    I have purchased a Acer Aspire 5745 laptop (sl. no. LXPTW0C[protected]) on16/5/2011. Right from the day one it got hanged when connected to direct power supply.
    I registered the complaint on couple of ocassion, finally the service centre agreed that motherboard is faulty and got to be replaced and it will take time.
    I inquired how much time it will take, they told me from 15 days to one month. But till date (06/09/2011) there is no response from service centre or customer care. Both are giving the same answers that they can tell only the status of complaint not the time when mother board will be changed?

      On 4-9-11 at 0830 AM, i started my laptop . Local Area was available , but , the You
      Broadband connection was denied with the print on screen Wan PPO connection.
      I tried thrice but i get the same answer.
      Then, i tried for double click on Local Area connection . To my surprise the Activity packets Sent as well as Received was less than 100 both as soon as i read it, the
      Local Area Connection was disappear & the shared Modem was also dead for the whole day.I tried for the customercare No[protected] but it was asking two question & immediately giving engage tone.
      i complain aforesaid matter on 5-9-11 at 930AM & No given to me is[protected] & to
      my surprise the Modem was showing ligth with sent signal only.After few hours the technitian came has started the internate connection with Activity packets less than 100 saying to the ladies member available in the house that your computor has Virus & hence it is running slowly.Now, what is relation with sent & received signal from Local Area of your You connection& Virus ? Signals were above thousands since no.of years.
      To get desired speed as per contract with the You tele & no harasment as done on 4-9-11 by the Local Area / remote control staff & the technitian came to home saying wrong information as i have already scanned my Laptop on 4-9-11 & not a single infected file was found after complete scanning

            First of all, there is no use taking screenshots of this problem because it is a monitor display problem. Please contact Acer, if it is within warranty they'll replace the display panel (not the entire monitor). Same thing happened to me, mine was LG LCD Monitor, and within warranty period - so they came and replaced the LCD panel.

              I Bought Acer Laptop,Model Travel Mate 4720 from Goregaon east VIJAY SALES store on 6/01/2009 with three years warranty.My serial no of laptop is LXTK50C[protected]B72000 .

              Whenever there is some problem with my laptop i call Acer Support System and they dont accept it becoz VIJAY SALES had sold this laptop to Mr.Hardik Patel on 1/10/2008 and same is Registered in Acer Support System with Three Year Warrant.It means Mr.Hardik Patel returned the Laptop and same Laptop was sold to me after 2month stating its new.
              I was cheated by VIJAY SALE and whenever i go to Service center iam looked n treated in BAD manager.

              When i spoke to manager of VIJAY SALES he didnt replied me correctly.

              VIJAY SALE IS FRAUD AND CORRUPT ORGANISATION

                I bought an acer laptop 2 months ago and it was rich with manufacturing defects.

                It takes 12 -14 hours to recharge a 6 cell battery. At fist support at acer claimed it to be normal time, which is not correct. Later they changed the battery, which never helped... the issue is bigger may be the mother board is faulty... but who wants to purchase a new laptop and start off with repairs from day 1 to an extent when acer doesnot know what is wrong!

                Later they promised to replace the laptop. I have all emails (just in case they might refuse). What I get is a new date every time ... "YOU will receive the laptop on blah blah date"

                Acer support sucks big time. So if you want to waste your money, time and sweat..go ahead and buy Acer.

                Well I wouldnot stop here, I still have the faulty machine and will drag them to court, TOI has come forward to help and shed some light on this bizzare acer support. Soon a lot of customers will be saved from Acer.

                    Hello,

                    I bought an Acer Notebook Aspire 5745 on 19th Octber 2010 from Sigma Mall,Lalbagh Lucknow. Within 8 months the LCD started to malfunction. I have visited the service centre on 16th June 2011 and registered my complaint (case id:[protected]. I was informed that the LCD will be replaced within a week at the latest. Acer did not replace the LCD within a week as promised. When I called them on 22nd June, they promised me that the issue would be resolved by 25th June for sure. Even on 25th I did not receive the new LCD. When I called them, I was informed that they would take 2 to 4 days more to get the LCD as the supplies had not come from Bangalore. They have been saying this from the beginning.

                    I informed them that it is unacceptable that a new netbook malfunctions within 8 months and the part is not replaced even after two weeks. I asked them for the telephone number of the national head of customer service. They said that they do not have the number but gave me the toll free number[protected] and an email address acer.[protected]@intarvo.com. Calling the toll free number was not of much help either. I bought the Acer netbook for work purposes and its malfunctioning is causing me enormous hardship.

                    I must say with great restraint that I am disappointed with Acer’s netbook and its after-sales service and would not advise others to purchase their netbooks.

                      sir,
                      i have registered complaint against screen of my laptop with case id[protected] on 27 june 2011. An engineer visited and told that it need to be changed and it would take one weak to replace it. Now it has been nearly one month but my problem is not sorted out. The service center is saying that they are waiting for the product to arrive.

