaint regd the Karvenagar Authorised centre for Acer .I had asked them for a new keyboard last week and kept on calling this week for the same and they didnt respond and today they tell me that it will take another week or so which is just pathetic. And he also said that it is unavailable where as we get it in the market easily and at a low price than that what they quoted.....its pathetic service in India

                      The speakers my ACER Acer Aspire 5742G is not working properly but i can hear the music through the head sets. I have bought laptop last month in UAE with international warrenty. Now i am currently in rajapalyam, tamil nadu, india.
                      Yesterday i have spoken to the acer customer care executive for the service of laptop in the nearby service center. But they informed that for the free service (laptop is in warrenty period) i have to take it to delhi or bangalore, otherwise i have pay the service charge.
                      The above cities are far away from my location it is impossibe to go there for the service. Madurai or thirunelveli are the nearby cities for my location where there are acer service centers but they are asking for the case id for the complaint, but your customer care executive i have spoken with refuse to register the complaint.
                      since my laptop is in warrenty period i like to take only free service. So register the complaint against this issue and give the proper solutiion for this problem

                        This is to Submit that i submitted my E 101 Mobile phone on 29th Aug 2011 in Quest Infotech Pvt Ltd, 613, Roots Tower, Laxmi Nagar District Center, Delhi as " CASE REF. NO: 15". Even after almost 3 month it is not being repaired. I also contacted Sonia Sharma (Acer Official) for it but every time she is telling let me check and i will come back to which she never come back. I called Service Center, Service Manager Praveen ([protected]) & Sonia Sharna 1000 time but no body is providing me any solution. In last i m trying to use this method, only God knows it will work or not.
                        IT SEEMS THAT I DID ONLY ONE SIMPLE MISTAKE IN LIFE BY TAKING DECISION OF BUYING ACER MOBILE FOR WHICH I MAY I PAYING ALOT.
                        The service centers treat us as a culprit of buying Acer Mobile.

                        you are requested to look in to the matter immediately.

                          Respected sir/madam,
                          Recently I purchased your acer aspire 4830t laptop (date:24/10/2011).But the problem is one of the USB port is not working. All the drivers were installed, but no result. I have consulted your showroom/service center Belgaum, but they told its hardware defect from the company only.
                          If the products are not tested before delivery what about the cosumers ? even after consulting service center they are not responding properly !!
                          what should I do now ? If its defect from company they should replace the laptop or they should provide on spot service. Who will be responsible for this ?

                            I the undersigned hereby complaining about your product viz.ACER LAPTOP.
                            I had purchased Acer Laptop from Croma stores situated at Ghatkopar R-City Mall on 12/11/2011 with one year warranty from Acer company saying that the product will reapaired at homesite with representative of Acer company.
                            After 6 months my laptop starting problem of following type
                            1) Screen getting shaking while using it with netas well as normal using.
                            2) Now a days screen light saving device is not working .
                            3) I had also download Kasper antivirus to prevent it from any virus issuses that affect my laptop.
                            4) Now a days Backspace key not working properly.
                            In the month of September 2011 I had taken my laptop to Acer Service centre situated at Ghatkopar West near Jhunjunwalla college .But they tell me that t will not repaired at this place as they repair laptop of Acer after warranty.
                            It shows bad impression of your company.If possible please touch with me for repairing my laptop as soon as possible because I am fed with your after sales service.

                                i bought a brand new Acer btouch smart phone on 15th Oct. by 22nd Oct, teh mobile phone had crashed and was not usable. queries to customer cell were clueless on replacement formalities. they said repair will be done. just needed to know hiw can teh company expect the customers to use a repaired brand new phone. pathetic service. advise future customers to stay away from this phone model.

                                  I Purchased Acer Laptop 5742G model in the month of June-2011. And given 3 times complaint to contact center of acer support & in ASC for technical support as i use to get BLUE SCREEN ERROR... And till date no solution is given to me simply ASC people will took the laptop and doing factory reset and giving to me back by saying issue rectified....But when i using laptop for 1 week again my problem begins.... Since i called microsoft team also for any software support may require.......And then they confirmed its not software issue its problem with either RAM, Hardisk or Main Board. Hence i re contacted the Acer asc they confirmed its not a problem with hardware.......

