Acer Laptop model-TravelMate Machine Sl.No.LXTVQ0C05103300B872000 was purchased at MIT, Manipal on 06.09.2010 by me, Anukul Anand. Suddenly, within a fortnight, charging of battery failed giving information as "Plugged in, not Charging". The Battery serial no. is BT[protected]F83B102. Also, both the speakers are not working.
I had visited my home town, Bhagalpur in Bihar. With these complains, I rushed to nearby Customer service center - "JMS Technologies, Bhagalpur". They kept my laptop for three days and after that, my anlaptop was returned unrepaired. They informed that the battery is poor, which needs tobe replaced and both the speakers are also should be replaced.Presently, these materials are not in stock and it will take more than a month for their replacement.
I failed to astonish with such behavior of the service centre of a reputed laptop co. like ACER.
Please help me to redress my grievance. Whether there are any onsight service facility for my laptop. Please guide or help at "[protected]@gmail.com"

Acer — charge not staying

Even if i charge my laptop(acer-aspire-5052) completely, 100percent also...the charge is staying only for 10mins maximum. Am not able to keep my laptop on ma lap and work on it caus its very very hot!!please help.

    Hello,

    I bought an Acer Notebook Aspire One D260 on 9th September 2010 from Vijay Sales, Mumbai. Within 10 days its keyboard started to malfunction. An engineer from their outsourced customer service centre (RLC Pvt. Ltd., Andheri (E), Mumbai) visited my place on 23rd September and noted my complaint (case id:[protected]. I was informed that the keyboard will be replaced within a week at the latest. Acer did not replace the keyboard within a week as promised. When I called them on 1st October, they promised me that the issue would be resolved by 5th October for sure. Even on 5th October I did not receive the new keyboard. When I called them, I was informed that they would take 2 to 4 days more to get the keyboard as the supplies had not come from Bangalore. They have been saying this from the beginning.

    I informed them that it is unacceptable that a new netbook malfunctions within 10 days and the part is not replaced even after two weeks. I asked them for the telephone number of the national head of customer service. They said that they do not have the number but gave me the toll free number [protected] and an email address acer.[protected]@intarvo.com. Calling the toll free number was not of much help either. I bought the Acer netbook for work purposes and its malfunctioning is causing me enormous hardship.

    I must say with great restraint that I am disappointed with Acer’s netbook and its after-sales service and would not advise others to purchase their netbooks.

    My name is Ankit diwakar my leptop fingure part sensor does not work properly i m also complaint in your service center but they do nothing.
    i m log my case at 31 August Aprox 2 months are complete but i m not satisfied with acer customer service because the fingure print sensor part is not delever to service centre.
    Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

    Netbook key came off...took it to the service center, he says first register online and come back, then we will see if we can fix it or not...Also not sure how long it will take...he says maybe 2 weeks to 1 month...The Service center attitude sucks !!! They are neither helpful nor are they willing to assure if they can fix the problem.

    Acer Aspire — keypad problem

    dear sir,
    i am very sorry to say that your after sales service is a worst.i bought the laptop from mega trade calicut on march of 2010 and my complaint is that one of my keys in the key pad is not in use the (s key)and i have registered the complaint on 15/11/2010 and ther is no reply from the shop .i don't refer any one to buy an acre laptop because it is a waste .and i hoping for a favorable reply soon
    i have problem. i have 5.1 home theator speeker and that speeker are not proper sound in my laptop but other same laptop it is give proper sound. the costomer care was aneble to help me beacouse my lapto proper sound in him hed phone and 2.1 home theator speeker what i cac do for that