                      I have logged a complained regarding my screen problem in my laptop on 6th Oct 2010. Every time I called up to Service centre I didn’t got proper response.
                      Same problem I already faced with Case ID[protected]for Adopter).I am totally disappointed with acer services. My warranty period is also going to complete on 17th Oct 10.
                      1 month is already going to finish for my warrant period with using defected parts of acer laptop. Can i claim one month extended warranty in this case.

                      Please share the Email/Contact number to whom I can escalate this case.
                      I purchased an Acer laptop last year that is on August 2012 but the it has been not even a year twice the product was not working properly it has disturbed all my work. How can I trust and buy the product again I request you to take immediate action on this an solve the problem.

                      i m kartikaya, i buy acer aspire in march and its nuts were not properly screw and now its 3 nuts are missing and no response from customer care as well as acer care ...so plz look after it ...

                        on15th july, 2011 i gave my acer laptop aspire one at your authorised service centre located at Nagpur service center,at Senate Technology , near orange city hospital shop no.14 ph-[protected]. The service center person without checking the problem he will give the 900 rs it is the just diagnosis charges i[censored]r problem is solved then ok other wise u will pay minimum charge for that.
                        thats why i will forward this request to higher authority to change the behavior of the technical team person other wise u will face big problem in future.

                          i bought acer mini 10 inch, model aspire one on 3rd july 2010. since sept 2010 i witnessed a problem in the display of the netpad. due to nature of my work and unavoidable cicumstances i register my complain in last week of march 2011. i was told that there is problem in the display(l.e.d) of the netpad.after 10 days the service centre at muzaffarpur bihar has changed the l.e.d of the netpad. but again in the month of june i experienced the same problem, and register my complain through Jain computers teensukhia, assam. this time the old problem of display was there and battery was also not giving adequate back up. when i got my netpad on 2 of july 2011. but again after a week the same problem of display popped up and now its checking my patience. i request to please take adequate and immediate action and ensure permanent remedy of this problem.

                          Acer Aspire one laptop — Operating system

                          I purchased a Acer Aspire one Laptop with original Windows XP Operating system. I had to pay extra for the same. But recently my system crashed and i lost all data. So I contacted Acer for the OS Cd so that i can install it myself . They said i have to bring my laptop to the service centre. I told them this is a licensced OS in my name and i have paid for it so why cant i get a copy but they refused to send the OS cds. I even told them i will bear the courier expenses.I requested them as i was not able to visit the service centre because of my busy work schedule and extensive travelling.

                          Acer — FAULTY LAPTOP

                          Dear Sirs,

                          It is with deep anguish that I have to place this matter before your good selves. I had purchased an Acer Travel Mate (Serial NoLXTQ20C0048309F3C2000) on 11th May 2009 from Croma at Malad. A copy of the bill is attached for your reference. However, from day one the lap top has been giving me problems. After switching on the lap top, the screen would light up and there would be no further action. After switching the lap top on/off a couple of times it would finally start. Accordingly, I called up your help line and registered my complaint (Case No[protected] on 30.06.09. I was advised to bring the lap top to your service center at Andheri (east) to enable them to rectify the same. After a couple of days I received an sms stating that the lap top was ready and the same may be collected. I collected the same but to my dismay after a few days the problem resurfaced.

                          Once again I followed the above process and my case was reopened. I was informed by your service center that they would require to change the display and hence would take a minimum of 15 days for completion.

                          I am absolutely amazed as to how such a defective piece passed your quality checks especially in the view of you being one of the best known names in the business. This defect has made me take leave just to hand over and collect the lap top. Further, this has put me into so much of an ordeal that I had to borrow a machine to complete my various tasks. Despite your assurances I am not all convinced that this issue will be rectified and till then I have to make alternate arrangements so as to carry on my daily routine tasks.

                          In the light of the above I request you to do the following

                          1) Replace the machine with a new one
                          2) Refund my entire amount.

                          In case I do not get a suitable reply by 10th August 5, 2009 I would be forced to take up this matter with the Consumer Forum.

                          I had purchased an Acer D-725 (Serial NoLXN440C047936BF8622200) on 23rd October 2009 from M2K INFOTEK at Dhanbad (Jharkhand). Bill no. is M2K/945. However, from last 15 day the lap top has been giving me problems in its DVD ROM. DVD ROM is not working properly.

                            There is no battery backup at all, whereas 1(one) year guarantee is given with the laptop during purchase. moreover, I have taken an extended guarantee of another 2 (Two) years at the time of purchase. Now, its not even two years and battery has zero backup. Pl. provide us the name of an Acer service station at Guwahati.

                              I bought an acer monitor(H193HQV) on June 19 2011 and the monitor got spoilt on 30 June 2011 for which i lodged a complaint on July 1 2011.
                              Acer has given the number of a call center for india on their warranty card. When called on the number it takes them approximately to come on the line. However after someone responding to the call, the person said that this number is not for taking complaints for the monitor and gave an another number. When called on the other given number the same incident happened and i was given yet another number.
                              In this way i had to call up 5 times(waste 50 minutes) before i got through to the proper complaint center. After taking the details of my complaint the person who took the complaint said that their server wasnt working and someone would call me within an hour. However no one called. 5 hours after making the complaint the 1st time when an another person responded, i came to know that the complaint wasnt recorded the first time. This time after recording the complaint(time 3:08 pm) and given a case id(5076) i was told that someone from sysnet global technology would contact me within 24 hours. No one contacted me from the said company and after calling the acer helpline again i am told that my complaint was recorded at 5:45pm and not 3:08pm. Even tough 24 hours had passed till then and there was no response. As it was a saturday i was told someone would contact me on monday. However monday(July 4 2011) was the same story and no one contacted me during the entire day. How many days is it going to take them to send a person to check the monitor or are they ever going to call?