                                  Here i stuck with then what could be the problem ......... What is the problem in replacing the spare part.... atleast i will be satisifed or asc will come to know problem fixed or not...

                                    myself jignesh j patel and as shown in bill i had purchased a laptop ( Acer aspire 5738) on 28 September 2009.and also extended warranty of it for one year which one is given in attachments.but customer care executive said that this laptop was register in july 2009 and that was totally wrong.so i kindly request to you just update my warranty period in database and give me profit of warranty extension pack.and up to till now i cant lock my case on online service for my fault in laptop.

                                    As described in last mail lots of faults shown in your service.now this all of attached files are for proof of purchasing of laptop and also it truth of extended warranty at 30th October 2009.when i extended this warranty i was paid 1200rs for it but its totally useless.now when i was extended this care pack at that time from your site you had sent only purchase bill of care pack but there was no any care pack certificate sent by you.that was your fault and due to your fault i cant take warranty service in acer service center. now one thing is also shown in attachment is that i had purchased this laptop on 28th September 2009.and you had gave me certificate of care pack with purchasing date of 10th July 2009.this one also fake from you.i was not registered this date for warranty.

                                    now due to this types of lots of faults of typing of purchased and warranty date in care certificate by you.and also not sent care pack certificate after payment of rs.1200 on 30th October 2009.here i have a proof of purchased bill,warranty bill.and also proof of that you have sent me care pack certificate lately.i can easily shown this proof in consumer court for claiming of reward back.i want to rs.1200 for bad services and fake services.give me back my reward of rs.1200 in my bank account as given below.

                                    when you had sent this care pack certificate that one useless for me.
                                    so please give me positive reply as soon as possible.

                                    Acer India, Aspire 5738 — Fraudulent

                                    Respected Sir, I went with my Accer Laptop to on eof it authorize reparing centre,located on the first floor of Krishna Kahnaya Complex at Marwari tola lane near Jain Temple. The Mechnic changed my laptop battery (the changed battery serial no. is the evidence). Now only you can save me from this injustic. Please help at earliest. Thanks

                                    just got ripped off by Acer - spent 4 hours checking a match on the Acer Cashback website, went to the store, typed in the SNID to the Acer Cashback website - it dumped a page of garbage HTML so I figured it had crashed.

                                    After buying the laptop and spending 5 days ringing and trying the website and continuing to get this garbage HTML and reporting it to their 'Helpdesk' to no response, I finally spoke to a girl at Acer who said 'that means no cashback' - WTF!?! - so beware - the garbage HTML code is Acer's way of telling you there's no cashback.

                                    When I complained that this was misleading, the girl's cool tone and sticking to message indicated to me that she had heard this complaint a hundred times before, and this was Acer's deliberate deception by failing to provide a meaningful 'no cashback' message, just a page of garbage HTML code.

                                    Only now I read of hundreds of complaints about Acer's cashback scam - too late for me, but not too late for you.

                                    Acer - avoid - this is one unethical company !

                                      I purchased an Acer Aspire 5750G laptop from Vijay Sales on the 12th of Aug.

                                      For the past two weeks we have been facing various issues with the Device, randomly rebooting and hanging, crashes Blue Screen Errors etc.

                                      The notebook was reformatted twice, it didn't make difference.

                                      Acer's After Sales Service proved pathetic, you reach one of their service center's they tell you they can't do anything since its UNDER WARRANTY and they only handle those devices which aren't in warranty. Their other service center says they can't do anything unless we have a case ID. Getting a Case ID? this brings us to another point.

                                      Acer's Toll Free numbers are as a pathetic as its service centres. It routinely takes a wait of 30 to 40 minutes to get through. The first time we managed we weren't even given a case ID. The second time we're told their "engineer" will drop by to take a look. This individual was supposed to reach at 12.30 multiple calls later someone finally turns up at 5.
                                      Acer's product and its after sales service are pathetic and shoddy in the extreme. I have already informed all the people I know of this. I and the people around me will NEVER make the mistake of purchasing an Acer product again.