    M having acer aspire 5738 series bought on febrauary 1st . Its WIRELESS device is not detecting.
    I ve complained to the customer support center on NOVEMBER 18 and they gave me a case-id[protected]. Since it has been 1 and a half month i not yet received any solutions from acer. I live in COIMBATORE-TAMILNADU. When i ask the service center in coimbatore they are telling that the device is not yet came from acer itself.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I have purchased ACER Laptop Model 4736-Z bearing sl no- LXPFZOC[protected]E11601 and another identification no as BT[protected]C165B204 on[protected] .(copy of proof of purchase submitted) And the laptop was working fine till[protected] when to my surprise it refused to boot and I had lodged a complaint with customer care vide no[protected] and have subsequently handed over the laptop to you , later i was informed that the laptop had developed issues with mother board and as the laptop is in warranty would be replaced and i have patiently waited till 7-9-2010 when the laptop was handed over to me .
      Adding to my agony the laptop, after replacing the mother board again refused to load the os on[protected] and i have again lodged a complaint with ACER Customer Care vide no[protected] and have again handed over the laptop to you on[protected], now to my surprise your competent engineer first identified the issue to be hard disk and later after 2 days changed the version stating that the issue lies with the mother board .
      Since then i have been regularly following up with you regarding the status of the said laptop and further as per your advise have also spoken to one Ms vinoda on[protected] on[protected] and she promised to keep me updated about the status of the laptop by evening 6.00pm , which as usual she failed to respond to me and when i tried reaching you by 6.30pm on[protected]/[protected]/[protected] i was informed by your staff that you have left for the day .
      And today i.e[protected] have spoken to Vinoda on the above said number and she has assured me of fixing the issue with out confirming the date.
      Could you Please be kind enough to explain me , "how can the mother board develop issue with in 5 working days after replacing it , and if so what are the quality parameters ACER india is following? " now i am afraid about what would happen when i receive my laptop is the BIG Question which still stands unanswered.

        I brought an Acer Laptop from a shop named PG Infotrack (phone no:27605541, 32912435, [protected]) near Mukherjee nagar (near Batra theater), north Delhi on 26/09/2010. On 29/09/2010 one of keys came out from the pad when i was cleaning with a hand kerchief. The lock of the key was broken. Then i came to shop and asked them to correct that.They somehow fixed it there with the broken key, I said them to correct it with a new key. they said the shop is not a service center, if i want to correct the problem then i should go to some acer service center . They trated me very badly. I recently came from kerala and i am not very familiar with places in delhi. how can i find the acer service center?

          My Acer service request number ID is[protected].

          I had purchased an Acer 5542g laptop on December 28, 2009 and it has given me problems consistently ever since. Since March, there has been constant flickering in the screen, which I have unsuccessfully tried to get resolved several times by taking the laptop to Acer service centers. The laptop is still under warranty.

          In June, I took the laptop to the following Acer service center:

          PIONEER COMPUTER
          343- Ambedkar Road, Opp. Shipra Hotel, Ghaziabad
          Ghaziabad
          PIN: 201001
          UP

          The service center returned the laptop to me after almost a week with NO repairs done.

          Since the flickering problem intensified in later weeks, I took the laptop the following Acer Service center on September 4. The laptop has been lying with them for more than three weeks now and NO repairs have been carried out.

          PERFECT SERVICES
          1020, Tenth Floor, Roots Tower building,
          Lakshmi Nagar,
          Delhi - 92.

          When I call them, they say that the faulty part, the “monitor cable” has not been “received” at their end from Acer. I fail to understand what that means!

          I do not know if this is a lapse on the part of the said service center (Perfect Services) or Acer, but the fact is that despite shelling such a huge sum of money, I am without a proper laptop for almost 10 months now. This is customer service at its sloppiest from Acer. It is appalling to see such a reputed brand treat a critical function in this manner.

          I sincerely hope that Acer will make IMMEDIATE efforts to solve this issue at the earliest. If I do not see remedial action on the part of Acer within a reasonable time frame, I will be forced to move the Honorable Consumer Court and push for compensation for the delay, repeated trips to the service center, and loss of productivity. I believe I have a very strong case right now.

          I expect the laptop to be returned to me at the earliest, running and in perfect condition.

          I too have an identical experience, My lap top lying in there service centre for more than month case id is
          [protected]. Acer does not respect our country but want to make money by selling products here. Can they do it in US? Our judiciary and political systems are so corrupt, which is well exploited by Foreigners particularly Koreans.
          I too have the same problem with the same laptop, let me know if you guys got any solution. I just got fade up running behind customer care centers.