                                call from acer india I called on Nagpur service center CIGNET TECHNOLOGY Ph.[protected] on dated 27-06-11. This center gave a rude reply that you should have contacted us within 5 days for service support. Now you have to login the complaint again to acer india.

                                I am having purchased a DLP Projector of ACER Model No. 1160 in 2008 . Now it is out of warranty and having problem in power supply section as told by Redington India Varanasi . Now I want to know about the availability of the power supply because Varanasi Service Centre is not ready for support , no spare parts available with them as told by manager.
                                Let me know about the support after warranty will be provided by acer or not on paid basis.

                                  FIRST OF ALL I WANTS TO MAKE ALL PEOPLES UNDRSTAND THAT WHAT ONE FEELS WHEN HE DECIDES TO PURCHASE A SO AND SO PRODUCT OF SO AND SO COMPANY AND JUST AFTER FEW MONTHS OF PURCHASING IT GOT DEFECTS AND AFTER RECTIFYNG IT FROM THEIR OWN SERVICE CENTER IT GAIN STARTS CAUSING PROBLEM IN THAT SAME PART THOUGH STILL BEING UNDER WARRANTY CONDITIONS.SO ONE CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE HOW BAD THE OTHER PARTS WOULD BE WORKING INSPITE OF BYING A HIGHER GRADE MODEL.

                                  HERE I M TALKING OF MY ACER LAPTOP MODEL NO.ACER ASPIRE 5740G AND PURCHASED PRICE WAS RS 43000 FROM A MALL IN BANGALORE.BUT JUST AFTER FEW MONTHS WHEN I STARTED PLAYING MY DVDS IT STARTED GIVNG ERRORS BY NOT BEING ABLE TO READ IT AND SAYING "PLEASE INSERT A DISC".I TRIED ALMOST 46 DVDS ON IT WHICH WORKED PROPERLY ON MY FRIENDS LAPTOPS.SO FINALLY I WENT TO ACER SERVICE CENTRE AT LANGFORT,BANGALORE.THE TECHNICIANS INPECTED IT AND REPLACED IT BY A NEW DVD DRIVE.SO THAT EVENING AFTER WASTING MY ALMOST 4 HOURS N 300 RS ON TRAVELLING I GOT TO MY ROOM WITH A HAPPINESS AND HOPE THAT NOW IT WILL WORK GOOD AND PROPERLY.BUT THAT JOY AND HAPPINESS DIDN'T LAST MUCH LONG AS " ACER " PROVED WHAT IT IS .JUST AFTER 3 MONTHS OF BEING REPLACED OF MY NEW DVD DRIVE WHICH WAS IN WARRANTY IT AGAIN STARTED GIVING SAME PROBLEM.NOW WHAT I CAN DO.NOW I M AT MY HOME AT NAINITAL AND HAD LEFT BANGALORE AND I HAVE TO AGAIN REPLACE IT AS MY LAPTOP IS IN WARRANTY AS I HAVE PUCHASED IT ON 31ST JULY 2010.BUT PROBLM IS THAT NTHERE IS NO NEARBY ACER SHOWROOM TO MY HOUSE.THE NEAREST ONE IS OF DELHI WHICH IS SOMEWHAT 240 KMS AWAY FROM MY HOME.SO I AM NOT BEING ABLE TO PLAY ANY DVDS.

                                  SO ATLAST I WOULD SUGGEST AND HIGLY RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FREINDS,PEOPLES AND CITIZENS TO INDIA TO NOT TO GO FOR LOW PRICE OF ACER LAPTOPS AS ITS JUST A EYE TEASE OR WHICH YOU MAY PAY A HIGH LOSS AND TROUBLE ALONG WITH REGRET OF BUYING A NON ---- COMPANY'S PRODUCT LIKE I DID.

                                    I SANTANU GUCHAIT PURCHASE A LAPTOP FROM BIDIT INTERPRISE ON[protected],WITHIN FEW HR IT GET FAULTY(NOT SHOWING DISPLAY).I CONTACT TO LOCAL SHOP AND AFTER THAT LOG A CALL TO ACER CALL CENTER AND DEPOSIT THE LAPTOP IN ACER SERVICE CENTRE.BUT VERY POOR RESPONSE I GET.ACER REPRESTATIVE ALSO NOT SUPPORTING.I WANT REFUND EMMIDIATELY OR NEW ONE AS A REPLACEMENT AT THE SAME TIME AND ALSO THEY ARE UNABLE TO REPALCE A NEW ONE AND HARRASME STILL.
                                    Its a harrasment for us readers if people don't have the basic courtesy of not using CAPS ALL THE FRIGGIN' TIME!!!