            I had booked a complaint about my TFT monitor malfunctioning on 25 Aug 10 on Acer toll free no.[protected] & was allotted with complaint No.[protected] which was promised to be cleared within 48 hrs, though it was attended by the service center rep on 03 Sep 10 after numerous requests & reminders. The rep told to replace the monitor within 03 days though it is not replaced till the time of posting this complaint. On checking the status of the complaint on 25 Sep 10 the customer care rep told that the monitor is already replaced by Redington Kanpur (UP, India) & the complaint is closed. On checking the status on www.acersupportonline.com there also the company is showing that the monitor is replaced on 23 Sep 10.

            hi,
            my acer HI63HQ is not showing anything in the moniter. is it the complaint of hardware? pls help me............
            i have buyed a new s series 20" monitor LCD LED balcked. its picture quality is poor.
            only in the stright direction. if the same image in the side look is not good. please be carefull while selecting the LED/LCD screens.
            Please let us know how to indentify the orignal monitors (Acer)... everywhere and everhing is fake...anybody provide and answer.

                Since then I been trying to contact the service center Digital solution (Delhi) regarding the status of my laptop, as per their information the keyboard has to be replaced, no one is responding when I try to contact the manager or the engineer regarding the status on the following the numbers 29840592, [protected] they say u you can contact okhla contact person Sonia at 30862723 or the manager at [protected]. She has already given me 4 different dates saying this would be done on this specific date moreover she is very difficult to get on. As per her conversation she has the spare part at her service station but would take few more days for the part to reach Digital solution (Delhi).in spite of the same she says you can take the laptop back we would inform you once we send the part to Digital solution (Delhi.

                I have already contacted the customer care several times also.

                  I purchased Acer laptop 5738Z on 30 September 2009 during my warrantee my keyboard stopped functioning for which I launched a complain id[protected] on 6th September 2010 since then my laptop is lying with the Service centre after repeated request for the repair I received my laptop on 22nd September 2010 at 3pm on 23rd September 2010 at 10:30 am I again opened the same case with the same problem which is still pending.

                  I would like to avail the extended two year warrantee for my laptop. I would request you to extend my warrantee for the number of days till this issue resolves. Case id[protected].
                  acer service is very poor. I am a computer hardware dealer.and have received 60-70 complains of acer brand. they provide laptops very fast unlike other brands..they take atleast a 1 month to replace any part under warranty.. if paid they replace it very fast.. they provide very poor service when under warranty. i have stopped selling acer brand.. if any customer comes asking about acer brand I recommend other brands.. acer must improve their service if they want to increase sales..
                  Acer provides the sloppiest service of all.

                    Acer beTouch E101 Smartphone – Only the name says smart. actually its the worst phone. keys thru touch are not user friendly. multiple times it has happened that ring doesn’t come actually when a person is calling, but after 5-20 min just a missed call will come. also call history feature keeps on hanging. camera results are also not good; lacks clarity and zoom in/out option is not there. videos also lack both sound and picture clarity. overall no value for money.
                    looking for stylus which is broken after few months - not readily available in the market.
                    I completely agree with the complainant. Acer smartphones are often fault ridden but to add to it their service and turn around time for repairs and their service are horrible and painful.Competent authorities should look into Acer's Service and warranty records and take stringent action and force them to comply with their service delivery terms.
                    Horrible Phone .. Adding to the above complaints ... Sometimes it does not receive the calls only ... After 2 to 3 hours the call starts coming ... I seriously do not know how they came up with such a technology :P ... Battery backup is also very low ... Headset started to malfunction within a few months and replacement is almost impossible to find ... Bad touchscreen ... What not it has all the problems in the world :D

                      mentioned in complaint there is no three black spots i.e. complete black belt
                      appear. At the Center of screen big Black Spot, at bottom side (right side) large
                      White Belt appears. This happened in Service Center in the duration of service
                      period.

                      - Nothing is any breakdown
                      - No any Scratch/Crack on Device
                      - Nothing is any breakdown
                      - If the appearance problem is too big and different than at the time of
                      submitted device who will responsible? How appearance problem area is increase? Why Show White Color Large Belt? that is not at the time submitting the device and it still increasing bad appearance. It means the defect arise in device defect is still continue.

                        Sir since last two month i had given money for my repair of accer handset as touch pad has been broken and the service station at borivali east has promised me that within 20 days it will be repaired but till date nonthing has been done my WORK ORDER NO IS A10B01000160 SERVICE CENTER CODE IS 2002664.

                          I have tried to contact customer service but I failed to do so in every way .

                          Service center people say you have to register complain with Acer only then they will provide service .

                          Acer — WEbcam not working.

                          Ive acer-aspire-5052 LAptop. my webcam was fuctioning properly.but one day when i switchd on there was no "webcam" option in "My Computer" nor was any camera available in Control pannel-Scanners ans camera's.when i invite my friends to view my webcam, it says "cam not available". please help.
                          We cam doe snot work on model 5532 if anyone wants to buy it I will sell it very cheap about to buy a new computer .some of there sites actually charge for help and some will ot even talk to u, i persoanlly believe that they camera do work and are active and that people persoanl lives are being invades so I will have to have the device removed by a professional if I keep it .Hopefully it will not cost to much

                            I HAD PURCHASED ACER LAPTOP NUMBER LX.AXTOC.006LE {WO :37001706} THROUGH MY COLLEGE ....SEMCOM ......VIDHYANANAGR , ANANAD GUJARAT ..SINCE THE DATE OF PURCHASE THIS LAPTOP IS NOT WORKING G PROPERLY AND SEVERAL TIMES IT WAS GIVEN FOR REPAIR TO YOUR AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER THAT IS EL ECON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LIMITED AND LASTLY ON 19.7.2010 AGAINST JOB CARD NUMBER 1481 WHILE GIVING THIS LAPTOP IT IS INFORMED BY ENGINEER NAME MR. RAJESH SHARMA ..THAT .,...MOTHER BOARD OF THE LAPTOP IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY , THE SAME NEEDS TO BE REPLACED . IN THIS CONNECTION IT IS REEGRETD TO MENTION THAT TILL DATE Y LAPTOP HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED TO ME AFTER REPLACING THE MOTHER BOARD .                             Acer — Defective Mother Board

                            I have purchased ACER ASPIRE 5630 From Spain last year. I had warranty for 1 year.

                            But laptop has got serious mother board problem and it stopped working. I have given it for repair in Acer Mall. But they returned it after one week without any work. Even I made a complaint to Acer and subsequently got a call from Acer saying that this series is not launched in India and they will search for motherboard. After that, they did not conatcted for any updates.

                            I can say this company Acer is not a reliable and technical staff at least in Pune is worst.

                              I had bought a ACER ASPIRE ONE 532H on 24 july 2010. The laptop battery had issues of charging so i lodged a case by calling the customer care (case id:[protected], The laptop was given for inspection to BIX Computer (Acer 24x7 customer service center) on 26th july 2010. now its going to be a month since the battery replacement case has been lodged. I NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY MORE MONTHS IS ACER GOING TO TAKE FOR REPLACEMENT OF JUST A BATTERY, I M FED OF LISTENING TO THE EXCUSES GIVEN BY YOUR SERVICE CENTER MANAGER'S & CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE, I NEED BY BATTERY REPLACED ASAP OR I M LODGING A COMPLAINT AGAINST YOUR COMPANY IN CONSUMER COURT & CONSUMER GRIEVANCE CELL.
                              hi brother .. bad luck.. you and i also lost.
                              Acer is the worst product in the market. Please don't choose any product specially LAPTOP's.
                              The worst customer care in the world and the worst dealers in the world. These bloody ACER.
                              It needs to be banned in india.

                                I had ACER laptop purchased 2 years ago that developed technical snag after which sales at Pune did took long time longer than a month to replace motherboard and now again after a week the same is not working on contacting ACER they showed negligent attitude and are not doing the correction even after waiting more than a month,They say that the new mother board to be replaced is not available as again the same has problem.Even the customer care people show indifferent and callous attitude to customer.ACER is worst as far as afer sales servicing is concerned,I need your help as after approaching the after sales service people at Pune no one has shown any helping attitude to correct the same even though 2 months is going to be over now since i have handed them the laptop for repair,customer care people are also not helpful till date.

                                I have logged the complaint 15 days back but still as of date I have not recevied any feedback from the acer company this shows they are not interested in retail customers they are more interested in giving service to large customer.                                   I bought one ACER 5738 DG laptop(S/N LXPQS[protected]D32000 )on 26 April 2010 from M/S MARS TECH MART (12, Satyanagar Janpath Bhubaneswar,Orissa, 751007,[protected]. To tell you the least my experience with the new laptop has been nightmarish. I would like to bring the following to your notice:

                                  Data Photon Broadband:

                                  When I went for the “Data Photon broadband” connection I was supposed to receive as a gift they wanted an address proof of Bhubaneswar. I told them that I have an address proof at Sambalpur so please transfer the same to your Sambalpur office, no one listened. Now I paid a cool Rs 42,500 for this laptop but all my requests for the rightful fell on deaf ears.

                                  3D LCD Screen:

                                  Barely a month after I bought my laptop the HD LCD screen’s backlight stopped glowing. As suggested by M/S Mars technology I went for a chat with your technical assistants on “apn.acer.co.in”, to my astonishment they said the machine serial number LXPQS[protected]D32000 you are mentioning is wrong. I had typed the serial number from the back of my laptop.
                                  I informed the same to M/S Mars tech they said you contact Mr Raj Kishore Gouda. I sent 3 mails to him and made two calls. He told me that he has not received any mails so send them again. I did the same and called him up only to listen “call me back after 10 minutes”. Believe me I felt ACER is a GOVERMMENT OF INDIA ENTERPRISE & not a private firm competing with DELL, HP, Compaq, Lenovo.
                                  When everything failed I went for toll free no. They tried to diagnose over phone when that failed they directed me to go to SPRIMON TECHNOLOGY ,[protected] with case ID[protected].

                                  SPRIMON TECHNOLOGY:

                                  This service center is a wonderful one. You call them up and a women picks up and says “welcome to Videocon service center”. I say I want to talk about my Acer laptop but she insists it is the Videocon service center. Then after 3-4 mins of conversation she realizes that Sprimon also services Acer laptops!! I submitted my laptop with Sprimon Sambalpur on 7 june. As there was no communication from service center for 7 days I called up to learn that laptop has been sent to Bhubaneswar. I called up again on 30 june to learn that they have got my laptop seerviced but the they have forgotten the bag and the adapter in Jharsuguda!! Finally I get back my laptop on 3 july without the laptop bag. They said the bag will be delivered later. Also the card reader slot cover was missing, many nuts were bare without their factory fitted cover…carelessness at its best!!
                                  I think you can improve your service network and also give some deadline for delivery to customers. On the delivery slip from Sprimon they mentioned that only one cable was changed in 2 hours service time; the delivery took 26 days. Also in the delivery slip the service had already been rated “good”!!! I don’t know who did that.

                                  Service Session 2:

                                  Hardly 10 days after its use I found the screen ¼ lighted and ¾ dark after an hour it was completely dark. I made another call with case ID[protected]. I was instructed to go to Sprimon again. The people their told me the laptop is DEFECTIVE & DEAD and will be replaced on 16 july. Again there was no communication so I called up on 7 august. The service center people told me that they have changed the LCD & now the laptop is fine!!! I said your people confirmed me of a replacement not repair. They insisted they have repaired. I asked them the laptop stays with you for 60% time and with me for 40% time; also what if the problem persists. Very confidently he told me that you extend your service warranty period for another 3 years by depositing Rs 4500 only. What a reply!!
                                  As on date the laptop is with Sprimon technology

                                  CONCLUSION:

                                  I request you to look into this letter very carefully and take care of all the flaws if you want to survive the market competition. For me I will never suggest anybody in my life to go for an ACER product as I don’t want others to suffer like me. Get back to me ASAP with your suggestion or I will be going to consumer court for my right to get a replacement of the DEFECTIVE LAPTOP and my DATA PHOTON connection.

                                    My Boss Acer Laptop Manufacturing Dated 08/09, purchsed from local shop in Batala few months ago.
                                    Laptop have DVD Writer problem. I went to Acer Laptop Service Centre, Opp. Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and explain the problem. Without touch of my laptop, he said to me for bill. I have requested sir, Computer purchsed in BUC College, Batala and all the last year bill send for the aduit cheacking. College have not possible to provide the bill but he refused to me.

                                        acer is a reputed company in the field of notebooks .now it has started selling pocket pc india .but it don't have a service centre india .it is shameful for such a reputed company not to satisfy its customers .they have given contract to some private companies they aren't bothered at all.they should have a service centre of their own.
                                        Even the marketing people not giding properly. I think no service provider in chennai for Acer mobile. Any one know that pl. help me.Acer company is resposibility for this problem
